381  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin puzzle transaction ~32 BTC prize to who solves it on: October 05, 2023, 01:15:48 PM
I could create hundreds of scripts that match the puzzle, but the creator most likely edited the keys manually, otherwise random would be used instead of pre-generated HD wallets.

haven't you learned to quote properly?

It is not manually it is with some script, errors = ZERO

A BRC-20 token called Sats which launched earlier this year finally finished minting all their tokens.

I wonder what if thet start to mint another shittoken  Roll Eyes Huh

If they alrady made some profit with previous experiment, do you believe that they will stop there?
383  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin puzzle transaction ~32 BTC prize to who solves it on: October 04, 2023, 11:18:55 PM

What the creator should do is send 1 btc to me🤣...

Seriously speaking, the creator must reveal the solved puzzles that were emptied, because what do we know if, for example, the puzzles are not in the range we believe? If he had a mistake when creating 256 puzzles (he corrected it, years later), he could having made the mistake of putting some keys in other ranges, or worse still it could be a big joke and he himself has emptied the last unrevealed puzzles to buy a Ferrari🤪.

hahaha two bad jokes in a single post, bravo.

How can you say that the chances are nearly zero?

This process can be automatized and the probabilities of error are zero after some tests.

Maybe i am wrong, but never forget, some Guys have think the Enigma is unbreakable, till some other Guys SHOW THE "Proof of Free Thinking" ... out of the BOX.

This is a little misleading, the enigma works in some kind of Security through Obscurity think in enigma like a close Source Encryption algorithm this algorithm wasn't reviewed by the community.

On the other hand all the steps in bitcoin have been reviewed by the community and have strong approval of it.

It's true that ECDSA has no proof of its complexity,  but if you review it you may notice that all the information of the private Key is lost in the process of Double and add (Scalar multiplication)

So basically you are comparing oranges and apples.

Not to mention all other steps in the address creation, sha256 and rmd160, all of them one way functions.

Saludos!

393  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What is cheapest way to buy Bitcoin? on: October 04, 2023, 03:23:05 AM
P2P rates and fee’s usually doesn’t consume above 7% unless the order price being set by P2P user on your currency is very high on the average price of Bitcoin.

Agree, it alone doesn't consume that amount but i mean all the process fees (Bank fees, exchange fees, network feess)

Question for OP, are you ready for KYC?

I know this and it is not a problem for me, once than send the balance to my Non-custodial wallet (sparrow) i can use the some mixer.

Bitget exchange also offers p2p. You should check that too.

Thank you i am going to check it.

P2P on CEX sucks. You want to try and get contacts of dealers direct, build trust, then p2p direct (literally).

Build up first with CEX traders or find out local forums, usually they do online money exchange in Asia but also have BTC.

Where are you from? This can help.

I know that p2p on those sites sucks, that is why i am trying to find alternatives

I am from mexico btw...

Another suggestion is to offer a service or sell an item and ask the client or customer to pay you in Bitcoin if they don't mind. This way you do not lose any part of it on transaction fee.

Yes I'm considering it, i will try some of it maybe in some month or two, first i need to deal with some personal stuff.

Trust-wallet to Trust-wallet
Binance-ID to Binance-ID

I completed this type of small transaction few days ago You can visit the thread if you want for in details.

Thank you i am going to try something like that. thanks.

You have put yourself in the radar of these people by showing interest to know the cheapest way to buy bitcoins, so you have to be careful.

Thank you again I am pretty aware of that, in telegram i deal with that people all the time, i know more or less their tactics..

OP, one thing to show you about the comparison of fees between exchanges that I've seen, maybe if you want to review it here: Topic: Crypto exchanges comparison [trade fee + listing fee + age + mobile app + more!]

Good thanks, i am going to read it right now.

What... How can you lose 7% to 10% on the network fees and transaction costs.. Buddy, can you please elaborate as far as I know it cant cost that much.. While transferring from the custodial wallet to a centralized exchange or even if the exchange has some fixed withdrawal fees it still cant be 7%.

I am going to put two examples:

On August 14, 2023 I buy 314 USD in bitcoin on CEX blockchain.com but they charge 14 USD for the purchase (I pay with bank card), And when i withdraw it from the CEX to my non-custodial wallet the amount was reduced to 280 USD

Another was yesterday, I buy near 56 USD in my local currency on P2P in binance.com when i check the amount of bitcoin in current price it was only 53 USD, but when i send it to my non-custodial wallet it was only 51 USD

I believe you unwanted and mistakenly Ignore that board.

You are right this was the issue. Thank you
395  Other / Meta / i can't quote in a topic that I started on: October 04, 2023, 12:52:24 AM
I am trying to quote some messages to this topic that i started: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5468949.0

But all that I get is this error.

I also try to reply to it and  manually quoting in the form page to post a reply and nothing works.

Is this an issue on my side or some kind of limitation?

Another strange thing that I notice is that the topic doesn't appear in the list of  "Show the last topics started by this person."
396  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is the ultimate shitcoin for having a useless mining algorithm. on: October 03, 2023, 11:33:22 PM
I get you troll, but when Bitcoin was made, it wasn't meant to do scientific stuff. It was made to be a new kind of money without needing a middleman.

His main focus was to solve the double-spending, quoting the bitcoin whitepaper

Quote
We propose a solution to the double-spending problem using a peer-to-peer network

There is not reference to "advance science" in any place on the paper.

398  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Satoshi's first tweet since 2018? on: October 03, 2023, 02:55:03 AM

399  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What is cheapest way to buy Bitcoin? on: October 03, 2023, 12:23:21 AM
Thank you for your advice, i will try it the next time

If you can buy via peer to peer its the best for you but ensure you are very careful so you don't scammed.

Well when i said P2P it was the Binance P2P, i have more than 30 transacction in that p2p network and it works well, i hope to keep that Good luck.

Is there other sugestion for this?
