does this works?

https://coinbr.com/about

Yes, it works great. I use CoinBR as my broker for MPEx.

uh? what satoshi minigame? what's Eulora?  Huh

The Ministry of Games (S.MG) is a public company which develops games. The first game by the company, which they are in the process of producing, is Eulora, MMORPG type game with a real bitcoin economy. You can see the wiki for the game at http://www.eulorum.org/Eulora or read more on trilema in the SMG category (paywall).
2  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Check Balance of Multiple Bitcoin Addresses ( Non py, Non Linux ) on: March 23, 2015, 07:03:05 PM
Ok, after a week and a half of searching it is CLEAR that there is no easy solution to this problem.

The goal or problem is checking the balance of a ton of addresses without having to import them with keys without having to run a linux machine, without having to run anything in python, just plain and simple copy a list of addresses......

1EMXdJrLUhyh5ycijPzmJKWGStQ915VGSJ
1EmXdS1QPA7wmJqH7WtfwaV6rM88LC9t6F
etc....
etc....
etc.....

Then paste them into an input window, click submit or what have you, and have their balances checked say a 100,000 addresses at a time, or a million at a time, or whatever large number.

I have seen this question asked over a few hundred times in my week and a half search and have found 0 answers to it. 0 real answers that a non software developer, non linux running, non python familiar person can take advantage of.

So i ask again, on behalf of myself and the hundreds of other people out there that have been asking the same thing and all ended up with over technical non useful results.

Is there any way to check the balance of a ton of addresses by simply copying and pasting them into an input field.

Things we dont need:

Links to your software that will not run easily on widows or mac without having to install a ton of other stuff
Your explanation on how someone could code this software, Myself, and the others who have asked are obviously not developers
simple one line replies referencing someone else's block parser or other non windows/mac programs with no "how to use this for dummies" help.

you get the point, do a quick google search and you can see for yourself how this has been a discussion hundreds of times with no resolution.

Side note: if you are a able bodied developer, and the solution is as easy as (this) as has been answered many times before, maybe you can spend the few hours people say it would take to make such a software for the community to use.

I at some point found a script to do this in google drive's spreadsheet program.

Add this to a spreadsheet using the script editor:

Code:
// Blockchain.info ###############################################################

function BlockchainBalance(btcAddress){
    // Fetch balance from Blockchain.info API
    // EX: =BlockchainBalance("1Namjies9JeJ4ugCzjkAj6dbaWrtjAFKCk")
    // http://blockchain.info/address/1dice9wVtrKZTBbAZqz1XiTmboYyvpD3t?format=json
    var r = fetchCached("http://blockchain.info/address/" + btcAddress + "?format=json&limit=0")
    if ('undefined' == typeof(r))
        return 'No data!'
    r = Utilities.jsonParse(r)
    if ('undefined' == typeof(r))
        return 'Malformed JSON!'
    r = r['final_balance'] / 100000000
    if ('undefined' == typeof(r))
        return 0

    if (!isNaN(r)){r = r*1}
    return r
    }

Put your first address in cell A1, put the following in another cell (like B1):
=BlockchainBalance(A1)

Put the rest of you addresses in column A, copy the formula down in column B.

Looks like the MPEx update is a monthly feature now at Qntra.net :

Recently, Qntra published http://qntra.net/2014/12/summary-of-mpex-stocks-november-2014/ a review of the reports from MPEx assets.
6  Economy / Securities / Re: MPEx securities discussion thread on: October 17, 2014, 02:07:27 PM
New share up on MPEx, S.QNTR.

This will be shares of the company running Qntra.net, a bitcoin news website. The website is currently under heavy DDOS, but they are in the process of setting up a dedicated server, which should allow them to be back up again soon.

Speaking of which, the DDOS is from a hole in the standard wordpress setup, if you are running wordpress on your site, please fix the pingback hole.

The shares will be used as payment to the authors who write articles for the website. If you are interested in being a bitcoin reporter, contact Cazalla or BingoBoingo over on IRC in #bitcoin-assets on FreeNode.

Each month the company will issue 1 share per word to authors of articles. The company will also issue an equivalent amount of shares to the management team, so the management will always own 50% of the company. The current best bid is 0.00014 btc.

The first shares will be issued sometime between the 1st and 5th of next month.

More analysis of the future price of this asset can be found in this article on BtcScoop.
7  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Please stop turning into morons just because you see "Brock Pierce" somewhere on: September 24, 2014, 08:17:39 PM

BurtW has been *ahem* involved in some interesting stuff. I know he was one of the big passthroughs in the Pirate@40 Ponzi. I didn't know he was involved in this though. I know Bruno was raising a stink about being ripped off by Davout. The little side scams here are too involved for me to keep track of them all. Peter Lambert was teasing me about not accepting btc from someone here. I told him, I don't deal with anyone from this forum because I don't have time to keep up on who's fucking who.

Sounds like you would benefit from a WoT.

8  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Request for a bitcoin irc chat board on: September 05, 2014, 05:44:23 PM
i agree with that but i was thinking about something else for the forum then again thinking about it it seems to be like a website idea more then a forum board idea.

So in other words, you have no idea what you want or how to ask for it? Also, please learn the use of capitalization and punctuation, your posts are making my head hurt.
9  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Request for a bitcoin irc chat board on: September 05, 2014, 12:32:26 AM
basically a chat board for new irc relating to bitcoin or a chat boardfor new ircs for altcoins as well. I notice that bitcointalk doesn't have one and alot of people used the irc chat networks like freenode to communicate. im pretty sure it won't effect the forum because people would have to find it on the board. It would just be easier for dev deals to be made besides just using the forum plus people don't have to used irc they can just used this board or forum.

What is wrong with the current one? Freenode IRC #bitcoin and #bitcoin-assets and #bitcoin-otc etc.

What about S.MPOE?

What makes you think this is going to be as successful as BTCTCTC? (And do you really call that a success, considering how little time it lasted?)
11  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Invest bitcoins? on: August 22, 2014, 06:55:41 PM
There are some sites for investing bitcoins but sooner or later they becomes scam.

Scams are certainly common, but I wouldn't go as far as to say that they are all scams.
that's called Ponzi's  ! Tongue don't go with these it has high risk I am sure if you invest there you will always lose your money in these types of sites

That's funny coming from somebody with "HYIP" in their name!
12  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Dead Bitcoins on: August 20, 2014, 03:59:11 PM
There was a thread here counting all the known lost bitcoins, maybe somebody could find it and post a link? It has been a while since I looked at that thread, but if I recall correctly they were up into the tens of thousands of lost bitcoins.
13  Economy / Securities / Re: [HAVELOCK] Crypto Financial (CFIG) Official Thread on: August 20, 2014, 03:56:09 PM
No news?

Starting to suspect we've been had...

After a year and no progress, you are just now starting to have suspicions?
14  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Invest bitcoins? on: August 20, 2014, 03:54:41 PM
There are definately some great altcoins out there but you gotto do research. Don't go after shortterm hype things promising all the great features to develop, they may not deliver.
Best look at some older coins that are solid, still around and developing properly. You can read the ANN and all posts to get impression of the community.

I don't think altcoins are good investments. It is better to just keep your bitcoins.

15  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin to Become a World Reserve Currency on: August 15, 2014, 07:52:50 PM
There are a few other factors that make Bitcoin ideal:

-Bitcoin has no counter party risk: no one can devalue them
-Bitcoin can't be confisicated. Unlike gold in 1933:http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Executive_Order_6102
-Bitcoin can be sent over the Internet.

The president could issue a similar order regarding bitcoins, it would just be impossible to execute.
16  Economy / Securities / Re: [HAVELOCK] Crypto Financial (CFIG) Official Thread on: August 15, 2014, 07:48:46 PM
Where does this company publicly publish their financial reports? I checked Havelock, but the only thing there is a year old prospectus for the original IPO.
17  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Invest bitcoins? on: August 15, 2014, 07:37:49 PM
Google havelock investments. They sell shares to many bitcoin companies. BTCjam also offers a place like that, where you can make a nice 20% annually.

I have heard bad things about BTCjam, it is populated by scammers. They take out small loans, repay them to get good ratings, then take out a big loan and walk away. Rinse and repeat under a new username. So the site reports something like 75% repayment rate (I don't know the current stat), but the 25% that are not paid back are much larger loans than the ones that do get paid back. Basically, from an investor's point of view, it is a good way to lose money.

Have you had a look at mpex.ws as a place to invest?

It's hard to say - MPEX only appeals to startups involved in the Bitcoin space. Traditional startups have traditional VC funding routes, and larger companies have larger domestic exchanges they can use. A more likely scenario than a "legitimate" company listing on MPEX is that something like Van Ads or MiniGames is a rousing success, and that is a catalyst for other "legitimate" companies.

Sure one of MP's companies could be a success, but we have yet to see a single shred of evidence suggesting he can run a company and/or turn a profit. Sure, we know he can collect massive trading license fees and create a decent options robot to take money from shitty gamblers but running an actual company has yet to be seen.

So far we've seen:

S.MG, a videogame company which looks like a 1 man operation + MP with ~$5,000,000 and none of it has been spent on developing the game. The game looks like a pre-alpha version of runescape classic at best. Unless they completely stop what they are doing and hire a competent game development team I don't see how this game can be a success.

S.NSA is another 1 man +MP operation with a bunch of money but nothing to show for a years worth of work.

VanAds looks to be yet another 1 man + MP operation which is basically a clone of adbit.co.

S.WoL is the 5000th gambling site to be invented and for some reason needed 500btc to run their site, but I do have to give them credit for not being co-owned by MP.

S.WoL is co-owned by MP.

You didn't mention BitBet (also co-owned by MP), they have a functioning website which does thousands of bitcoins of traffic and turns a profit most months.

WoT is a gimmick just like GPG. 99.9% of bitcoin businesses don't take it seriously.

It does the same thing as the forum trust system.

Do you really think WoT prevents scammers? If anything it does the opposite.

GPG is a gimmick? What, you can crack encrypted messages now?
20  Economy / Securities / Re: MPEx securities discussion thread on: August 07, 2014, 03:44:12 PM
Does anyone send money to these scammers?

Newbies beware.

Yes, newbies should always check into things thoroughly, especially when it involves sending bitcoins.

Unlike so many other places asking for bitcoins, the people in this case have a presence in the WoT, so it is easy to check up on them. Just find the people who have rated them in the WoT, and verify the history. If you do not trust any of the raters in the WoT, check their trust by asking their raters, until you find someone you do trust (that is how the WoT works). If you have not interacted with any of these WoT nodes, then do not send any bitcoins. Instead, get involved in bitcoin and check back later (bitcoin is still so small, it should not take long for your trust web to expand to include major players such as the people running and listed on MPEx).
