Sweeet, I believe Warden is talking about the thing I messaged you about. The whole Warden pays me, you pay Warden thing Smiley

Isn't sweeet's debt pegged in USD?

Hi Sweet
In response to your message, I would like my layout in BTC as USD is not my native currency. No rush, but do you have any idea of when I will be receiving my funds back? I'm on edge a little haha.
Thanks for keeping us updated.
Well its not like I'd be repaying you in USD just in BTC but the value of the Bitcoin is calculated from the USD value of bitcoin from the time of your transaction. So I would be repaying you in BTC but you would receive the same amount of USD value instead of BTC value. As of time of repayment I have no clue I am first repaying drunkenone then Taras then you.

How can you state the repayment amount from sweeet in terms of BTC....

I paid Sweeet 0.06, which is due to be returned to me at some unknown point.

Why don't I just tell Sweet I want my 0.06 now?
Because that's what everyone wants, and what everyone can't get at the moment.

What will I earn?
To get the repayment of my 0.06 stake directly from Sweeet, I ask to be paid 0.053. This is negotiable

If BTC could double tomorrow and then only be repaid half of the .6 BTC pegged to USD, or crash X4 tomorow and be repaid 4X in btc??

And..
If you agree to lock your BTC to the USD value at the time it was sent which is: $5341

Is that .06 BTC pegged at $5341 or is that $19,500 BTC?

Hmm..

If that .06 BTC is pegged at $5300 and now we are at $19,500 that's like ... 0.0163 BTC now for full repayment..

This MUST not be the case if you are stating a projected profit of $180 from buying this debt note at 0.05BTC
Hi
My btc with Sweeet is not locked in usd. I am owed 0.06. Now I have asked for 0.046, that leaves 0.014 (~270 USD). If my repayment amount is in BTC, why would I be paid 0.12 if the value halved? 0.06, that is all.

Any news on the new method Sweet?
Thanks.

Will take 0.046.

Money is tight right now with christmas and I've got a nice shiny PC to build. Ill take 0.049, currently around a $180 profit for the loaner.
Thanks.

Sorry to ask these questions but i get a bit lost here.

1-You get the 0.53BTC that you ask or not?
2-If you get them, how your Lender will profit 180$?
3-If you don't get them, same question as above. How your Lender will profit 180$?
Short and sweet:
• The lender gives me 0.05
• If and when Sweet repays, which I genuinely believe is looking promising, they will pay it straigt to the person that gave me 0.05.

I can haggle because I need the money, but im not sure if it can be a lot.

As an update, I believe I found a new method that would be similar in profits yet wouldn't require bank transfers nor Paypal, if so I will be able to make repayments right away and also would be able to profit x10 faster at lower volumes. I will let you know if I start doing this and am successful.
Any news Sweet Smiley?
Thanks.

Just read through some of the last posts, sad to see that this has turned on its head, though of course people should have been aware of the risks.

Here's rule number one in economics - it takes money to make money, rule . Rule number 2 is the amount of money made is usually proportional to the risk involved.

However, there may be a chance to redeem yourself, or at least recoup some of the funds..... Sell the method you were using. Write it up in detail, make it fool proof, provide evidence of previous earnings etc.

Sweeet has already said they will not sell the method. However the new method, if it works, sounds good. I trust Sweeet to pay us back properly, as they have done so before.

Awesome!
Thanks for updating us. I am praying for both yours, my own and everyone elses sake that this works well  Wink

Best of luck.

UPDATE: Sweet has consented to me making this deal

UPDATE: Sweet has posted about progress on repayments. Again, take it with a pinch of salt as always. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1695356.msg25999131#msg25999131
33  Economy / Currency exchange / Buying Bitcoin In UK - Need Up To 200 GBP on: December 08, 2017, 10:49:44 PM
Hi
Looking to buy some BTC tonight. I'm paying 2% above market price, the highest on Local Bitcoins to my knowledge in this volume.

Basically I lost out big and need to rebuild it fairly quickly. Trying to get started trading on Local Bitcoins but need some initial trades to get my listing somewhere in the ranks.

Payment by National Bank Transfer on Local Bitcoins.
Thanks

Sweet may never pay her loans back - she is just a child.

Anyone who lends to you may never get their coin back from her.   Undecided
Yes, of course. This is why I've mentioned a few times that this is risky. Like I said, I personally trust I will get it back if I wait it out, I'm just not prepared to in my current situation.
The lender really needs to assess this for themselves. This is a risk like anything, but this is a complicated and needs looking at properly before any transactions are made. All I can say is that I have read that this has happened with Sweet before and they did pay their debts, but it was on a smaller scale.

I would be surprised if someone did fulfill this Vod  Wink
35  Economy / Lending / Investment Oppurtunity - Read Carefully, Please. on: December 08, 2017, 09:47:07 PM
Hi.
Please ensure you read this carefully, if you're going to bother.

As you may be aware, Sweeet's Investment service recently collapsed. I had a large stake in this, and I kind of need it back. Not need, but could really, really do with it back. I wasn't actually due to be paid until the 21st of December, so I would have requested my return early from them if this hadn't happened.

Short and sweet (no pun intended), I would like a loan that I won't pay it back. Sweeet will pay you, instead of me. This is a little far fetched and I certainly understand this is really pushing it. I paid Sweeet 0.06, which is due to be returned to me at some unknown point. Sweet currently has 0.07 to repay investors and is working on it as we speak, but I would rather not wait, to put it vaguely. I 99% trust Sweet, but it doesn't mean you can. Because of this, you need to consider Sweet's trust ability, not mine. You're not really lending to me, in a sense.

Why don't I just tell Sweet I want my 0.06 now?
Because that's what everyone wants, and what everyone can't get at the moment.

This is ridiculous, lock the thread.
Yes, I know, but someone may have dealt with Sweeet previously or just have the faith.

What will I earn?
To get the repayment of my 0.06 stake directly from Sweeet, I ask to be paid 0.053. This is negotiable but I can't budge much, I'm already losing 0.013.

How/will I be repaid?
This is the really important part. Will you be repaid? I think so, yes. But also yes, this is a big risk to take. A non-bias analysis of the current situation says that Sweeet will be repaying because he would have gone by now, but everyone has an opinion. You can expect to wait a few months, too.

I'm happy to negotiate in PM, but any final deal will need to be in this thread.

This is crazy I know, but I'm in a small pickle Wink
I treasure my profile a lot, so if I'm just going to be hammered with negative feedback I'd much rather delete the thread and wait a while. I genuinely cannot predict how this is going to come across to you forum members, but I hope it sounds okay.

Ask anything you have to ask.

Do you have an update on the situation at all?
Thanks Smiley

I woke up this morning to the terrifying message that my Paypal account is being permanently closed, without explanation or reason. It said: "At PayPal, we value a safe community for our customers to do business. We noticed activity in your account that’s inconsistent with our User Agreement and we no longer offer you PayPal services." Also: "Any money in your balance will be held for 180 days, after which we’ll send you an email with instructions about transferring your money." Luckily there is only about $800 on the paypal.

Even worse I am still at a debt to repaying all of your investments due to my margin trading losses. I now no way to grow the funds. I don't know how I will come up with the money yet, I need to find a new payment processor. For now expect possible late repayments, partial payments, and all repayments will have to interest less unfortunately. If anyone has any information of services like Paypal for receiving payments please contact me. Also I will not be taken any further investments until this is sorted.

Im extremely sorry to put everyone in this position.

Payeer seem to be a good cryptocurrency acceptor for transferring funds (I think they accept US$ and € at least along with bitcoin and conversions (but these conversions might be slow)...

Providing I get my 0.2BTC back, I don't particularly care when it is (if you can pay everyone else back with the funds you have then do that and wait until you're more financially stable to repay me).

you should have learned your lesson about margin trading since the 3.5k initial loss.
That is very kind of you. However, I'm happy to only get 95% of my investments back and take the rest as just a loss, meaning everyone can get something back.

Personally I'm just praying we ever see Sweet again - because the money I gave to him was my funds to pay for living whilst at college. I'm not angry, because I guess you can't risk what you're not prepared to lose.

Just a kick in the teeth, eh?  Undecided

Like I expected, it seems like you and a few others would need the money faster than me and have a better priority in getting it.
Sweet, if you need the 180+ days to collect the funds for me and can pay everyone else much faster then do it as I see you're quite honest and my investment is the largest on the sheet.
(Just seriously stop margin trading).
I meant so that everyone can take around 90-95% of their investments away within the next week. I really have no reason to get it back before everyone else, everyone wants their own back asap I would imagine. However, your offer is very kind. I just am highly convinced we will not be seeing Sweet again.

Hi Sweet.
Okay, seems a bit of a nightmare. $800 of all investments is not a huge amount, right? Would it be viable to send everyone the majority of their investments back and then the last little bit when the 800 Is returned or when you can afford It?
Thanks

EDIT:
Can also be worth giving them a quick ring. I have had lonnngggg holds released this way. I honour your transparency. Sucks a little bit as this was the majority of my investments for when I go to university...
