681  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Satoshi cashing out 1million BTC on: April 15, 2015, 04:27:59 PM
Satoshi created it. He made all this possible, so shouldnt there be an award for him? Other people made money out of Bitcoin, why shouldnt he?
I think Satoshi owning some btc worth millions isnt anyhow bad
I agree, satoshi deserves the biggest piece of the pie. After all he created the popular crypto currency on the planet, he deserves to earn  something and that is the 1 million bitcoins.
682  Economy / Services / Re: [EXPERIENCED] Do you want your own bitcoin website?! on: April 15, 2015, 04:19:48 PM
I would suggest you to build a portfolio website and include all your previous work you have done. Also include some links to some website that you have made here on the thread, include some screenshots of the site so the thread looks better and is more appealing to customers. Good luck with your service  Cheesy
683  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Did Satoshi expect Bitcoin to last this long? on: April 15, 2015, 04:15:38 PM
Just wondering what you guys think was this just a project that he made whilst being drunk in univeristy and decided to release it and it caught on fast or did he know that it was going to get this big?
I doubt that he was drunk when he was coding the bitcoin core, he was probably planning each line of code and each single feature carefully so the bitcoin core could work. If he made the project while he was drunk that would really impressive and he would probably be a genius IMO.
684  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Satoshi cashing out 1million BTC on: April 15, 2015, 04:12:09 PM
I thought it would never happen, if it really happened means he destroy what has been during this time he fought
I think that if he sold coins he wouldn't sell them all, he would probably sell enough to be able to live from it. He can't just dump $2 million worth of bitcoin and deposit it on his bank account, the feds wold be all over him. He probably waits patiently to see bitcoin grow and be more accepted.
685  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2015-04-15] BTC use switching from investment commodity to everyday currency on: April 15, 2015, 04:05:46 PM
I hope so. This is what it is best at, IMO.
I agree, bitcoin should be used more as a day to day currency and micropayments. Bitcoin will slowly but steady grow to a currency that people will use in their everyday life for everyday activities.
686  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Make profit using different exchanges? on: April 15, 2015, 04:03:18 PM
This would rarely work since you need to move coins quick between exchanges before the price changes. And since more exchanges require a 3 to 6 confirmations to allow to sell your coins but you can still try it out and see what happens. Good luck !
687  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will the Blockchain Endure if Bitcoin goes Bust? on: April 15, 2015, 04:00:45 PM
Bitcoin is decentralized so there will always be an open market. Bitcoin won't go bust since there will always be demand and supply bitcoin will have a price and miners will mine to get most of the coins. The blockchain technology is probably the most interesting thing about bitcoin but IMO a blockchain won't work without a coin or token.
688  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Satoshi cashing out 1million BTC on: April 15, 2015, 03:56:31 PM
He is probably dumping as we speak, but we can't know. He would probably dump small amounts of coins to not get attention from media and etc. Another scenario is that he has lost the private keys of the addresses and is crying himself to sleep  Roll Eyes

690  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How many new jobs have been created thanks to Bitcoin? on: April 14, 2015, 09:26:31 PM
More bitcoin companies will be built in the future and that's mean more bitcoin related jobs. It's just a matter of time until you see "bitcoin specialist" in job category section of job networks like elance or odesk.
691  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Your opinions on Online Gambling and Bitcoin on: April 14, 2015, 09:19:25 PM
Hello Everyone,

I am a young entrepreneur and I want my niche to be online P2P gambling, with no house edge. I believe this is a system where by provably fair sites can remove some of the stigmas associated with skill-based and chance games, as well as provide educated people (statisticians for example) and long-run method by which to make real returns from their knowledge despite an economy that undervalues their skills (even though they're paid more than the poultry that goes for average these days).

Anyhow, I understand that there are many counterpoints and draw backs from what I have said. We are aware that gambling has ruined lives before. Yet, recently governments (UK, Canada, Italy, etc.) has begun to offer online gaming as a way to generate taxes. Does government ownership of gambling make it more legitimate? Are the government's imposed limits a big difference in when it comes to the application of these devices? Are some governments/regions/jurisdictions more progressive than others?

This conversation is of particular interest to me so thank you for any and all input.

Open Ocean

If you're planning on offering a good dice site or something entirely new and different I think you're welcome. But you won't go far yourself without an house edge.

And yes, Bitcoin is a good opportunity for some online gambling, so you'll always have a market there Wink As for government ownership... Forget about it. I wouldn't spend a dime on a site that's publicly known to be somewhat government controlled.
Decentralised and P2P gambling networks will be the way to go. The bitcoin technology is really useful for online decentralised gambling, none is going to use a government controlled bitcoin gambling site.
692  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Best way to earn Bitcoins? on: April 14, 2015, 09:13:55 PM
Join a Sig campaign as soon as you can itll be worth it earning plenty of Bitcoin in a short amount of time as long as your a frequent and quality poster Cheesy
I agree, join a signature campaign once you are a full member. With signature campaigns you can earn a steady income per week, I would recommend to join the bit-x signature campaign which pays the most of all.
693  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If you were an artificial intelligent robot, what currency would you accept? on: April 14, 2015, 08:52:26 PM
I would accept BTC, because it is the strongest computing network on the planet, and the rest are cheap ripoffs.
This, Bitcoin is the most stable, secure and popular crypto currency in the world. There would be no point to use a different currency.
694  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: "Better than bitcoin" altcoin sellers arrested for stealing $340 million on: April 14, 2015, 08:46:46 PM
Wah wah, ponzi scheme again. If this continues, people will be afraid to invest because consider the investment world is a fraud.
More regulations should be made to prevent scams and ponzi schemes in the bitcoin field. Too many people have lost thousands of bitcoin on these types of scams. I hope that governments will implement heavier penalties for running scams like these. $340 million is a HUGE amount and there are probably many other bitcoin scam running right now. Be smart people, think twice when you invest in shady comapnies/services.
695  Economy / Economics / Re: Can a coin that is primarily a store-of-value succeed? on: April 14, 2015, 08:41:47 PM
It's difficult to tell if a coin like this could succeed. Many store of value coins have been made in the past and they always failed, maybe in the future a sidechain an be built with a store of value.
696  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Explorer with Euro Values? on: April 14, 2015, 08:36:41 PM
I would recommend http://btc.blockr.io/ it shows both values in dollars or euro.
697  Economy / Digital goods / Re: im seller egift starbucks card on: April 14, 2015, 07:50:50 PM
No chance to get customers with that trust feedback amigo Wink
I agree, better contact someone that does escrow service to vouch for you. No way someone will buy from yu without an escrow or vouch copy.
698  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Losses on: April 14, 2015, 07:34:02 PM
Around 0.5 bitcoin  from a scammer but I'm trying to regain the amount ASAP.
699  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How can the Bitcoin Foundation best help Bitcoin? From New Exec Director on: April 14, 2015, 07:30:18 PM
I think you may follow the model of Y-combinator. Invest in different promising bitcoin startups across the globe and hold a share of them. Banks do not help bitcoin startups, but you can and this will give you long term return which may be used to fund core development and other educational activities across the globe.

Personally, I would love to see a bitcoin conference organized by The Bitcoin Foundation in India. If you need help in contacting the bigwigs of Indian bitcoin community, then I may help you.
I agree, the bitcoin foundation should help and embrace  bitcoin startups and help them grow. More bitcoin  companies will help to grow the bitcoin eco system.
700  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Banks and Bitcoin on: April 14, 2015, 07:25:12 PM
if bank started to accepting bitcoin that i am really sure bank will be collapse
I don't think so , banks and bitcoin can co-exist an both bitcoin and the banks will benefit from it. Bitcoin could be stored in bank vaults and banks could have bitcoin accounts etc. Many possibilities can be done with the bitcoin and bank technology.
