Since WC is underperforming its expected "skyrocket" price, people are going back to BC. As a result, WC price is dropping.

I really wish people would at least keep comments like this off the boards. Far more creative ways to either love or hate a coin. The Blackcoin Hitler Video was awesome. This is just lame, and honestly shows lack of creativity from the poster.
I don't even know what to make of it other than his racist and insulting play on words... No matter what race you are. I personally am white and still find this offensive.

Stop this unethical pumping right now!
This is not necessarily unnatural. We hit bottom and the price is rebounding. There were hundreds of btc added in buy orders between 20-27K today...this was gonna happen as the sellers eventually ran out of btc to sell at this price and the price increases. Also keep in mind that just like after our crash a couple weeks ago other alts rose in price since profits from bc flowed to new opportunities...well now there are a lot of profits from DRK looking for new opportunities. |

I don't think it is artificial though, hundreds of btc in buy orders stacked up today down to 20K. Looks like lots of people were hoping for a lower price to enter or re-enter. And now the price is rising, so if those guys want to get BC they'll have to raise their orders. |

how about this as a draft for an email to mintpal: Hello Mintpal-Team,
the BlackCoin community has been asking for an own pair (BC/DOGE mostly) for quite a while now. The reactions, if at all, where at best half-hearted.
BlackCoin/the BlackCoin community has lead to a major increase in volume on Mintpal, but instead of "rewarding" that with an own pair for the by far most important coin on your platform, you chose to add clones and copies w/o any poll.
Although most of us do like and prefer your platform, many of the active BlackCoin community members think about leaving, please think about your recent politics before you lose our trust.

One of many BlackCoin supporters. Corrections welcome, my English is quite terrible.... But i think it's possible to figure out the point. This is a bit too much, I guess. It almost sounds like blackmail. When I was in charge of mintpal and I was planning to give BC it's own pairs, I just didn't do it, after recieving this mail. Further would it be better, when signed by the dev-team. dunno, how is it too much? they ignore us AND add BC clones while they do. I did never evn receive an answer when suggesting things, so what would be the worst thing that can happen... I would suggest we don't threaten them..for one thing people dont respond well to threats and second, I don't even know if we can back up that threat. Many people will leave mintpal for cryptsy? I think a better approach is to just keep requesting it. One thing Mintpal has shown by quickly adding the imitation coins is that they love the benjamins and will chase volume. So just keep showing them that there is a lot of interest in BC pairs. Also remember that they did give 50,000 BC to help us get on CoinKite (at the time that was 5 BTC...) |

This is amazing news!!! Once again this community were able to get the job done when working together. Now with CoinKite, Moolah, and Vault Of Satoshi we can use these companies as leverage to further gain market share. Once again I ask everyone to email Mintpal and be heard!!! Do not let up on them, they are not doing us any favors. We want our own pair and if Mintpal doesn't want to give it to us, then lets see if Cryptsy will be willing to give it to us.

Would it be worth taking out a loan to buy more blackcoin? just curious on what people think
I think it would depend on the details..ie can you afford monthly repayments etc. If you can't make the monthly payments then no, this would be a terrible idea. If you can make the repayments for the duration of the loan comfortably (without needing an increase in the price of BC to make those payments) then it could pay off nicely for you. But always, never invest more than you can afford to lose. |

There is no reason, at all, that BlackCoin won't be 1$ come June 1st.
I wouldn't be that optimistic. And when I look at DarkCoin...  I know that post really surprised me. Soepkip's sounding like Iconic...he is usually conservative and cautious. So if Soepkip thinks there's no reason the price won't be $1, what will it actually be then? I think Darkcoin has good long term potential (next to BC of course) but it's being overhyped right now. As we've seen with bc, what goes up too fast will surely come down fast as well. |

Some of you guys are insane. All this negative talk. "oh I'm not sure what more blackcoin can do yatta yatta" Stocks go up and down. It's been one week for crying out loud and people are acting like children. Buck up guys. Blackcoin is the best out there, we all know this.
+1 Let's build value to bc by contacting vendors that already accept cryptos and ask them to accept bc. I've done this for a few vendors this week, without hearing back yet. But if more of us do things like that and get bc accepted by other vendors then the price growth will follow. |

Well good luck I guess, I know sometimes things get heated between fans of different PoS coins, but maybe something like Zetacoin is closer to your actual competition in this sense. Their marketing is pretty slick and they might have some big surprises
I feel about zeta the same way I felt about those Gox BTC $150 prices in early February. If the zeta project is real then it's a potentially a good investment, if it's not then zeta is worthless. So I really strongly disagree with a comparison between bc and zeta. Three weeks ago zeta was about 6k sats and bc about 9.5k. Say what you want about the potential of either coin, but waiting around for some announcement that may or may not come is a serious opportunity cost. Anyway, back to bc! |

Long time lurker here (I got in at 5k) and I agree with you on this. The market is incredibly fickle - the current dip in price was aided because people thought, well the multipool was down so the price should go down. And the coming rise will be because people think that now the multipool is back up, then the price should go back up. And in reality the multipool, while great, isnt at the point where it can affect the price so much (not yet anyway). But I'll take it and gladly ride the increased market confidence to higher prices. |
