381  Economy / Economics / Re: Might not be a bad idea to sell off 5% of your stash.. on: November 14, 2017, 06:37:17 PM
And put up a buy at 4-8 fold under the current price.

BTC goes up and up from here you don't see that 5% jump.

BTC crashes as it likes to do, you seriously increase your position. Furthermore support is added at lower levels.

I wouldn't sell anything anymore... time to buy the dip was under $6000. Bitcoin seems to be holding pretty strong above $6000 now that the Bitcoin Cash spam attack is over. Mike Novoratz bought 20 million worth of BTC on this dip. Institutional money is coming with CME next month. It would be stupid to risk your position trying to scalp the price right now.

This is also my position. I'm willing to wait and see how much it would be worth by next year that I'd HODL. I tried selling during a peak before with the intention of buying back during a plunge but that didn't work out.
Since chaos due to bitcoin cash has ended, bitcoin is obviously now getting stronger. Also, more people ae now returning to bitcoin and so,its price may start rising.
382  Economy / Speculation / Re: Price Drops are only temporary right? on: November 12, 2017, 06:24:21 PM
I mean forks are there and if it goes over it it will increase price right?
Nowadays, forks are made not for the benefit of bitcoin, but for their own interests. The only benefit from a fork is for the buyer who waits to buy bitcoin on a price dip and due to panic selling before the fork, price falls and cheap bitcoins could be bought. But nowadays, this trend has changed and people buy more bitcoins before the hard forks to claim free coins and so,nowadays, bitcoin price rises before the hard fork.
383  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I'll never buy Bitcoin cash on: November 12, 2017, 06:18:06 PM
Ever, fuck you guys! Smiley

And I hope you realize as soon as Bitcoin cash fails to overthrow Bitcoin in this insane attack. It's going to get beat back down so hard.

*sorry for the low quality post.
Its already expected move.BCH supporters have tried their full limit to pump BCH and it seems that many big whales have started dumping their BCH which has lead to the price fall.Even most of bitcoin holders stunned on seeing BCH price rise. Now,once again its time to sell BCH and buy bitcoins once again.Very soon, bitcoin would prove that it only deserves to hold the crown.
384  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: BTC price prediction till Dec'17 on: November 12, 2017, 06:02:41 PM
At first,it was expected that bitcoin price would go very high. But then, due to china's actions against bitcoin exchanges, bitcoin price suffered a little. But soon,it recovered. Then when CME announced that it would release bitcoin futures, bitcoin price triggered to $7,500.It was expected that very soon, bitcoin price may cross $10,000.Then came the issue of segwit2x activation and it got cancelled. But again an issue of BCH pumped to very high price and now only, its price is falling. So,after surviving all of these issues.i hope that bitcoin price would cross $8500 by this year end.
385  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bithumb: Fake volume or not? on: November 12, 2017, 05:56:44 PM
Bithumb is the biggest local exchange which locate in Korea. Recently, most of the volume of bitcoin and bitcoin cash, as well as other cryptos, are extremely high here. The volume is somehow not true to me because I do not believe that Korean does care about crypto and the blockchain. What just happens? Do they become smarter?
Bithumb does not seem to be a reputed exchange. It allows zero fee trading. Also,it is said that it allows wash trading where simultaneous buying and selling of the same goods by the same person is carried out and price manipulation is heavily done. That might be one of the reason for increase in BCH price.Even coinmarketcap.com does not take its BCH price in to consideration.
386  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: how to play fast on trading ? on: November 12, 2017, 05:52:36 PM
can you explain this description (how to play fast in trading).?
because I am still a beginner (newbie) and want to learn from your experience all.
thx  Smiley
If you want to trade fastly, then you could even use trading bots where hundreds of buy and sell orders are processed very quickly. But i don't know exactly how efficient it would be.Just you have to set the buy and sell limit and then it executes trade as per the command. There would be no human errors in this method such as typing wrong amounts like 0.01 instead of 0.001,etc.But remember,it too needs some manual supervision.
387  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Minimum coin to begin trading? on: November 12, 2017, 05:46:53 PM
There is no such minimum amount mentioned strictly in any trading platform. If you have $100,then you could start trading with it.Starting with a small amount is good for trading because even if you face loss due to lack of experience, then too it would be only very little. But after gaining prior experience, invest more since you would be getting only low profit with a smaller investment.
388  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Amazon accepting Bitcoin - What can go wrong? on: November 12, 2017, 05:36:54 PM
If amazon accepts bitcoin, then it would make bitcoin more popular and familiar among new people.By this way, amazon too could get new customers who opt to pay only in bitcoins. It would be a hassle free payment system and could be done from anywhere. If amazon accepts bitcoin payments, then more companies would keep trust over bitcoins and would start accepting bitcoins which would bring bitcoin in to the mainstream.
389  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin Futures Sparks Fears For Financial Crisis on: November 12, 2017, 05:29:11 PM
Many felt happy since the bitcoin price reached $7500 immediately after CME announced that it would release bitcoin futures. They are just seeing its price increase. But here, bitcoin would be traded in contracts which is cash settled.here, there is no need to deliver immediately bitcoin and it could be given even at the expiry period. So,speculators could easily manipulate the market. It may lead to crisis which occurred in tulip which happened in the 1600s.
390  Economy / Economics / Re: Which country will be the first to legalize Bitcoin? on: November 12, 2017, 05:22:00 PM
Japan has already legalized bitcoin. Many other countries like australia are also friendly to bitcoin and might legalize in future. At first, vietnam was in an idea of legalizing bitcoin, but suddenly changed its decision and banned bitcoin.Same is the case with south korea also.India has not still made its stand clear. But in future,we may expect many countries to legalize bitcoin.
391  Economy / Economics / Re: 99% of the people still think that fiat money are better than crypto on: November 12, 2017, 05:11:43 PM
I was talking with a friend of mine about cryptocurrencies and he said:
"Cryptocurrencies are anonymous?Nothing on the internet is anonymous.Having a bunch of dollars or euro in the pocket is the most anonymous way to store money. Grin"
Damn, now i think that he is right and fiat money are still way more convenient ,despite all the inflation, banks monopoly and control. From my personal experiense 99% of the people refuse to believe in bitcoin and refuse to adopt it in their daily life.Any opinions?
They are traditional people who think that money could be saved unknown to any one and they feel that having a digital currency using internet means that it could be known to anyone using internet. The only thing that bitcoin lacks is that still it has not been widely accepted as payment in any retail shops which would have otherwise made it much popular. That's why, they prefer fiat currency.
392  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Coinmarketcap and denial of reality on: November 12, 2017, 01:18:28 PM
Bithumb does not seems to be a legit exchange. It is said that it allows wash trading in which same stock or assets are bought and sold repeatedly by the same person and by this way, artificial activity is shown and price is manipulated. Its said that it was the main reason for such a high pump in BCH price. That's why,Coinmarketcap has not taken bithumb's price in to consideration.
393  Economy / Speculation / Re: effect of BCH in BTC price on: November 11, 2017, 11:43:03 PM
Looks like a pump and dump scheme is being used on BCH now. I can't find any other explanation to it.
Yes,BCH is just pumped and dumped by its supporters and its really a shocking experience to see that BCH has reached such a high price. Its immediately happening after segwit2x cancellation. It clearly shows the collaberation between BCH team and S2X team.It is just done to devalue the brand bitcoin and replace it with BCH.
394  Economy / Trading Discussion / Wash Trading on: November 11, 2017, 11:38:12 PM
Wash trading is an activity where same stocks are bought and sold simultaneously by the investor showing artificial trade activity leading to price manipulation. It is said that Bithumb,a korean exchange is said to allow wash trading where BCH is most highly traded. It is said that it is the main reason for BCH price getting pumped this much high.Has bitcoin community faced a similar situation in which wash trading was carried out on some exchanges?
395  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is the answer? Should we just HODL? Has Bitcoin been under attack before? on: November 11, 2017, 11:25:21 PM
BCH trading is mainly pumped in korean exchanges especially in Bithumb exchange. It allows zero fee trading. Also,it is said that it allows wash trading in which the same financial instruments are bought and sold simultaneously which shows artificial activity in the market and price manupulation is done easily.
396  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Cash fork and its effects on Bitcoin on: November 11, 2017, 11:18:12 PM
wait.  What?  The cash fork happened  august 1st.

what fork are you referencing?  Did I miss something?  Huh
They term it as a fork within the previously forked coin itself Grin Grin Grin.I think that its a soft fork and not a hard fork as thought by its holders. So,no free coins could be expected from this fork. So,it has nothing to do with bitcoin price.
397  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If every bitcoiner owns bitcoin cash, why all the fuss? on: November 11, 2017, 11:15:20 PM
Bitcoin cash is created by a hard fork and it would not be able to replace bitcoin. The people who created BCH were not trust worthy.Promoting BCH is not good for bitcoin progress. They just want to snatch the crown from bitcoin. If they succeed in it,then bitcoin would get completely centralized and they would start doing changes whatever they wish.BCH is a creation of bitcoin antichrist Roger ver.
398  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I am scared on: November 11, 2017, 05:15:49 PM
Dear fellow bitcoiners,

Now, I am fucking scared.

You should be scared.  What Blockstream did to BTC is scary.  Thankfully Jesus saves.  And this time again, Jesus did just that.  Jesus saved Bitcoin by preserving the original system - which is now called 'Bitcoin Cash'.  SegWit Bitcoin is dying.

Just remember, you can always rely on Jesus.  Bitcoin Jesus!!!
Nonsense. The person you are terming as bitcoin jesus Roger ver has much earlier turned in to Bitcoin antichrist. So you advice to trust and follow antichrist and invest in his satanic creation bitcoin cash.Only the truth will prevail. No body could deny the point that BCH is just being pumped.
399  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Bit coin scam on: November 11, 2017, 05:11:31 PM
I also got scammed once when i was trying to buy a digital product and he just went offline after receiving my bitcoins. The only wrong thing i did was that i did not used an escrow.

Don't ever invest in any company which announces that it would double your bitcoin investment in one month or less than that.Such scams are frequent nowadays. They mostly target newbies who do not have enough knowledge.
400  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Altcoin trading on: November 11, 2017, 12:11:43 PM
Its usually said that small amount is enough to start trading since if there is loss,it would be little. As your investment is small, you would be able to buy well established older coins. So,you would have to choose recently released coins which are performing well. But since your investment is low, your profits would also be low. So,as you get some idea and experience about this crypto market, invest a little more and continue trading.
