21  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Anonymous coins on: February 17, 2016, 09:17:47 PM
Dash is not anonymous and it is a mining the speculator scheme employing masternodes owned by insiders which (pay them exorbitant fees) they obtained with a scam premine that they tried to hide and then drastically reducing the money supply planned after launch so they would own much of the coins.

I know but it will rain Dash trolls in here if you say the truth, so i kinda let it pass. Moreover if OP is smart enough he will find that out himself

OP you can go the long way or just follow this - Only Zcash and Monero are worth looking at
22  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Anonymous coins on: February 17, 2016, 09:12:26 PM
thx for the answers,

so for now, i think the most important ones are:

Monero
Dash
ZeroCash

right?

Right

Sonic could be added to the list right next to XST. Hondo and argakiig colaborate on much of the coding and testing of each others projects.

Link to sonic thread?

Lol noob!

Haha me or the guy in the video?

He said Bitcoin is anonymous - lol what a joke
24  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Anonymous coins on: February 17, 2016, 08:28:41 PM
Shadowcash was recently de-anonymized by Monero cryptographer Shen. So research is very important before buying anything

Here's what I was able to find, check for volume and market cap for the most widely used.

Zcash and Monero listed with shitclones? Only these two are not BTC clones

You clearly know nothing about anonymous coin tech and shouldnt be giving advice to people
25  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Google Tweets Picture with 2 Digital Currencies: LITECOIN and btc on: February 17, 2016, 08:23:26 PM
Height of desperation.

Its a generic physical coin image, nothing else

btw they didnt know perhaps physical Monero's do exist - https://forum.getmonero.org/get/image?link=http%3A%2F%2Fi.imgur.com%2FglsDQPm.jpg

27  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Thoughts on Zcash? on: February 17, 2016, 11:55:41 AM

Being anonymous is cool but it should be based on the Ethereum platform instead of bitcoin. Bitcoins code is amazing but the facts are the facts, Ethereums code is better.

Then we could start getting anonymous Ethereum clones.

Only Dash i know is based of Bitcoin code, or maybe some Bitcoindark shitclone.

Monero and Zcash are completely different from Bitcoin and each other
28  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Monero under 25 cents? What the hell are you waiting for? on: February 17, 2016, 11:53:56 AM
This is huge! Flat Earth comfirmed!  Cool

Isnt this More hilarious?
29  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is current monero's rise legit or just a pump and dump thing? on: February 17, 2016, 10:50:49 AM
So I think we have our answer: Major pump and dump, based on what happened today on Polo.

It is at .8 cents now, nothing major. You are incorrectly calling variations a dump. People who have followed stock markets might be laughing at you
30  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [XMR] Monero Speculation on: February 17, 2016, 09:47:08 AM
Everything seems down, but BTC going up
31  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [XMR] Monero Speculation on: February 16, 2016, 04:04:08 PM
Were we having a $1 parity party?

32  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is current monero's rise legit or just a pump and dump thing? on: February 16, 2016, 01:52:30 PM
It is a paradigm shift.
People are used to cheap Moneros but it looks like they need to say a farewell to Moneros under 2000 usd/xmr.

This.

Monero will not always remain that cool but cheap coin, the stealth phase has now passed and it is entering the awareness phase

33  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [XMR] Monero Speculation on: February 16, 2016, 01:31:54 PM
23 seems to be a real struggle

monero and their troll kids gang deserve a good dump in their faces Kiss

Thanks for your valuable contribution
35  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [XMR] Monero - A secure, private, untraceable cryptocurrency on: February 16, 2016, 01:18:07 PM
Why did the price of XMR rise that much in the past few days?

It's nearly 1$/XMR.

Do you think the price will continue to rise?

Cannot be sure, but the price rise is hardly surprising

Monero is still undervalued
36  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is current monero's rise legit or just a pump and dump thing? on: February 16, 2016, 12:38:56 PM

Monero has been undervalued for a lot of time. Its just finding its real value now which i think should be a bare minimum $4

Even if you dont value privacy and are not interested in Monero, the technology is beautiful and the project is far from a pump and dump
37  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [AEON] Aeon Speculation on: February 16, 2016, 07:26:56 AM

If your goal is cold storage why would you want to run the daemon at all? You can just create an Aeon address by running simplewallet on an offline device (or live USB/live CD) and send to that address. Even a very old computer can run simplewallet.

Ok, let's pretend I'm an idiot.  And five.  I'm not, but let's pretend I am.

What would be the best guide I could follow to do such a thing?

Lol, ok, what he is saying is if you want to cold store, you can just run the simplewallet and generate an address. Send coins to that address and you'r done. Simplewallet does not need the internet to run, you also dont need to sync with the blockchain. Wallet generation can entirely be done offline
38  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [XMR] Monero Speculation on: February 15, 2016, 07:38:30 PM
I would call 1% of the current supply a whale, so around 110,000 XMR.

Whale definition fluctuates with the price, if Monero shoots above $5, 0.1% is pretty much a whale
39  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [XMR] Monero Speculation on: February 15, 2016, 05:53:29 PM
Either I am very good at this, or a whale is reading me or both!

And no, I am not behind this (not a whale anymore after my coins were stolen)...

Haha, was just thinking its you maybe
40  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Thoughts on Zcash? on: February 15, 2016, 09:15:58 AM
10% of total supply  Shocked

Greedy fucks!
