The dev team has shown multiple times that they can handle problems, forks, and what not, and have earned the trust by working hard and constantly producing value. If you on the other hand never had the trust in the first place, it can't erode, can it? Darkcoin is constantly improving, and development is and will be going on a long time still. If everything was ready and finished, we wouldn't be at $3/coin. We're still early adopters and all.  I wouldnt touch it if someone cracked something. Privacy is no kids play. It can prove dangerous. Both these coins have been around for a year only, so the market is still very young
