Would anyone mind creating a new topic to post the PR (full-text) in the main altcoin subthread. I think we could also create a topic for the Bitcoin general discussion thread, since the PR is also directly related to BTC.
This will be sure to create a lot of buzz around Bitcointalk Forums.

Can someone tell me what the meaning of this on my BTCD wallet is.
Weight?
I understand this is going up, but what is it
Weight = coin age * balance So your weight increases with both the time you stake coins in your wallet and the amount of coins you keep in your wallet. Your weight influences the amount of coins you are rewarded for staking. The higher the weight, the more coins you recieve from staking. Basically it's like interest on your savings account in a normal bank. The higher your savings account and the longer you keep it at the bank, the more interest you recieve. |

Hi everyone, Today has been very productive. I was able to compile libjl777 under Windows and link it into BitcoinDark-qt. This means that the teleport functions are now able to be called and tested. I also built a custom rpc command which will be able to call these functions, such as teleport. In case you missed it the other day, I was able to successfully expand multisig support to 6-of-6 transactions, meaning that teleport is going to really be quite anonymous. Big things are coming for BTCD, and it really keeps the dev team motivated to see such positive posts in this thread Ok I need to go to sleep, it's almost 4 am here. Thanks, Matthew P.S. Remember to hodl You guys seriously rock. I like it how you work together in perfect synchronization. Btcd will be like an umbrella under which all alts can take shelter. +1 If XC decides to charge some sort of fee to use their private communication platform (chat, voice, & video)... I can't even begin to imagine how high the price will soar. This is just personal opinion and i have expressed it only to be ridiculed (not here) quite a few times, but i think the price XC will rise to in the next 12-36 months will make BTC's peak look like chicken feed, XC can be huge! and all the right steps are being taken to make this a reality and not just speculation, brace your selves, there is going to be some very rich people from this thread in the next few years....i know a lot of people think i'm delusional..but..i think you will all be surprised..how big XC is going too get. You are right. I share the same sentiment. I've been proclaiming the fact that XC is a company, a platform since the very beginning. We hold xc 'coins' but I see them as stock, or shares of that company. I hold and have held since May this year. I'm not thinking about selling any time soon. It's only a matter of time before either venture capital starts feeding on xc or a large company wants to buy the technology. It wont happen overnight, but I am patient and I will keep my faith whatever the market conditions are, we will get there. |

Excellent post, the only asset i'd like to add to the list is XC. It's also more of a platform (like BTCD) than 'just a coin', their focus is on mobile applications. I hold BTCD, XC, NXT and of course BTC itself |

literally more than a hundred test versions later, and dozens of bug fixes, plus needing to recode a whole new method to keep track of unspent outputs by realtime monitoring the blockchain, and a bunch of other minor fixes, I am not quite there  I have it randomly waiting to clone and I need to set that to 0 delay for testing, had a couple tests where it almost worked, but now have a dozen unusable telepods. transporter problems sure make a mess! Anyway, I have new telepod file format that should have all the fields needed, but now waiting for a test telepod to age. Getting a bit late though. Maybe it will go easier when I am not so tired. James Hang in there man, thanks for your hard work. You will get there, this is just a small setback in the long run. I think it's amazing that you keep us informed, both about progress and about small setbacks. |

ppl are saying top 10 long term, so that's like 400% of the value right now. Yep, top 10 soon. Look at the charts, a nice double top has formed. Usually this will be either the start of a breakout or a breakdown. With all the developments in the works (Teleport testing) we should see a breakout soon. My prediction is at least 700k short term. If James' testing of the Teleport function is succesful, panic buying will ensue. He has been testing it for a couple of hours (see previous posts by him) It's only a matter of time that he will post his results in this thread. Judging by his skills my bet is that he nailed it and the rabbit has succesfully gone through. |

My friend James is working on a technology called “Teleport” that allows anonymous transactions that leave no trace in the blockchain. The things that the GUI needs to do is: 1. Establish connection with a privacyServer (just needs IP, and NXT acct password) 2. Manage Telepods (You need to have a changepod and some unitpods, so requesting a changepod from faucet, creating unitpods) 3. Transporter function to teleport to specific destination 4. Publish public addresses so other people can do number 3 themselves. (I want to support having BTCD, NXT and BTC public addresses) 5. Display NXT address that is linked to a BTCD address (I will make it so that BTCD address’es privatekey is NXT password, so the two addresses are linked) EDIT: I just found this on Elance.com |

Yes James, implement the 'anti cloning' feature. It will safeguard the investment of people. Also, in due time you could decide to help other coins 'for free' or open source Teleport completely, but for now in these early development stages the copyright to this new technology will help the btcd platform to really stand above the rest.
