Reward received. Thank you @samcrypto for organizing this competition, @bL4nkcode for escrow and distribution of rewards, congratulations to all winners and good luck to all participants in the next competition!
1322  Economy / Speculation / Re: Are we getting a pump and dump for this month? on: January 07, 2020, 03:44:49 PM
Any scenario is possible, but I'm not thinking that someone will want to do the pump at the beginning of the year. I think attempts to do a flash crash are more likely. If they are trying to make a pump, I think it will be in March or April at the earliest.
1323  Local / Altcoins (Pilipinas) / Re: ETH - 4TH QUARTER PRICE PREDICTION [GAME] on: January 06, 2020, 04:41:02 PM

If I were the OP you can’t win the reward if you can’t provide ETH address that is come from coins.ph, and that is clearly stated on the rules before you participate.
..

Actually, it is possible to set up an account on coins.ph by people from outside the Philippines, so I see no problem.
I also think that if the recipient (participant) agrees to cover the fee, it should also be no problem to send the prize to him.

I realize that the more tickets you have, the more likely you are to win. However, just the example of a winner with two tickets shows that more depends on luck.
I wonder if the users who buy tickets finally come out financially positive or they lose ...  Roll Eyes

At first, i also thought that in order to win, we have to collect many tickets and the one with most ticket will have more chances of win, but this is actually not the case. However, buying more tickets increases the probability of the win but does not grantee win. A person with a single ticket can be lucky to win and a person with 100 tickets may lose on a day, if he is unlucky.

Yep, it was already counted by @hosseinimr93 here:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=320959.msg53529155#msg53529155

and explained better here:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=320959.msg53530585#msg53530585

The conclusion is that it is not profitable to buy lottery tickets, because if we do not take luck into account, the return in the long run can be only 25%.
So luck is still the most important thing here.
1325  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will 2020 give new hope to Altcoin? on: January 06, 2020, 02:38:29 PM
So far, the alts are growing with Bitcoin, if this continues, we can hope that the alts have a chance of recovery and strong growth.

It has always been that when the price of Bitcoin falls, the prices of Altcoins fall, and when the price of Bitcoin increases, the prices of Altcoins increase. We just have to wait for what will happen after the halving event in the middle of 2020. Let's hope the Bitcoin price bull run comes along and the Altcoins will follow him. This is the most likely scenario in my opinion. For now, we must be patient.
1326  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: There is a way now to exchange kicktokens for bitcoins ??? on: January 06, 2020, 02:09:57 PM

It seems those coins are valueless, just for attraction. Let's wait and see what Kick team says later about selling those airdrop coins.

They have no value at the moment and are blocked. It seems that they will become usable in the moment KickEX exchange will be launched, and it is expected to happen in a few months. Then probably these tokens will become something similar to BNB for Binance.
It should be KickEx token but im not sure if that will draw more attention from the users as the majority of the people that received the airdrop are willing to sell their tokens to the market instantly i just call that as dump.

This is a marketing purpose that has already made by kick team. Im not sure about how effective this way is.

I have never heard of "Frozendrop" before but it seems to be an interesting solution. As you can see from this thread, people are already starting to talk about it Wink Dev team has time to make those who have received tokens aware of what it is and what they can do about it. When exchange is launched, those who got tokens will decide whether they want to sell or hold them. This is the law of the free market.

1328  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to select a good bounty campaign! on: January 05, 2020, 05:40:19 PM
Could have been perfect guidelines for those who are looking for a guidelines on what to look for a bounty campaign, it's just that he included these ICO rating sites who are one of the contributors into what ICO has become, selecting a bounty campaign now is like a gambling if you want to be on a winning side, join bounty campaign where the coin is already in the market.

Bounty campaigns that are payable in coins already listed on exchange are almost gone, and if they are, they are very low paid.
As for the guide on how to choose bounty campaigns, I think that few people would read it at all, because most do not even check the project website at all. There are those who join the campaign even a few months after it ends, so they certainly would not be interested in such a thing.

is this still possibile ? i have 60 usd of kicktokens , now how i can exchange this kicktokens to btc ??
I don't know if this is what you mean.
I saw at Coinmarketcap, there was a Kucoin market exchange. I have checked and it's correct the ticker or symbol is exactly the Kicktoken/kickcoin, try visiting the market and you can sell your tokens there.
Coinmarketcap;

Kucoin;

https://trade.kucoin.com/spot/KICK-BTC
maybe what he meant was right like the answer you gave. but it would be better if he checks the address of his contract whether it is correct or not. if true I think he can trade coins he can because there is already an exchange available.

You are both wrong. Tokens that have OP come from a new type of airdrop - "FrozenDrop"

Here you have details about it: https://medium.com/@kickecosystem/888-888-kicktokens-frozen-drop-to-170-000-crypto-users-is-coming-2937a1abf641

Tokens are blocked for a specified period. In this case it will probably be several months. Only after this time will the person who received them be able to sell them.
1331  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: There is a way now to exchange kicktokens for bitcoins ??? on: January 05, 2020, 01:57:52 PM
I also received 70$ Kicktoken from them. It seems that this is a random airdrop to all ETH wallets. But unfortunately, there is no way to sell it because the token is locked and you will not be able to move it to any exchange. And this project is really dead, without any activities from the group and the price will definitely go down in the future.

KickEX exchange is scheduled to open in a few months. Until then, it will not be possible to sell kicktoken. What happens later depends on developers activity and market situation.
1332  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: There is a way now to exchange kicktokens for bitcoins ??? on: January 04, 2020, 05:16:46 PM
Its a shit token, the project is already broken and the team is not doing any useful work towards a roadmap. They are just giving away tokens to all the people and doing nothing.

I also have similar conclusions. Marketcap is growing, i.e. the number of tokens probably increases. The value will go down as a result. It's best to get rid of these tokens while they still have any value.

EDIT:

i think he can't sell the tokens he received because that coin is locked/frozen based on the post above

Yep, you are right. @cryptoaddictchie describe it correct. Here is statement:

Quote
after the completion of the first stage of FrozenDrop, we will conduct the second step after the New Year. At this stage, we will charge 888,888 frozen KickTokens to the next group of users. The second stage of FrozenDrop will be realised during a few months— until the official launch of the KickEX exchange, to be exact.

It looks like you will have to wait a few more months to sell these tokens.

Here’s the list of the winners of this contest. Di na talaga nagpump si ETH hanggang sa huling araw ng 2019 kaya naging madali lang para malaman kung sino ang mananalo. Medyo nadisappoint lang ako kay ETH pero sana ngayong 2020 magstart na sya mag pump.

Big Winner = MuffinMaster   $130.00

Top 5 Consolation Prices.

keyscore44                 $170.00

It is a pity that the price went down. I was really hoping for a price increase, but I expected December to be very calm among investors.

1334  Economy / Services / Re: Yobit.net signature campaign on: December 26, 2019, 04:19:27 PM
He might not have, but I had it on all the time. I took two days off due to family coming over for Christmas and changed to the new signature just now, but it's still stating disabled for inactivity.

Could it be that yobit shortened the time frame which within you have to wear the new signature?
I got this the same issue on yobit I just didn't notice that there is a new signature code I already replace it with the new code.

I thought that there is some delayed post count from yobit that is why my post does not increase.
Let's see if there are changes soon from the disabled to active again.

You'd better take a closer look at his problem. This is not about counting posts, but about being kicked out from campaign because of inactivity - the problem is that he was active.

If you don't have information "disabled for inactivity" in your Yobit dashboard, you are fine.

Now everything works fine. But before, for about an hour, Yobit website was down. I couldn't go through cloudflare .. It is possible that it was a DDoS attack.
1336  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Need help sending BTC on: December 26, 2019, 01:14:28 PM
I used one of my wallet addresses to receive the BTC. Bought $339.00 worth of BTC from Xcoins. They charge 5% of the order total. Which was $16.95 in this case. Is this a normal charge to buy BTC? Or are there cheaper alternatives?

It's a huge commission, but it probably came from the fact that you paid directly with a credit or debit card..?

Commissions are normally lower, here you have information from Coinbase:

Quote
Buy/Sell Transactions

Coinbase charges a Spread of about one-half of one percent (0.50%) for Digital Currency Purchases and Digital Currency Sales. However, the actual Spread may be higher or lower due to market fluctuations in the price of Digital Currencies on Coinbase Pro between the time we quote a price and the time when the order executes.

We also charge a Coinbase Fee (in addition to the Spread), which is the greater of (a) a flat fee or (b) a variable percentage fee determined by region, product feature and payment type. The flat fees are set forth below:

If the total transaction amount is less than or equal to $10, the fee is $0.99.
If the total transaction amount is more than $10 but less than or equal to $25, the fee is $1.49.
If the total transaction amount is more than $25 but less than or equal to $50, the fee is $1.99.
If the total transaction amount is more than $50 but less than or equal to $200, the fee is $2.99.

For example, if you are in the United States and wish to purchase $100 of bitcoin and pay with a U.S. bank account or your USD Wallet, the flat fee would be calculated as $2.99. As noted below in the variable fee section, the variable percentage fee would be 1.49% of the total transaction, or $1.49. Since the flat fee is greater than 1.49% of the total transaction, your fee would $2.99. If you wanted to purchase bitcoin with a credit or debit card, we would charge a fee of 3.99% since the variable percentage fee is higher than the flat fee.

Variable percentage fee structure by location and payment method are shown in the last section below. These fees do not apply to Digital Currency Conversions. As a reminder, the Coinbase Fee will always be the greater of the minimum flat fees described above or the variable fees described below.
1337  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin ATMs should target developing and third world countries on: December 26, 2019, 12:05:55 PM
the legalization is needed if you want to build it. in my country, there are just three atm and they placed on popular place that many tourism. so when build on strange place like useless though they want to spread bitcoin existance. many people know about bitcoin but many people still ignorance about this one

I am not supporting centralizing the cryptocurrency market, but for efficient operation and, above all, to protect normal people from scammers, regulations are needed. Without them, scammers will feel that no one can punish them, and honest companies will not be able to grow normally. The same applies to Bitcoin ATMs - there must be regulations first, and then the development of the network will start.
1338  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: [Unofficial] CryptoTalk.Org & Yobit Panel BTCtalk Signature Campaign Discussion on: December 26, 2019, 07:19:20 AM
Is yobit paying their participants for wearing a signature which is not working at the moment?
Did anyone bother to click and check the status of yobit site?

Few hours ago I withdraw earned BTC from signature campaign dashboard to Yobit balance. So everything was working correct.
Now, unfortunately, I can't open Yobit at all.
1339  Economy / Services / Re: Yobit.net signature campaign on: December 25, 2019, 03:51:38 PM

So this is the latest, we can now check our post count still on yobit or to this telegram bot?

This is just Airdrop. By registering through the Telegram bot you can get 700 YoDollars for free. Posts are still counted on Yobit dashboard, as it was before. Nothing but the signature has changed in the campaign rules.
