161  Economy / Speculation / Re: Analysis never ends on: January 14, 2015, 12:16:07 PM
as a former stockmarket-trader i say, yes thats what capitulation looks like. we finally have the volume and the needed volatility.

nevertheless its obv hard to tell if its over yet.

Thanks

Is bitcoin harder or easier than stocks to trade?
162  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: January 14, 2015, 11:52:32 AM
Bounce is inminent. And not a normal bounce, a huge bounce.

What's your prediction based on, is it a hunch?
163  Economy / Speculation / Re: Analysis never ends on: January 14, 2015, 10:53:29 AM
Is this the capitulation/bottom everyone has been shouting about? Or is there more  to come?

just lying on the beach thinking about going for a beer  Cool

That's what I'm wondering. Is it capitulation or are there more legs down?
164  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: January 14, 2015, 10:49:36 AM
what the fuck has happend?

Panic selling, panic buying
165  Economy / Speculation / Re: The stolen coins are being dumped!!! on: January 14, 2015, 10:48:30 AM
The hacker stole less than 19000 coins. That's only a small fraction of what got dumped in the big crash. People have been panic selling.
166  Economy / Speculation / Re: Lost $100k in 24hrs! Btc CRASH!! on: January 14, 2015, 10:44:32 AM
I sort of know how the OP feels. I lost money in the big crash, but nowhere near that much.
167  Economy / Speculation / Re: Analysis never ends on: January 14, 2015, 10:39:40 AM
And while this should be THE bottom, I wouldn't be surprised if support at these levels gets tested in a month or two.
Well the rise so far seems corrective so we should have one more down, although given how far up the 4th went I wouldn't be surprised if 5 will be truncated/double bottom.

edit: yup, here we go Grin

Is that probably it afterwards? Will the price stop falling? My nerves are frazzled due to the big crash.
168  Economy / Speculation / Re: So how many of you missed the perfect "cup and handle" movement late November? on: January 13, 2015, 10:04:39 PM
I expect he's describing a trading term. I'm not a trader so I don't know any of the terms except dead cat bounce.
169  Economy / Speculation / Re: At least we are getting away from the boring zone. on: January 13, 2015, 09:46:02 PM
Thankfully the boring low volume sideways movement has stopped. That was a PITA.
170  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: January 13, 2015, 02:43:41 PM
am currently accumulating food cans

So you can sell them and buy bitcoins with them?
171  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: January 13, 2015, 12:06:17 PM
Blame on Mark Karpales he destroyed all the trust and reputation on bitcoin when he stoled and hacked 800.000 mtgox bitcoins.
He is responsible for all what is happening now!

I was surprised how well the price was holding at 900 until Mark Karples announced Mt Gox was bankrupt.

Anyone else coming back from bed? yawn!
Is there blood on the streets yet?

no Blood would be like -10% or even more. This is just a 5% sting.

Wait and see how this develops before buying.

Now we can call it blood on the streets. I hope everyone knows what this means.

No this is tomato ketchup on the streets. We won't see real blood until we have gone below at least 200.

First it had to be more than 10% drop, then it had to be under 266, then 255...

150$ FTW Who's got buy orders at 190-150 ?

Probably the bear whale

Need a snooze. Should I place a limit order or buy in now?

Edit: trolls everywhere gone silent. Whaddayaknow? Smiley
My advice.
Do what I am doing and just give up sleeping all together to start at your favorite bitcoin chart.
Bitcoin alerts never work for me :/

I guess most bitcoiners have had no sleep last night. I got about an hour. We could all get a decent sleep if the exchanges all agreed to simultaneously shut down for 8 hours a day. The only problem is people on the wrong side of the world would only get the chance to sleep during day time.
175  Economy / Speculation / Re: Before the day ends $200 on: January 13, 2015, 10:55:20 AM
Does sub 100 count as sub 200?
176  Economy / Speculation / Re: Well, I am all out again, for good this time on: January 13, 2015, 10:52:26 AM
there are a lot of bitcoins on the move, the blockchain is taking forever to give confirmations

The miners are probably giving up so it will take ages to find each block
177  Economy / Speculation / Re: is anyone else as stupid as me to still hodl? on: January 13, 2015, 10:44:26 AM
okay, honestly. maybe. If I did sell at around $500+. it would be great. I have like 2-3 BTC still sitting. Sold a btc when it was $600. But I see no point in selling now. It could break $300 again. Too quick. call it stupidity I am hodling.

Yeah, well the price might as well hit $100. But fuck it. $225 and $100 has no difference. It might hit $220 again in a week or two.

Oh, and someone tell me again, whats the reason for this crash?  Roll Eyes

I blame falllling, without his properganda the crash would not have happened
178  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: January 13, 2015, 10:42:04 AM
...should have moved all my coins out of storage..oh well Smiley

"don't use exchange, cold storage your coins, forget about it during 2 years and come back"

my favourite bitcoiner sentence  along with :

"bitcon is still in its infancy fundamentals are good, don't worry"

my favourite bitcoiner sentence "you only lose if you sell"
179  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: January 13, 2015, 10:37:46 AM
So what did you say was the bottom line, at which people will switch off their miners and the whole network will collapse?=)

i say 150...

dont worry ill just mine with my computer Cheesy i got this Cheesy
Nope.
I've been saying since a few months ago, I'll buy Bitcoin under 100 and I'll get them for under 100.

What if it drops below $10?
180  Economy / Speculation / Re: Well, I am all out again, for good this time on: January 13, 2015, 10:34:15 AM
..I held 2 bitcoins, if bitcoin goes to 10 000...
