1561  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Anyone here that experience a long bear market besides this one? on: December 17, 2018, 08:53:36 PM
Anyone here that experience a long bear market besides this one? Did you know when the bear market ended?

I wonder when will be the end to our bear market. I see so many negative news here lately

Just look at the historical Bitcoin price charts. You can never be sure that history will repeat, but everything says that we are very close to the end of the bear market. Here you have an interesting comparison:

1562  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bright future for Ripple? on: December 17, 2018, 04:24:56 PM
I still have high hopes for XRP!

Since XRP is not really a cryptocurrency and it's also centralized, it has plenty of enemies.
However, it's an interesting speculation tool  Smiley
There are many good news in XRP world, but somehow XRP was always surrounded by good news, some real, some not.
So while I also expect XRP rise (I actually expect all crypto start rising soon enough), you better be careful with those news, some may be just a trick for short lived pumps.

Exactly. Thanks to the fact that inexperienced users can see the amazing future in XRP, speculants and traders can earn quite a lot on it.
Unfortunately sooner or later this bankster toy will end badly ..
1563  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Open your eyes! on: December 17, 2018, 03:50:30 PM
At this point, it is important, because the market cap is still very small and someone who has very large funds can try to manipulate the price. In the future, when cryptocurrencies hit the mainstream and the market cap will be hundreds times larger, it will not be so important, because the value will be much more distributed.
1564  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Anyone still using Medium to post Bitcoin related topics on: December 17, 2018, 03:36:39 PM
For sure I can not talk about the whole Bitcoin community, but I am mainly looking at ICO and undoubtedly Medium is the most frequent channel (blog) used by projects in this market.
1565  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Mining vs Buying on: December 15, 2018, 10:13:37 PM
Is it better to get BTC via mining or buying now?
It was no longer profitable early this year for mining. However, with the recent price surge, does mining becomes profitable now?
If yes, any suggestion? There are quite many cloud miner in the market.

I do not know where you have information that at the beginning of this year mining was unprofitable..  Roll Eyes
This is simple: When the BTC price is high, the profitability increases, when the price is low, the profitability is low, or you even lose on it. It mainly depends on the cost of electricity, but at the current price, the answer is simple - it is better to buy BTC than to mine.
1566  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin was made by CIA or NSA on: December 15, 2018, 08:55:12 PM
I think that the identity of Satoshi Nakamoto will never be revealed, so everyone can think of any story and say that his story is true.
Recently, new interesting stories have appeared:

1567  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Invest in ICO this time, yes or no? on: December 15, 2018, 08:45:59 PM
Better invest in ethrevolution.io than in any ICO

So you think it's better to give money directly to the scammers than to invest in a prospective project?! The link you gave is a typical ponzi scheme! Stay away from that!

Bear market has made that many ICOs collapsed, but that does not mean that good projects will not survive! The most important is first to learn the fundamental analysis to be able to understand whether the project is worth the investment.
1568  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: ✅🚀[ANN] [ICO] KEPLER - Next Generation Blockchain Platform For AI & Robotics🚀 on: December 07, 2018, 10:47:22 AM
A video update is being prepared as we speak now. It will be released either today or tomorrow. Please stay tuned.

The video update will either be today or tomorrow.

ok

Do you know that you and the project have not yet fulfilled any of promises?

I wonder if it will be a surprise this time, or will it be as always ...
1569  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why is there no marketing for BTC? on: December 06, 2018, 03:41:39 PM
But this is decentralization! Who would you think would pay for marketing campaigns? It's us - community that promotes cryptocurrencies around you - talking about it with family or friends.

Of course, there are people who are much more involved - for example Andreas M. Antonopoulos

1570  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How many people have btc? on: December 06, 2018, 03:21:25 PM
There is a difference between those people who know about the existence of Bitcoin, those who own it and those who use it.
I think that no one can give a number, but when it comes to the percentage share in the whole population, it is less than 1% of people who use Bitcoin, maybe even less than 0.05% of whole population.
1571  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Time to buy back every thing on: December 06, 2018, 03:12:00 PM
I think it is time to buy BTC and alts step by step.
We may not see this price again.
Maybe you're right, maybe you're not. I would have waited until it went lower. Many people say that this is exactly what will happen. Some predict bitcoin for 2000$. I do not believe, but who knows what happens in the cryptocurrency market.

We can see that the price of Bitcoin stabilizes around $4000, which everyone takes as a positive signal. However, I am afraid that it may happen the same as it was when the price started to stabilize around $6000... A drop to the level of $2000 will not be a big surprise for me.
1572  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH continues to lose value (road down to $50?) on: December 06, 2018, 02:43:00 PM
Ethereum price does not drop because it lost its potential, but because the price of Bitcoin falls. To predict the price of ETH, first we must answer the question whether the price of BTC will fall even more .. Unfortunately, but it is very likely that the price of BTC will fall below $3k, and then $ 50 for ETH is very possible.
1573  Economy / Speculation / Re: What to expect from Bitcoin after the last BTC gets mined? on: December 06, 2018, 02:10:28 PM
It seems to me, that no one currently living will see the last mined Bitcoin ..
From the economic side, whenever the supply of an item ends, its price increases incredible (Stradiwarius violin).
On the technical side - technology is moving forward so fast that before the last Bitcoin is mined, i'm sure that will be created Bitcoin 2, or even Bitcoin 3. Miners will move to mine new "BTCs" and there will be not enough power to mine the last Bitcoin.
1574  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: ONLY A FEW PEOPLE WITH THE MOST BITCOIN CONTROL THE MARKET on: December 06, 2018, 02:00:31 PM
I believe the crypto market, is heavily manipulated, I'm of the opinion that only a few very powerful people or government, now HODL the most Bitcoin, And are responsible for where the price goes and as a result the entire market is under choas. Is this even possible? I think it is, what's your own opinion?

In fact, when the market is in panic it is very easy to manipulate confused investors, but certainly it is not a few people. If such manipulation happens, then these are rather large companies or investment funds.
1575  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: ✅🚀[ANN] [ICO] KEPLER - Next Generation Blockchain Platform For AI & Robotics🚀 on: December 06, 2018, 01:37:10 PM
One of my favorite projects that hasn't received a huge amount of hype. Giorgi and team are crushing it and im excited to see what innovations they bring to fruition thanks to their platform

Let's hope that Kepler will survive this difficult period on the cryptocurrency market and we will see these modern innovations..

Will we receive an update about the next delays today?
1576  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Bounties (Altcoins) / Re: [BOUNTY] AYWA⛔ONLY 3 WEEK BOUNTY⛔⛔COIN LISTED ON EXCHANGE (PARTICIPANT LIMITED)⛔ on: December 05, 2018, 04:38:43 PM
80 $ all pool of bounty???

I just wanted to ask the same thing ...
From my counting it is a bit more:
On https://bitstorage.finance/market/AYWA-BTC price is 1 AYWA = 0.00000150 BTC
Bounty pool 100,000 AYWA

0.00000150 * 100,000 = 0.15 BTC

BTC price now: $3845

So bounty pool is 0.15 * 3845 = $576,75

"Participant limited" to 8500 users!

You want to split 600 bucks between 8500 users?

really?!?  Grin Grin Grin
1577  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: 📣🌍[ANN] A Vaping Industry Powered by Blockchain📣🌍 ICO ends Dec 30, 2018 on: December 05, 2018, 11:29:34 AM
Hello,

If the information on website about collected amount is correct, it means that even in the extended time the ICO has not yet collected the minimum. It looks like there may be a problem with reaching the softcap..
Can anyone confirm if the information on the amount of funds collected on the website is correct?
1578  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] EcoStart - A new approach to financing of ecological projects on: December 05, 2018, 09:00:19 AM

1579  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do you measure the success of Bitcoin? on: November 29, 2018, 03:54:06 PM
I measure the success of bitcoin based on price, if bitcoin has a high price it is a success in my opinion. because the price of bitcoin cannot be opposed by any coin

Price can always be a determinant, and certainly is one of the most important as well as the market cap. However, in my opinion the most important thing determining the success of Bitcoin is its popularity and technology that is ahead of the present times for decades. I think like that because the price can be manipulated, as we have seen in recent weeks. But when more people talk about Bitcoin, i'm more sure about his further success.
1580  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Destroyed me at all. on: November 29, 2018, 02:46:05 PM
Few months back i purchased arround 15 to 16 btc when bitcoin price was 10000$ to 11000$ each btc but now arround 4000$ each btc .Just waiting for 11000$ for each btc than i should leave btc and i can see bitcoin have no future in this time.
Bitcoin has no future, and you do not believe in it? You can see that the current price of Bitcoin is $ 4,300 and that this price is $ 600 higher than it was in early 2017. You should compare the value that it achieved earlier to evaluate it in the best way.

The history of the Bitcoin price is repeated, but one day it may end. In this case, if someone hold coins to this moment and did not sell, he should definitely hold them to another bull run. Unfortunately, we do not know when it will be, but technology is still going forward, and Bitcoin is at the forefront, so we should not worry about the future of the price, just wait patiently.
