362  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum POW - ETHW on: October 06, 2022, 01:23:02 AM
Binance exchange is always slow when it comes to forks and airdrops, even if the fork is ready they may not open trading instantly, I still have my sologenic on the exchange till date, it seems the project will never open up for trading on binance exchange.
but don't worry, if Binance has made an announcement regarding ETH PoW I don't think there will be a problem,
it's just that the distribution will have to take time, and all we have to do as Binance users is of course be patient,
because Binance will not break its promise for distribute ETH PoW to Ethereum Holders.

Good news for ETH holders in Binance, this will make Ethw more popular, I'm sure after this news, many users will save Eth in Binance Wallet, and things like this are common in Binance, until now I have got a lot of coins or free token from binance.
Unfortunately, up to now, ETHW has not been traded on Binance, even though there have been many exchanges that have opened ETHW trading,
such as FTX, Huobi, Kraken and Kucoin, of course, there are many more, there is no recent news regarding ETHW on Binance,
i think Binance really prepare the ETHW network carefully before opening.

Exchanges like us, each will have different investment strategies. The fact that binance is in no rush to open trades for ETHW is a good thing in my opinion and I am still holding ETHW until binance gets into the game. Currently ETHW has not received too much attention other than that the recipients of the free airdrop are all dumping to make a profit, so opening a trade now is not too different. Personally I think ETHW will perform better and worth the investment than ETC so no need to despair or rush right now, just be patient and wait for the upcoming developments as bitcoin pulls the market back up.
363  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: we deserve to have bitcoin on: October 06, 2022, 01:08:43 AM
Honestly, we have been given an equal chance to buy Bitcoin but unfortunately, not all take and consider this as an opportunity. Perhaps, many people (majority) are just ignoring this and even talk negatively, a scam, a Ponzi scheme. Now, many of these people had realized, yet it was late already as the price of Bitcoin is going high and expensive, unlike 10 years ago.

Yes, we deserve to have some but also, we have to trust Bitcoin first and do something to have it, not just sitting down and waiting.

No, it's not too late, there's still a chance for everyone as long as they truly realize and have faith in bitcoin.
Bitcoin once gave a chance to all but please also sympathize with those who did not seize the opportunity then because fear is part of being human and they have the right to worry when bitcoin is still a mystery in the past. Although the bitcoin price is very high today compared to 10 years ago but I would also like to say that investing in bitcoin today is safer than investing in bitcoin 10 years ago.
Right now, as long as people realize and immediately start investing in bitcoin, do not hesitate any longer, the opportunity is still there, the current bitcoin price is too cheap compared to what it brings.
364  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Does everyone want bitcoin to be stable in price? on: October 06, 2022, 12:54:19 AM
No for me.
Volatility is a double-edged sword for both investors and traders. Volatility can give you profit but at the same time, can give you losses.

I mean why would people want Bitcoin to be stable. Bitcoin right now is more of an asset than a currency and every asset is volatile in their own ways. Volatility makes millionaires but at the same time, volatility can cause massive losses to an investor. Overall, I don't think that we will come to a point where Bitcoin will have a stable price or maybe in the next decade we don't know.
It's a double sword so it can also cause you more harm than good. Maybe you like it because you know how to deal with it but for someone who doesn't, they are wishing that btc will be stable. Not to the point that its stability will be on the same level as a stable coin because earning with it is going to be impossible anymore.

The price of btc might have changed dramatically. It now cost thousands of dollars but it doesn't change the fact that btc is still a currency. Some people only think that btc is an asset due to its benefits. By the time btc was still new and its value is still small, many people already noticed this so there's people who already invest in btc even before.

If someone is hoping bitcoin will stabilize then they shouldn't invest in bitcoin because today we have gold, real estate is a stable, not too volatile asset for them to invest in.
If someone can't make a profit and loss from bitcoin, don't blame bitcoin or fear its volatility but ask yourself why so many other people can profit from it but we are not.
Bitcoin is also just an investment but it has greater volatility than other speculative assets and also an opportunity for us to exploit. So don't expect it to become stable, that's not necessarily a good thing.
365  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🥊 The UFC Info and Prediction Thread on: October 05, 2022, 05:49:05 PM
As far as I know, Francis Ngannou does not have an existing contract with UFC at this time. Moreover, he said that unless certain terms and conditions are met by the UFC, he would not sign a new contract. I have also heard that he recently had to borrow money from someone to live. Furthermore, it is not difficult to understand that the relationship between Dana White and Ngannou is not at all a good one. So, I really don't know if the demands of Francis Ngannou will be met.

Moreover, I do not really understand how someone like Ryan Garcia can earn more than Francis Ngannou! If anything I think UFC is actually earning more. Therefore, it isn't going to be hard for Dana White, the president of the UFC, to pay the fighters a little more in order to keep them happy.
Even though Francis Ngannou doesn't get paid higher than Ryan Garcia, but do you think $100,000-$500,000 per fights are low? I don't think so, he's must be have a luxury life style so that's make him to borrow money similar like Mike Tyson. Ngannou said the UFC rules that's make him not want to sign the contract, but at the same time he said he wouldn't fight for $500,000 only, so this mean money is the reason why he doesn't want to sign the contract.

Ryan Garcia is just handsome and have undefeated record, that's the reason why he can be paid more although his skill is suck.

I really don't understand how the world heavyweight champion of UFC can earn $100,000-$500000 when someone like Ryan Garcia is earning almost 3 million dollars from 1 fight.
I also believe that Ryan Garcia was assured that he would receive $1 million for the fight with Tagoe, regardless of the result.
I think the UFC should look at that and give the fighters the actual money that they deserve.

$500,000 is a big money but it is also small considering UFC revenues. The reality is, UFC stars are underpaid while many boxing stars and superstars are overpaid. Boxing and UFC numbers are now at par with each other. It's just that the UFC is giving its fighters the small cut while in boxing, many of its stars and superstars are getting huge cuts and at the same time they also get guaranteed purses. Boxing promoters and networks many times lost millions of dollars on failed PPVs yet they continue to overpay and give guaranteed purses to their stars and superstars because they know that they can earn big in their next events.

Meanwhile, I woke up this morning seeing the news of Swede Khamzat Chimaev being detained in Russia after planning a short vacation in his birthplace Chechnya. His manager denied the rumors but probably to stop it from spreading.

In the UFC we have some genuine fighters who are not getting paid as they should be. In boxing, we have dumb fighters who barely possess any skills and who are getting paid like crazy.

As far as I know, Khamzat Chimaev had his passport seized in Russia. They are not trying to spread this information. That's why after that I really did not hear anything else.

The Champions League matches didn't end as I expected at all yesterday. I decided to play some blackjack to blow off some steam after that. I made up for all my losses. I won 11 times in a row. To be honest I didn't experience such thing before so I wanted to share it with you also. I guess I'm a little lucky in this kind of games. Smiley

Don't be upset, Today we have some easy matches in UCL.
Take my tips, and thank me later Wink.

Copenhagen is no match for Man City Cheesy. Manchester City is on fire right now. They're gonna have an easy match.
With this win, Manchester City is going to make the difference of points a lot more with the teams below.
Walker and Stones won't play, as far as I know. It's likely that Joao Cancelo will play at RB. Nothing much to look forward to from Copenhagen.
I'm just thinking about how many goals Manchester City will score right now Grin.

It's gonna be a blowout. Obviously, Real Madrid won't have too many problems in this match. Well, that's what I think.
However, Shakhtar will be very determined to win because a win can put them ahead of Real Madrid. Realistically, I don't think they've got a chance, But I wouldn't be surprised if it's a 2-2 draw.

Valverde will probably play right-wing for Real Madrid in this match. Shakhtar's Left Winger is very effective, so Real Madrid's Right Winger will have to work hard.

I'm curious if Rudiger will play in this match? He hasn't developed chemistry with the other players yet. Ancelotti might play him since this is supposed to be an easy match.
367  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: That's why I really like bitcoin :) on: October 05, 2022, 02:52:14 PM
It’s decentralized, no need for any 3rd party to babysit your sale and take a piece of it. In developing nations, this technology is enabling more practical operations that will enable translucency and combat corruption in governments.

Then why is it so difficult for governments to accept Bitcoin or other cryptocurrencies as currency. I believe, most of the current use of Bitcoin is private parties, while government agencies are more controversial and even reject Bitcoin.
If Bitcoin is good, why don't they use it? Of course this is a question that arises in our minds.
We know that most state institutions around the world are not clean from corruption. So they reject the transparency system that can interfere with their actions, namely corruption. They don't reject Bitcoin, but they reject the transparency system that exists in Bitcoin. My assumption is so, although the assumption is too much.

Bitcoin like everything else in the world, cannot please everyone. The government saying bitcoin is not good does not mean not good, not good for them but it has a lot of benefits for us, maybe it's not good for you but for me it would be great. The transparent system is what makes bitcoin different from the fiat they created, decentralized, transparent is the core of bitcoin, so they can't accept it. If they accept bitcoin, they won't be able to hide the crime they are committing behind the backs of citizens who trust them.
368  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Buying Bitcoin CBDC on: October 05, 2022, 02:39:27 PM
I had several questions but can only remember one at the moment. When the government issues CBDC’s, how would you purchase BTC privately being that the CBDC’s will let them survail every transaction if they wish. Seems like a silly question being they can do the same through your bank but……

I don't think the government would know if you are using it to buy bitcoin because, let show some examples to understand the transaction process. You are an American and you have dollar as cbdc and you are buying bitcoin, you send the cbdc (dollar) to the person that has bitcoin and person in return send you bitcoin that equivalent to the cbdc dollar amount. Therefore, with this transaction, the central authorities would only know that you make a transfer to another cbdc wallet or bank but not in bitcoin wallet. It will be very difficult for them to trace to bitcoin wallet since it was not directly to the bitcoin wallet. Inside the cbdc wallet there is no bitcoin so how can they know? The person will send it from another wallet that contain bitcoin.

That's how a lot of investors in countries that don't yet accept bitcoin use it. As I have seen, there has been a significant number of cryptocurrency buy and sell orders that are p2p, but the sender did not mention Bitcoin or any other cryptocurrency related content in the transfer text. This way the bank knows we're using the money but they don't know what to use it for, which has worked pretty well so far. And with CBDC too, the government will not be able to know when we buy bitcoin, from whom, very difficult to detect.

Do Francis Ngannou and Jon Jones even have existing contracts in the UFC? Maybe Jon Jones still has remaining years or fights under his UFC contract. But I haven't heard Francis Ngannou signed a new UFC contract since rejecting an offer after his victory over Gane. Ngannou must have rooted that the proposed exhibition fight with Tyson Fury becomes a reality. Now both Jon and Francis want big paydays yet Dana seemed okay to let these 2 become inactive.

Is it really that hard for Dana to pay big, especially his big stars? It's well-known that UFC is earning billions of dollars annually and I read that fighters' purses are only about 20% or less of its revenues. The good thing about the UFC is they can make great fights easily compared to boxing. But it is hard to swallow when a non-champion prospect in boxing like Ryan Garcia is earning more than Francis Ngannou.

As far as I know, Francis Ngannou does not have an existing contract with UFC at this time. Moreover, he said that unless certain terms and conditions are met by the UFC, he would not sign a new contract. I have also heard that he recently had to borrow money from someone to live. 371  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tennis League All Thread on: October 04, 2022, 06:20:31 PM
Sania Mirza is the one to bring tennis to limelight in India and throughout her career she is the No.1 Indian Tennis player and during the peak of her career in 2007 she managed to reach 27th World rank and no other women players from India is able to reach it. There are more young players, and we should also think the difference in competence between the year 2007 and 2022.
One thing I have noticed is there is lack of consistency and hard work in the people
Most people don't want to work hard. These stars and those who make a difference go an extra mile.
Sania Miza brought indian tennis to the limelight but after her marriage her career took a nosedive. She married a Pakistani cricketer and that is a big clash in her career too,
@romero121 I do remember those days but I never really understood why didn’t India produce another great star like her, and to be honest I don’t even recollect if there was any other Indian female tennis star besides her. Furthermore while her marriage was kinda controversial, but I don’t think it was the reason for her downfall rather I believe that it was her over confidence which never really allowed her to recover the heights that she had previously touched.

In the subcontinent, it doesn't matter if it's India, Bangladesh, In Pakistan or any other country, the carrier of a female is greatly affected after the marriage, irrespective of the country in which the female resides. As a matter of fact, I do not believe that her marriage was the main cause of her downfall. However, I think that was one of the reasons.

Furthermore, I also believe that she was a bit too overconfident in her abilities, which actually ended up hurting her in the long run. As I recall, the Indian media really praised her before she got married. There was a lot of controversy surrounding the marriage, and the praise had gone down. In addition, India is a country that has a greater emphasis on cricket than any other. If there is an athlete, especially a female athlete, then at least she has a genuine interest in cricket now.

How about you tell them about your $500 mycash paypal card that effectively triggered my paypal to get banned for the only reason I could think off the top of my head being the fact that you used stolen cards to push out those mycash cards hence why you were selling them for a $100 discount if I remember correctly. An then telling me that you assured me they were safe.
If anyone was scamming it was you bro an after tossing my name in the dirt when my paypal gets a ban hammer I walked away.

378  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Collection of 18.509 found and used Brainwallets on: August 08, 2022, 02:45:08 AM
Hi,

As been discussed many times before using a Brainwallet is a bad idea. I ran some test myself and found 18.509 BTC-addresses based on a brainwallet which also has been used in the blockchain before.

I tried to compare my results with the results of other researchers but could not find any lists online at all. I found some examples but not a comprehensive list. So I published my own results over here: https://eli5.eu/brainwallet

Please note: all published addresses have a balance of 0 so this is not a list for robbers Smiley. There are also a lot of extra datasets I haven't used this far so I expect the numbers to go up once I use them as well (I'm in the middle of perfecting my own tooling and blockchain parser so this will take some more time first).

I love to get some feedback and if you have results to share which I missed in this round I'm more than happy to hear from you and include them.

TA

ahahaha wow so whats the public address ?
379  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: No BIPs made since 2021-06-27 on: August 08, 2022, 02:44:16 AM
I find it quite disturbing that there hasn't been a single new BIP submitted to the github repository at https://github.com/bitcoin/bips, ever since 2021-06-27 [a bunch of BIPs about descriptors were made at that time]. What happened?

Have the bulk of the people lost interest in this kind of stuff?

I mean if I had to guess I would say bitcoin is pretty disproportionate in wallet sizes and not much really moving in blockchains just a guess though Cheesy
