121  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Start a Gambling Site on: October 20, 2015, 12:28:13 PM
It is really tough to make a new profitable gambling game nowadays. If you start a normal bitcoin casino app then you will need to have a huge marketing budget in order to grab some market share and to make profits.
122  Economy / Gambling / Re: Molotov Lottery? on: October 20, 2015, 12:26:56 PM
I would be interested in a bitcoin lottery but would the funds be held by an escrow ?
123  Economy / Gambling / Re: Betting on Elections on: October 20, 2015, 12:25:44 PM
If you want to bet on elections then you can try William Hill. But I think that William Hill doesn't accept bitcoin but it does accept neteller. So all you have to do is to load your neteller account with bitcoin and then bet with your neteller account on William Hill.

When you say one page website then I assume that you only the front-end of it ? If so, I am able to design and code the front-end of the website for 0.5 btc. Let me know if you are interested.
126  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is there a way to earn at least $1 in BTC per hour? on: October 13, 2015, 10:22:34 PM
You can invest in safe stocks and earn more than $1/hr with some good trading skills and capital.
127  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will the Banking Industry kill Bitcoin and keep the Blockchain? on: October 13, 2015, 10:20:28 PM
I think that the banking sector will primarily ignore bitcoin and focus on the blockchain techonlogy rather that try to destroy bitcoin itself.
128  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What kind of service is the actual "Killer App" for Bitcoin? on: October 13, 2015, 10:19:26 PM
a app with a feature that lets you send money without transaction fees perhaps? would be a good idea. a chat feature would be nice too

This would be really difficult to build since you would need a system that would convert the btc to fiat, and all of them usually charge a fee transaction.
129  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Discussions about digital currencies in some countries. What future for bitcoin? on: October 13, 2015, 10:18:02 PM
The ultra-advanced, superior technology of the digital currency Bitcoin and it's Blockchain public ledger system are in danger of being co-opted.

Taking a quote from your post, a true bitcoiner will be able to differentiate between a real crypto and something which is not, so I don't think in any way these cryptos (whatever they decide to name it) controlled by a central banks will ever become a threat. If centralization means anything, it has to be the first priority on why we chose to move away from fiat going to cryptocurrencies.

Yes but mainstream people who are not tech savvy can't tell the difference between bitcoin a government issued cryptocurrency.
130  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The more you know... on: October 13, 2015, 10:15:42 PM
Interesting statistics, bitcoin will probably still be the most stable currency for the next 5-10 years.
131  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What's the best (cheapest) website to buy bitcoin in Canada on: October 13, 2015, 10:12:35 PM
I would recommend you Coinsetter their trading fee is around 0.3% which is really low compared to other exchanges.
132  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: More people have to hold BitCoin on: October 13, 2015, 10:10:11 PM
People will always spend their bitcoin, you can't force not to spend it. People will have the ultimate control over their bitcoin.
133  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What kind of service is the actual "Killer App" for Bitcoin? on: October 13, 2015, 10:07:37 PM
A bitcoin "Kille" app would be an app that would fix a major issue for bitcoin user. A major issue of the bitcoin protocol is the long transaction time, so an app that could solve it could be the next "Killer" app.
134  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Buying Bitcoin was a worst decision of my life on: October 13, 2015, 10:05:09 PM
You should have not invested more money than you could lose. You should had gotten more information about   bitcoin so you could predict that the price would fall.
135  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Satoshi is back ? on: October 13, 2015, 10:03:03 PM
Is Satoshi a SHE or a HE or a Team?

None knows if Satoshi is a He,She or Team all we know is that he created bitcoin.
136  Economy / Gambling / Re: VOTE! What is the best bet size for you? on: October 13, 2015, 09:47:22 PM
I think that 20c sounds a reasonable amount to gamble since I usually don't gamble with a high capital.
137  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How much can you earn with gambling? on: October 13, 2015, 09:46:21 PM
I don't gable to earn money. I know it is almost impossible to earn more than you invested. I rather like the thrill of uncertainty gambling brings.
I usually bet only low stakes, maximum 0.001 BTC. So I don't cry later when I lose.

It is REALLY difficult to make profit with gambling, gambling is meant to entertain not to make profit. If someone wants to make profit and have that gambling feeling he should try the stock exchange.
138  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Everyone looses in the long run on: October 13, 2015, 09:44:50 PM
Only the house wins in gambling, the gambler may or may not win. Someone has to lose in order to someone to win.
139  Economy / Gambling / Re: Do you have a favorite casino? on: October 13, 2015, 09:41:13 PM
I usually prefer cloudbet for sports betting  and magical dice or paramedic for dice gaming.
140  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin the future of online gambling? on: October 13, 2015, 09:40:01 PM
Yes, bitcoin is the future of online gambling. Bitcoin offers more anonymity than paypal or credit card, so gamblers will naturally prefer to gamble with bitcoin.
