So much coins are burned or lost wallets. These coins will never show up again. We need a big PANDA EVENT for new investors to bring the name at least back in the heads again.
I still think something like 2.5 days with 2500% pos 5 days 250% 10 days 25% back to 2.5% after 1 or 2 months masternodes implementation. The supply will not explode cause most coins are on exchanges means the new investors will participate from pos most when the event happens. Nobody is talking about $pnd. Take a look at twitter and search $pnd....
The coin's future is certainly crippled by its troubled past. It'll need a lot of improvements and new features if it wants to succeed, especially in today's crypto world. There has been steady development work and improvements being made for at least a year now. There is a Slack group where you can voice you opinion and voting pages where you can vote on the course of future development. What would be the top 3 improvements you'd like to see? The first thing I want is for amDOGE to clarify as to what happened to the community PND fund and why they suddenly abandoned the coin. Can't really say I have followed the development since discovering the coin was still alive.

Today I have realized that my decision to invest in SiaCoin was wrong. I mean my entry point was the mistake. Unfortunately, my biggest investment ever was in SiaCoin. I realized when I checked my portfolio today after long time. -89% is the lose currently I am digesting. I am not getting any hope in price increase sooner. Btw what is SiaFund? Is it anything new? Just hold, mang. Those losses will remain unrealised until you sell.

Interesting to see 250gh/s on the network but less than 1mh/s on the pools.

Why is the price so dive? Is the project no longer developed? I'm worried about losing a lot, somebody hugs: P The drop of the pump is really huge ... The constant push of Bitcoin is keeping a lot of altcoins down lately. Given the supply, it's already difficult to maintain satoshi levels in the hundreds, especially when there are other coins with similar supply with more convenient features and uses.

So is amDOGE working on this again?
From what I recall, amDOGE straight up abandoned PND one day in IRC after days of silence.
Yes I believe he is. Don't Know what may have happened in the past, that is long before my time. This is misinformation. While it's true that I'm active on IRC (and slack) at the moment, I do not have the time, or the funding, to actually fully commit to the project. I would like to work on pandacoin again but the market doesn't appear to be in a position for me to do much of anything. Would you mind (obviously not in actual detail for personal reasons) explaining what happened when you did suddenly just disappear from PND a few years back? What ever happened to the funds that were accumulated via the community with the plan of sending them to a charity to benefit pandas?

Hey guys, I have a basic question.
When we click play on a video, it automatically downloads the video in our computer. Will we have to download every single video we watch?
If so, we will all need many Terabytes of capacity to be able to use the platform frequently?
I know the idea behind LBC is decentralized hosting and sharing of content, so I understand the principle, but this technical aspect can be a big turn off for some people?
Perhaps if storage becomes an issue, they could work alongside Sia somehow. :^)

Yes I believe he is. Don't Know what may have happened in the past, that is long before my time. The death of PND began after amDOGE stopped replying to messages on IRC and then randomly disappeared, not to be heard again. No warning, no 'hey, real life stuff coming up' messages or anything. Just disappeared. I was there since launch, so it's very weird hearing of amDOGE being back on the project.

Any new news on Sia? Can you also stake sia in the wallet?! Proof-of-Stake kinda defeats the purpose of creating a currency that is supposed to be used. If everyone is too busy staking and trying to create more Sia, less people are actually using the coin's features (file hosting). SIA is super under the radars now* it should head back up to 300x500 satoshi range ..i keep hearing good things sia lucky weeee https://poloniex.com/exchange#btc_scConstantly linking exchanges to every poster is only going to put people off of investing.

"Trust has to be built. I will operate Poloniex with honesty and integrity and be as transparent as possible when answering your questions. I believe this is the only true way to earn trust."
Poloniex is operated in the exact opposite way.

Charging $2499 for an ASIC is most definitely centralising the mining.
At least with GPU mining everyone has a chance and it remains less centralised. ASICs will always fall into the hands of the already-wealthy.
You can't really make the argument that it's okay because Bitcoin does it, when Bitcoin is currently crippled due to a monopoly-winning sack of shit (Jihan Wu).
If you take a look at Bitcoin and China's major ASIC farms (literal warehouses) and think "Yeah, this decentralisation thing is going great!" then you have the wrong idea completely.
|
|
|
So what is the point in decentralised storage when you centralise the mining?

I'm really liking the platform so far.
Community seems very friendly, and the platform itself performs wonderfully. As a frequent writer, I'll probably use it a lot.

Surprised this still isn't on Poloniex.
It was on poloniex until like six or nine months ago. I don't think they've ever relisted something after taking it off, but to do it so quickly would be especially surprising. That's a bit weird given it's a pretty good coin with far better prices than others on the exchange.

I'm having an issue mining Dash on Suprnova, which is strange given the pool used to work just fine for me. I have a small amount of coins already mined on the pool.
I recently started (attempted) to mine Dash again, but the software (ccminer rc3, have also tried other versions of ccminer) doesn't seem to be accepting any shares (nor is it rejecting any). I've tried other pools with the same config, just the URL and port changed, and it works just fine. Accepted shares just as usual.
Normally I would just mine on the pool that works and be done with it, but given I already have some coins and other pools have absurdly high withdrawal fees, I'd rather mine at Suprnova.
Has anyone else had this issue? The software detects the hardware, it raises the temps, detects blocks, just doesn't actually accept any shares.

Aside from Suprnova, are there any other pools?

instead to grow up with 1.0 release the price is very low 2 months ago the price was at 0.4 USD. Today it is 15 USD. You want the price go up to infinity? LOL BTC began moving up after some pause. So it`s time for alts to go down. Given how violent some alts have been in terms of volume and movement, I really wouldn't look at them the same way you used to. Bitcoin has been steady for a while and many alts are still pushing. Things have changed.
