801  Economy / Economics / Re: Running faucet business in 2023 still possible? on: August 27, 2023, 06:06:41 PM
From someone who have claimed faucets almost all his days in 2016-2018 and managed to make some good money from just faucet claiming, I can't help but thinking how those running faucets at that time making money from it.

Since I don't see many people talking about this today I will like to ask for your help if any one knows of any places that I can learn about how to run my own faucet and how to make money out of it? .

Running Doge coin and few other old cheap coins like Litecoin Faucet is still doable, I can even add the likes of Shiba too,  where do you think I should start from? What do I need to learn about?

Lastly, what advice do you have for my goal?

Faucets were basically a gimmick that existed in the earlier stages of bitcoin, long before the prices started spiking and drawing in so much interest across the world. I don't know the situation with all the altcoins out there, so maybe they are still a thing for some of the newer and lower trafficked coins, but you're not likely to see them with any semi popular coin. Simply because it is just giving away free money, you'll have a certain set of people who abuse them as well and make it unfeasible to keep going. Besides that the amounts they were giving away at the time were worth fractions of a penny, which the owner had hoped to offset by getting people to do certain tasks or just displaying advertising towards visitors.
802  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: do anyone have done this? with gambling platforms on: August 27, 2023, 05:14:25 PM
anyone deposited very less amount and luckily won a big jackpot like a 100x or 500x or 1000x of base bet and withdrawn without kyc or without facing any problem from the platform?

if yes, how much was that amount? and what was the casino?

i seen many people complaining about they don't give big wins easily or just don't give by making unanswerable queries like very hard KYC, freezing accounts, etc. this problem is very common with trusted casino's also/

do anyone withdrawn successfully the winning amount and if yes what was the process, it was seamless or you need to pass a hard kyc?

You have to be aware that many people think they can get around multi-account restrictions and make the same attempt at bonuses, which are only ever calculated to be given to one person for one time. They may claim that the casino is refusing to pay out, there may be the odd instance at less reputable casinos where this actually happens, however they quite often hide a lot of the details that give away the fact they are abusing these bonus promotions. It might surprise you, but the largest casinos are making plenty of profit and don't really need to dispute the odd cases where someone wins back a little chunk, but they most definitely will investigate if any indicator looks suspicious on the account and providing KYC is a pretty standard request now.
803  Economy / Economics / Re: India just bought 1 million barrels of oil using rupees instead of USD on: August 27, 2023, 02:09:27 PM
Historical background:

With the end of the "gold standard" where there was a fixed price for gold and every currency linked to the value of gold, the gold standard was abandoned in 1971, causing a free fall in the value of the dollar and an insane rise in inflation rates, the deal that arose in 1973 between the United States and Saudi Arabia Things returned to normal, and what is known as the petrodollar appeared to us, which includes pricing, trading and recycling of oil and the money generated from it in US dollars only.

I am not trying here to say that the system that created the petrodollar system may come to an end, but some changes have already begun to occur, as the Central Bank of India unveiled a new framework for settling global trade in rupees.

Quote
First, the two giants agreed to settle trade in their local currencies — in an effort to cut transaction costs and eliminate dollar conversions. They also agreed to set up a real-time payment link to simplify cross-border money transfers.

The agreements will enable “seamless cross-border transactions and payments, and foster greater economic cooperation,” the Reserve Bank of India explained in a recent statement.

https://finance.yahoo.com/news/dollar-being-dethroned-india-just-201500390.html?guccounter=1

Can we say that trading using local currencies has become an attractive trend, especially with countries beginning to diversify their reserves, or is everything that is happening an attempt to put political pressure on the United States?

The reality of the situation occurring here, is less the fact that the US dollar is not being used as the currency of preference and more to do with the games that the UAE has proven they are willing to play. The are most likely trafficking Russian oil in disguise, because the UAE doesn't produce that much oil compared to it's neighbors. In reality the UAE is probably the middleman, and is trying to send a statement that India is a stronger country without the implication of saying that Russia is being forced to accept a less useful currency in return for their oil. The world is changing, however this is not even a blip in the huge volumes that are being transacted every day and frankly nobody is that keen on accepting the Indian rupee unless it's the only choice they have. This is a marketing ploy that some simpler minds accept without understanding.
804  Economy / Gambling / Re: Concept of Halal Casino on: August 27, 2023, 02:01:48 PM
Is there any concept of Halal Casino  Huh
By the way Mufti Ismail ibn Musa Menk is an Islamic Scholar from Zimbabwe and also he is leading the fatwa department in that country.

No, quite simply. Gambling is not permitted in any form that anyone here would recognize. Unless they are somehow twisting the definition of a casino to match whatever profit motives they are hoping to produce from this setup. He would not be the first or last person who is trying to manipulate a religious following in order to squeeze some money out of them. I highly doubt that he is genuinely behind this, or at the very least he has engineered enough support around the top of the government of the country to get away with such things - because there is no doubt that he will be looked down upon by other muslim majority countries. He is basically doing this out of greed, if it genuinely is him behind it.
805  Economy / Economics / Re: Having a problem a Personal Finance? on: August 25, 2023, 09:22:42 PM
       -   You, yes, you. Are you tired? Can't make progress? Or every time you move forward, something bad always happens? Are you in a situation where you have to start from scratch again? Where does your problem start? in money? Why do you always have no money? Is it because of your responsibilities for your family or because you just don't have spending discipline? It is important that you know what the root of your problem is? Maybe the reason you are not making progress is because you spend a lot, so every time you have an emergency, you move your savings? Or sometimes you can borrow a cape. How to handle money What is real personal finance? What do you have to do to learn it? There are some things that can help you in this matter, and some of them are:

[a.] Read books related to personal finance.

[b.] Always hang out here on the Bitcointalk forum; you can see and learn a lot from this platform.

[c.] Watch videos that can give you inspiration to become better. And mingle with people who have a positive outlook on life.

I would definitely say a and c are good points to observe, because you should always be seeking knowledge if you want to increase your wealth pile. However option b is not really necessary, you might pick up some information here - like how to trade, or maybe you get into the collectibles section and work your way up as a specialty skill. However in general you're likely to make much more wealth using knowledge garnered outside of these forums. The world is a big place with many parts to it and crypto is just a tiny portion of it and it is a tiny fraction of the financial field itself, so you can learn how to make plenty of money without every interacting with it but you might keep a small bit as diversification in your portfolio.
806  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Referral bonuses are waste of time on: August 25, 2023, 09:13:18 PM
In my opinion, I think referral bonuses are typically waste of one's time because of its processes that seems so impossible to claim and recently I came across a thread
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5437603.0 seeking for Casinos with paid referral bonuses and I tool out time to read most of the responses there and they all seem impossible to claim referral bonuses.
I wish to know if anyone has successfully claimed referral bonuses and how easy was the process and what Casino did you claim those bonuses

Referral bonuses are not really intended to be a long term income stream, they're mostly targeting friend referrals and they are not expecting many people to draw in people this way - because generally you'll not be introducing non-gambler friends into a casino for you to benefit in some way from it. They're just intended as a perk, where you might be able to personally benefit from one or two like minded people in your circle. This means that any bonuses you get from them will be rather small and usually a fixed sum, instead of earning some sort of longer term commission from anything they deposit - which affiliate programs would enable you to do, , but that is a different field entirely.
807  Economy / Economics / Re: It's good that financial instutions Understood that they need to use crypto on: August 25, 2023, 05:45:55 PM
Yes paypal use crypto but instead of eth many users was expecting the TRON blockchain its faster cheaper and more used.
Eth transactions still too expensive i hope they start use TRON soon

You're wrong, plain and simple. It's laughable that you cite Paypal, which have actually just paused and further purchases of crypto currency until an indeterminable date, so are currently looking like they want to back out of the market. Besides that, Paypal were allowing people to trade cash 20 years ago, long before crypto came into existence and they flourished without it all that time. Heck, even Elon Musk got rich from the money that paypal was bringing in from transaction fees and they had everything perfectly manageable on arrays of servers. Financial institutions don't need crypto in the slightest to function, banks have been running even longer than Paypal and successfully moving money around - much faster and at cheaper cost (at least to the institution. Crypto is a threat to their profitability, so they are likely adapting to incorporate or subdue the effects if possible.
808  Economy / Gambling / Re: Thought's on many major fiat-crypto payment gateways ditching casino business's? on: August 24, 2023, 07:05:32 PM
Hey guys, so I've been doing some digging into fiat-crypto casino payment gateways specifically. Right now Stake.com and Bc.game use Moonpay for their "buy crypto" function, however after contacting Moonpay, Transak and a few other major fiat-crypto payment gateways I've learned that these providers no longer accept new casino business.

In the case of Moonpay they are upholding their existing agreements with casino providers (for now I guess) but new operators are only being accepted with casino licenses in the UK and USA (both of which require their own unique gaming licenses) as well as a reputable international license (e.g. curacao, malta, antigua etc.).

Transak on the other hand are just straight up removing themselves from the gambling industry altogether.

I think it's a real shame that new providers won't have access to reputable fiat to crypto on-ramps, it creates an uneven playing field as the big guys get treated differently.

This area of finance is often considered "grey" because there are much larger amounts of fraud taking place, sometimes with dishonest people placing bets and then later claiming that it was not them to get their money back. Which requires careful nurturing and intensive investigation, resulting in more expensive fees going to these businesses. A random person that is emailing these finance companies is going to get stonewalled and receive negative answers, because they don't want any potential bad publicity in the current world which is hyper sensitive. These companies negotiate deals with casinos behind closed doors and try to stay as hidden in the background as possible, they're not interested in announcing how they gather new business so gave you these answers but it doesn't make it true.
809  Economy / Economics / Re: Netherlands enters a technical recession on: August 24, 2023, 06:51:13 PM
A "technical recession" is formally announced when a country's GDP falls for two consecutive quarters. The Dutch GDP fell by -0.4% during the first quarter, followed by another fall of 0.3%, bringing it into a technical recession by the official defintion.

But it's not techncially a recession. It's worse, it's actually Stagflation because inflation is also high sitting at 6.0%. They probably don't want the general public to know what caused the Stagflation and keep blaming it on the "supply side" of things.

https://think.ing.com/snaps/the-netherlands-in-technical-recession/

Another country, Hungary, has also announced to be going through the longest "technical recession".

https://think.ing.com/snaps/longest-technical-recession-on-record-in-hungary/

But like the situation in the Netherlands, Hungary's inflation is very high at 20%. That's true Stagflation - a time when the monetary and economic systems are out of control.

Who is this "they" who "don't want the general public to know"? In free societies, unlike in places like Russia and China, information is readily available from all sorts of different sources for anyone that goes looking for knowledge. Recessions are a natural part of the economic cycle and you'd have to be pretty dumb to think that they are not or that it's shameful to be in one, only people who sap up rubbish from leaders like Putin or Xi Jinping would fall for this mistake. Inflation is happening in varying levels in countries all around the world, so again it is nothing special to be happening in the Netherlands and is actually a pretty normal situation to be facing right now, that will recover.
810  Economy / Gambling / Re: Loophole in stopping Money Laundering through Wagering on: August 24, 2023, 06:37:32 PM
As we know that most gambling sites will require you to gamble and wager your whole balance once, before you can cash out or withdraw from the gambling site and they take this measure so people do not do money laundering whereby deposit and withdraw without gambling.

Now the point here is that on the gambling site, there are many easy winning bets with odds like 1.01x etc. If the money lauder is sensible he can easily be wagering the whole amount by placing a few bets where the odds are very low and the winning chances are 99%.

So does this mean that there is a loophole here and the money launderers can easily by pass this wagering requirement?

Gambling sites are very aware of the possibilities and casinos have been traditionally targets for this activity, so it definitely does not go unnoticed by anyone. Money laundering with bitcoin is actually not generally possible in the way you're describing, as the actual wallets are disconnected from the balances when bets are taking place. The casino will often have control of the player wallet, even pooling lots of them together, but keep track of balances that the player is allowed to withdraw by a different mechanism. If a player deposits money, it doesn't move back and forth between wallets when under control of the casino, but rather it might be "balanced" or have funds paid to the casino at the end of the day, otherwise it would go out the same route it came in.

How about all of the users who don't know how to speak English fluently like anonymousxm, and all of the users who don't have the emotional patience or thought to make a thread here on bitcointalk? How many more consumers and value of BTC are locked because of ridiculous/impossible KYC restrictions/conditions?

I've investigated many complaints and I say that you are lucky so many users are in your pocket, or else you and your business would not exist here.

Do you always write such nonsense? Everyone else here always responds in English, do you think that a response should always be delivered in hundreds, if not thousands of different languages?

This is an accusation only at this point, anyone can come here and type anything they like - it does not make it true automatically or there may be other factors that they strategically choose to omit. It is being investigated by a representative now they are aware of it. It doesn't sound like you investigate anything at all, just fling around your emotionally driven biases.
812  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin price hits the rock as Space X sells all it's BTC holdings on: August 23, 2023, 08:51:44 PM
Shocking right? Meh, Elon Musk looks to be trending again this year in relation to one of his company selling off Bitcoin. Last year, it was recorded that Tesla sold 75% of it's Bitcoin holdings in Q2 and now, Space X , the aerospace technology firm he owns sells off all it's $373m worth of Bitcoin at the drop of a hat!
This move has further set BTC price to dangle on the precipice because as at yesterday, the digital currency was trading at $28,565.28 but fell sharply to $25,392.05 Thursday night before rebounding to $26,685. In the space of 10mins, it's price falls down to levels only experienced since June 20!

Although, there's no clear cut reason as to why he did it, this is just a bad time for him to develop cold feet and sell because it could trigger other institutional investors to follow suit.
I wonder if this move was borne out of a lack of confidence or just a temporary move by Space X because Elon Musk's moves can be flaky sometimes.

Elon is only looking out for himself right now. He made a complete joke of himself by overpaying for twitter by maybe 20 billion dollars and it is bleeding money on top of that, while also losing extra value because he is has zero self control and spouts so much nonsense that it scares away advertisers. He only got into crypto because he saw how much he could sway the price, in many other fields this would be classified a pump n dump or insider trading - he was lucky to avoid the regulators in many situations. He is simply happy that bitcoin somewhat recovered from the lows, because you better believe he was buying when it was worth $40k+ per bitcoin and has probably still lost money overall on it.
813  Economy / Economics / Re: The refusal of the country from its own Central Bank on: August 23, 2023, 08:27:58 PM
https://finance.yahoo.com/news/argentina-milei-vows-pay-country-184053945.html?
"Argentina’s leading presidential candidate Javier Milei pledged to close the nation’s central bank while saying he would make every effort to avoid a default on the country’s sovereign debt if he wins the October vote.

More drastically, he also plans to shutter the central bank — which he said has “no reason to exist” — and dollarize the $640 billion economy.

“Central banks are divided in four categories: the bad ones, like the Federal Reserve; the very bad ones, like the ones in Latin America; the horribly bad ones; and the Central Bank of Argentina,” he said.""

___

And what's the problem? Are some countries willing to lose their financial independence and use someone else's currency?
Of course, all central banks follow the recommendations of the IMF and BIS, but this is a very radical idea.

In reality most governments understand that a strong and independent central bank is a positive thing for their country. Argentina has literally faced many decades of poor governance from politicians, that doomed it's economy and thus prevented the central bank from doing their job effectively because they were always fire fighting. They might as well do it now, since the government has crippled the monetary situation in the country and it basically works off a black market US dollar economy anyway, however instead of it being a bold and strong act, they are really just accepting that they are so poor at handling money that they pass over the responsibility to America instead, completely weak.
814  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: I will pass KYC later is a bad idea on: August 22, 2023, 08:34:57 PM
I don't know where some gamblers are getting their confidence from, do you know that online casinos can keep rejecting your ID after you made some high amount of money? Some people cares about winning first before passing KYC, it's cool you believe that you won't always win but the luck comes when we least expected.

Imagine winning and you find it hard to pass KYC, trapping your money on the casino for like ever.

It's not always the casinos fault, I know some are dubious but the thing is KYC verification is something you should first deal with before making your first deposit.

Online casinos can be frustrating at times, some casino won't accept your submitted document even when you haven't make any deposit on the platform yet, so always confirm your identity first.

Submit your identity and wait for approval, do not be in haste to make deposit first, because the identity you submitted without a green approval from the team can still be rejected, take your time to get the passed approval first before proceeding with gambling.

This is good advice, at least with any of the more legitimate crypto casinos that you'll find here. Legislation is changing all the time, in different countries all over the world, so you don't want to wake up and find out your whole gambling history has been exposed or your wallet has been seized because you tried to hide behind anonymity. There are genuine companies behind these sites and they are increasingly based in Europe or America, which means that they will be subject to all kinds of financial auditing and they are not going to risk jail time or large fines, if it means protecting a handful of people who don't want to share identities. It actually makes them more likely to offer bonuses and promotions as well, because they know there is less chance of "fake" accounts milking them.
815  Economy / Economics / Re: How to avoid over expenses and have discipline on: August 22, 2023, 08:30:20 PM
Isn't it stressful when we spend more than expected, right? especially if we follow a budget, having a smart spending habit is a good way to avoid such situations or events.

1. Make a realistic budget
In budgeting it is important that we consider everything. It should be realistic and achievable, It cannot be said that the budget is only 20$ for a week for food if you are 8 people who will eat at home. Plan what to eat every day and budget for it. Write down all the ingredients or how much to buy and how much it will cost in pmashae or gasoline if there is a car. Do everything with consideration and do it consistently.
Stop yourself from buying things you don't need, like buying coffee at starbucks when you can just buy 3 in 1 sachet coffee that just tastes like coffee. Because if we cannot prevent such expenses, include them in the budget.

2. Find out what triggers the cost
It's important that we know this if it's stress, boredom, pressure from friends, need to follow the trend and so on. It is important that we have discipline in these things if you want to avoid overspending. For example, if you're bored, you hang out online shopping at Lazada, Amazon, and others, this habit should be replaced with something more productive, such as cleaning the house and others where you can avoid it and do something good.

3. Break down luxury expenses
Try to list the things you have spent and separate the luxury and the things you have spent. It is important that you know what is really needed and the word I deserve it.

4. Make the 24 hour rule
This rule helped me when I was building in this way. Because when I want to buy something, I put it off for 24 hours, and during this time I learn how to assess these things. Usually the excitement we experience disappears immediately after a few hours. You imagine the sacrifices you will make when you accomplish them. Like the small savings you have or sometimes we will even borrow the money we will use here. At least in this way we can avoid impulsive buying or bursts of emotion.

5. Set a budget
Allocate a limit on expenses, know all areas of expenses from food, rent, electricity, water, shopping and other things related to spending. Once you set all of your spending limits, make sure to follow them and do it because everything will be ignored if you don't do it.

That is some really good advice and tips, but there is definitely a fine line to walk which can vary with age. There is no point saving all your money and living like a pauper in your 20's and 30's only to realize that your body cannot perform as well in your 40's and 50's. When you are young you should definitely maximize your energy, travel as much as possible to broaden your horizons and even waste money occasionally trying different things even if you figure out they are rubbish. However you should avoid being too materialistic or chasing the latest phone or car, which can be expensive to own, in order to give the appearance that you're richer and for no other reason.
816  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gamble Responsibly on: August 22, 2023, 07:44:47 PM
There are many disadvantages of excessive gambling that we need to talk about, and I do hope that newbies who plan to start gambling will learn something from this thread.

Gambling is not for everyone, some people tend to always get attached to whatever they do in their lives, too caring, too foodie, too protective, all these comes with disadvantages too, because I believe that too much of everything is bad.

If you are someone like this, stay away from gambling.

In the Gambling case, it's a different story entirely, if humans can get used to drugs, alcohol, and other harmful things in this category how much more trying to make money off gambling?

It is easier to start dteaming about quitting your job one day and retire in your 30s, you know what I am talking about, those weird dreams that one never dreamt about when working in a company from 8am to 5pm everyday.

Here are some Negative effects of excessive gambling.

Too much stress
Anxiety and Depression
Debt
Making wrong decisions

And if all these is active in one's life low self-esteem is sure to follow, many people messed up their lives by gambling and they don't know when they start borrowing money, or selling off properties because of gambling until they have nothing left.

You do give a fair bit of good advice, particularly about not dreaming that gambling will make you rich. That is the main trick that casinos bank on, people thinking that they can take a shortcut to huge wealth and trade in tiny amounts for a huge return - the odds are simply not stacked in your favor. Understanding that each bet is also independent from the last and any future bets is important too. There is not some hidden scale out there, saying you've lost 10 times in a row so you deserve to win on number 11 - no, you are just as likely to lose the next time as well. Those suffering from financial problems are those who will suffer the biggest and should never think it will get them out of a hole, it's going to make it worse.
817  Economy / Economics / Re: Which problem will you choose to solve? on: August 22, 2023, 07:40:54 PM
I came across this tweet, so the reference is the username. I thought it was a topic worth bringing up for discussion to see the choice that will be made by forum members. This topic is about solving problems as a service you render to make a living. Which of the problems will you prefer to solve as a service you render? the problems of the poor? or the problems of the rich? (support your choice with a reason)

I posted this here because it relates to choices we make concerning how we want our finance to be, if this is a wrong place and the topic fits better in "politics and society", I will be happy to move it there.

Solving the "problem" of the rich could also solve the problem of the poor, so it's probably best to target there if you wanted the help the world. While the capitalist system is the best of the worst options available to us, in that it satiates what seems to be a basic human desire to compete and accumulate, it needs to be strongly regulated since billions of us share this planet together. Lack of regulation is probably the root problem and one that billionaires love to exist in, as it helps them get richer. Lobbying should be illegal for starters, because while it should be allowed by individuals with the right system, it is far too often abused by rich people to make them even richer by maintaining the status quo or even stripping back other laws designed to benefit the majority instead of the few.
818  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Quit gamble! Easy or Hard? Let's talk. on: August 21, 2023, 07:34:59 PM
Boys. It is time to quit gamble. I created a topic about taking gambling as a major income or not and fought a lot of kind people who held an opposite point. I own them a truly apology. I am sorry. No matter who you are, gambling is only for fun. Never take it as income at anytime. If you are still gambling, you should quit now. If you cannot quit by yourself, there are so many channels to help you. Even you can talk to me. I will do my best to help you.

Just some chemical reaction happened in my mind today, I get the point at that moment. Gambling for income is totally wrong and toxic for spirit and body. You will never be successful in that way. But I like gamble is still the fact and it will never change if doing nothing. So, why not open a stream and show it to all people who have interest on that. Let me prove how hard or easy to quit gamble. I will only gamble the affordable fund only. Maybe less. I am streaming 24/7. If some software problems disrupt, I will fix that except sleeping time.

Everyone handles quitting their addiction differently, but in the end people often reach a final moment of enlightenment, like you seem to have achieved, where they finally decide that enough is enough. This can be the main problem with trying to get people to quit involuntarily, unless they've reached the point where they no longer receive any joy from the addiction, then they will continue to find new ways to do it. However if you reach that point and start to formulate a plan for quitting, which will involve staying away from it entirely and possibly forever, then you can start to feel a moment of peace that you're regaining control. It does require active concentration and being on guard against falling back into it though, with the first few weeks being the toughest to get through.
819  Economy / Economics / Re: The Impact of Russian African Alliance on World Economy on: August 21, 2023, 07:14:23 PM
This topic is similar to the one gantez by titled, The impact of Russian and Ukraine war on world economy. The world watched Putin gather some African leaders for the Russia-Africa Summit at St. Petersburg in July. This was the first of its kind. According to them the aim was to strengthen the economic ties between Russia and Africa. During the meeting they discussed sustainable diamond mining, SME partnerships, agribusiness, energy cooperation, logistics routes, and financial security. What the whole world is observing now is detachment of some of these African countries, Mali, Burkina Faso, Niger, from the West and they are forming a strong alliance backed by Russia and a some other countries. We already know about the BRICS which include countries like Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa. Their aim at developing trade and economic cooperation among its member nations. Seeing all of these, what do you guys think will be the impact of the Russian African alliance on the world economy. We know there is no war right now but the rhetoric and tensions all over is being felt worldwide. Would the world economy suffer or would we be fine?

In reality the trade between Africa and Russia amounts to very little. It basically boils down to oil and grain, the first is extremely hard for Africa to get hold of due to all the sanctions making it difficult for it to be profitable to export and Africa can probably produce it cheaper right now. Russia's second major export being grain is also blocked in many cases from reaching Africa, due to the economic blockade it tries to impose on Ukraine in the Black Sea, which is rather ineffective but also reciprocated - making the area too dangerous for shipping right now. Being allied with Russia is pretty much a liability, the only thing they seem to be doing right now is creating greater instability in Africa by undermining sovereign governments and supporting rebels to overthrow them for no benefit to the average citizen.

I have been into sports betting for a while now and i am not really proud of my earliest experience in gambling, i feel like i am the most unlucky person in the world i lost a lot of games and also i lost a lot of money. I had knowledge about football and basketball games and they were my most picked games and even so I kept losing all my bets and even when i try to play safe i still end up losing and whenever i ask my friends for games we still end up losing the bet then i got tired and in the end i gave up and tried to quit gambling and I left it for some months. During this period my friends made a lot of money gambling and i was envious of them but it didn’t made me change my mind to start gambling over again.

Some months later i came across a telegram channel and i joined, it was a gambling channel that posted free sports bets for its users and there is also a VIP section where users subscribe for some sure games. I am well aware of all these techniques used by scammers so I decided to observe the channel and follow up games posted and I discovered he won most of the games and had about 80% victory rate. Then after some time I decided to try my luck again so I played one of his games and i won i was so happy and it was as though the curse placed on me has been lifted and I tried some more games and i won again and again and since the beginning of the new season i only lost twice and i am now proud of my gambling achievements.

According to the channel free games are limited and we can only enjoy for a month and now the month is almost over and only VIPs will be entitled to games when the month elapses. I have been having doubts whether to join the VIP zone because I don’t want to be scammed that’s why i want to know your opinions.

What do you all think i should do?

Stop. Forget about all the money that you've spent on it so far and accept it's gone, you will not earn it back in the same way. Take it as a very expensive lesson for what you should commit to never doing again. The toughest part of breaking the habit is at the beginning - the first few weeks and days, as any ex-smoker will tell you. You've fallen into and reinforced these habits over a long time, so you need to completely rewire your brain to get happiness from other activities. If you can, choose a time - ideally a holiday - where you will be able to completely break away from your current scene for a week or two, then you must stay away from it entirely when you get back, there is no "just a little bit" if you want to regain control. Determine your trigger points, like if it was the first thing you do in the day after starting your PC - find something else to do in the morning. If you play shooter games or if you're feeling sad, then have a tendency to jump on to a sports betting site after, realize that these subtle connections have built up in your mind and most importantly - know when they're happening, break the cycle and be alert that you do not fall into the same pattern again.
