We support all the way to sustainable and accessible to everyone energy, enough power plants and dams, build solar panels and wind towers.

ok but how you support energy power stuff?

Said support all forms of sustainable energy, so I'm a design of a sustainable generator, as this one http://www.coinssource.com/trust-index/martexcoin-mxt-trust

Could you explain for what you spend funds from ICO? some examples? Very interesting subject but without any example of this is a bit of a unclear, thanks

The value of ICO is to fund the prototype power generator powered by magnetic repulsion, which are two parts (rotor and stator), to build the rotor stator and the cost is higher because the magnets are expensive.  (Figure 2) that will rotate the rotor stator (Figure 1)

Figure 1: Stator

Figure 2: Impeller

how expensive are parts for your generator, it is patented by you? It's your first project? Some cukcesy so far?

all design details, including the materials and how to assemble, will be released after the prototype is ready ok, as the patent not yet registered, yes it is my first project in this category

After the prototype is ready lol Smiley also No Patent , If this would work you would be a instant billionaire and every power company in the world would be kissing your ass for a deal.

Also u Dont have a working prototype but u Know this works somehow ?

If something looks to good to be true it usually is. Ill be following this closely as soon as a Working prototype is produced ill be standing in line to give u my money .
Untill then PASS.

What are the Costs of building a generator and how much power would it produce?

The prototype is to support a house 100mt square, with moderate use of energy, as the total cost of the prototype so I'll know after it's done, but it will surely pass 8BTC

So, you're about to create a power generator based on Tesla's magnetic energy developments?. Awesome!

Something is wrong with minerpools.. Mined for 30 minutes and zero coins, switched to suprnova now and it works fine.. That was a load of coins wasted :/

We don't have enough hash right now to find blocks as quickly as the other pools, we're at 105% right now, there's nothing wrong with the pool but lack of hash..
1043  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] GamerholicCoin (GHC) [SHA-256] - Fair launch! - I WIN FOR A LIVING on: October 03, 2014, 06:15:42 PM
In all honesty, the coin does have some serious issues, it forks very easily and the reason the pools are synced is because we're syncing together.

Most users have reported getting into weird forks just by downloading and installing the wallet, so there's issues with the coin and they haven't been fixed.
C-cex is not to blame directly in my opinion as they were simply having the same issues we all had, I don't know what their config file looks like but given the fact that if one simply uses the nodes from the op as posted and it'll fork then the coin does have issues and needs fixing immediately.
1044  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Squall Coin (work in progress) NO IPO, Made for you! on: October 03, 2014, 10:59:51 AM
Everyone,

Minerpools  won't be able to host this coin, I don't have proper internet connection from where I am right now.

Please accept my apologies and have fun mining at one of the several other good pools listed. Thank you.

Does this coin from an anime universe or are you using a Roman numeral?

Lol it's dirty numbers Wink I'm in
1046  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Advertising spam is not allowed on: October 02, 2014, 09:09:39 PM
Does this apply for pools then? Can we post "Coin added to the pool, please see my thread" or something like that?
1. Yes, it applies.
2. No, you can't.

Ok now this is even more confusing and it goes beyond insane. You've pretty much said that the Exchanges can post on a coin ANN thread to let people know they've added a coin, that they can't post the URL but the exchange is now supposed to refer people to go to the Exchange's thread for the info they need regarding the coin. Why is it so bad that c-cex or bittrex posts information about a coin being added? that's one of the fundamental parts of an altcoin.

You're telling me that the same rule does apply to the pools as well, but that we can't tell people to go to our thread for the information they need?. How does that make sense to you in any way? And please don't say that you didn't make the rule because you're the one enforcing it.
You can discuss the coin's community, specs ,algo, issues with the coin, benefits and disadvantages of it, when a certain feature will be implemented, feature discussion, troubleshooting and support for the coin, updates, hashing speed of the coin, config suggestions for more effective mining, etc.
So people in the Altcoin mining sections can't discuss the most important aspects of an altcoin which are:
1. Extraction
2. Markets/Exchanges/Price

This entire forum is full of scammers, fudsters, there are actually organized groups that have destroyed even good coins by spreading lies and creating fake accounts posing as the actual coin dev. (This happened on GNS and the scam group killed the coin within hours of it being launched) And what happened with the fake accounts? I posted about it and my posts got deleted, the dev had to actually lock the thread and create a self-moderated thread although it was too late, the coin was dead already, this made a lot of people lose money  while the scammers just went to the bank.

It's pretty obvious that some of you actually want the altcoin section to go away, you guys treat the section as a nuisance, when in fact it generates the most traffic for bitcointalk, do you honestly think the huge traffic increase in the past 10 months has been because of Bitcoin?
Keep it up and that traffic will simply go somewhere else.
1047  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Advertising spam is not allowed on: October 02, 2014, 08:52:31 PM
No, I don't think the rule is unfair. That would involve some level of thought, malice, or at least a distaste for commerce. Which, given this forum's proven history of supporting scams as long as they pay the advertising fees, is an insane thought.

I think this rule is insane. I think this rule is arbitrary and capricious, and a rather pathetic attempt to garner more advertising revenue without any sort of solid advertising plan or rules regarding such, or price lists..

My earlier comments were to BadBear, who I usually like. He ignored them. Since that's been the case, I have merely aired my grievance in public. This does not affect my posting, as I do not (currently) operate any of the now banned essential services. I have watched this unfold, and watched it being (legitimately) ignored. Like it or not, all things cryptocurrency eventually find their way to this forum. If Theymos needs more revenue, that's understandable. He should consult with businesspeople on how he might do that. Arbitrary and capricious rules with the sole purpose of restricting commerce on a website supposedly dedicated to a new form of commerce do not make monetary or ethical sense. Some restriction on the number of posts per thread to prevent spam, sure. A blanket denial on services that we all rely on in some manner? That could ONLY make sense to someone high on drugs or power.

I am a miner, a trader, and an activist. Not necessarily in that order. I follow the latest happenings in a number of threads. I do NOT regularly scan the OP, and judging by the other posts, neither do the majority of your users. This is ordinary and not egregious. Some of these threads run to hundreds of pages, and just keeping up is often difficult, let alone scanning the OP for posts, or seeking out pools or exchanges via other threads. There is NOT ONE THING in this rule that will actually reduce spam, as an enterprising operator is going to start a new thread and get his friends and sock puppets to bump the hell out of it. Why? because it needs to be noticed by the customers, miners, and yes, casual readers of these fora.

This rule was not thought out. I won't say it was poorly thought out because there was CLEARLY no thought behind it. It was the blind reaction of an amoeba to stimulus, or a drunkard, or a crackhead.

I know this will likely be deleted. It don't matter. It will be seen.

I also am calling you, mprep, personally for your statement "I didn't make the rule...". That is the Nuremburg defense. Those men were hanged. It is NOT a valid defense when asked or ordered to do something you KNOW to be morally suspect. It never has been and it never will be. You seem a decent sort, but you need to take a serious look at what you do. Theymos is too lazy to enforce this, and you know it. If you are trying to get it overturned by it's zealous enforcement, say  so. Ulysses S. Grant was not wrong in that assessment. But don't go with the copout. It lessens you.

+100000 I don't think anyone could have expressed this in a better way.
1048  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Advertising spam is not allowed on: October 02, 2014, 04:54:59 PM
Badbear please explain in the best possible way how giving a coin's thread a one time notice that they are accepted to our exchange is considered spam. I just had 33 posts deleted by "mprep" for literally telling a community they are on our exchange. I cannot see any reason for this it is pure nonsense.

Here is an example of my typical posts, note there are no graphics used and very un-spammish in nature

"Welcome to C-CEX:

https://c-cex.com/?p=xsx-btc
https://c-cex.com/?p=xsx-usd"
Regarding the possible ways to show a coin that they have been accepted to your exchange:

1. Make a thread dedicated to your exchange and post a post in that thread that you accepted the coin (it counts as a bump and should be done once every 24 hours). If you don't have a coin added every 24 hours, just post a simple bump which will keep your thread somewhat up.

2. PM the dev asking to add your coin to the OP.

3. To anyone asking on whether some exchange added a coin, PM the user with said information. Just don't overdo it or it'll be considered spamming.
Does this apply for pools then? Can we post "Coin added to the pool, please see my thread" or something like that?

fews hours left in launch
and still no pool

Actually, there is one, but according to BCT rules we have to wait 'till the dev comes online and list the pools that have PM'd him.

Right now I am needing some advice:
1、Should I continue using the same account on bittrex and cryptsy.Password changed of course.
2、Finding a suitable antivirus or security apps for miners and altcoin traders. Some apps like to report mining programs or wallets as virus, trojan.

1. If you can, create new accounts.
2. Use linux.

That seems a pretty messed up moderation policy. What's wrong with an exchange notifying a coin thread that their coin has been added?

Agreed.  A major exchange listing is one of THE MOST IMPORTANT posts that can be posted in a coin thread.  We are all here mining, buying, or selling.  In all 3 cases, the most pertinent piece of information about a coin is where it can be exchanged!

+1 I agree too, this is insane. It's one thing to ban spam (multiple posts with larged colored fonts and graphics) but it's something completely different to delete and ban posts which are of interest to the community, every altcoin launch is unique, and there are sometimes hundreds of pages on a thread, there's no way that miners and investors will always try to go to the OP for the information they need.

stable pools for that?
stll have problem? dev

Pools have been stable for the past two days now (Coin-miners, suprnova and minerpools) but we're still waiting for the source code's update and I'm sure c-cex is waiting for it too.

I saw this from DarkCoin also.. GetNextWorkRequired_V1 & V2...
Ocminer, now I'm certainly not going to mining a coin with your support. you have a problem with luck. you laughed successful utility coin but this scam gladly supported  Smiley

Scam ? Why ? There was no premine or IPO/ICO..

If the dev would have delivered, this would be a "normal" coin with fair distribution.

I cannot be held responsible for the dev's faults.. He has to code, not me Smiley

And if he cannot code, he should ask people BEFORE releasing..

I'm not "supporting" the coin, i'm just hosting a pool for it.. Or do you think the other pools here "support" the coin too ?

+1 Pools only host coins, sometimes we may take more active parts but our job is simply to host coins and make sure miners get paid. Nothing else, ocminer did a good job helping with the Win wallet, but there was no time really.
Let's just wait for the relaunch now and see how it goes.

Can someone explain this to me. What is the advantage of using a huge mining farm if the block reward is the same and theres a specific block target time. Im assuming that the block time is the time between finding blocks. In the case of metal coin, the block reward is 24 and the block time is 2 minutes. Whats the point in using a  massive rig. Surely the only advantage would be getting a larger portion of those 24 coins in each block? thanks

this

So the block reward time doesn't change, when you start mining a block its going to take on average 2 minutes for each block to complete? Do pools mine multiple blocks at once?

Blocks take on average for this coin about 2 minutes to complete.
Larger farms = more shares sent to stratum.
More shares sent = more coins paid to the miner.

Lost contact with coin dev, They are not on, I hope they remembered it was UK time and not US time, He might think it was in 6 hours time  Undecided

Can you give us a new timeline ? Maybe update the OP with a new countdown or so - i'd like to have some lunch now Smiley

+1 I need some breakfast now mate.
