781  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: SP30 Yukon Bitcoin: output in pools on: August 06, 2014, 07:26:54 AM
Are you asking for a recommendation of a certain pool or a payout / difficulty forecast for September?
782  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [ANN] Spondoolies-Tech - carrier grade, data center ready mining rigs on: August 06, 2014, 07:16:55 AM
As there was a question about this yersterday:

My sp30 seems to be pretty much exactly at 4.5TH (and quite stable at that hashrate now, I didn´t see any psu recalibrating in the last 24h).

If I pointed it to gh, I might get an additional 50-100GH out of it but at this time I am not doing that.

If any of you have recently looked into the hosting thread, you might have seen that I am going to ship some sp30s to jtoomim´s hosting facility.

I can also confirm that the sp30 works very well on p2pool.
783  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Official BITMINE CoinCraft series 28nm ASIC miners thread on: August 06, 2014, 07:08:44 AM
Has anyone received a refund recently ? via bitcoin or wire transfer ?

I would like to hear if Bitmine is actively trying to refund customers money.
I received a letter acknowledging my refund request on June 6th , 2014 for order #4036

They owe me approximately 6 BTC
I think they have stated thet they will pe processing remaining refunds after they have their Iceland datacenter equipped with units.

These units are available for cloudhashing and the unsold rest will likely remain in the posession of bitmine, where they will be able to generate some income.

I think they have offered to also let you use your owed funds including the 10% penalty towards a cloudhashing contract.

Mid August seems to be the target for availability of cloudhashing.

...2nd September batch can be delivered on time.
2nd September batch will be shipped in the 2nd half of September. We'll ship on time.
Is there any word on when RoadStress' GroupBuy will begin shipping?  Vague schedules make planning excruciatingly difficult. Perhaps you all have some sort of clarity on this by now?  Any word is appreciated.

yeah inquiring minds want to know...
After August 11th.

Use this guide. You can also choose to set fans at 90% as it will increase hashrate at higher ambient temperatures.

Can someone (or ST) please tell me the best voltage settings for the SP10 on 208v.  Should I just set it to Turbo? Or should I set it some other way? thanks in advance...
Is it a May batch unit?
788  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [ANN] Spondoolies-Tech - carrier grade, data center ready mining rigs on: August 05, 2014, 02:50:26 PM
The hosting isn´t limited to 6 months, the minimum contract length is 6 months though.

It will probably also be easier to find cheap bitcoin hosting deals within the US than anywhere else in the world.
789  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [ANN] Spondoolies-Tech - carrier grade, data center ready mining rigs on: August 05, 2014, 01:35:26 PM
Shipping cost is 300$ as far as I can remember.

I would be impressed if you were able to host your miner under 13ct/kw/h in the UK though.

Also keep in mind that you will have to pay VAT if you import into the UK, which you won´t have to when using the hosting deal.
790  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: H/w Hosting Directory & Reputation on: August 05, 2014, 07:24:34 AM
I got a very nice video tour of jtoomim´s hosting facility and had the chance to chat with him a little.

It looks like they have thought of everything relevant to mining, internet access and cooling.

I decided to send some of my sp30s there and will be able to write up a short review once my units are shipped and the mining facility is built out.
791  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [ANN] Spondoolies-Tech - carrier grade, data center ready mining rigs on: August 05, 2014, 07:16:03 AM
Atleast we seem to be seeing some low difficulty jumps, so that should add nicely to the return for sp30 customers.

Sorry to hear that your unit is still not online roadstress, mine has been mining since the 30th.

Possible delays in shipping (outside the control of spondoolies) was one of the reasons why I chose to have the first unit hosted with them.
792  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [ANN] Spondoolies-Tech - carrier grade, data center ready mining rigs on: August 03, 2014, 08:23:39 PM
Strangly the unit seems to have been more stable on p2pool than on a regular pool.

The 24h average for the first pic was right around 4450 to 4500

The second one was around 4200 to 4450.

I am not complaining about the recieved hashrate, I was just trying to give Zvi some idea of the unit performance.
What the data seems to suggest is that the unit became less stable after the first 24 hour mining period. (which seems counterintuitive)
793  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [ANN] Spondoolies-Tech - carrier grade, data center ready mining rigs on: August 03, 2014, 07:59:11 PM

It is normal in the first day.
Let's see how it settles down. Should stop restarting.
The quoted stats are from the second day of mining.

The unit was in fact online more than 24hours before the "yesterday" stats were recorded.

Here are the detailed stats:

Mining on p2pool. (above)

Mining on normal pool (the one the sp10 from previously was connected to aswell).

@ compensation debate:

Obviously the decrease in hashrate will be compensated appropriatly.

(although I agree that Guy and ST beat the drum very hard claiming "at least 6TH" and it said 6TH on the website for quite a while)

I even remember getting an email update that claimed every sp30 will now get 6 TH, so yeah, that should really be the basis for compensation (atleast for units sold after that email).

The 60% worse power efficiency (not the 17% increase from 2500 to 3000W as Searing put it) needs to be appropriatly compensated aswell.
795  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [ANN] Spondoolies-Tech - carrier grade, data center ready mining rigs on: August 03, 2014, 12:17:51 PM
@ Zvisha

Posted some 24hour stats, sp30 above, for comparison an sp10 at another DC on the same pool below.

Unfortunately there was a short ddos until the target was taken offline, so ignore the red marked area.

You can clearly see the frequent restarts of the sp30 by the drop in hashrate. I am not exactly sure what the 24-hour average hashrate at the pool is.
796  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [ANN] Spondoolies-Tech - carrier grade, data center ready mining rigs on: August 02, 2014, 07:26:18 AM
Spondoolies can you estimate when the first August units will be shipped / hosted?
797  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [ANN] Spondoolies-Tech - carrier grade, data center ready mining rigs on: August 01, 2014, 06:15:02 PM
nice so we get august units in September  Angry Angry Angry

Not really, shipping for the groupbuy should start mid August.

DHL express shipment takes pretty much exactly 2 days from door to door.
798  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [ANN] Spondoolies-Tech - carrier grade, data center ready mining rigs on: August 01, 2014, 05:47:52 PM
Groupbuy units will likely ship at the middle of the month.

Other units will be delivered before, such as single units, August bundles and the farmes choice.

I think he primarily does chip integration, so he might be a potential customer for spondoolies (of chips that is).
