I agree strongly, whenever there is a shitstorm you can sense it

The bytecoin shill storm just cooled and ethereum campaign started
162  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Ethereum dump starts? on: August 08, 2015, 10:53:08 AM
The market cap was around 170, now 88 ?

Price halved in a single day?

Is this the start of unsurprising inevitable dump?

164  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETH Speculation on: August 07, 2015, 05:15:52 PM
Will die out like most of these 2.0 coins

Except ETH isn't a coin it's a platform.

Lol general folks are still too dumb to use Bitcoin and you are pushing for some other advanced non needed crap
165  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should the Deepwebs adopt Monero [XMR]? on: August 07, 2015, 03:59:16 PM
Ring signatures is one of the best anon techs out there.

Just so you know, he is a well known troll

I believe I am the progenitor of the concept and term Knowledge Age in this context.

I have argued to rpietila that the technological struts (e.g. anonymous internet and anonymous money for trading and including micropayments scaling which Monero can't do) have to be in place before the change will occur and that his religious activism is counter-productive.

This provoked a thought, can Monero scale for high volume penny transactions?
168  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: If trends continue in 46 days is a new anon king on the throne on: August 02, 2015, 06:04:28 PM
Lol, when you own 82% of the premine, faking charts isnt so difficult
169  Other / Meta / Re: What's with all the Monero threads? on: August 01, 2015, 02:03:51 PM
And you created another Monero thread
170  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoin Section Cleanup Proposal on: August 01, 2015, 09:10:24 AM
Anybody with a working brain can judge that OP is a reverse troll trying to make Monero look bad
171  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: With no mixer we are all known now? on: July 29, 2015, 01:13:32 PM
You are at the wrong place, privacy isnt much talked about here, because Bitcoin has privacy as worse as it could get. Bitcoin is the wet dream of governments, where every transaction or everyone can be tracked.

The reply you might get mostly is - privacy is for criminals, ignore those dumb people, because

172  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Antonopoulos still right? on: July 29, 2015, 12:57:30 PM
When some members think of these features they obviously do not factor in regulation. I doubt that Bitcoin would be legal in so many places if it was 100% anonymous. This is why nobody is going to paste any code that helps with that.

So it means, Monero is the only competitor to Bitcoin. When noobs are enlightened enough that Bitcoin is worse at privacy than cash, the outcome will be clear

I was ready with my miner to mine this one on launch.

Time came for launch, a minute passed, ten passed, oh wait, where's the dev??

Then we see a post from ocminer (The Pools guy) that the dev failed to copy the code competently and the coin failed to compile. He said he can fix it though. WTF

Another copied crap!!

FAIL
174  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why is the Price of Monero still so low? on: July 18, 2015, 05:50:37 PM
Arent you a well known reverse troll kenji?
175  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Peter Todd calls dash snake oil. on: July 18, 2015, 05:04:30 AM
He forgot the part where Monero is a fork of Cryptonote and Risto instamined most of the coin.  Looks like Operation Bribe was a complete success!

There are cryptonote forks which have more innovative than Monero.

Yea so? Dash/Dark is also a fork of Bitcoin. Risto instamined? Lolz, dont lose your mind folks
176  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Where is the easiest place to buy altcoins with btc? on: July 02, 2015, 06:05:00 PM

179  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you consider bitcoin to be an altcoin/ shitcoin? on: June 10, 2015, 12:48:32 PM
Altcoins are which provide an alternate option to Bitcoin. These altcoins work the same way as Bitcoin and are just alternates

Some coins like Namecoin, Monero do things which Bitcoin cant and wont ever. So they are not altcoins, but simply complement coins
