81  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is the vaccine against the CBDC virus on: December 23, 2022, 01:36:18 PM
I don't hate fiat because I still use it every day, and it's still necessary for us, but the truth is that CBDCs are the worst and most trashy thing the government is trying to create. Although it offers more utility than fiat, we already have bitcoin, and we don't need more CBDC. CBDC is just a tool for them to control us entirely, I have never hated the government, but with the CBDC initiative, I cannot take their side.
82  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: December 23, 2022, 12:53:06 AM
My three favorite players right now are Ronaldo, Messi and Mbappe.
For Ronaldo, his transfer to the Arab side Riyadh where Al Nassr club is located, came after his fall out with Manchester United and everyone knows it is a money move into retirement. Whether he will stay can only be confirmed later as we wait.
Messi right now is contented at PSG. After all, he is playing in the champions league and they still have the chance of clenching the title. His move back to Barcelona or inter Milan is but a mere speculation until confirmed from true sources.
The only person I see that might leave if the price is right is Mbappe. He is the youngest of the trio and with a lot of potential to display. Although I feel he would stay to battle it out with his team mates at PSG this season, I can't say if he would love to stay in coming season. He has to win awards and titles, otherwise, in two or three years, he might have a competition who is more hungry than him and with a lot of potentials too.

I really do not know in which way the career of Cristiano Ronaldo is headed. He is not being able to find any team. At least not in a team that is playing in the Champions League, which he wants. He is being offered a lot of money but he does not want money. He wants respect and finishes his career with a bang. He is obviously not able to do that.

Lionel Messi is still performing well. He has just won the World Cup for his national team. Obviously, this is the biggest achievement of his life. At least especially at this stage of his career. he is going to stay in PSG.

Mbappe is one who has a long future ahead of him. Already a lot of people are saying that he is staying in PSG just because of Money. And that is actually true. If he actually was that much interested in his career, he would have already moved to Real Madrid or any other club that has good competition in the league.
83  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will you buy more ETH after reading this ? on: December 22, 2022, 02:41:10 PM
You are using a ponzi analysis when you analyze the data gathered for Ethereum price. Ofc Ethereum pump is not unlimited while the current price is already pump huge percentage why the need to invest now if you knew that the coin is already overvalued?

This is the common mistake by newbie assuming the pump will continue despite the price is already discovered compared to the early year. Institutional investors is already in so where will the fresh money will come from?
The same can be said about bitcoin, when everyone thinks it will pump up forever. Right now ETH is confidently in the second place by capitalization, but in the future it can become the first, because it has much more features than other cryptocurrencies. Although I don't believe yet that it will replace Bitcoin, I don't exclude that ETH will become more popular because of smart contracts and more implementation not only in business, but also in government system.
To be fair, it could happen, and I wouldn't be surprised if it did because the utility that Ethereum brings is so great. I don't remember the exact time, but in the past, there was a time when ETH took the lead and pushed bitcoin to 2nd place. Although that did not last long, it shows that the potential of eth is huge, no altcoin has yet. Bitcoin won't stand still to let ETH overtake, but I don't rule it out.
84  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Should your wife or husband know your seed phrase? on: December 22, 2022, 02:30:23 PM
That would be the dumbest thing I’d do. Love does make us do dumb shit. Some people are talking about trusting your partner. I trust my partner just not with my seed phrase unless we both used our funds to buy the bitcoins in the wallet else I think they are just some things that need to remain private. If you tell your partner your seed phrase, what happens in the event of a divorce??

It means you have no intention of maintaining a long-term marriage, and you are just trying to work for yourself and not for your family or children. There's too much intent in your words, even your spouse, if you don't trust, then there is no one worth your trust.

I am a married person, I strive to this day also for my small family, I think if I want to be rich but have to trade happiness, I would rather accept poverty. In my opinion, money is only a material thing, if it is lost, it can always be found again, but happiness on the other hand can be difficult to find.

85  Economy / Economics / Re: Russian Gas ban - A problem for Europe or suicide for Russia? on: December 22, 2022, 01:51:25 PM

In my opinion, there is no threat from the NATO countries for Russia.

I disagree with this thinking, if Nato does not want to threaten Russia or does not want to show strength, it should not expand the bloc and, even more should not drag Ukraine into Nato. So far, the war has become increasingly fierce, but the Nato side has never made any statement that Ukraine will not join Nato, they just vaguely said it was not the right time. If Russia and China don't do something to stop Nato, they will be even more extravagant and see them as the navel of the world.
86  Economy / Economics / Re: What is your biggest obstacle to achieving financial freedom ? on: December 22, 2022, 01:38:54 PM
Each of us has a unique life situation so what is your biggest obstacle to achieving it ?

Definitely, the availability of the sources of money.  With limited job opportunity and huge numbers of competitors, this one of the biggest obstacle to achieving financial freedom when we are born in a second to the poorest rank of the society.  Having no fund to start a business towards financial freedom is also one of the biggest obstacle.  But I think the no.1 biggest obstacle is ourselves.  Our mind setting and attitude our traits and how we perceive the things that is happening around us.  I always believe that if we wanted some change it must start from within us.

Doing the same thing over and over again will not produce different result, that is one of the saying that I am so fond of.  So if we need improvement, we have to improve ourselves too.

OP's question is too general for me, but your answer is absolutely correct. Our biggest obstacle is ourselves, we have forced ourselves into difficulties and barriers because of fear. We should not blame our circumstances and conditions for not being better than others, we are not brave enough to step out of our comfort zone to do things we have never done. "It's not your fault if you were born into a poor family, but it's your fault when you grow up poor." Our lives are what we choose.
87  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: December 21, 2022, 03:03:12 PM
Look like now Ten Haq after exit of Ronaldo trying his best for having good results and improved performance because their best target is end into top four and spot into Champions League because this can give new lifeline to this giant club as it's struggling for long time and having not impressive results but if they are able to solve their issues into defence and Middle field then surely they can feel good and have strong case for ending into top fours.
Hard work surely going to give better things to every one and here in Manchester United case is also things could be good, and they will be having positive results which will give them good dividend for their changes and positive attitude.
It is clear, that Manchester United are better off without Ronaldo. and vice versa for Ronaldo, Ronaldo can freely join any club in January. however, when talking about Manchester United. Manchester United are already on the right track, Ten Hag just needs to maximize his squad. I'm sure he can bring big changes to The Red Devils.
and right now, Manchester United just need a pure sticker to sharpen their front line. after all, it is rumored that Ten Hag will bring in several players in January. So far, there have been several players on his hunting list. even so, actually Manchester United still need the services of an attacking midfielder. however, we will find out once the transfer window has opened. and I'm sure Ten Hag can bring The Red Devils to finish in the top four until the end of this season.
Some early negotiations are rumored to be underway with Ten Hag regarding bringing in several players in January. There are likely to be a number of deals agreed this winter transfer window. As it stands, Man United would have been better without Ronaldo, but they are seeking a replacement who could be as good as him. I am just concerned about the latest FPP rules that could affect Man United's January transfer plans. The January window did not see much spending. Ten Hag's plan will be affected. For the club, this is a terrifying situation. A new owner is needed for Man United as soon as possible.

I will be really frustrated if Cristiano Ronaldo does not find a team that fits his search criteria right now. He has been one of the most prominent players of all time alongside another message for a long time. But right now it is really sad to see him like this.

But I agree with you that Cristiano Ronaldo is far better off without it and vice versa. He is old, but he still has good capabilities for playing football. I think he should be able to find a reliable team that is currently participating in the Champions League. Cristiano Ronaldo has already said that “money is not the issue” so I think he should be ready to take a pay cut. But the problem is none of the teams that are playing in the Champions League are interested in Cristiano Ronaldo.

Manchester United is doing well without him though. They are also trying to bring in younger players which they are obviously finding a lot more difficult to do.

89  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🥊 The UFC Info and Prediction Thread on: December 19, 2022, 06:46:45 PM
I missed the event, I've missed a lot of them this year. Hopefully, get to watch a little more next year. Anyway, what was the event like? I saw some highlights of the fights I was interested in, but it seems it was a rather messy affair in some of those fights?
Said showed a lot of weaknesses in the highlights I saw. Maybe, hype derailed a little? Strickland always talks a big game, but he's so timid in the cage. It's almost like he's a cat pawing out with that jab at times. Obviously, scores him points, but it doesn't really go with his pre fight words.
I understand that this was the last event of the year too, so I guess we'll be seeing each other in the new year. I haven't checked the dates yet.

It was a decent event overall for a Fight Night but nothing outstanding.  I guess it's better than nothing.  And I was kinda bored with the main event tbh.

Here are the results in case you want to see them.
https://www.tapology.com/fightcenter/events/92365-ufc-fight-night

So yeah...  Pie shitter of the event for me is Jake Matthews.  I really thought that what Semelsberger did to him, he would do to Semelsberger.  Serves me right for placing a UFC noob at my top ticket.  But we live to learn, but then again been making the same mistake over and over.  Lol.  Makes me mad and I can't wait for the next event which is still a month or so off.

I think in mixed martial art, a fighter will always need experience. If either of them have talent, he will always need to have some experience to actually be good.

Just look at Max Holloway. He was not so good at first. But after he had his first child, he became a new man altogether. It is never a good idea to trust a new fighter unless he has talent like Khabib Nurmagomedov or someone like that.
90  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Dogecoin Dead ? on: December 19, 2022, 01:50:36 PM
It's more likely that Elon will leave the CEO position of Twitter, but that doesn't mean it doesn't belong to him, just that he appoints someone else, and Elon is the one who influences Doge, not Twitter. As long as he continues to support it, the doge won't die.

And for the price of Dogecoin, it's survived a lot of tough times even if there's no Elon and hype.

I agree with this, Doge is hyped for having Elon but even without Elon's backing is very difficult to die. It will probably go back to its original position and go unnoticed but it won't die.
91  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What are you doing with your alt bags on: December 19, 2022, 01:41:28 PM
I do nothing for the altcoins I have in my wallet. I wait for its time to rise again, even though I know it will take time. And right now, many of those altcoins are dropping in price but I'm fine. But I'm still trying to buy more for those coins that have a chance to increase again. Hopefully, some altcoins can improve so I can be as profitable again as before. Now I still want to collect more bitcoins because they are still at a reasonable price for me.
We have no choice but to hold as any altcoin is currently down 80%-90% in value, selling now is pointless. And I doubt our altcoins, whether they will recover or not, is still a question, as not every coin can recover and reach ATH like bitcoin or ethereum. I think you should stop DCA for altcoins, it would be better to just focus on bitcoin, with a lot of altcoins crashing, I don't think altcoins should be trusted at the moment.
92  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: It's been 2 months and now I am doing well.(I guess). on: December 19, 2022, 01:28:54 PM
Unfortunately no bitcoin payments on the list Sad
Indeed. OP has said above that people are afraid to use BTC because the transaction takes a long time.
Considering this fact, I think OP can't say "doing well" on the title. He has a big problem here, people still don't want use BTC as the payment tool due to long time for its transaction.

I don't get why people use usdt to buy things. It's like converting your dollars to something much more risky to hold, without any reward.
Do you mean using USDT for payment tool is riskier? Or you mean holding USDT is riskier?
I don't see any problem to use USDT as a payment tool. It is even more secure because its price is stable. Don't avoid the fact that BTC is more volatile than USDT. By they way, OP shouldn't hold all the payments, he must convert them to dollars. It is the way to secure his bussiness profits.

Me too, what's wrong with using USDT for payment and not BTC? If it were me, I would also use USDT or any other coin that is not BTC, partly because of its volatility, and partly because I don't want to waste my bitcoins. We are trying to accumulate as many bitcoins as possible, there is no reason to use bitcoin when it is cheap and a waste of bitcoin, while we have many other options.
I still think he is doing well, accepting crypto payments has been a success, and choosing which coins to pay with is the client's decision, not his.
93  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Was Bitcoin project a failure after all ? on: December 19, 2022, 01:11:29 PM
I can't tell you that bitcoin could rise much more, but given its current price and popularity, I can assure you it's not a failed project. Failure is when the price of bitcoin goes to zero, when people no longer need and use bitcoin, that is called failure. Because a slight drop and we consider it a failure, that is not true, no asset can increase in value forever, even gold has volatility but their volatility is negligible.
94  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: December 18, 2022, 03:51:22 PM
Juventus achieved positive results in friendly match against Arsenal 0-2, although not strengthened by the main players at least the positive results are a good preparation for the match against Cremonese on December 5. Several Serie A teams from Milan, Inter and Juventus have friendly matches before Serie A begin next year.
Several Juventus players who played in the World Cup such as Vlahovic, Danilo and Alex Sandro are still not joining training even though their country has already been eliminated, I sure with Juventus chance in this season back to tittle race after consistency last six matches unbeaten and win in a row.
Juventus have little hope of competing for the Scudetto title this time, against Arsenal in a friendly match and winning, of course, is very good for the team's performance. It seems that Vlahovic, Danilo and Alex Sandro will play against Cremonese on January 5 2023, so this match will be the starting point for Juventus' revival in Serie A and at the same time make them move up to position 2 if they manage to win over their opponent.

Juventus were playing well before the break. They started the season absolutely horribly. But after that, they were able to recover and they started bringing in really successful results. Juventus have been really efficient defensively this season. You know, they have only conceded 7 goals this season. That is the lowest any team has conceded this season.

So we have to say that Juventus has been very efficient in terms of defense. If they continue to play this way and improve their attacking play, I think they are set to climb to the top of the table. Actually, I meant competing very closely with the top team Napoli. Is it possible for them to be consistent?
95  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: December 18, 2022, 11:58:30 AM
Goncalo Ramos is a young player who has great potential. It seems that he is putting on a decent performance at the moment.
I feel like buying a player just after a world cup because of a few good games is not a good idea. Look at James Rodriguez, dude got to Real Madrid with just one superb world cup tournament but we have not seen him do well at all after that.

It could be said that Goncalo played a great world cup as well but we have seen him play in 5 games, and that is not enough to just buy a player. United needs someone who has been consistently great, plus if they are going to pay that much money then it would be smarter to get someone who has proven themselves in premier league before. I think it would be smart to look for someone who is 28 or older and just get a free agent instead.

Manchester United have brought in some players based on their performance previously and that has not worked out very well for them. To date, they have brought in Harry Maguire and Romelo Lukaku, but both have been ineffective. I think Manchester United should not just look at recent performances and throw away money to get the player. They would be wise to make wise decisions about which players to invest in.

I don't think they should spend so much money on this player. If they can bring in a player who is a free agent and can play well, it is going to be more than helpful for them. But I don't think there are many free agents who will be able to play well and have smooth coordination with the other players on the team. The same is true for players because everything worthwhile is going to cost money.
96  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptocurrency (Bitcoin) Can't Be Stopped on: December 18, 2022, 10:37:45 AM
Centralized coins or centralized exchanges can be stopped because they can control them, but with bitcoin, it is an entirely different case. It has no operator, and no company behind it, and its operations span the world, so banning it is almost impossible. There might still be a way to stop bitcoin completely, but in my opinion, they would never do it because it's not worth doing, such as shutting down the entire internet or power. Those tasks can only be said on paper but cannot be performed.
97  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoins future is Bright on: December 18, 2022, 10:26:46 AM
To be fair, the future of bitcoin is unpredictable, but with what bitcoin has done in the past and we are investing in bitcoin, we have every right to hope for a bright future for bitcoin. Bitcoin is a volatile investment, it can also give us high returns and also make us lose, so invest only what you can lose, and bitcoin is not an investment that can make us rich overnight. We need to be patient and not mind its short-term decline, let's look at the long term.

It is also not about investing, but we will be using it as a payment method in the future, so the possibility is that we will be cashless as we are just using our phones or card to pay bills, etc. But for now, only a few establishments are accepting it, and also bitcoin is known to have a high price and is very volatile, which is why a lot of investors and traders what to get into it and gain profit, even though it is risky, they will still jump into it.

Although bitcoin was created to be a currency, a method of payment, so far, with what is going on, I really doubt that bitcoin will ever become a means of world payment. There are several countries that have legalized and accepted bitcoin as a means of payment, but accepting it is one thing and whether people use it or not is another. People are looking at bitcoins as an investment to increase their wealth, and most are trying to accumulate them rather than using them for daily payments. As long as bitcoin is volatile, it is extremely difficult to use it as a payment method, IMO.
98  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: December 18, 2022, 06:46:46 AM
As reported by Fabrizio Romano, that Chelsea and Christopher Nkunku have reached an agreement to sign a contract, it is also reported that a clause worth 60 million euros for this player and has undergone a medical test. He is only 25 years old and it seems that Chelsea's future will be a little bright, but Nkunku can only join Chelsea in July 2023. It seems that Graham Potter is lucky enough to get one of the good attacking midfielders, but he can also fill in as a second striker, a player from France who while defending RB Leipzig, this is so complete to strengthen Chelsea's attack line.
that's good to see that. That's better to get a young talented player like him. that's what is actually needed by chelsea. It's not a problem when he will be coming in july next year as long as he can be very beneficial for the club. Chelsea was still looking for the more quality players in january. I hope that there will be a big changes gonna happened with chelsea caused by it was always having the worst performance against EPL club. The chelsea's level has been degrading since it was not even able to enter into the top 4.
The chance for chelsea to enter into the top 4 will always there.
It's true that Chelsea certainly needs a talented player like Christopher Alan Nkunku, he has two functions as an attacker and midfielder, of course, this is the luck that Chelsea has to strengthen their team.
Chelsea's latest news was given the blessing of Ac Milan to recruit a striker named Rafael Leao who is a Portuguese national and is 23 years old, do you think Rafael is good for the Chelsea squad, considering that Chelsea currently needs players who are really talented to raise their level again after the slump in this season.

Chelsea made a wise decision with this signing. Christopher Nkunku is going to be an important player for Chelsea. Right now Chelsea are not playing very well. I think this player is well-placed to be able to give some stability to the squad.

I think Chelsea might actually need to play him as a second striker because Chelsea needs a lot of goals right now. But if that fails or does not work properly, there will always be the option to utilize him as their attacking midfielder. Obviously the most appropriate position for him is going to be attacking midfield. I wonder if that is the position he is going to play at Chelsea.
99  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Are the Whales Control bitcoin price? on: December 17, 2022, 02:49:00 PM
Whales are the largest mammals in the world and also the most powerful investors in this crypto market and have been around long before bitcoin or crypto existed, and whales play on people's emotions and use the opposite of what most people do and think.
when people are scared, they buy because most people are selling. And conversely when there is greed they sell because most people buy and a lot of people and small investors hate this but this is a part of this industry that is not going away.
Bitcoin price is determined by many factors, and whales alone still cannot control Bitcoin. When whales in the market move funds, it will cause panic to some investors. Whales will use people's emotions to change the direction of the market, and the market will fluctuate.
It is true that the bitcoin price is determined by many factors but I still believe that whales are still manipulating the bitcoin price. For me, the crypto market is so new and so small that manipulation is inevitable. With a market cap of less than $1 trillion and the absence of any regulation, price manipulation with sharks is incredibly easy. Of course, here there is not only one shark but there will be many and in the market, the story of big fish eating small fish always happens.
