281  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How can a betting shop be so dubious like this on: February 14, 2024, 10:06:01 PM
The betting platform is not to be blamed as the victim gambled using a betting agent? But he went to their betting site headquarter with no help given.

He used the betting agent of the betting platform to gamble and he won $11800 when I converted the local currency to dollar. He said the owner of the betting shop travelled abroad but he met the workers. The workers wanted to scam the man by not giving him any money.

The people involved that wanted to scam the man have been taken to court. They were granted bail with two sureties and the case has been adjourned to match 4 2024.

Some people are just very dubious

Unfortunately these sort of frauds are taking place all day, every day and in many different ways. You constantly have to be on your guard when it comes to looking after your finances. In this scenario, it seems like the person will have to rely on the courts to decide the outcome, if the company is not taking the theft by their employees seriously. It sounds like the owner of the casino is living up their life abroad, instead of making sure their staff are properly monitored and security is tight in their casino, hopefully the owner understands the bad reputation that comes from these sort of complaints is not worth it. If it is truly serious and ignored, you'd hope that the casino loses it's license to operate and is forced to pay additional fines on top of the original payout.
282  Economy / Economics / Re: saving vs investing - minimalism vs frugality on: February 14, 2024, 10:00:19 PM
in many economic topics of this forum i see many people have misconceptions..

minimalism vs frugality
alot of people think to save/invest requires being super frugal, live under a rock like a hermit and never spend. this is not the case
instead develop a minimalist lifestyle.
decide what actually important to your life. what things serve a purpose/function, gives lasting memories.. and spend wisely.
do you need all the clutter of dozens of branded shoes, clothing, household luxuries/decorations.
or can you find the minimalist unbranded options that serve a regular function to only need a couple items

develop it further. do you really need the lavish new luxury car, or just a minimal model that gets you from A to B
do you really need to pay premium transport, carry 5 luggage bags charging extra at airport, containing every item of clothing and gadget your house had. and then sitting in first class on a plane... or can you just put a weeks worth of underwear and shirts/pants into one bag and sit in economy.

frugality of hermit crab living can be a short term aid. but at somepoint going super frugal fails itself because living on "survival" mode too long is a mental break that cant last. the stress of surviving and not living will become its own downfall which usually ends up with people splurging in excess to get that feel good feeling to regain sanity.
so instead be wise about your spending. note wasteful. make purposeful decisions on things that make your life have good long term feelings/memories. and cut out on the wasteful stuff you usually dont care about a week after purchase

There is a very fine line between minimalism and frugality, a line which can sometimes get blurry in fact. Take toilet paper as another example, sometimes it is not wise to go for the cheapest option when it comes to the basics, even if it does the job - if you have the money it can be wise to upgrade to a reasonable standard. I'd say minimalism should be defined as a different topic entirely, because you can be minimalist but still a lavish spender. I think it's definitely important not to be wasteful with your resources and too many people fill their homes with unnecessary junk, buying the latest gadgets (on finance even) which they might use a couple times then sling in the back of a cupboard, but this is the society we live in that constantly bombards us that we need these "essential" things in our life.
283  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why in some religion gambling is forbidden? on: February 14, 2024, 09:53:26 PM
When we talk about religion we cannot dine the forbidden things like alcohol, prostitution and many other things in this topic we will discuss why do gambling is forbidden (Haram, interdit) .
So can you tell me why is it forbidden in your religion?
And for the non religious persons what you think ?

If you think back to the very beginning, religion about was control and rules in early societies. Too much alcohol, or prostitution, or gambling could have led to conflict so it would seem sensible to try to restrain it. However in modern society, at least for people who have jettisoned off the need for a crutch to fall back on, an almighty being that decides your fate, instead of just accepting that we are on a giant rock hurtling through space with no greater meaning, it is not necessary. Asking this question is the same as asking why anyone would choose to be religious, it is often just instilled into them by family and the society that they live in, something that is passed down through generations and rarely is this chain broken - especially when it is incorporated into the government class who can use it for extra manipulation and retaining powert.
284  Economy / Economics / Re: Some persons lacks financial sensibilities on: February 14, 2024, 09:47:22 PM
I don't know of the other side of the World, but in this side of the World, men are responsible for every financial responses in both marriage and the boy/girlfriends relationships.
The demands of financial expenses is being too much at the men sides.
Here, my friends girlfriend who is a university scholar that faces financial challenges is keeping my friend worried,
On the 14th Februarys which marks the "Valentines day"(lovers day) as it may imply, it is usually a special day here in this side of the World where couples and those in intimate relationships or even relatives do have it a remarkable day to spend together. It was likely a tradition that they must gift each other with what is affordable but gifted on a special offer.
The guys (men) are most expected to play this gifting role but here at this edge, my guy thought of having his girlfriend the sum of $50 cash believing she has more of financial issues to tackle than acquiring materialistic items (gifts). This is so she can utilize the money and add up to her educational fees or otherwise.
Now, she said the guy is not being caring and romantic simply because other persons to her notice are being gifted of materialistic items instead of money. She expected me to purchase her items with the gifted money.

This is just how awkward and lack of financial sensibilities some women could be who just sits, makes demands and gets what they wanted without having the compassions of how hard it is to make the money's they spends so carelessly.

It sounds like your country is yet to catch up with a decent society. It's better living in a world where men and women are equal on these things, both should be earning the same salaries - particularly when it comes to things where strength has zero input to the equation, like most office based jobs. What you are inadvertently saying is, you have financial power over women by claiming the this status quo exists around you and that's a rather sick mentality to live among. Women will never be fully liberated and free in such a society, but quite often this is what men around them want to do - suppress them and hold them back. I feel sorry for any women who live in such countries, as it often has roots in religious oppression and this manipulation should have been discarded a long time ago.
285  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A gambler lost what he couldn't afford to lost and broke his TV after game Lost on: February 13, 2024, 09:33:17 PM
Here in my hood, someone staked $1,000 to a bet with little odds and to all hope that there was no possibilities of him loosing the game but revise be the case that the game got cut off in just 3 minutes for the game over and then he could had cashed his winning.
It is quite unfortunate that he staked above what he could not afford to loose. So out of frustrations and anger he broke his TV on the process.

After his temper became calm, he ended up regretting to had lost his bet and went such a mile of destroying his TV.

He now makes two different lost counts at the caused of his inability to control his gambling emotions and his over confidence to had staked what he can't afford to loosed.

Anger is a wild emotion to control and some people are unable to do it. The fact that someone can get so angry that the red mist descends and they turn off all rational thinking is a very dangerous trait to possess. However I think it can be controlled, that control will come from using reasoned and rationale thought. In some interactions, like gambling, you must go into it with the acceptance that these companies spend a lot of money in order to make money from gamblers and they will do it very effectively - you have a high likelihood of losing anything you deposit. Not only that, certain games like anything you'll find in a casino against the house, are weighted in their favor, so you are destined to lose, when you accept these facts and possibilities it should be clear in your mind about the outcome before you start.
286  Economy / Economics / Re: Another war in the Middle East could be dire for the economy on: February 13, 2024, 07:59:38 PM
Over the past few decades, the rise of terrorism around the world and the power and economic competition between developed countries have intensified overall inflation. The way of superpower countries are exercising their power with it, the less developed and developing countries are suffering extremely financially. Those countries suffer from severe inflation. In the past decades, the world has seen several wars and its terrible consequences are known to all.
Oil prices are up due to recent unrest in the Middle East. And oil is one of the tools for the economy of the world.

If this warrior situation is not calm then what is the worst course for the people of the world.
Looking forward to thoughtful feedback. How Bitcoin can help in this case. I think Bitcoin is the strongest currency in the world

If you think about it another way, there is actually a perverse incentive for countries in the middle east - that produce massive amounts of oil which powers the world - to engage in more conflict in order to raise the price. If you look at a country like Iran for example, they are under economic sanctions which has a heavy impact on their economy and wider earning potential. However they produce some oil, which will sell for higher amounts if they cause the price to go up, so a few attacks here and there can be very beneficial from them without causing too much of a spiraling situation. However looking at it from another point of view, is much of the war like behavior is being driven by religious related reasons and that is unlikely to stop any time soon either.
287  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The person who can’t control emotions in gambling will never earn money from it on: February 13, 2024, 07:44:40 PM
Emotion:

The cause of the emotion in the gambling site because of the loss due to bad luck. The gambling loss mostly occurred due to the emotional inference to the game.If the gamblers loss the funds in the gambling site, they become emotionally weaker person. This cause for the random betting in the gambling site. The more you control your emotions will cause you to win more in the gambling site.

The gambling is the game with two possibilities, which is the winnings and losing. The winning happens if you use your strategies to make the money, the gamblers who failed to make use of the strategies are the loser at the end of the gambling. The winner of the gambling always make money from it,So he get positive emotions towards the game. The gamblers with more positive emotions are able to win more in the long run in the gambling site.

Nearly eighty percentage of the gamblers are doing gambling for the money making,So it was essential for the gamblers to make use of their strategies to win money from the gambling site. How your emotions affects your games, let me know your past experience.

This is very true and applies to many areas of life in general. Those who are erratic and cannot think clearly are destined to respond in strange, often damaging, ways to the world around them. Take someone who gets irrationally angry after they lose - they are liable to waste more money while they have a clouded mind and being angry doesn't benefit them in any way, plus they can sometimes take things too far and even become violent with much bigger consequences. People who are stable and rational thinkers will tend to follow a narrow path, they may get things wrong but at least over time they are refining their skills and implementing self improvement. There are many strategies that lie in between, but all rely on having clear thought processes.
288  Economy / Economics / Re: Is increase in minimum wage a good method to fight inflation? on: February 13, 2024, 07:38:31 PM
Over time, I've heard discussions about inflation and the rising cost of goods and services across almost every sector on the world economy.
However, suggestions have been made in various ways on how best to tackle the menace called Inflation. Recently I have personally thought that one of the ways to fight inflation in an economy is to increase minimum wage. More so there has been a back and forth argument on these, as some persons argue that the increase in minimum wage will rise the bar on commodities, because they feel hence you increase the purchasing powers, it will have a multiplier effect on the economy which might be challenging.

So guys, is increase in minimum wage not a good measure to fight inflation. Let's have your opinion.

Increasing the minimum wage is often a vote winner and many governments will push it as far as possible, sometimes too far, because it's the companies that have to pick up the bill for this increase - not increasing government expenditures. However it should be done delicately because it can actually cause businesses to slow down or reduce their spending on employment, plus it makes those who have got a few notches above minimum wage disincentivized and demoralized. Then again greedy companies are all too often raising prices while using inflation as a measuring stick, so it makes sense to force them to raise wages at the same time, but pushing too hard can cause a backlash on investment in the country.
289  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are there play and pay later casinos? on: February 12, 2024, 08:26:03 PM
It's been a year and half that I talked last with a family friend who is living in North America and finally, he replied my messages after so many sms sent out to his number, he told me about how he own 60k in gambling and I somehow feel sorry for him but at the same time I doubt this, because I don't see anyone talking about gambling debts before.

To play in any casino you have to come with your money or asset, or are there any casinos that allow play and pay later? Or I am thinking if maybe he used a credit card for gambling? We all know that debt is possible on cards..

I know some people likes taking loans or borrow money, but I know him too well, he always advice us to never take any loan for anything.

I know some are wondering why I don't ask him, he is way older than me and I don't want to ask him, I only told him to take things easy with himself, I don't know if asking can make him feel bad even more.

So is gambling debt one way or other possible without the person taking loan or borrowing money?

There are all sorts of claims out there, and frankly enough promotions running that you might be able to walk away with some free cash if you are clever when taking advantage of one-off welcome offers, but this "play and pay later logic" simply doesn't work for casinos. Casinos have bills to pay - staff, servers, licensing, taxes, etc. and their very business is making money from players who pay up front. They would just end up turning into debt collectors and chasing money, plus it would change the dynamic completely. Players would just play continuously until they either won or decided that they will declare bankruptcy, if there was a genuine way to enforce such debt collection, it doesn't make for a good business.
290  Economy / Economics / Re: are we returning to stone age? on: February 12, 2024, 08:00:52 PM

i cant help. but seeing everything is in the rapid decline, I'm not know-it-all immortal being, but the rate of declining is insane. everyone treating life as YOLO, like the VIDEO GAME, where you can reset and replay the GAME again!

it is not real! the system clearly is getting glitched and out of control, I dont know what better words to describe this phenomena, education is on the rapid decline to a point it is like a city where simon quest occured, and the town is ravaged of gossip that is not true but a big LIES, such as "dont look at the death star or you would die!" the fittest survivalism is going full throttle, it is unbelievable some global power must be behind this insane decivilization, idk how they did so, they doing this virtually undetectable. can this be made into a film or into history chapter?

Or none of you have aware of what I'm talking about? it is scary moment I'm seeing something totally abnormal around me.

there is nothing I can do in real life, got totally silenced, this is where I can even sound my concern.

what I fear most is the lifespan would soon decline to cowboy age where average life of the peasant is about 30yo due to the poor healthcare and knowledge, also based on barbaric cowboy beating each other on street trying to impress girls.

There's nothing new to any of the things you've said, it has existed for a long time but just appeared in different forms. In the current super connected world we do share information faster and it can bombard you if you are not careful, endless scrolling through tiktok or youtube can change the gratification level that your mind seeks out. However in general we are still progressing, if only we can keep our "leaders" in check - because that seems to be where quality is in the decline, stuck with decrepit old men who are either senile or crazy, or billionaires who have a warped moral compass. On your last point, men have been fighting others in order to impress women since the beginning of time and will do so for a long time to come.
291  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Where Do You Want To Go To If You Win $2 million On Lottery on: February 12, 2024, 07:47:42 PM
This discussion came out when a friend told me that he planned to move out of the country if he happened to win the biggest post in the lottery at that time the lottery pot was almost $2 million in our currency, he then asked me where is the best place in the world to moved in case he wins a lottery,

So I check the internet for the best place and I stumble this article

So if you happen to win an equivalent of $2 million in your currency, will you move out of the country, from the article I posted and the poll I created from where country you would like to move to in case you win $2 million, you also have the option to stay in your country and why?

I prefer to stay in my country, because the living cost is very cheap here in my country, $2 million is very much enough for all my family up to three generations and I can even help my country by setting up businesses.

Saudi Arabia on this list? What an odd place to include, especially since they do not allow gambling and are possibly one of the most insular places on the planet - very adverse to strangers, particularly those who do not share the same religion. There's also the fact they are very rich, thanks to oil, so your $2 million would not go very far or make you look very wealthy in such a country. I'd actually like to spread it around Europe, maybe a place in Spain and use it as a base for travelling around. You'd have to invest it wisely though because it would be surprisingly easy to burn through that sort of amount if you are reckless with it. It'd be hard to make it go as far in a place like London, where a basic property on the outskirts can start around the half a million mark.
292  Economy / Economics / Re: One of the biggest problem in our society is that average person don't have on: February 12, 2024, 07:29:08 PM
Average person don't have access to capital flow.
And cryptocurrency should be working that way like the average person so everybody can have access to capital and make wealthy themselfes and family.
Now If you go to the bank to ask money even If they see you have good skills good knowledge they still don't give you If you not meet the criteria of requirements.
But to meet with those requirements it's allmost impossible. (The game is rigged)
And even If you get the funds you pay back with high % you end up just working for those who got money it's humilation but all they have done is just they been born into right family the upper class to get good education so they can be privileged and If you meet with them and talk many of them  they are not genius at all but what they have in common is that they want to get profit from someone else hard work and they can do that only because they are the very few people who got access to capital and most of the people don't.

I happened to watch "dragon den" show i see that people there they acting like big hedge funds does it so they just looking for people who want to be working for them for just little money what they offering so all those talented people will do the hard work and top on that they agree to get humilated on tv and then they will be working for capitalists, it's always easy to do business If you have access to capital and money that's the key to keep you poor.
With cryptocurrency everybody can access to endless liquity and finances and that's nice the average person without education or even financial background can earn money here without rigged rules or restrictions.

Let's cut the long story short the system doesn't serve us the way we can be wealthy.
Cryptocurrency is here no restrictions no limits and only your imagination how much you can earn.

The average person lives life day to day, with little thought for the future or how to spend their money wisely. They sit around all evening watching TV, with little thought for improving themselves or developing new ways to be financially free, they spend $2000 to the latest iPhone every year to get an extra megapixel on their 50 megapixel camera, the put a sofa on finance for 5 years at 10% or buy the $100k car with $1k monthly payments each month - then wonder why they never get ahead. These people don't want or need your sympathy, they have the ability to reassess how they want to live at any time they choose, nor should they be given limitless borrowing ability for whatever miracle boredom cure they determine to spend their money on next.
293  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Would you quit gambling for a friend? on: February 11, 2024, 08:05:44 PM
So I heard a story of some acquaintances that in their friend group, some person really got addicted recently.
At first it was just fun and game, they would sit together and play some slots together in a big screen with some 10€ or so for as much as this would last them with small stake spins. And this is something they would do on big occasions. Only when together as a group and only for big days like birthday parties etc.

But the thing is, unbeknownst to them, one person in their friend group was really compulsive. So in the course of a few months, he became really addicted. He would spend much of his own money from his salary on slots and sports betting, eventually losing most of it regularly every month. Then on nearly every get together he would ask his friends to chip in so they can play slots this time in his account. Every time asking for more significant amounts too.

This guy hasn't caused any trouble to his friends but it's a worrying situation to see him waste most of his salary every month... So now the other guys were contemplating to quit their poker playing hobby because it was really affecting their friend negatively. And they had a somewhat regular get-together to play poker with very small stakes just for the fun of it. It's a petty that they might have to abandon their poker games but to them it's either that or abandoning their friend and worsening his compulsion.

Would you do the same for a friend? Me personally I think I would have just confronted such a friend and told them to seek help instead of me altering my lifestyle for his benefit. If they didn't seek help to the point that it was affecting me I would've just stopped hanging out with them silently I think. A friend would've had to be a real good one to make an exception at least.

Frankly someone that starts going down that path sounds a bit like a leach that is not respecting their friends, if they are constantly asking to borrow money. It is one thing to waste your own cash on such pursuits, but when you run out - it's really time to evaluate your choices and stop if you're in such a dire situation. Why should a group of friends, who have their lives and finances in order, give up a fun activity because one person in the group has lost all sense of control, they should simply not get invited to this particular gathering any more. There are plenty of non-gambling related activities that you could do with them, which would probably help them break the cycle, without impacting on the rest of the group socializing like this.
294  Economy / Economics / Re: Insurance is important on: February 11, 2024, 07:59:04 PM
I don't know who needs to hear this but you need to get insurance if you have assets that are your source of income and it can be insurable. This may not mean much to a lot of folks in developed countries because they're familiar with it, but a lot (and I mean a lot) of people in underdeveloped countries don't care about insurance.

I've read stories of people who were okay financially going broke because they have spent all they had to treat an illness for themselves, their children, or loved ones. I'm not saying insurance is our personal lord and savior, but it can help you in tight situations.

Around November last year, I volunteered to join a local and small NGO that was taking food, drugs, and other supplies to flood victims.
For context of how big the flood was, we used speedboats on roads and it was as though we were on a high sea.
Experts gave lectures on how to prepare for a flood and not wait for it to be too late. Some of the people we met told their stories.

We met one woman whose case I found very interesting.
She had a farm; a fishery and a poultry farm. The poultry was much bigger than the fishery. The farm was so big and established it made her thousands of dollars monthly in gross income. The flood took her by surprise, she was able to rescue some feeds and animals, but she lost so much of it.
Now let's ignore the fact that she was careless for not believing the warnings that a very big flood was coming because, in her words "In my 56 years of being alive and my 17+ years of doing this business, I've never experienced the tiniest bit of flood"
Let's focus on the fact that neither her farm nor a single thing on the farm was insured despite generating that kind of income.

Because of the damage we saw, the NGO started a campaign for the government to help these farmers with grants and loans so they can get back on their feet (but y'all know how politics gets). This allowed us to visit this woman at her farm. She's back on her feet, but it could take years to get back to what she was before the flood.
If her farm was insured, it most likely wouldn't have taken her that long.

There are many more people like this. A cab driver loses his care and he's back to square one because that's his source of income. Others get an illness that is expensive to treat and they go broke trying to pay for the treatment.
A husband and father die unexpectedly and leave nothing behind, leaving the wife to struggle alone to take care of the children. This takes a family that was comfortably a middle-class family to a lower-class family.

If you make money, get health insurance for you and your family, and insure your assets that are a source of income, businesses. Get a life insurance to secure your family's future.
There's a saying " hope for the best and plan for the worst".

Insurance can be important for your most valuable assets like a house or car, in fact it is often mandatory either by law or by agreement with a mortgage provider. However sometimes people get unnecessary insurance for things like older phones, where they may end up paying much more than necessary and would be better off putting that cash into their own account because they could probably pay for a phone after a year or two of such contributions. Other insurance can actually be so expensive it is not worth the cost and may waste a lot of money, like medical insurance while you're young or job insurance that will pay out a certain amount if you lose your job in certain ways.
295  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does even freezing a customer's account curb irresponsible gambling? on: February 11, 2024, 07:46:23 PM
If suddenly you went on a binge-gambling out of a lack of self-control or something else. For example, you deposit money in rapid succession after a series of losses and the casino management freezes your account. And when you call their customer support, they tell you that your account has been frozen for 3 weeks and the reason why they carried out that measure was because they suspected that you were gambling irresponsibly and decided to take that measure so that you can call yourself back to order, will you feel furious, cuss out, sign out of your account and register on another casino and continue betting. Does even freezing a customer's account curb irresponsible gambling or betting addiction?

People that deep into an addiction, or who may have fell into the deep end in a particularly bad session, are unlikely to see it as a good thing at the time. Nor would it necessarily stop them from gambling, if they are able to simply open an account at another company and start again. However it is definitely responsible behavior and should be encouraged by more gambling companies. You would imagine that most people have a certain baseline, where they might spend say $100 a week in regular play, so when someone starts dropping $1,000 or $10k in their account, it would make sense to question what has changed. Maybe just having some sort of automated mechanism like not allowing more than double your previous week's deposit, to stop erratic play like that.
296  Economy / Economics / Re: keep pleasures without incomes aside and Chase after profits on: February 11, 2024, 07:41:37 PM
I am not financially stable yet, so I am very much grateful for the appreciative increments in the Bitcoin market (bull-run) on going, I decided to cancel our marriage anniversary celebration because I insighted that there is more to gain In my continues hodling while the markets skyrockets than selling off my hodled coins just for ceremonial pleasures which can not profer me financial returns other than consuming the ones saved.
Now, my wife seized not to understand what my logical points about this are because she is not the one providing for the family.
As a woman she is, I clearly understood that they are attracted to pleasures especially on activities that attracts public attentions. These species of humans (women) fails to understand that it is money that afford those pleasury materials and activities they craves for which one has to utilize himself logically in economical situations so as to create financial balanced system before chasing after those financial consuming activities without the potentials of yielding incomes.

Wow, I'm surprised you have a wife with the ridiculously stupid way you talk about women, or at least you have the kind of wife that you deserve - one that you don't want to treat equally and one who will accept that mentality. Maybe it is more related to the society that you currently live in, than a reflection on the "species of humans (women)" - as many societies still do not treat women equally or fairly. In many middle eastern countries, it is still frowned upon for women to take a job and contribute equally, but this is such a backwards caveman type mentality that stifles these countries. Many of them would still be scrambling around in the sand due to this way of thinking, if it were not for the oil that has brought them a lot of money.
297  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why do coaches get sacked over poor performance of players? on: February 11, 2024, 07:18:56 PM
I have followed various sporting activities and I noticed something that hardly make complete sense to me and that is the rationale behind firing a coach when the players do perform poorly. What drew my attention to this is a news flash about Jose Mourinho's case in Roma. According to the article, Mourinho left Roma angry and feeling betrayed by the players. Is it even possible that players will intentionally lose matches because they want their coach out at the expense of their own careers? If this is true, why will the club management reprimand the coach and not the players? I know some people will argue that the coach is the leader of the team and should be responsible for building the unity and love the team need to play in high morale, but in a case the players happen to have hated the coach and have decided to lose matches as punishment for their coach, is it right to fire the coach?

Ultimately poor performance reflects badly on individual players, but it is specifically the job of a manager to figure out how to make the team cohesive. If a manager is unable to do that, by any number of means - like changing training, combining players who work well together, coaching them in a certain way or building incentives, then they are failing at their particular job. Sometimes managers are pushed around by club owners for no reason, take Wayne Rooney who was shoehorned in to Birmingham City a little while ago - not because he has a great or skillful track record as a manager - but because "celebrity appeal" outweighed that fact. They actually shoved off a perfectly good manager and Rooney did not last long anyway.
298  Economy / Economics / Re: Carbon markets and climate change mitigation, Are we in the right direction? on: February 09, 2024, 07:47:23 PM
Almost all of us have heard of climate change, and perhaps some of us have begun to feel it, as emissions trading schemes (ETS) and carbon offset projects are the basic mechanisms in fighting climate change, but what is happening now is that the carbon market has turned, instead of a solution to the problem, into a mechanism to encourage countries to continue emitting. The emissions trading system has succeeded in turning carbon into a commodity.

In trading carbon credits, (tCO2e) weighing one ton is used for sale, but it is noted that the total market value increases every year, and industrialized countries have begun to encourage projects that are harmful to the environment at the expense of purchasing carbon credits from other countries, as industrialized countries increase their investments that are harmful to the environment, while poor countries are The first to be affected by climate change.

Carbon credits are a brilliant idea, but as with many problems of the world it is getting everyone to cooperate with implementation that is the hardest part. The current biggest polluters, places like China and India, argue that they are behind on industrialization and want to catch up, but by the time they've caught up - especially with the scale of their population - we would likely have entered a time of irreversible change. Everyone needs to be signing up now, in a fair way, or we will be long past the point of recovery by the time it gets working.

How do you guys manage to take a break in gambling? I’m not asking for advice but rather I’m just interested to know what you are doing on your own or if you really do a break.

I recently decided to take a break since I want to hold my crypto due to its increasing value and I don’t to spend it while it’s giving me passive profit. I just claiming bonus now or anything that is free to still enjoy gambling without risking my money.

What is the instances that makes you take a break in gambling?

Gambling should be the break, a small form of side entertainment. I'd say if you've got to the point where you need to give yourself a break, you may be over gambling or even in a state of addiction. At that point it may be worth leaving the scene entirely for a much longer time, like 3 months or even a year. You should be easily able to break off and even skip gambling entirely on any given day, therwise you might have formed a habit. It's worth considering that you don't have any profit until it's locked in and converted to something you'll actually spend, but I hope it continues to go up for all.
300  Economy / Economics / Re: If Banks make money out of loans then they should reward those who borrow on: February 09, 2024, 07:32:20 PM
Yes If money doesn't existing without someone borrowing this then each person who i use credit or debt Will be rewarded by Banks.
My friend is full debt with mortgage but i told Him to not worry you are just victim of bank and financial system you are not only one.
I Understood allready that we Are all just victims of scam and that's ITS not If but when people will just say banks we don't need you If we don't get rewards.
Becouse when i stake crypto i get profit but banks don't give nothing so i see people wake up and fight against financial scam and Understood we Are just the victims of crimes i don't use Banks anymore and told my bank you gona share your profit with me or get Lost my face.
So i closed my bank and full crypto and Im happy so many people do the Same now becouse everybody Understood that money comes from the debt so more we take debt more money created so i should get rewards for taking debt then If not Im out of financial system not just me a lot more people becouse the system made us victims.
I told my friend tell bank that it's a scam and his victim of bank scheme so all his friends tell Same now to their Banks and flahing front of bankers binance atm debit card.
Now the Even bankers himself might Understood ship is sinking and fastest they get on crypto and btc the better changes to save themselfes becouse this system not working i told my friend before bank Takes his house burn it down or beat up so the bank Will get broken House.
That's how it is people now Understood If they been treated bad they fight back ....
It's unfair they made mortgage rates higher without notice first so we are victims and If anyone struggle financially they now Understood it's the system and we all victims ....Same goes with cars people now smashing it up cars before give to financial swimdlers

You fail to grasp some really basic financial concepts, yet continue to make broad statements like you have a clue about the topic. It's like saying "Apple makes money from iPhones so should make their phones cheaper" or the same analogy with coca cola. The basic logic is missing entirely. Banks make most of their money, profit, the thing they are encouraged to make by theirs owners - the shareholders - and not random strangers like you who don't understand how basic economics work. Besides that, bank shares will make up a fair proportion of retirement pensions, so it would also effect every single person who saves that way if they did.
