1101  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🥊 The UFC Info and Prediction Thread on: March 24, 2022, 05:55:05 AM
I've been saying that for ages, for a lot of fighters, but Brown comes from a generation of 'Imma die in the ring' tough type of fighters. That generation has slowly been left behind in the sense that a lot of younger fighters are now thinking about their long-term health, their future, and their longevity in the sport. So at one point that will turn for the better and only outliers will be pushing the envelope.

Let me correct you a bit. "Imma die in the ring" generation is replaced with "I will fight him if only I get paid lots of $$$" and "I am not going to fight him, because he is lower in top" (but in reality I am afraid to lose and spoil my record).

We have moved from generation of "I have broken arm, ribs, jaw, brain concussion and my spine is dead, but I will continue, this is just round 1 and there are 2 more fights this evening and I will win tournament" to "oh shit, I got my nail broken, poked in eyes accidentally (hello ufc gloves), got a knee to head (hello Aljo), I think I will fake injury and be a champ. and take 6-12 months to recover"

I think you are too dramatic. Of course you can see which fighter fights for money and which is a real warrior. However, it cannot be said that the majority fight only for the money. Certainly it is important for most of them, because it is in some way their job, so financial bonuses are always attractive. However, there are still fighters who do it out of passion and not just to stuff their pockets with dollars.
1102  Other / Off-topic / Re: Jake Paul vs Conor McGregor on: March 24, 2022, 01:48:31 AM
Fame is definitely the reason for this fight, but I think no one doubts that the main reason for both Poul Logan and Conor McGregor want this fight is money.
I wonder if this fight will be even recorded in any rank.
^ It is always matters about rank, money, and reputation.
But this match will unlikely happen in the UFC as what Danna White said, that these two fighters are no place on this platform.
So it could be entertainment only. There is a conflict between Jake Paul and Conor McGregor so the fight will unlikely happen but who knows.

The money will speak and the conflict will attract even more attention. I'm sure this fight will take place. I'm only interested in what rules, because if only in boxing, whether the UFC will be interested in it. On the other hand, I can't imagine Jake Paul fighting Conor McGregor on an MMA basis. I would not be surprised if it was as you wrote, despite the fact that it would be organized by the UFC, just a kind of entertainment/exhibition fight.
1103  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2020/21 on: March 24, 2022, 01:41:56 AM
Although Barcelona impressive perform on last el clasico match still not guarantee they are the winner of La Liga, behind 12 points left from Real Madrid as impossible mission how to get finish as 1st standing position at the end league. Next match after FIFA match day on 4th April, Real Madrid have easy match against with Celta Vigo except Barcelona vs Sevilla as interested match because both team will lead as 2nd position if success get 3 point, beside still hope by Madrid fans the result draw is better for match between Sevilla vs Barcelona and make 1st position standing keep safety for Real Madrid.

Of course the best result for Real Madrid is the draw between Barcelona and Sevilla. However, I think Barcelona realizes they have a very good chance and they will definitely be fighting very hard for 3 points. Of course, if he does, it won't really be a big deal, because as you wrote, Real should easily deal with Celta Vigo. However, if Barca does not get 3 points, it will greatly facilitate the position in the league for Real Madrid.
1104  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [BOXING] Logan Paul vs Mike Tyson on: February 08, 2022, 06:39:36 AM
Tyson probably hasn't got so much money he doesn't need to collect the prize fee for this but there is the question of good management and as ex world champion respected probably forever in his achievements, does it really do him good overall to take this fight.   He has alternate prospects more attractive then a play fight.   There is also the lucky punch aspect which I dont think happens but there's the chance he ends up looking worse off from a wild lucky punch plus training for a fight is a massive deal to put your body through so I  don't blame him for skipping if not fully motivated.

By the way, the question about money is quite interesting. Of course Mike Tyson doesn't need money like regular people, but he's not rich enough either (at least based on his sports earnings). I remember how he parted with Don King with scandal and said that all his money had slipped through his fingers, and such dealers as Don King made millions on him. Now in one fight he can earn as much as he used to earn in several championship fights. Why refuse it? I do not understand.

I have big doubts about the highlighted text. As far as I remember, he and other boxers who were deceived by promoters started a community to counter this and keep newbies from falling into similar stories like them. There are quite a few such athletes used by promoters as mercenary and financially deceived. Also, one should not forget that Tyson's considerable fortune was taken by his wife after the divorce. Of course, Mike had large incomes, but there were also enough financial losses. Such sportsmen, who have gone into circulation like him, grab any opportunity to earn money in this vein, his refusal to fight also seems strange to me. Maybe he started having health problems, because he is already quite a few years old?

I think the highlighted text is mainly that Mike Tyson, despite being very rich, went bankrupt in 2003 because of his luxury life. Fortunately, he managed to get out of all the financial problems and is again a wealthy man. However, he still has a soft spot for spending money on stupid things. It is obvious that when the opportunity to make such easy money comes, Mike will not miss it, and I am sure that this fight will take place. It is possible that he is simply trying to negotiate more money.
1105  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Bounties (Altcoins) / Re: 🔥 Signature Campaign | CPLAY Network | 3000 CPLAY / 8 Weeks 🔥 on: December 22, 2021, 06:27:58 AM
Now I noticed that you changed the system of rewards from stakes to fixed amounts of tokens.

Rewards

Member/copper member = 1000 CPLAY
Full Member = 1500 CPLAY
Sr. Member = 2000 CPLAY
Hero Member = 2500 CPLAY
Legendary = 3000 CPLAY /week

When I wrote about guarantee, I thought more about solution like this:

Bounty allocation - 5% * 1 000 000 000 = 50 000 000

Signature campaign - 20% * 50 000 000 =  10 000 000

Allocation will be distributed according to the number of participants achieved:

>500 = 10 000 000
>250 = 5 000 000
>150 = 3 000 000
>100 = 2 000 000
>50 = 1 000 000
<50 = 750 000

Of course, the more tokens the better  Cheesy

A note that it will for sure not change will be very helpful.

Stakes remains as it was.

1107  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: NFX: The Next Big Thing After NFT on: December 20, 2021, 07:47:57 AM
I could imagine gaming nfts actually being somewhat useful, I don't know about art nfts though (some might be good but they might be better if they also include ownership rights at some point).

A lot of things that take off well are normally hard to kill, they might drop massively but not die. Quite a few things become so big they keep seeing interest. You could take something as simple as pokemon cards that see a revival of interest every few years.

I think the Pokemon cards example is very good here. NFT is a temporary hype that won't last very long, just as it happened with Pokemons. Of course, some people will support NFT for a long time, but the technology is moving forward. I think now is the time for the Metaverse hype and investors eyes will be looking in that side.

I think that in a few months there will be much more of these tokens.
Please note that most projects do not even have alpha and beta versions, and they are already raising millions of investments.
Most projects will skip or show minimal signs of performance, but be careful with such investments.

I totally agree! I think even most of them will fail and disappear from the market. Unfortunately, the law of the stronger will surely be cruel as always.

I wanted to ask if, apart from this list, we can find somewhere a similar report, but with possible information about price, market cap, etc?
1109  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Does anyone use cryptocurrencies to buy assets and services? on: December 20, 2021, 01:48:16 AM
I would like to know if anyone here uses cryptocurrencies to buy assets and services, I would also like to know if most companies accept crypto you would buy and why not buy such a service.Would they buy food in crypto?

Using cryptocurrencies on a daily basis is not easy. When it comes to paying with them, I do it mainly by buying services over the Internet. However, we can say that I pay with them every day because I use the Coinbase card. It is a VISA card, but I keep all funds in cryptocurrencies, and when paying with the card, they are automatically converted into a currency that is acceptable in the place where I actually am.

PROVEN SOLID TEAM, ALWAYS DELIVERS!

It is very important that an experienced and professional team is behind the project.

I understand that this declaration proves that the team will not be anonymous and we will be able to check previous successes.

Im waiting for the Whitepaper, website link and details of the team's experience.
1111  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Bounties (Altcoins) / Re: 🔥 Signature Campaign | CPLAY Network | Crypto App Store - 8 Weeks 🔥 on: December 19, 2021, 11:42:07 AM
Please check again.

Hello,

I saw changes immediately Smiley
If I can advise anything else to attract participants..

Signature campaigns that pay in Bitcoin require 20-25 posts per week. Campaigns that pay in fast-converting altcoins or tokens require 15 - 20 posts per week. Campaigns which pay in tokens that do not know when (or if) they will be listed on exchange require 10 posts per week (90% of campaigns) or 15 posts per week (10% campaigns). Standard is 10 posts/week.

10. We reserve the right to stop the campaign, modify stake rewards, modify campaign rules at any time for any reason.

I know that your allocation is huge, but this condition makes that not many will risk 2 months of work. Unfortunately, in the past, many projects used this condition too much and paid dust in the end. Think about guarantee of a minimum amount (even in case of little number of participants) and it will definitely help a lot.

Hello,

1. Stage 5 of the IDO begins on February 5. When does it end?

2. What will happen to (possibly) unsold tokens?

3. Is there a Softcap? If so how much it is? (Hardcap actually too)

4. What are the token prices at the each IDO stages?

Edit/
On your website links to Lightpaper and to IDO sale doesnt work. (Now I saw that link http://www.cointool.com/cplay is still not working)
Also on the top bar you have "Litepaper" at the bottom "Lightpaper"

1113  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Bounties (Altcoins) / Re: 🔥 Signature Campaign | CPLAY Network | Crypto App Store - 8 Weeks 🔥 on: December 18, 2021, 04:31:48 PM
Due to the fact that red trust members cannot be accepted, I will not participate anyway, but I have some comments

✅ Total allocation for signature campaign 20% of the total supply.

20% of total supply would be certainly a bad idea. I think it's about 20% of bounty campaign allocation.

3. Red-tagged users are not allowed to apply, getting a red tag during the campaign will remove from the campaign without notice.

I would consider applying if this condition was not here.

4. You have to make a minimum of 30 constructive posts per week to be eligible for weekly rewards.

30 this is way too much, better think about 10 posts

It looks like there is no application form.

1115  Economy / Gambling / Re: betflip.io does not pay me even my deposit amount on: December 18, 2021, 04:03:05 AM
I still can`t understand why newbies creating threads just after they lost their money? Why don`t they do any research? If they create thread here, it means that they know about this board, so why don`t use it? Spend just 20 minutes and save money, this is really easy. They are losing much more time trying to return their money and mostly they willn`t return it, so doing research helps to save not only the money but the time too.
I doubt that they are newbies because, from their stories, we see many of them deposit more than $50-$100. If they are really newbies, they will not risk too big money for gambling, especially since gambling is something new for them. They need to figure out how to play gambling and learn how to control themselves. Maybe they are old crypto users who have much experience but they are curious about the gambling site so they deposit that big money but boom, they lose their money.
But if they are not newbies, why they don`t do any research? And, if they know about this board - why most of them have newbie rating? Ok, may be they are just reading without registration, but why they don`t read other threads?
It is possible if this is a part of strategy - getting welcome and rating bonuses but even in such way - it is not a problem to see fast-made scam.

Agree, it's likely not that they don't read, but rather to take advantage of the bonuses that have been provided and walk away with all those bonuses. Then come again as if not paying attention to the terms and conditions that apply. As a beginner, it might sound silly to shoot more than $50-$100 without thinking. Usually, most beginners will be more careful because they don't know how to start well.

Casinos say that gambling should be just fun and a way to have a good time. The truth is, most of the gambling is based on a desire to make money easily and quickly, and oscourse greed. It is clear to me that many people, even if they are aware of the risks, will still play in casinos with a bad reputation just because they have big bonuses.
1116  Economy / Reputation / Re: [LIST] ANN threads that are using bumping services on: December 17, 2021, 09:43:24 AM
It looks like bumping services are more gentle now. They used to spam 5 or more posts a day, now there is less. Or this version of the service has been ordered.

Self moderated thread and almost the entire thread are fresh accounts with short and typical comments.

That's what they do most of the time.

They'll seek counsel to the forum members when something bad has already happened. And when they do, it's already too late for them to recover the amount because there's no way to get it anymore.

It is possible that they think that maybe someone will hear their cries for help and the casino will change mind in their case.
Or maybe they just want to complain in public and in that way reduce their frustration a bit.
It is also possible that they really have the intent to warn others about the dishonesty of the casino.
Or they themselves are scammers and have been caught doing it and write accusations in anger.

This is the very joke that could create a lot of noise. Now we are waiting for when they will laugh after who will leave this project. I am not inclined to negative thoughts, but too many projects were much stronger in terms of development and their importance, and they disappeared. Here is a vivid example of a financial pyramid, as it seems to me, I do not insist on my point of view, but I will voice it.

I wouldn't call it a financial pyramid. In my opinion, this is an example of very well-organized and creative marketing campaign. A very large speculative bubble was created, similar to the classic "Tulip mania" 400 years ago. The difference is that in this case there are not even tulips, but only an empty electronic token.

Just send PM to him, it's been mentioned that he allows for certain cases, if you are allowed to immediately post your choice because the 13th round will close soon.

Thanks. I sent him private message asking if he could participate, but it seems that first matches are starting in about 10 hours so I guess I still have some time.. Wink
