When Bitcoin takes over in the future, my children and I will play Monopoly with actual US dollars, so I wont have to worry about them ripping, losing, or slobbering all over the useless paper money that comes with the game... Assuming Milton Bradley stays with the same denominations.. anybody care to predict when the monopoly dollar passes the US dollar in value?

If you think the purchasing power of Bitcoins will go up substantially and you are worried about paying capital gains tax then just purchase them by mailing cash in an envelope. Keep them for a few years and then see what happens. If Bitcoin catches on most people will accept them as payment and therefore it won't be necessary to convert them back to fiat and be taxable. Because you paid cash you are anonymous and there's no way for anyone to know how much the value appreciated.
So how should I deal with taxes if I did buy them on an exchange and the spent them after they gained value? The same way you would do so for any other asset that has appreciated.

I admit, I was pretty young at the time, but feel free to enlighten us as to the target of this great American War of the Carter/Reagan years?
Here's a small list to get you started. Zaire - 1975-1978 Jamaica - 1976-1980 Seychelles - 1979-1981 Grenada - 1979-1984 Morocco - 1983 Suriname - 1982-1984 Libya - 1981-1989 Nicaragua - 1981-1990 Panama - 1969-1991 Afghanistan - 1979-1992 El Salvador - 1980-1994 Haiti - 1986-1994

“You shall not charge interest on loans to your brother, interest on money, interest on food, interest on anything that is lent for interest. You may charge a foreigner interest, but you may not charge your brother interest, that the Lord your God may bless you in all that you undertake in the land that you are entering to take possession of it." Deuteronomy 23:19-20
All foreigners are your brothers and sisters. Assuming you are a primate.

If you dial a wrong number you dial again whereas you get a bitcoin address wrong... ouch!
Not really. There's a clever checksum. The probability that a mistyped address is accepted as being valid is 1 in 232, that is, approximately 1 in 4.29 billion. I type addresses all the time.. if you get a digit or two wrong a proper wallet will tell you.

The root economic cause of most wealth inequality is simply that some people choose to save and invest, while others choose to consume and live paycheck-to-paycheck.
LOL that's some Grade A Bullshit my friend.

" amount of information in X ... "
Sorry, this is just not science in my opinion. Sure, a HD might contain 1TB.. but what about the positions of every atom in there every nanosecond? That would be a lot more information.
"Information" is context dependent. If that's your interest stick with Claude Shannon and avoid Hawking / Berkenstein.

where's the proteins ? Thought I'd share an image of my meal since everybody on the internet's doing that nowadays. I apologize for the lack of artistic filters.
This is all part of my secret masterplan to skillfully introduce an entire community to the benefits of using Bitcoin.
Do you enjoy looking at my meal as much as I enjoy having it? I sure hope so!
Looks delicious, and clearly more than enough proteins there too.

...the hell they will have to go through of being forbidden to reproduce.
Eh? I think most people would disagree with you about "that hell", though of course "forbidden" is never a nice thing. Remember the ultimate punishment described for original sin: go forth and multiply. Notice also that birth rate tends to drop in places with higher consumer surplus. Other than that, yeah this is a discussion worth having. and advances in chemicals and genetics that allow us to grow much more food from the same amount of space.
I wish you were right about this one. Unfortunately it looks like the chemicals and genetics are instead often used to keep food out of peoples hands (Terminator genes, desertification, crops requiring more expensive chemical purchases) in the usual attempt to "make very rich people even richer". American agricultural science thousands of years ago was more advanced.

Imho this is a bluff to test the response. Everything so far has considered the effects of this within the US but it's biggest effect would be on the countries holding US debt, by doing this the US is effectively reducing that dollar valued debt by 10% and I don't expect they will be happy about that. I'd guess there are some heated discussions in diplomatic circles atm.
Could be a bluff you're right. It could also represent a behind the scenes power battle. Remember creating money from nothing is not a new idea, indeed every dollar on the planet was created that way. 1T$ created from nothing is not in any way new. The new thing here is that members of the United States corporation are trying to have the power to issue this new money through some kind of "commemorative coin" loophole. For the last 100 years it appears that this power has been closely guarded by a private group of banks commonly referred to the as "The Fed", whatever the fuck that means. They don't need to make commemorative coinage to issue this money but simply add zeros to accounts on certain ledgers. If congress tries to go through with this, one would expect some heads to roll. However we can be sure there is a lot more going on behind the scenes that we have no clue about, so discussion here is of little or no value if we don't know the players involved, their bullshit fraternities, or their psychotic incentives.

Since there's now a "Flu Virus Outbreak" on the nightly news, what would it take to artificially introduce a new influenza strain that becomes a US pandemic?
Assume a new flu virus has been created already in a lab somewhere (skip the biology).
Also, who would benefit? Obama-care advocates? Wealthy plutocrats? North Korea?
(I'm just throwing out some bad ideas.)
Extremely easy. All you do is simply announce on aforementioned program channel that it has been done. As you demonstrated, we all believe everything said there is truth so that is what happened. Beneficiaries: big pharma, police, advertisers.

Anybody know why the worlds most hated company doesn't change its name? OK it's been a lot of work to create a name that millions of people associate with slow painful death for all living things.. but why would such an image be desirable? I don't get it.

How many USDs are there in the world total. Is there any way of checking?
No. With a PhD in economics you can drag this answer out to hundreds of pages and include some estimates that might have some accuracy but the answer is still "no".
