721  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is the ticket to heaven ... on: July 05, 2017, 11:03:30 AM
nothing is impossible maan.... this is a new generation, with the money we can do anythings. we can do criminality or somethings for justice.
"Bitcoin can drive us to heaven? Are you kidding buddy?" Maybe some people assume like that but everything in the world is only tool.
The tools we choose, whether we use for good or evil. The star of evil only leads us into hell and vice versa.
Your choice is the path you choose, so please choose your own path!
Yes,just like internet, bitcoin could be used both for good and bad.Bitcoin being a wonderful technology could be both used for progress or for buying illegal goods.Earlier, bitcoin was used for illegal goods, but now it is mostly used as an investment.
722  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin Sound Money? on: July 05, 2017, 10:53:49 AM
Yes,bitcoin is sound money. It has become today popular all over the world. It is legalized in some countries. We could easily convert bitcoins into cash in any parts of the world.Since transaction fee is getting less once again,we could be able to buy any products immediately without any delay.Since bitcoin is decentralized,no governments or banks could devalue it.
723  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: We can't buy something with Bitcoin quickly on: July 05, 2017, 10:43:53 AM
For exemple, I go to a coffee shop, I buy a coffee, then I pay with Bitcoin, we have to wait for a confirmation, no? or the merchant will just trust me if I show my wallet?
How can we be sure that it's not a double spent transaction or something else?
It was a problem which existed earlier due to high transaction fee.But now things have started changing.Transactions are now confirmed very fast with even very low fees.Situations would change more if segwit is activated on august 1st.We could then be able to buy anything quickly.
724  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do you follow daily crypto news? on: July 05, 2017, 09:31:03 AM
We could get all the crypto related news from this official forum itself. If we want extra information,we could join any crypto related telegrams so that we would get regular updates.More over,we could check regularly websites like coin desk, etc which publishes details of newly released coins. We could check the coin marketcap website to get details about any altcoin's market cap.
725  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What are your plans with your Bitcoin? on: July 05, 2017, 09:20:06 AM
Hi guys Smiley May I know what are your plans on your Bitcoin in the future? Do you plan to keep on investing on Bitcoin related businesses or do plan to convert it into fiat and ventures on new business?

I'm planning to invest more on Bitcoin related companies and convert some of my Bitcoin into fiat and invest it on our local stock market. How about you?
My plan is earn more bitcoins by trading and participating in signature campaign and to join 21 BTC club as soon as possible.I hope that bitcoin price would soon go high in future.I don't have any idea of converting my bitcoins to cash.
726  Economy / Economics / Re: Reliable comparison between mining vs. buying and holding on: July 04, 2017, 11:53:16 AM
I constantly hear people arguing for mining as opposed to buying and holding or vice versa as better investment strategy - is there any reliable source of information that compares the two over an extended period of time?
Mining was an important source of earning bitcoins earlier when it was easily mined using CPU but now its not that easy.Mining is still profitable but for that, you have to invest to buy powerful ASICs and also, you have to check your local electricity charges for profitable mining. But for investing, you could even invest a small amount in bitcoins and hold it.In mining, you could be able to get a steady income. But in holding bitcoins, your earnings depends on the price variations in bitcoin.
727  Economy / Economics / Re: Do You Think Bitcoin Will Replace Dollar Soon? on: July 04, 2017, 11:39:34 AM
US dollar has been in its last stage as global reserve currency. It has enjoying this status from past 1940 when it made OPEC countries to agree to sell crude oil only for dollars. But bitcoin has just completed its initial eight years.Bitcoin has been predicted that it would be the world's sixth largest reserve currency in 2030.So it would take more than 15 years for bitcoin to replace dollar.
728  Economy / Economics / Re: Cashless society on: July 04, 2017, 11:32:49 AM
Its very hard to turn the world totally into cashless society. We could get lessons from what happened in india  and venezuela after banning of high value notes. They thought that all people would change to digital transactions. But it didnot happen.Despite suffering, people stayed using paper currency continuously.More people are still unaware of digital transactions. They don't even have a credit or debit card.So its hardly impossible to convert this world immediately into a cashless society.
729  Economy / Economics / Re: In event of your death on: July 04, 2017, 11:26:10 AM
I am wondering what provisions have you all made in case you die before cashing out your bitcoins? I am single, live alone and both my parents are deceased. My siblings dont care about any of this, however I would like my nieces and nephews to get some of my profits but they are still very young right now. I dont trust lawyers to give them my private keys. I am wondering, what can I do?
If your health is now worse, then its a critical issue. The only way i could see is that you can sell your bitcoins for cash and buy some properties in name of your nephews. That idea would work better.
730  Economy / Economics / Re: Selling Bitcoin = Opportunity loss?! on: July 04, 2017, 11:14:10 AM
Many posts discuss the possibility of exchange earnings with selling Bitcoin (and buy later). Other posts discuss the Bitcoin exchange rate, it seems that many agree there is a strong upward tendency and the volatility is hard to predict. It seems dat selling Bitcoin results in a serious probability of an opportunity loss. Selling Bitcoin can only be motivated by an (partial) exit. Do you agree?
Bitcoin is volatile in nature. It may increase or decrease as per the variations in demand. But we can clearly see that bitcoin is getting legalized in some countries.Mass adoption of bitcoin is taking place all over the world.Since transaction fee is once again getting reduced, more people would once again show interest in using bitcoins. So,bitcoin price would increase more.It may even cross $3000 within two months. So,selling bitcoin at this time would be an opportunity loss.
731  Economy / Speculation / Re: Could Bitcoin price increase to $1 Million one day? on: July 04, 2017, 06:49:08 AM
Some said it will.  What do you think?

(The estimated 2017 GDP in the US is $19.4 trillions.  If the price of a BTC increases to $1M, with 21M in total supply, the market cap would be $21 trillions.  Of course, the $19.4T is in present value and the $21T is in an unknown period of future value.)
It is possible. We could understand that if we had said that one bitcoin would be worth of @2900 in future when its price was just $1,they would have laughed at us saying that its highly impossible. But now that impossibility has become a reality. So,one day when most people know about bitcoins, there would be an ever increasing demand for bitcoins. But there would be no more new supply of bitcoins. So at that time, price of one bitcoin may become even a million.
732  Economy / Speculation / Re: price after segwit? on: July 04, 2017, 06:35:03 AM
If segwit is activated, then transactions would be confirmed very soon.Transaction fee would fall down as before.New companies and even retailers would start accepting bitcoin payment due to fast transactions. This would promote mass adoption of bitcoins and it would make bitcoin price to increase high.Even now itself,i am able to send my btc quickly for a transaction fee of 0.0004 btc which was previously 0.0007 btc before two weeks.
733  Economy / Speculation / Re: I have been waiting for Bitcoin to reach $3000 on: July 04, 2017, 06:25:33 AM
I have been waiting for Bitcoin to reach $3000 so that I can sell my Bitcoins, but seems as if it doesn't want to reach that value anytime soon. SHould I sell with the current amount? Undecided
Dont sell it.Just hold.We all too expected bitcoin to cross $3000 by this time. But when segwit will be activated on August 1st,it would definitely trigger the bitcoin price and bitcoin would cross $3000.So just wait a little more.
734  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Ladies and Gentlemen, Bitcoin is about to be Centralized on: July 03, 2017, 05:28:46 AM
It has been already tried by many before but they could not succeed.Roger ver and Jihan wu also tried a lot.We could see clearly that some of them would fail after August 1st.But such rumours would only make new investors get panic and we shall face small price drops in bitcoin temporarily.
735  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: [Russia] Burger King to accept Bitcoin this summer! on: July 03, 2017, 05:15:24 AM
Source: https://cointelegraph.com/news/burger-king-to-accept-bitcoin-in-russia-this-summer

So yeah, hopefully McDonald, Dominos pizza, and many others will follow after this. I thought that this kind of decisions are taken by the creators of the franchise but It looks like It's not since It's starting on Russia.
Thats  really a great news for bitcoin users and Burger eaters in Russia. We could hope that bitcoin would be accepted for buying pizzas and in Mc.Donalds and other restaurants in future.Thats a great progress since Russia, being a communist country started to regulate bitcoin. Two big communist nations China and Russia have started recognizing bitcoin.Soon other democratic and republic countries would start accepting bitcoin.
736  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Sending bitcoin without the miner fees ! on: July 03, 2017, 05:10:05 AM
So i was thinking if i send a bitcoin transaction without the miner fee or a very low fee what will happen ? would i get the coins back eventually ? or they will just stuck there forever ! and if that happened how to do that double spend ?
First of all, I wouldn't suggest that you do that because it is a very stupid idea.

If a transaction goes unconfirmed for too long, it will eventually disappear from the network. Most clients will remove it from their pool of unconfirmed transactions at some point. And yes, the money should return to your account. When most clients have removed it, you can go ahead and send the transaction again, if you wish and I would suggest to use a higher fee. There's not a precise time when the transaction will disappear from the network, it could be days or up to a week. This is why it's always recommended to set a transaction fee.

Yes.Don't try that especially in this period where there is huge number of transactions stuck. If you still send it without a fee or with a very low fee, then it may take even one or two weeks to get confirmed or else,it may return to your account.I had that experience when i forgot to set transaction fee manually in my electrum wallet and it took around two weeks to get confirmed.
737  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Resurrection of Satoshi Nakamoto on: July 03, 2017, 04:43:47 AM
I know (and can convince myself) that reappearance of Satoshi Nakamoto or disclosure of his identity will be when and exactly when 1 satoshi=1 dollar cent.
We don't even know whether he is still alive or not.Every bitcoin enthusiast would love to see him.But for that, the security of his life should not be compromised.I thinks he feels comfortable in hiding his identity and if so,then he would never reveal his identity.
738  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What if Governments Shutdown the Internet? on: July 03, 2017, 04:35:58 AM
If its possible for governments to ban bitcoin by shutting down internet, then by this time China and Russia would have done that.Instead, they have dropped their plan of banning bitcoin and have started to regulate bitcoin.Since bitcoin is a digital currency,it could not be used without access to internet.
739  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is BTC only for middle and upper economic class? on: July 03, 2017, 04:29:54 AM
hello..Please your opinion.

As we know that Bitcoin is being discussed right now and people hope in their country Bitcoin can be ratified as a legitimate transaction tool. But in my country, only about 3% are familiar with bitcoin. Is this because only the upper middle class knows the bitcoin, or is there any other cause? What about bitcoin in your place?
Bitcoin is created for the benefit of all people both rich and the poor. But today, unfortunately, due to the high increase in price, poor are no more able to buy a whole bitcoin.Only they coulkd do is to buy either 0.1 btc or 0.01 btc. Also due to the need for powerful ASICs to mine bitcoin, poor people are no more able to mine bitcoins.
740  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Confirmation became really fast, what has happened? on: July 03, 2017, 04:25:58 AM
Nowdays I've got used to the fact that bitcoin transactions were just hanging in the mempool for quite a long time, but today I just realized that something has happened.
I've started a transaction of 0,05 BTC (not a huge amount) with the possible lowest (and slowest) low-prio fee, and I thought that it will take days to get confirmed (or at least one day). The fee was about 0,0034... BTC (159 sat/byte).
In an hour (or less), it was confirmed, the first 4 confirmation was done in 15 minutes. I was totally surprised. I've checked the mempool later on, it has been settled, it seems. These are the first few weeks since the beginning of May when the mempool isn't full.
I don't know what has happened, but it seems promising. (Or not, if it's in connection with the August 1st deadline, but who knows... I don't, but if anybody knows, please help me to understand what is going on behing the scenes...)
The same thing happened to me also.I sent 0.02 btc from my electrum wallet to my localbitcoins account.usually i used to set 0.0007 btc for faster transaction. But this time,i set only 0.0005 btc as transaction fee.But surprisingly, the transaction was confirmed within twenty minutes.Thats really great.
