How lucky have you guys been with undervoltage?
How low can you get, how efficient can you be while keeping the default frequency?
Everyone is my thread is overclocking but I do have some bmminers with lower voltage for undervoltoing |

power wise i agree, its not advised, but sometimes there are good reasons to do so.
Is there a way to get 14TH out of it?
I mean sure if you have really cheap power but you would need sub 4 cent power as efficiency goes out of whack on them. |

But I agree 100% not to mount Bmminer S9 that VERY strongly risk giving the error "PIC Error" and brick one or more hash board ...

Can i copy the Bmminer also on a T9+, or does it not work like that?

T9+ is annoying to overclock and honestly not worth it. Don't do it also this one won't work. |

Is it possible to make a 13T or 13.5T a 14T miner?
I mean they have the same number of chips and same firmware flashed for all?
On the auto tune S9s the speed is baked into the board and the firmware reads from it to know how fast to run the board. Physically they are all identical. You can use a fixed firmware or braiins OS to give yourself the ability to select speeds yourself. I currently have a 13.5TH s9 running the braiins firmware @ 15TH stable for the last week. |

Great idea, thanks! With the bmminer 900 at 800Mhz the GH/S(ideal) and GH/S(RT) is very close, boards speed almost equal and the has rate is 17.15 TH/s. The power draw from the wall is 1900W, and this is the max of an APW3++ power supply, I confirm. At 825Mhz the PSU overloaded and switch off. So I need a second PSU.  Use 1 psu. The difference you gain is so small verse the power you draw beyond 800mhz. |

Or you could just invest $21 in this coin and have $2100 in 3-4 months as you say. Do you expect that you will sell this to more than 100 people to make it worth your while? What drugs are you on? Serious question as it must be a cocktail.

and I just saw the announcement on ebang miner better on paper then this one. 45 watts a th at the wall 44th
Ebang is known for over-promising and under delivering. I got a long email chain with them from before but they seem more true to their word on this one. Time will tell and I think my email chain is getting my a front row seat to maybe getting my hands on on early since they know me on the forums. I might have to join this review bandwagon boys haha. |

Yeah, it can't really be flashed by end users since production units don't have SD card slots. Probably also high chance of causing damage since I don't think it properly handles all hashboard variants(I skimmed their cgminer code and it appears to be missing the code for handling the different hashboard VID variants).
I dug into it. It is just a modded bmminer like my firmware and many others. The different is their firmware flash they built replaces the interface web files with their customs ones that make it look all fancy. So it's the same thing. |

I have only S9 with APW3++ PSU and bmminer880:
13.5TH miners running @15.4-15.8 TH @ 1620-1690W with 750MHz
13.0TH miners running @15.6 @ 1620W with 750MHz
14.0TH miners running @ 15.5-16.5 TH @ 1680-1720W with 725-775MHz
Is there any way to tune each board or even chip individually? I can not find any legit info about that.
You can it's a bitch and a half to code it but the gains are so small it isn't really worth it. Board tuning would be easier to do but if you got apw3++ only I wouldn't bother since you will have some boards that can take more power and clock higher and not enough juice out of that apw |

I run them at about 1750W now with bmminer880 at 750-775MHz. I had to tune one miner down to 725MHz because after some time it showed 0TH. The others run fine.
I might slowly ramp them up. But I want to stay with 880 for now and test how high I can go.
Are you running on s9 13.5 14 or s9i/s9j? |
