Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What to do with spam and scam tokens on my wallet?

Just ignore them spam tokens or change of wallet.
Do not interact with these unwanted tokens in any way, such as trading, transferring, or approving transactions related to them. Interacting with these tokens may lead to further losses or complications.
If the unwanted tokens are causing significant issues and you are concerned about your wallet's security, you may want to consider creating a new wallet.
Search for a wallet software that allow you to hide those tokens

Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Gives the poor an Opportunity.

Yeah this whole uneducated thing is nonsense. Everyone's going to learn whatever they want from the internet and believe in whatever opinions are being written on the internet whether or not they have gone to school.
@NotATether I totally agree with you, that everyone with a minimal education and internet access can learn anything that they want, all depends of their willness and motivation. I was talking of really iliteracy people, those who can't read or write https://worldpopulationreview.com/country-rankings/literacy-rate-by-countryThe relationship between literacy and poverty Poverty and illiteracy tend to go hand-in-hand. Education is often less available in poverty-stricken areas. Moreover, even when education is available, a struggling family might need their children to work and earn money instead of going to school. Most of the countries with the lowest literacy are located in South Asia, West Asia, and sub-Saharan Africa—regions which also include most of the poorest countries in the world.
Of the roughly 781 million adults worldwide who cannot read or write, nearly two-thirds are female.
But i don't think that it is a "nonsense" Not true, I am an example of uneducated person, but I know bitcoin
@digaran at least you have access to internet also you know how to read and write right? My point was for people who don't even know how to read, those are clear uneducated. https://www.zippia.com/advice/how-many-people-use-the-internet/#:~:text=38%25%20of%20the%20world's%20population,the%20internet%2C%20As%20of%202022. 38% of the world’s population still doesn’t use the internet, As of 2022.

Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: interesting article: Pay-to-use blockchains will never achieve mass adoption
|
on: September 25, 2023, 03:23:01 AM

In the article they are talking about Pay-to-use blockchain, that is some kind of private/centralized blockchain. Blockchain projects should learn from Google and Facebook by monetizing their users without directly asking for their money. The blockchain projects that they are talking is about those private/centralized blockchains For example some Blockchain projects from IBM: https://www.ibm.com/blockchainThe article that you point to compares the need of those private/centralized blockchains where the users need some subscription fee to be able to use it or access to that data. Against services like facebook or google that offer some "free service" where the data of their users is the real value for those businesses. But that is like compare apples and pineapples

I think he talks about how if these two pools are combined it is more than 51% that can be used to attack the network.
Well, that may depend of the agenda of each miner, most of them are there just for profit, So i don't see them attaking the network or something like that. They may monopolize the blockchain yes!. Thay may let a lot of other miner's blocks orphan, well yes a 51% can do that.. But a 51% can't move balance for one wallet to another without having those wallet's privatekeys, they can't create more coints than the mined coins limit, they can't change the consesus rules or anything like that. I'm not an expert, i know that 51% "attack" is bad, but is not the worse right? I think that there should be a topic for that more detailed, please if somebody have that link put it here. Regards!

What is task : find math solution for finding the privatekey , you can use lattice, or other ( no bsgs, no pollard no index, no brute force) you can use only transactions values ( k1,k2 and privatekey is only for testing knowledge)
I have an answer for you, There is no known way to obtain that value/equation. That should break ECDSA For what you are asking 2000$ USD is a little, minimum reward amount should be 20 million of bitcoins or at least all the balance on address with more than two spends This remember me the fake puzzle of Bitcoin puzzle (3,350.00 BTC's )

Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Using change addresses does not increase privacy, just fees
|
on: September 22, 2023, 11:54:20 PM

Acutally using a change address, is the way that you need to use to get your change back, so if one of your UTXO is 1 Bitcoin and you only need to send 0.5 Bitcoin, What are you goint to use to get your change Back to you? Of couse a Change address, it can be the same of the source of a new one Address if you ask me i prefer to use a different address each time. But that depend only of your preference
In any CASE you NEED use one Change Address i mean the extra 50 bytes for the extra output will be payed even if the change address is the same than the source address or not
The only way to not use a change addres is when you made a transaction without change.
