HKcex is new to the cryptocurrency game and I don't think they realize the expectation of avid crypto users is immediate withdrawal. They are more used to the banking world where holds on money for security or operational reasons, especially on new accounts is standard. I have encountered other exchanges that do the same. I opened a new account on BTC-e to exchange some Altcoin to BTC and they would not process my withdrawals until the account was 3 days old. It was a major pain in the ass since I missed some other trading opportunities during that time period. Does that make BTC-e a scam? On a more sarcastic note Since they support BTC, PPC, LTC, NMC also and most of the withdrawal complaints have been with LTC I guess this is just another one of those LTC scams! These past two days have been amazing. We might have witnessed the birth of three new top 10 altcoins: Darkcoin, Libertycoin and Nautiluscoin. If you think about it, Litecoin has zero advantage over DRK, XLB or NAUT. There is a second spot to be had on the market cap list and my guess it will be one of those three with the other two in close proximity. I feel we have entered a new phase, among the tons and tons of shitcoins being pooped out daily we find these three gems that actually bring something new to the table.
Edit : Blackcoin and Silkcoin also make me feel all warm and fuzzy inside, although they cater for another niche than DRK, XLB and NAUT.

This whole thing has a very Worldcoin-esque feel to it, which I really don't like. Judging by the sell orders on Cryptsy someone is getting rid of their coins. I'm not saying it's OP, but I'd tread VERY carefully with this. I'll be watching this closely, it's either a shameless pump or a legitimate attempt to resurrect Stablecoin. I sincerely hope for the latter.

A few people and myself have been working countless hours to get a few great minds together on this. I am not personally a developer so I cant say exactly what and how it can be done, but I believe an anonymous POS coin can be the next innovation to the cryptoworld.
1. Proof of Stake is energy efficient.(No more chasing ROI on new hardware)
2. Anonymous is what cryptos where suppose to be.

Lol that is ridiculous. Unwarranted FUD is what surrounded Libertycoin since launch causing it to be severely undervalued at the moment. The implementation of the Zerocoin option was done in an attempt to future proof Libertycoin, it's strategic thinking imho. Now with Zerocoin off the table, it is only a matter of time when someone steps up to take that 2 BTC & 100.000 XLB bounty and creates an anonymous transaction feature. My guess is Libertycoin taking off very soon, Mintpal should be looking into it as we speak. When the succes comes, no doubt the trolls start spreading nonsense in here again. Do your own research, don't listen to asshats trying to scare people only to buy into their panic sell orders. Of course, I am bullish on Libertycoin but my calculations are based on logic thinking, analysis of fundamentals, not on emotions or lies brought up by people just wanting to buy in cheap. Why would haters follow this thread? If you truly believe Libertycoin won't amount to anything why would you waste your time dealing with it? |

Sounds to me like DigiByte is extremely undervalued right now Digibyte is indeed extremely undervalued, they are the Good Guy Gregs of the altcoin world. They helped Doge through a massive multipool attack by helping them implement Digishield. And now they lend a helping hand to NAUT. I think DGB is among the top contenders for legitimate real world transactions. |

The thing which is hot right now in cryptocurrencies is the ability to send funds and or messages anonymously through the blockchain. That is what partly makes Darkcoin so succesful at the moment. Of course, in the long term other qualities matter as well such as ASIC or multipool resistance, merchant acceptance etcetera. |
