1401  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: 🌟🌟🌟🚀[ANN][04.07] ICO Starta - Cross-Coin Venture capital on the blockchain🌟 on: December 04, 2019, 09:45:40 AM
Dear Starta Token Backers,

Please find the status report on Cross Coin portfolio as of October 01, 2019:

https://drive.google.com/file/d/1mJI1VG1KutHS1AAMg3GoL2SCAI6wHp3a/view?usp=sharing

Yours faithfully,
Cross Coin and Starta Team

Cindicator was only one i recognized so i feel like is should ask that where on earth are you finding these companies? I've been in this space a long time and i am curious about your procedure on finding new companies to invest to.

As far as I know, startups could apply to Start Accellerator and present their ideas. If you talk about the fact that these projects are not recognizable in the crypto world, then it is understandable, because Starta is not limited to the crypto industry only - these are Eastern European projects that simply wanted to appear on the US market.
1402  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Whale Withdraws $89M BTC, Despite Bloody Market on: November 25, 2019, 12:25:57 PM
Despite Bitcoin plummeting in value, it seems that whales haven’t lost their appetite. One major BTC whale just withdrew 12,000 BTC ($89M) to an external wallet.

The market is in chaos today as Bitcoin experienced another double-digit drop. Just a week ago, Bitcoin was trading at $8,700 — it is now trading at around $7,100. For the first time since May 2019, the market capitalization of the entire cryptocurrency market is under $200B. According to the Crypto Greed & Fear Index, the current sentiment is one of ‘Extreme Fear.’

Look guys, I know how it feels when we are in a bloody market. Correct me if I’m wrong, but there will be two scenarios about this Bitcoin whale:

Scenario 1: He bought it at a higher price and withdrew it while Bitcoin is on a bloodbath.

Scenario 2: He bought it at a lower price years ago, and withdrew it without even have to worry about the bloodbath.

If there would be another scenario, what would it be? Can you share it here guys? Thanks in advance!

Perhaps this whale has a much more profitable business that currently requires investment. Bitcoin account was his reserve and now it's time to withdraw Bitcoins. There are much more than two scenarios, but most likely it was a necessary measure since the whale lost millions of dollars

It seems you haven't read what this thread is about. This whale has withdrawn its BTC from exchange, so the situation is exactly the opposite of what you wrote.
1403  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: About Coinsbit Exchange. on: November 25, 2019, 11:59:19 AM

Unfortunately its all part of the game, shilling on a treath in order to show/pretend it was done by mistake to justify their comment upon any accusations towards this exchange.

Obviously where this exchange is mentioned, same specific defenders are active in any treath in regards to this exchange.

We have started legal action against this exchange for multiple reasons.

Igo Tech.

Are these legal actions published somewhere? I mean, can we read somewhere about the case? If so, it would be good if you provided some links.
1404  Economy / Speculation / Re: It's a BUY flag on: November 25, 2019, 11:03:58 AM
It mainly depends on what your plan of investing is, but I'm not seeing much of a buy flag here. I stopped buying until I see the market show signs of reversal.... currently the market has signalled do not catch a falling knife.

For traders there is enough volatility to trade but I'm not a trader so I prefer to calmly wait for the market to look healthier and make some higher local highs. I'm not in a rush to buy because I already have a decent hodl position.

If someone is not a trader, this is the smartest behavior. Just a week ago, the market seemed to be stable, but now the best way is to stand aside and wait.
1405  Economy / Speculation / Re: It's a BUY flag on: November 25, 2019, 08:55:30 AM
Unfortunately, but this time I am not of the opinion that this is the best time to buy. Of course, if someone wants to buy for a long term, then certainly buying now will not be a bad decision, but I'm afraid that the price drops may last even a month or two.
1406  Economy / Gambling / Re: FreeBitco.in - Win a Lamborghini Huracan LP 580-2!! on: November 25, 2019, 08:12:38 AM
Beside fighting with abusing free satoshi system, they are also using it to prevent loss due to Multiply BTC game. I've asked similar question long time ago that A) similar case which multiple accounts being used to claim the Free BTC vs B) multiple accounts but don't claim a single peny but to be used for Multiply BTC game only... the second case was not an abusing case but violated "one acount per user" thus users can't have an easy way to beat the system (don't hope for William Hill like which you can play multiple hands).

Where did I say that?

will you give me at least a screenshot in private messages, where do you confirm that all accounts have been registered with one user? Don’t ignore me, I’m not asking for anything bad

You said you are a very wealthy person, but you spam this thread with complaints about a few Satoshi? You understand why it is difficult for us to take your statements seriously.. right?

I can understand if you are doing this just to clear your name, but faucet abuse is not perceived here as being a serious enough transgression for your account to be banned on the forum. <You might get some negative feedback, if it was proven>

Good luck with your efforts to prove your innocence, but also bare with us that needs to wade through all that debate that might not even resolve the problem.  Roll Eyes

They are usually just phishing to find out how they got caught so they can be a bit smarter next time.

I wanted to write exactly the same.
All questions about explaining how they was caught are in order to avoid this during the next time try to cheat.

At what price they do buyback? As I remember their token sale was at 1$ and was plegged to fiat... I participated on their ICO too... Are their tokens trading on Waves Dex exchange only now?

Last buy back (#3) was at the beginning of the year and they buy from range $0.5 - $0.8 per token. Yes, initial price was $1 and for now, Starta token is traded only on Waves platform. In my opinion, only one exchange is definitely not enough to avoid the pump & dump effect.
1409  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Projects Scamming Bounty Hunters on: November 24, 2019, 03:14:40 AM
A lot of projects are scamming Bounty Hunters and taking Bounty hunters for a ride. What can we do to stop this?
scammers are everywhere you cant do anything to stop them. As long as there are people who joined in a scam project and promoting it scammer cant be defeated.
No, there is a way to stop those scammers. Just don't join in all altcoin bounties and they can't scam you and others anymore. Just join in btc paid campaign or campaign which willing to use escrow for their bounty amount
yes bounties in btc payment are good campaigns to join , but almost all of them are full no more slots so some bounty hunters have no choice but to join in altcoins which has high risk .

Free spots in BTC paid campaigns appear quite often. However, the condition to get into the campaign is to write good quality posts and, above all, useful for community to receive merits, which are also often needed to get a spot in a BTC paid campaign. So you have the choice: to improve the quality of written posts, or join bounty campaigns, which recently are mostly scam.

Quite a long time there is no new information on project development ..

Is anyone watching Russian communication channels, maybe developers are more active there?

In fact, he doesn't write much about the development of the Starta project.
I understand that this is not about the Starta accelerator itself, but about the development of individual startups, which also need time to develop. However, they could at least try to put the Starta token on some exchange before next buy back, because buying only from one exchange - the Waves platform - may look like manipulation.
1411  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: About Coinsbit Exchange. on: November 23, 2019, 11:09:40 PM
I will apply caution when dealing with exchanges like Coinsbit  and I recommend that members of the community do so too. Coinsbit airdrop/ref campaign is spreading like wild fire. Don't get caught up in the moment. I'll keep an eye on it for now. Let's see how they'll fare in the next couple of months and if their volume isn't fake.

I guarantee you that their volume is not completely real. I even suspect that most of their volume is fake.

What Coinsbit airdrop / ref campaign are you talking about? I have not seen any threads on this topic on Bitcointalk. Can you provide any link, please?
1412  Economy / Gambling / Re: FreeBitco.in - Win a Lamborghini Huracan LP 580-2!! on: November 23, 2019, 03:28:42 PM

I use the IP address that the internet provider dataline.ua gave me, and on the account of my referrals, were they really registered from one VPN company? yes this is strange, I can’t explain it. But this does not confirm that it is one and the same person, right? Unless he used the same password and mail address, separated by dots. Some sites, like betting companies, use a fingerprint and many more tracking services, do you use something like this? I encouraged to give 50% of the income to referrals.

My way of thinking is this: Everything indicates that this is one person .. Just such things do not happen accidentally (12 people use the same VPN .. really?) Going further - Why would this person register only from your reference number? If this person wanted to hide, could use a different user referral each time. The conclusion is that this person it is YOU, but you did not foresee that the admin will check it and block your account. You thought that if admin will found it, would block only referral accounts and let you keep what you earned from them. Unfortunately it failed..

i hope you face IP problem some way to solved it.

Why an IP conflict occurs

Two devices can acquire the same IP address for several reasons:
A system administrator mistakenly assigns the same static IP address to two computers;
A system administrator assigns a static IP to a computer, within the DHCP range of the local network, and this same IP is assigned dynamically to another computer by the DHCP server;
Also the erratic operation of the DHCP server can cause the assignment of the same IP to several terminals;
An Internet Service Provider (ISP) assigns the same IP address to two of its clients by mistake;
A computer enters hibernation or standby mode and when it is re-activated, the IP that it used may have been reassigned.

Source: https://1921681254.info/how-to-solve-ip-address-conflict

you can follow source link, first try to retort your Router and PC  i hope share ip problem solved maximum.

In my opinion, this situation is not about any problem with IP, but about the fact that someone has failed to try to cheat the system because he thought that if he used referrals, even if admin would ban them, then what he earn on them would not lose. It turned out differently, because the main account was also banned. And that's the whole story.

Scenario 3  Coincheck moved some bitcoins from one cold wallet to another.

But that doesn't match the whole bloodbath scenario, whales are manipulating the price, we must find a culprit for the dump and hang him, right?
If there is a huge transfer in the blockchain, there must be some illuminate doing some funny business.

Seriously, stop following whale alerts. 99% of them are useless stuff!

Spot on.

Remember the fuss last week about "spam" transactions and it turned out an exchange was simply trying to consolidate all their dust?

Because bitcoin is pseudonymous, we simply don't know what is actually happening when coins move from one wallet to another.

We do not know who moves BTC, but such movements trigger the imagination and thanks to this they can manipulate the price. This is speculation and we are now seeing it very clearly, how after two - three information, on market is coming panic. In my opinion, whales test market sentiment. What happened means that there is still no stabilization, but it could have been worse. If now the price starts to rise, it will be a very good sign.
1414  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: About Coinsbit Exchange. on: November 23, 2019, 11:54:35 AM
Of course, large exchanges have more liquidity and seem more secure. But it is not always the case. We know that volumes of trades are bloated on almost all exchanges. This is often done not by exchanges themselves, but by projects using trading bots.
Plus, such exchanges as Cloinsbit that they feature many young crypto projects that do not have the opportunity to get on top exchanges like Binance and Huobi.
Many traders use trading bots ... many teams of various projects use their own trading bots ... why are all statements about bloated volumes directed only to exchanges? exchanges may have nothing to do with this.

There is a little difference between trading bot and exchange bot. I myself led to the fact that I set a buy and sell offer between which there was not even 1 satoshi difference. For example:
Sell: 0.00003001
Buy: 0.00003000

At this point, the trading bot stops. The smart exchange bot should also stop. This exchange bot did buy and sell transactions at the prices I set and there were no other offers because there were only these two mine. Of course, nothing was bought or sold, but transactions have appeared in history, so it could not be a bot from the outside.
1415  Economy / Gambling / Re: FreeBitco.in - Win a Lamborghini Huracan LP 580-2!! on: November 23, 2019, 11:24:43 AM

very strange. What makes you think that this is the same person? I have statistics from the site about views, and it almost lives up to my 350 or how many referrals there were. Admin, I do not blame you. The amount of loss is generally not large, but it could later become more significant, since people still visit my site. I would like to understand more specifically for what I got a ban. So far it looks like this - they did not pay me, but it confuses me, for a site like your reputation more expensive, some pair of cents.

Quin gets to see from the site's control panel when a user registers multiple (at least 2) accounts. So what he's saying is that the referrals from your account all come from the same/ similar IP address (they are very easy to trace).

There's no reason for FBC to steal funds when they have the reputation of being one of the oldest Bitcoin faucets.

If you don't want to be banned (again), just stick to one account.
I use the IP address that the internet provider dataline.ua gave me, and on the account of my referrals, were they really registered from one VPN company? yes this is strange, I can’t explain it. 1416  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Dangerous disadvantage of web wallet. on: November 23, 2019, 07:59:25 AM
its a big mistake .
send directly from a wallet with no fully control of that wallet for investement plan.
i wonder , he(OP) reads the terms and conditions, but did the OP seeing about simple notice like " dont send funds directly from third party" .
because, i guess most of good investement plan have a notice like that, such as GNT,PowerLedger, even Monaco, i quite remember about it.

This, of course, should be a basic principle, but if Coinbase has such a good opinion about security, someone just trusted them.
Of course, nobody should do that, but I guess someone bought BTC there and wanted to invest it immediately, bypassing sending them through his desktop wallet.
The mistake was that this person did not notice that the withdrawal address was different from the deposit address. If he knew this, he would probably inform the investment platform in time and change the address.

as far i know , the investement platfrom never ask for address for return if u cancelled your investement, and i am pretty sure OP have a category as a private investor or angel investor, mostly people with that category just must have 1 address for payment and return if needed(for cancelling investement). because the good investement does not want got problem such as money loundrying by huge investor like OP.
and that why notice "don't send funds directly from third party" must be owned by all investment programs.

It is possible that only one deposit address is given and the same for withdrawal in the case of cancelling of the investment. However, with so high investment amount certainly this user would have no problem changing the withdrawal address .. if only he knew that the Coinbase deposit and withdrawal address are different.
1417  Economy / Gambling / Re: FreeBitco.in - Win a Lamborghini Huracan LP 580-2!! on: November 21, 2019, 11:39:50 AM
^ What he said. After all, the win amount is capped at 20BTC so of you want to win that 32 back, you've to bet another 12, that is if you've got the pocket (and guts) Cheesy

I don't understand how it is not going to work.. if you want to win 32 btc, wager 10 btc with %50 chance and wager another 6 with the the same setup. Theoretically it is the same thing as wagering 16 btc at once to get 32...

Not exactly. Keep in mind the house edge. As far as I know, it is 5% on Freebitco.in (I think it was before, but I can be wrong). Anyway with one roll the risk is less than with several.

You are right I missed that part. The more you play the more chances for the house edge to get its %5 cut out from you.

This could be tolerated if we were trying to win only 30-32btc but things change a lot when we try to win something like 60 btc. (you'll need to wager 10btc 3 times)

Unfortunately. The longer you play, the more likely you lose. Maybe little off top, but playing in casinos, on machines, I noticed a certain regularity. Not always, but often. At the beginning, the machine gives you a win to make you think that there is a chance to win more, because it came so easily and quickly .. However, over time, it gets what gives you at the beginning and what is yours also .. Wink

So how to protect yourself from mistakes? There are many scammers on the Internet.

Keep your eyes open and remember that if something looks too good, it's almost certainly a scam. And most importantly, learn and read topics like this. Although in this one is not about scam, it's about user's inattention (or lack of knowledge).

Mt Gox was run by a guy who had no history of running any sort of exchange or fintech company. Binance's CZ was former CTO of OKCoin, there is absolutely no comparison here.
You're right. But I just wanted to say that there are chances to lose money both when using small exchanges and when using large and popular exchanges. History knows enough of these examples.

Of course you shouldn't keep funds on any online wallet. However, when it comes to one transaction, exchanges are necessary because not everyone has the option of F2F transactions. Of course, then it is better to choose the larger and more well-known exchange, but it is also often the case that the less-known coins are listed only on little exchanges. Unfortunately, then we have to take this risk. The risk is on every exchange, but certainly on bigger exchange is smaller. In this case it looks like someone is forced to use Coinsbit and just want to know opinion of other users.
