I was really surprised that PandaCoin is so popular  . 1. It seems to be a fair coin. I will buy some of them. 2. What has the panda to do with money? Has it any special markets? Or is it just the panda because everybody likes pandas?  Thank you. Pandacoin was originally made to counter a wolong scamcoin, recently pandacoin succeeded in killing the wolong scamcoin by getting it removed from the markets. The devs have created something much more than a counter-coin now. Innovative features such as a browser miner to introduce new non-technical users to cryptocurrency and buypnd which allows PayPal to PND transactions. The devs are always active and are always planning new releases/ features that actually work. No IPO/ICO, premine, none of that stupid shit, pure fair distribution. Started with PoW and after a community vote it switched to PoS. There are two official multipools so you can still earn PND. |

I regretfully used hash-master.com to order hardware.
Order has been pending for several days, customer support is non-existent.
They don't respond to emails, don't answer the phone and their mailbox is full.
I'm going to assume I've lost all my coins I had sent to them.
Entirely my fault for not doing enough research to know hash-master.com has always had awful customer support and using them wasn't a good idea.
Just making this thread so that anyone else out there doesn't make the same idiotic mistake I have made.
Keep those Bitcoins safe guys, don't be me.

The Future and Problems of Crypto- Too many scamcoins: if noone invests in coins with ICO/IPO/Premine/Instamine the problem would solve itself. People who defend ICO/IPO by saying "but the devs can't work for free or they need money for promotion". Look at us. We manage to pull it off, build trust, build a community and create a community chest. Use that to finance features/marketing for which you really need money. If you need to get paid at the startup of your coin, it's obvious you don't have enough trust in yourself to pull it off.
This. 10000000000% this. I remember when any ICO/IPO/Premine/Instamine coins were announced they were instantly dismissed. Now every dev claims it's a necessity. It's quite frustrating really, a new coin comes out claiming "NEW AND IMPROVED ANONYMITY" after ICO/IPO as if that's all they have to offer. I'm glad I found PND at such an incredibly early stage and have been able to see it grow from nothing without any of the drama every other coin seems to bring. |

Developer Announcement -- BlockChain Issues/Shitstorm
All our sincere apologies for the delayed response we are currently in contact with a million people at once trying to sort the shitstorm out and have not had a chance yet to reply on bitcointalk. We are cyptography and cryptocurrency enthusiasts and were contacted by a developer to help create a coin, whom has duped everyone, we are very angered by this and will be doing a hardfork and changing everything over to our control, here is what's happened/going to happen.- We have changed all the credentials to github, etc.
- We have been scambling to contact everyone including exchanges and reported the address of the person who did the exploit (he used 1 single address for everything).
- There will be a hardfork announced where everything ALL ALERT KEYS, SYNC KEYS, etc. will be back under our control.
- The roadmap will be posted as planned
Again our sincere apologies, the coin has a slightly larger supply now yes, but we have reported the address of the attacker to exchanges and the funds have been frozen, these coins are going to be removed from circulation and have not been dumped.
