I was very surprised when I found out that Gianluigi Donnarumma got a red card in the opening minutes and I still don't know the details of why he had to be sent off by the referee. But what is clear is that this is very detrimental for PSG when they have wide open opportunities to widen the gap from Nice but have to suffer the loss of losing their main goalkeeper. The overhyped players in Napoli should chilled and work on improving their performance this season because they have no solid improvement. Inter Milan are not their mates this season, watching the game and witnessed the opportunities wasted that failed to convert the ball to winning. The new boss have no impact in the club yet, Walter Mazzarri have been incharge in fewer games and we don't expect him to be of the best form this season, perhapes he can be building the club in gradual proceeds. Napoli is one of the elite team that's shaky in form and recording poor results this season. How are they overhyped? Aren't they same set of players that won the Italian Seria A last season? They might have seen a change of hands and coach but that don't means they'll get a quick turn and change immediately. Barcelona got ahead by 1-0 against Atletico Madrid a couple of minutes ago. Joao Felix scored the goal and it is good for him. Because there has been a really long time since he scored a goal in the La Liga.  But he is still performing decently in general. He has adapted to left wing really quickly. Playing for his dream team must have made things easier for him at the same time. It is still early to say that Barcelona would win this game though. Wow! It seems like Sevilla won't be able to qualify for Europa League knockout stage this time. Because to be able to do this they have to win against Lens. There is no other way to do it.
But can they? Honestly I'm not a believer here. Sevilla have been horrible throughout the group stage. They have got 0 win until now. It was almost like they were beating PSV home in their last game though. However that red card brought Sevilla's end very quickly by a big comeback from PSV. Lens aren't a competitor to be underestimated. They even beat Arsenal home and I wouldn't take them on against Sevilla for certain. But both teams to score could be a nice option to bet on.

Chelsea did a nice job playing with a 10 man team against Brighton especially with Mitoma exhibiting his talent on the Chelsea's defense with turbulence. Am glad for the blues on this win all 3 goals being a debut goals from Colwill and Enzo Fernandez. However, Gallagher has to keep his cool he's been too aggressive with the tackles hardly play a game without receiving a card, his red card almost nick the team the 3points and consequent his absence makes a huge loss for Chelsea when they meet Manchester united next weekend.
At Anfield it was an incredible performance by Liverpool against Fulham coming in from behind 2:3 to win the match 4:3 it was astonishing and quite an entertaining match with the way the goals were coming in.

Today is yet another day for Leverkusen to most likely keep their record of unbeaten, the match has ended in a draw and Leverkusen was able to still maintain their record of staying unbeaten since this season, I see them as the better side in this match as they did played well enough.
Leverkusen has been able to maintain their position on the table staying at the top with 35 pints as against 32 points that Bayern Munich currently have, they are three points ahead of Munich but if they had won against Dortmund, they would have been ahead by five points and will be having 37points, but subsequently Leverkusen will have to get some more wins to be able to further stau ahead of Munich by a good margin which cannot be surpassed soon.
The draw wasn't enough of they're to win the Bundesliga League Competition. Big games like this you try to show strength and grab all the important points. It's not a bad results though, they should make sure they win against all smaller clubs. Borrussia Dortmund did better in this game though. I ain't seeing nobody given them credits for this game they should have won but Bayern Leverkusen fought hard to salvage a point. Bayern Munich should have gone on top if they had played that game against Koln on Saturday. Bayern Leverkusen though be having busy next five fixtures. Manchester city is currently leading by three goals and their performance so far has been good enough, gardiola seem like he expected more from his team but it turns out the spurs are not as weak as they were perceived they looked even stronger regardless they are playing away.
Son is really a good player and today he has really been brilliant, I was thinking he will have a weak morale after the own goal, but then he was rather determined to make up for the own goal. For a team playing away Tottenham has played well enough but it most likely going to turn out in the favour of Manchester city, so far with this performance from the spurs I can say with confidence they are improving as against their recent draw backs.
Playing well enough but without securing three points is merely regarded as nothing. Ange Postecoglou is grateful for his team by ending his defeat run and this time, he's heading to bounce back his squad back to winning track. The game ended 3-3 with a die minute heroic header from Kulusevski in 90th minutes. Definitely not the result Pep Guardiola and his men was craving for because it just made them climb down to 3rd position on the EPL table this season. Tottenham Hotspur have secure a point and they will look upon facing Westham in next match. Manchester City struggled against Leipzig at home, infact if not for the second half substitutions, Manchester City should have lost that game. Today was totally different. Tottenham Hotspur fans are not hundred percent happy though even if most of their players are out Injured, the draw is something they can be happy for after losing three games consecutively. Erik ten Hag certainly feels bad about what his team is facing at the moment, only being able to draw with Galasataray even though they were already ahead so the chance of getting through the group phase became very difficult and yesterday in the English Premier League they lost to Newcastle with a narrow score even though their strikers performed badly because they only had one chance throughout the match. With what Manchester United has shown, they will return to being like the team of a few seasons ago and that is quite disappointing because when Erik Ten Hag arrived he could give a little hope that there would be changes at Manchester United but it turned out that it was only temporary and was disappointing again. Against Bayern Munich at Old Trafford, maybe they still have a chance to win if their opponents don't play at full strength because the result of this match doesn't affect Bayern Munich, who will qualify while hoping that the other team's match ends in a draw, but being a team whose fate is determined by the other team is not fun. I know they have nothing to offer so I barely see the games, I just go for them highlights. Marcus Rashford maybe should be used as a central forward just like he was last season, on the flanks for Manchester United he has been nothing but useless. Why do I feel like I've seen this Rashford and Garnacho failing to help the defenders somewhere? Erik Ten Hag may still not be sacked. A good coach he's been, Ralf Ragnick they'll need more than what they're currently doing within Manchester United. He needs to be backed. |

Álvaro Morata is a player who has perfect performance in his team and he was an effective player for Atletico Madrid so far. Álvaro Morata scored 12 goals in 17 games they had and this is amazing for this player but Álvaro Morata was about to join Barcelona two years after Xavi contracted him. He could shine in Barcelona, however, there is still the chance for Álvaro Morata to join Barcelona soon.  They'd rather see Antonio Griezmann who's a better goal scorer for Atletico Madrid this season to Alvaro Morata. Antonio Griezmann has done better in terms of the the total team performance and goals. Also, it'll look damn stupid to bid for a old Striker. Why not place same fee on a younger talented player who can keep the ground running and score important goals for the club. I don't see Barcelona management doing this anyways. This is unwise. But Xavi have shown great interest at Morata over Griezmann, he even mentioned that at a statement he released not quite long, he said to reporters "It's true that I wanted to sign him. There was that possibility. I was talking to him and I wanted him in the team, but it couldn't happen. He's a forward that I really like. Morata is a great forward. He is a generous footballer, who works a lot for the team, he works a lot. He goes very well into spaces and helps his teams a lot. I really like him a lot. With him and with [Antoine] Griezmann, Atletico has a world-class forward line." So even though he acknowledged the efforts and the performance of Griezmann in the Atletico Madrid, he has shown his great interest at Morata over Griezmann in the report saying that he is a generous player. Maybe that's what Xavi is scouting for from a player now especially that he has good number of squad to work with, teamwork player like Morata will make him more happy to work with I presume. Is that what Xavi Hernandez wants? And the management approves it? Will Atletico Madrid let him go? He could have talks with the club if the feeling is mutual, if Barcelona wants him and he wants same, then nothing can stop it from happening. But I feel like they should make moves for a younger striker, or are they trying to create a close bond of players that'll play for the upcoming European Competition? They can be up for anything. Thats up to them though. |

A predictable victory for Real Madrid against Granada, although they were only able to score one goal, it didn't really matter, because one goal allowed them to get three points from this match.
However, with a very significant control of the match, Real Madrid should be able to create more than 2 goals. In this match Granada barely attacked and I think it was a very long match for Granada, because for almost 90 minutes they could only defend. They couldn't create chances, they couldn't even counteratack.
There's no better way of seeing that game if not for the win going to Real Madrid. They have done well against other La Liga sides, taking all the necessary points needed. They just returned from the Champions League, it's not like they have enough fresh legs it's good to see how they managed the game though. You have to give credits to Real Madrid defending duo, they have done excellently well. ( Both Rudiger and David Alaba. ) This is the kind of players needed to keep the club running. At least they still have a good hold of the top. Too many mocking Girona, they're much different from Arsenal of last season, they're underdog's trying. They deserve more than negative criticisms. Give them their flowers. |
