1721  Economy / Economics / Re: Do cash control spending more than digital or crypto currency? on: August 12, 2022, 08:29:08 PM
People take cash out before traveling all the time. For the reason if credit cards get stolen or they receive transactional errors from the merchant's end, it's good to keep cash on hand. This isn't indicative of a trend back towards cash, that ship has sailed a long time ago.

I suppose it's easier to budget when you're spending actual cash instead of putting everything on credit -- I'd just caution that this sort of method doesn't apply to most folks and it certainly isn't a rebuke of cashless payment methods.
Although there are many merchant applications that support various payment needs while on vacation, but I need more cash to spend in tourist areas except for the cost of airline tickets, hotels and other large payments via credit cards. But regarding crypto, I prioritize crypto payments if merchants accept them, but unfortunately crypto payments are only accepted in certain places and sometimes not at all in other countries because of the prohibition on their use other than fiat if based on law.
1722  Economy / Economics / Re: Avoid loan apps, a word of advice. on: August 12, 2022, 07:44:15 PM
Loan apps are just the absolute worst. They would constantly notify you of your balance and would even send a message to your family and friends for you to get ashamed and hopefully pay back your loans immediately. Plus the interest rates are also higher. If that isn't enough, some of them are even selling your information to advertising agencies, and this is confided to me by my friend who's working on advertisements for years and had the chance to talk to this client, a director of some sort from a local loan app.
They will make every effort to pressure borrowers to repay loans on time, but illegal loan applications do not have good collection procedures for borrowers. However, suppression in any way against borrowers is not accepted, including publishing/selling loan data to others, threats against borrowers, physical contact and confiscation of goods, but all the worst collection procedures are never written in advance in the loan terms, so you must avoid loan applications and alternative solutions to borrow from family, friends and relatives.
1723  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling Myths that we often hear on: August 12, 2022, 07:15:04 PM
Well, I was also a believer of that before. So I never played when I think the timing is not right, or I’m not feeling lucky at all. But the thing is, no matter I gamble, either I play it bad or good, still the losses are inevitable. Because the fact is, it’s always the house wins, and the more we gamble, the more losses we endure.
The fact that we can't avoid losing, but at least we play at the right time to overcome emotions and bad decisions, many gamblers experience high losses due to the inappropriate gambling timing factor so we don't focus on the game, another fact we don't bet for profit but the point is Gambling to enjoy the fun so allocate less money for the risk of losing.
1724  Economy / Gambling / Re: Duelbits.com | Casino & Sportsbook | Earn up to 50% rakeback | VIP | on: August 11, 2022, 09:42:45 PM
Is not some.

The centralized casino is always required "KYC", don't believe a casino who are provided an anonymous feature. Unless you're playing on-chain gambling (Like Dice On-chain, or Lottery with Smart Contract).

KYC is always can be ask on centralized casino.
Centralized casinos implement KYC requirements for compliance to prevent AML and to avoid other illicit activities, but many gamblers disagree with KYC and I think the casino platform will limit withdrawals to non KYC users, so it is impossible to use for AML purposes because the account has been suspected if only used for withdrawal traffic to other wallets.
1725  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to know a good bounty on: August 11, 2022, 09:19:28 PM
There are many ways to know a good bounty which included the kind of manager that is managing it. There are some managers that does not accept bounty campaign except the fund is escrowed because they have been scammed for many times. There are also some bunty managers that accept any bounty campaign that comes there way because do money. They don't even care for escrow.
We must prioritize the bounty funds that have been escrowed and the bounty manager has a trusted reputation, but apart from the payment guarantee factor managed by the bounty manager, we must analyze the potential of the project because not all escrowed bounties have good potential unless they pay for it with USDT or BUSD stable tokens.
1726  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does bitcoin dump have any impact on gamblers ? on: August 11, 2022, 09:00:07 PM
you are right
the point is regardless if the person is gambling for fun or as a "profession" they'll have to decide if they want to hold btc or usd after gambling
it's not the simplest decision depending on where you are gambling too
many things to consider
Every gambler has different reasons for keeping balances in BTC or USD, but in the category of crypto gamblers will choose BTC regardless of the market price, but some want USD because they don't want the value to decrease when the crypto market declines. But it all depends on individual decisions and more gamblers still hold BTC because it is not for investment so it is not affected by the market price.

Even our check across this bitcointalk full room majority of the people in bitcointalk am not using their original name they are hiding their identity fully but hiding your name or giving your real name does not remove anything from you because this place is a place that nobody knows each other and nobody come be angry with you and extend it to your house or to the place you are.here isjust like a place where we pass information concerning cryptocurrency and also concerning gambling as we are all here in gambling station so I have not seen anything reasonable why some people will be hiding their gender and they also their real name
They have privacy reasons to hide any identity even gender is not published on every account, but we can personally verify account data via PM if needed so it doesn't matter if each account uses a pseudonym or any other name, I didn't find any specific error about anonymous users because they keep their privacy to the public but only we can't trust them for certain purposes.
1728  Economy / Gambling / Re: Duelbits.com | Casino & Sportsbook | Earn up to 50% rakeback | VIP | on: August 11, 2022, 07:59:35 PM
Yes, unfortunately, I agree. I think that sooner or later (it can happen in several years) all the regulated casinos will prohibit withdrawing money if you're not KYC verified. We are still far from really widespread use of cryptocurrencies in the gambling world. With the changing legislation and ongoing legislative campaigns, new rules will likely appear that will require cryptocurrency platforms to register as casinos or bookmakers. But for now, there are still plenty of sites on the Internet that don't require mandatory KYC and which support anonymous gambling. I myself don't like the idea that my personal information is in the hands of some authority. They could connect your personal data to your gambling activities which indeed shouldn't be publicized. And I believe that this is not just my opinion. We'll just have to wait and see how things develop.
Some casinos require KYC due to new regulatory factors that casinos have to follow for their users, I believe we want to remain anonymous for gambling activities but if new regulations on KYC will legalize for all casinos then gamblers should prepare KYC for that, I think casinos should prove trust in authority not to blame the identity of others.
1729  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Will you stop gamble if your girl friend insists ? on: August 10, 2022, 09:38:17 PM
I have to agree with you on this point, because most wives or girlfriends don't want to see their partner suffer a loss that will also make them suffer. It has been observed in many ways that the entire family has suffered loss due to the person who is addicted to gambling.
Still I think it should be considered with one's own judgment. I also think that gambling can be done for entertainment purposes with self control.
That many divorce problems are due to high losses from the influence of gambling and cause emotional tension to anyone even for the wife so that household harmony is no longer well established. So you have to adjust with your partner about how he reacts when you involve money in gambling, I'm sure he will not agree and ask you to stop gambling.
1730  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Threshold of Loss in Gambling on: August 10, 2022, 09:12:49 PM
Everyone gets different monthly income, so to allocate tens of percent for gambling, I think they have arranged for other things so that 30% is enough for them, some say this is big, so it really depends on them to allocate it.
I myself am not really sure what percentage for gambling sometimes I don't count it but I don't want to get stuck so for gambling games I think about whether other needs have been met if the remaining money can be used to enjoy gambling.
Gambling thresholds must be applied otherwise we will have an excess of what is used in gambling because it is not felt if there is no threshold.
The allocation of 30% is very large from monthly income, although we get income that varies every month, another factor that determines the amount of money allocation for gambling is because of the influence of gambling addiction for high bets in certain games, so we really have to determine personal financial management so that any amount of money spent in gambling does not affect other needs, so the point threshold for gambling must be determined and there is no option to add from other money needs for gambling.
1731  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Some Tips To Aide Successful Sports Betting. on: August 10, 2022, 08:47:52 PM
Of all your points I have a hard time following this one, it's like a part of me is betraying my favorite team or player and you always wish that your team or player can and will upset the opposing team, I experience losing in the past, that is why I prefer not to bet when my favorite team or player is against a very tough opponent and I have a small chance betting on my favorite team or player, I prefer this than betraying my favorite team or player.
It's actually not hard to believe that your favorite team can be optimistic to win every game even against a tough team, the last few football matches we have said that a strong team doesn't always guarantee to win the game even it has been proven to be beaten by a lesser team, so we have to control bias behavior to decide that our team some points sure to beat the opponent and do not care even if betting for a tough opponent.
1732  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: An alternative to gambling with money. on: August 10, 2022, 08:19:25 PM
With the application of fake gamblers it will be even more intense to gamble for real. The initial goal was to overcome the use of real money. this is the same as a gambling demo because it uses fake money or fake balances that can be reset and added. for those who do gamble for the purpose of profit, gambling games with real money will be an option.
Gambling using fake money will have no responsibility in every betting session because the fake money that is bet can be added again and refilled, I think playing in fake money mode will not meet real players at the betting table, but we bet with bots and play the game so boring that it wastes time and energy.
1733  Economy / Gambling / Re: Would you support a collective boycott of all Russian gambling platforms? on: August 08, 2022, 10:42:15 AM
snip
Casino owners don't seem to care about that either and some are still running their own casinos, regardless of the boycott or not. Although the boycott still continues, it does not impact the casino significantly because they can get more customers from other countries.
Casino owners are not affiliated with anyone so don't care about the impact of war tensions, even though other countries boycott Russian casinos but casino owners are trying to plan new strategies to increase the interest of new users from other countries, maybe local gamblers still join for their country's casinos because of other countries casinos requires KYC but Russian country users are blacklisted under the terms and conditions of some casinos.
1734  Economy / Gambling / Re: Roobet.com | Crypto’s Fastest Growing Casino 🦘 on: August 07, 2022, 06:44:31 PM
I agree. They casinos will require you to pass some KYC documents when you cheated, or if your transactions on the casino including the deposits, withdrawal, and any bets are heavily suspicious.
Whether KYC will be required for suspected users but I'm not sure the casino does that, so the team followed the terms and conditions unless changed to require KYC for all users.

Quote
I do not know exactly how can the track it but I believe they have the tools that are needed for that matter.
The team can track if they find cheated activity that harms the casino due to the highest wins in each game, they also track your activity history with details including your deposit and withdrawal addresses to prevent money laundering and other activities that violate the terms and conditions.

1735  Economy / Economics / Re: Share your Money management strategy on: August 07, 2022, 04:14:01 PM
Until now I have not been the best technique for managing finances, I learned about the economy in school for more than 8 years, but everything in the theory is always different from reality, it is not easy to make finances according to plan, and I understand that this is real life, not Only theories on paper and based on opinions from people who can only make theory.
You can combine what you know about economics for financial management and I am not sure that 8 years of studying economic theory without any real life benefits, that more than 30% of economics is useful for independent financial management in addition to managing economics in companies and others. Back to the topic, the description of crypto-related economic management in the main thread is very useful and you should study it well to anticipate the risk of investment losses.
1736  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to take profits? on: August 07, 2022, 11:03:14 AM
I am mostly a HODLer like you so I don't worry about the profits along the way until I am sure that the market is around another ATH and I will take all the profits in there meaning I must have taken my Initial Investment and some profits too, and don't forget you must have invested in the right profits for this else some projects might not survive the long HODL.
If you are targeting achievement around other ATH then you must be wise to invest in top coins, if you choose the wrong coin for long term holder then there is no guarantee that the coin will enter the list of highest recovery during bullrun, holding category should stay on top coin for portfolio planning long term and you should avoid hype coin investing.
1737  Economy / Economics / Re: Are we hodling BTC or we are hodling Fiat?? on: August 07, 2022, 10:34:48 AM
Well, you can hold Bitcoin as your long term investment tho because FIAT experiencing inflation that makes it less valuable in the future. Most people ask about which is the best that we hold between Bitcoin and Gold, we can't always hope the Bitcoin price on its ATH since we don't control the price and even the whale can't 100% control the price.
Many people have switched from holding fiat to investing in cryptocurrencies or gold because depositing money in the bank no longer gets annual profits due to the impact of inflation causing the value of fiat to decline. We must change the pattern of economic management to anticipate fiat inflation so that the right choice is to switch to investing in Bitcoin or gold. Even if you still hold fiat but you have to convert to USD because the local currency is very low impact all basic necessities have increased from the previous price.
1738  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: POLYGON’S MATIC or Solana on: August 06, 2022, 09:38:13 PM
If we want to be certain and safer, we should choose ethereum or bitcoin, depending on our investment preferences. The majority of my portfolio is bitcoin and ethereum, but besides that i also have small investments in other projects and are classified as venture capital. I do with this investment is to invest in top layer 1 and layer 2 projects, as well as sometimes some shitcoins, but not too much, since I just consider it as a gamble for entertainment.
We have to manage the portfolio to add the main coins are Bitcoin and ETH for 75% investment fund allocation but it depends on each investment strategy. I think the rest are invested in the top 20 altcoins (except coin memes) and I ignore shitcoin investments because the risk of loss is high with no guaranteed recovery price to cover losses.
1739  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Shiba Inu Long-Term Holders Are Increasing as Investors Shift Focus on: August 06, 2022, 09:06:57 PM
Adding Shiba to your portfolio should be done with extreme caution, it is true that it seems the coin is here to stay as the community is quite big, but at the same time we cannot deny that it is still a meme coin.

So it is a mistake to think that it is a good idea to buy the coin now, if you are interested in the coin then wait until the next bull market comes and when Shiba gives signals that it is ready to pump once again then that could be the moment in which investing in Shiba could be good move.
We should not rush to add more shiba coins to the portfolio even though the current price is lower, but it is better to wait for the bull market or when the pump is high from the increasing effect of the coin meme trend, so that we can be sure that the shiba profit signal is verified based on some indications that the discussion of meme coin has become a trending topic in the crypto community and its trading volume has increased significantly and other factors have contributed to the increase in meme coin.
1740  Economy / Gambling / Re: My list of good crypto casinos on: August 06, 2022, 08:07:34 PM
The problem with his review is that most of those casinos are not that known to the public and not even among of the good casinos we have on this forum so I don't think these casinos are safe for gamblés especially the newbies to play on because we don't know how reputable the those gambling platform could be. I always like gambling on casinos that has good reputation where I would not deposit my money and end up not able to withdraw them.
The casino review list is very suspicious because the casino list above has low ratings on various other review sites, without intending to compare them but I'm sure some members will exclude some of those casinos and never try to register an account even though they offer high welcome bonuses.

The worst fact is that you are hunting for winning chances at a new casino, after depositing then you lose it in every slot game and if you withdraw it will not be paid because your money is not actually added to the casino account balance.
