841  Economy / Economics / Re: volatility and transaction fees... on: June 12, 2017, 02:25:06 PM
i think these things overtime will make bitcoin not as valuable.. plus the fact banks (while hated by most), have hundreds of years of reputation behind them and are easy to access... Just reading and learning about the ins and outs of bitcoin make my head hurt and I'm fairly saavy when it comes to most tech
Definitely volatility and transaction fees are two issues in bitcoin.Volatility makes many countries to think twice before accepting bitcoin as legal payment. But volatility is its nature. It could not be changed.Higher transaction fees would make new companies drop their plans of accepting bitcoin payment.
842  Economy / Economics / Re: Do You Think Bitcoin Will Replace Dollar Soon? on: June 12, 2017, 02:17:12 PM
No it would take long time for bitcoin to replace dollar.Bitcoin has been the global reserve currency. It is in the end span of being the global reserve currency. But still it is universally accepted and bitcoin is not universally accepted every where.Bitcoin is still not legalized in many countries.
843  Economy / Economics / Re: bitcoin benefit of saving for a long time? on: June 12, 2017, 02:11:19 PM
why so many people store their bitcoin in their wallet for a long time, whether the benefits will they get?

Come share your thoughts

They just have started to save bitcoins just like gold. They save gold since it is a secured investment even though it does not give high profits. But they have started to save bitcoins because it gives them very huge returns but at the same time,it is also a secured investment since it works on a secured block chain system.
844  Economy / Speculation / Re: Can bitcoin hit 3500$ in 2018?  ??? on: June 12, 2017, 12:29:38 PM
Can bitcoin hit 3500$ in 2018?
I just wondering if bitcoin hits 3500$ in 2018 what would you do?
Me i will just keep holding in my bitcoin cause i believe that bitcoin can quadriple its value a couple of years from now.
Thats a wise decision.I too would do the same just hold bitcoin instead of selling for fewer profits.Bitcoin price would even reach $4000 by 2018.It would not be just a speculation but the truth. It has already tripled in its price within last six months and so $4000 by 2018 is not impossible.
845  Economy / Speculation / Re: what's best time to invest in bitcoin ? on: June 12, 2017, 12:24:15 PM
Hello Guys ,

I am new here & i want to Know what's best times for invest in Bitcoin ? Grin Grin

i'll buy buck amount of Bitcoins , so i want to know the best time for buy  Wink Wink
The most best time would had been on 2017 beginning when bitcoin price fell down to $800 due to BU and hard fork issues. That was the lowest bitcoin rate within the last six months. But this is also best time to invest since bitcoin price is steadily increasing. If you didn't buy now bitcoin feeling that price is buy,you may have to buy the same bitcoin at $3500.
846  Economy / Marketplace / Re: How can we encourage local businesses to accept BTC? on: June 11, 2017, 10:51:00 AM
I am looking to help move BTC forward into our economy more and would like to get some suggestions on how we can get more retailers to accept BTC as a payment.  The best part about accepting BTC is that they do not have any threat of charge-back from the customer.  I am just looking for some more input before I start approaching some of these local retailers.
First we should explain them history of bitcoin ,its functioning in block chain and how it is secured briefly. Then we should explain them that bitcoin transactions could not be reversed unlike paypal and so its safe for merchants. We should say that by just downloading a wallet and by scanning the QR code by even smart phone. It should also be said that if we earn bitcoin as payment instead of fiat,it has chance of increasing since bitcoin price is increasing continuously.
847  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Where to invest my Bitcoins? on: June 11, 2017, 10:43:04 AM
Hi,

Hope I posted in the right board and totally new to this investing bitcoins.

I got under 0.1 bitcoin lending on poloniex but rates are too low for a good return.

Where is the best place to Invest bitcoins with the best returns and lowest risk?

Thanks,
The best and legit way is that you can invest in good altcoins and start trading.Trading is risky.Better start with 0.01 btc and gain good experience to invest more.I am not suggesting you cloud mining sites since most of them turn out to be scam nowadays.
848  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin or Altcoin? on: June 11, 2017, 07:18:55 AM
While Bitcoin there are a few scaling options, it appears that a number of Bitcoin investors have been switching to Altcoins, and may not switch back to Bitcoins any time soon .
What will happen if investors continuously switch to altcoins? Will bitcoin crash ?
I don't think that people with good knowledge about cryptos would switch to altcoins. If they are doing so,absolutely they are doing a wrong thing.Bitcoin price has been gradually increasing and no more manipulation is found in bitcoin.Today's bitcoin price expresses its true value. But Altcoins donot express so.Even if there is an increase in altcoins price,we should know that it is being pumped and investors in it would loose their money soon when it would be dumped.Altcoins have no special features to attract bitcoin investors.Only very few of them are legit.
849  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do you like best about bitcoin? on: June 11, 2017, 07:09:36 AM
At first,i started using bitcoins for sending my earnings from abroad very quickly at very low transaction fee. Then i came to know that bitcoin works on superior block chain system which is responsible for secured functioning.I was very much admired by the decentralized nature of bitcoins in which bitcoins are sent P2P without involving any banks.Despite the efforts of many bankers and governments to destroy bitcoin, bitcoin has survived and it is a revolution in the world economy.
850  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What are your thoughts for Bitcoin in 2017? on: June 11, 2017, 07:02:11 AM
Bitcoin price has gone beyond OP's prediction of $2000 and its around $2800 that too within five months.2017 would be a great year for bitcoin. No more chinese manipulation.Mass adoption of bitcoin all over the world.More countries coming forward to regulate bitcoin following Japan.Hope India, the second largest populated country too would soon join this list.Bitcoin price could cross $3500 by the end of this year.
851  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin to negative thinkers and innocent minds. Prove to them! on: June 11, 2017, 05:30:28 AM
People have already seen lots of scam projects. They would have been tired of trying those things. So they naturally have a bad impression about new schemes, new offers for earnings. So,if you go to them and say about bitcoin, they would definitely doubt that.We could not blame them for that.Rather,we should try to explain what bitcoin is,how it has revolutionized the world economy, what we have achieved from it in our life personally.Gradually their doubts would come down and they would slowly start to show interest in bitcoin.
852  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Does regulating bitcoins is necessary for global adoption? on: June 11, 2017, 05:14:00 AM
Bitcoin is a decentralized currency uncontrolled by any one.Hence it has gained attention all over the world. But still its investors always have a doubt that what would happen if their governments ban bitcoin suddenly. We saw similar condition in china when people got scarred that PBOC could ban bitcoin. It created a great price fall in bitcoin. But for mass adoption of bitcoin, regulation is necessary. We could see after Japan has legalized and regulated bitcoin, its demand has increased considerably and its price too.But bitcoin investors could no more enjoy tax free earnings if it occurs. But only after regulation, bitcoin would gain full recognition globally.

Can bitcoin hit 3500$ in 2018?
I just wondering if bitcoin hits 3500$ in 2018 what would you do?
Me i will just keep holding in my bitcoin cause i believe that bitcoin can quadriple its value a couple of years from now.

If you really believe in the future of bitcoin since you have words like that then just wait and no need to asked questions like this as no one will know what will happen. Be optimist since you have reason to become like that.

Reaching $2,000 is on questioned way back year/s if that can happened in just few years. There are others speculations also that it will reached by 2020 but it didn't happened and it  happened early. That same event can applied to your question so just stick with that since you will only do hold.
Bitcoin would reach $3500 even before 2017 end.Mass adoption of bitcoin is btaking place and it is one of the main reason for this price increase.
854  Economy / Speculation / Re: Should I sell? on: June 07, 2017, 02:05:29 PM
Bitcoin price is soaring. Its price trajectory is extremely steep. I fear that the Bitcoin price bubbles is reaching its point of yield. What is mean is, that such steep ascents in anything are rarely sustainable. I am going to sell my coins fairly soon. What do you all think?
Dont sell.Just hold.Bitcoin journey has just begun.Yet it has more turning points to come.Bitcoin price is now around $2800.Soon it would reach $5000.So no wise person would sell bitcoins now.
855  Economy / Speculation / Re: what will bitcoin be worth in 5 years {2020} ? on: June 07, 2017, 01:57:00 PM
If you ask from me then I will say that watching the current rally, $10k is also looking small for price of 1 bitcoin in year 2020.
And I hope the support and the bullish behaviour never ends and bitcoin will be the new money that the world will be using.
Sure,if bitcoin continues to rise in this speed,it would definitely cross $10,000 by 2020.Bitcoin has created a revolution in the world economics. It seems that it would still continue in the bullish trend.

Already many best times have gone.If you miss this time also, you have to regret.Bitcoin price is now around $3000.Then you have to buy when bitcoin price would be at $5000.Don't miss the train.
857  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Real life usage of bitcoin on: June 07, 2017, 06:53:13 AM
Don't you think price blast not correlate with its real life usage since its inception?

Its hoarded for speculative purpose but how many major cities in the world have even its ATM?

I mean we all the time correlate its value with fiat currency then buy/take then what's its purpose in my day to day life?

Who will accept it in store when confirmation time is so long.
Definitely, long confirmation time would make merchants to not promote bitcoin acceptance. In japan, bitcoin usage for day to day needs have come true.Let us hope some solution would be found to fix this issue.
858  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why bitcoin is not supported in some countries? on: June 07, 2017, 06:47:43 AM
I have heard that bitcoin is not supported in some countries. But why ? Is it because bitcoin is risky ? Some countries even declare 6 months jail if her people use bitcoin. Is it fair ? I mined few cryptos and have left mining. It was fun and challenging too. But I never got any clear answer. What does my gpu actually do ? I pay electric bill, my room temperature goes high and I get paid. With actually no skill on pc hardware and software. Whole thing is still pretty unclear to me
In bangladesh, even imprisonment is given to persons if found using bitcoins. Some countries fear that bitcoin would be used for buying illegal products. They also fear that they would loose their revenues which they got from taxes.
859  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Small fortune, now which country ? on: June 07, 2017, 06:44:47 AM
Guys, i made a small fortune in altcoin/bitcoin. In which country should i settle ?
I have no wife, no kids, just a girlfriend, iŽm free to go wherever i want (sheŽll go with me).
But it has to be a bitcoin-friendly country.
I have no intention to buy lambos, just a peaceful life.
Thanks.

Oh, and my age is 53, that makes a difference too.
I heard that switzerland has become a bitcoin friendly country. So you could settle there as its full of tourist spots.Or else, you could try an european country which provides tax exemption for bitcoins.
860  Economy / Speculation / Re: What could cause price of bitcoin to crash?? on: June 07, 2017, 06:41:42 AM
So in past bubbles it was:
1. collapse of biggest exchange Mt GoX.
2. "Bans of bitcoin in China"
3. ...

What could happen now to cause price crash? I mean, exchanges are so mature now and there are a lot of them, that failure of one exchange wouldn't cause big price drop.
What do you think can cause price of bitcoin to crash?

If a collapse occurs for a big exchange like poloniex as it occured early in Mt.Gox,then definitely bitcoin price would crash. But we could hope that such incidents would not happen another time.
