If PSG wins it will be really interesting to see a player leaving the winning team, and joining with the losing team which he beat.  But I think it's better for him to join Real Madrid because first of all PSG playstyle does not suit him in my opinion and secondly, Real Madrid playstyle will be great for him and he will be a legend in the future with Real Madrid. There is obviously no reason why he should stay at PSG, you know. Well, maybe if PSG offers him two times or three times the money I think he might stay  . So 100-150 million euros per year? I think that would be crazy even for a club like PSG. I believe the Bayern players have given their best, even though the result was not as expected. Bayern in that match controlled the ball up to 72%

The problem is, if there is no set rules to restrict the players from taking part in leagues around the globe, you will not see any bilateral series or domestic tournaments and certainly the ICC or any cricket boards would not want that to happen.
I dont understand. Right now only Indian players are not taking part in any leagues except IPL, rest of the world is playing all leagues and still bilateral series are going on. Recently CA made there players missed first part of IPL due to there series with Pakistan and also South Africa board refused to issues NOC to there players since they have series against India. I think that they wanted to make it like football. But we all know that international matches are really important in cricket and a lot more than football. So I think there need to be set rules which the player will have to follow if they want to play League cricket. But the problem is sometimes in the past we have seen that the boards have refused their players to play IPL but the players did anyway and the boards took Strict action against those players. I think this was a really realistic result for this kind of match and how both teams played. I think still that Barcelona will need to do a lot more in Italy. Napoli also played some good football,while Barcelona is still trying to put all the new players togheter. Its hard to get fresh new players to play as a team in the first few months.
Napoli's performance in Seire A is remarkable. They are fighting for the title now. However, I did not like their performance against Barcelona at all. Barcelona's defense is not very strong. Even then Napoli played completely defensive in this match. Barcelona are improving themselves and consistently trying to play well. If they can maintain this continuity, then Barcelona will win the away match. It was never that easy for Barca before the match to begin with. Napoli are tough opponents and they are one of the title contenders of Serie A, it wasn't easy for Barcelona who just are picking themselves up from struggling stage. They still played good dominating game and given the size of Napoli they really did well by not allowing not many chances. Second leg will be even more interesting. Actually, Barcelona played quite well in that match but not well enough to have an advantage for the second leg, right? I was expected Barcelona to win this match but unfortunately, they could not deliver. I obviously think that Barcelona played really well and in my opinion dominated most of the match but I think Napoli has done a really good job to restrict the scoreline to 1-1. With respect to Maidak specifically, it appears that he was a successful trader for a number of years, then in mid-2014, it appears Maidak owed money to a number of people that he did not pay. There was a thread opened that alleges that Maidak defaulted on his obligations. One of his victims, FFrankie (at the time killyou72) alleged he was owed some money, and in 2017, FFrankie confirmed that he was made whole. There is a post with a quote in which Maidak admitted that the owed some forum members money (the post itself has since been edited). It is unclear if everyone has been made whole, as Maidak said "They would be shvbd refuses to change his feedback.... If all of Maidak's victims were eventually made whole, IMO it would be appropriate to remove the negative ratings. At the same time, PSG may get to keep him because of this, how? Dude managed to show them how much he deserves, without him they are not nearly as good as they are right now. LOL.. anyone watching the ongoing New Zealand vs South Africa test match? Kiwis prepared a minefield to welcome the Proteas and the latter got blown away for just 95 runs. Matt Henry picked up 7 for 23, while the other three pacers got one wicket apiece (Tim Southee, Kyle Jamieson and Neil Wagner). When it comes to pace bowling, there is simply no competition to New Zealand. They are the best right now, and that too by a considerable distance. Reminds me of the Aussie attack two decades back, when they had McGrath and Lee.
SA performed very well in there recent series against India they won both ODI and Test series. But they collapsed here and played just 2 sessions of Day 1, Zubayr Hamza was top scorer as he made 25 runs. NZ are in command now and odds are definitely in there favour. In my interval of around an hour after the toss had taken place, not only was SA's batting collapsed, but NZ is in command as well. NZ had some great spells, but I missed them. I don't mean to offend anyone, but I believe it's impossible to tell the pitch from the outfield at Hagley Oval. Winning the toss and getting the other team out is the goal. Afterwards, bat on Days 2, 3 and wear the opponents down, and you'll have a winner (home team) The pitch is absolutely green and it's absolutely true that the pitch is hard to separate from the outfield. This is absolutely nowhere near to the ideal pitch where cricket should be played. Looking at the pitch I think we all knew what is going to happen and I think we all got our answer. Forget about any bilateral series between these two nations for the next 20 years at least. The political spectrum in both India and Pakistan has moved very hard to the right and extreme voices are having complete dominance as of now. As per the scheduling, India was supposed to visit Pakistan one and half decades back, but they pulled out citing border clashes and terror attacks. The ICC has adopted a neutral stance on this matter, saying that the two countries should resolve the differences amicably.
Why next 20 years, you think the right wing extreme skilless imbeciles will be ruling for the next two more decades. Oh god i never think so, i will be surprised if they will be able to regain power during the next elections, you can fool people for a while with the gimmicks but not all the time. I actually think the opposite because this is not something that has been happening for one or two years. This has been happening for a long time between Pakistan and India. And will be happening in the future also in my opinion. And yes the people in power are dumb, but they are the people in power. If you know what I mean...
At least in India, there seems to be no unified opposition. The 2024 battle is going to be between the BJP (which is a pan-India party) and the TMC (which is mostly limited to West Bengal). I don't know much about the situation in Pakistan, but I guess Imran Khan doesn't have to deal with an effective opposition. I am not hearing much about either the PPP or the PML. And in reality it doesn't matter even if the government changes. I don't think that the other parties would take a favorable stance to the bilateral tour.
Under the current situation, I don't think that even if the government changes it will have any effect on the opinion that both countries hate each other. Looking at the difference in points, of course we can say that PSG has won the trophy this season, and of course other teams will be very unlikely to be able to stop PSG this season from winning the Ligue 1 trophy, I agree that it is time for PSG to focus more on winning The champions league right now and it can be said that if the champions league trophy should be their main target this season, I think the fans will be very happy if PSG are able to win the champions league trophy for the first time in their club history. I wouldn't be surprised if we see them on the bench from time to time.
Actually, I am ok with watching them on the bench for the league matches right now because the main focus is Champions League for them. And they cannot make this up this time. The loss to PSG is definitely going to bring doubts on moral to the Madrid team,and maybe if care is not taken,they may loose their next league game.
Consistency is all they need now in the league,and every game they play needs to be taken seriously bacause there is no hope in the champions league tittle.

If they lost in a regular fashion then I would totally understand. However, it was a dominating performance by PSG, they managed to win with a single goal on overtime which looks like Real played great but if you look at the possessions you will see that PSG actually had so many goal chances, I am not even talking about the missed penalty which happens time to time but all the other chances as well, they had so many chances but failed. Real got lucky on this game, it could have easily been 3-0 type of game if PSG managed to score some of those chances. Real should have kept their wide spread system, if they did that then they would have at least tire PSG out by the end, but instead Ancelotti changed the system and tried something new in such an important game and of course it failed. It failed better than expected at least, could have been even worse. PSG read really well and dominated the match against Real Madrid and it's true that Real Madrid were really lucky or the scoreline could easily have been 3-0. I actually did not expect this type of dominance from PSG. I honestly think that Real Madrid did well enough to come out of that match with only one goal deficit. But now it would be interesting to see if PSG can utilize their advantage well enough. I expected Real Madrid to do more in that match but I think that Real Madrid fans are going to be quite disappointed by the show that they put on. A lot of people may think that Real Madrid was unlucky to concede the losing goal in the extra time but I think PSG deserved to win that match. |

It's interesting that they didn't find so many chances to score. Messi is one of the best players in the world, but he played very badly last night. We've seen him start to age, he missed the chances he used to score goals  If Messi had scored on the penalty spot, PSG could have played more comfortably and scored more goals. Mbappe saved the team, scoring a great goal at the last minute I do not agree that Messi played badly last night. Messi was in the game even more than Mbappe, Messi was making the moves and impact that kept real Madrid in their own half. You can say that Messi was unlucky to have missed the penalty take. Another player that moved the ball too towards the end was Neymar and Mbappe. All the players did well and that is why they won. Then Mbappe did better. I have been hearing rumours that Real Madrid is interested in Mbappe, I think the interest will be high now. I was actually not expecting this type of aggressive and dominating performance from PSG. They really played well. But the missed penalty was really unlucky as we know penalty shots are all about luck. But I think ok we all know that Messi is not the best penalty taker and maybe it would have been better if Neymar or Kylian Mbappé took it. Anyway, it a great game for everyone to watch, and obviously Real Madrid is going to be interested in Kylian Mbappé more now and the money might also be on the rise. |

Overseas players are vital cog in a IPL machinery but franchise can't go after every foreign players. Demand and supply matters, for example if there are tons of solid openers and spinners available for the limited slots then obviously many would go unsold. Just look at every squad, almost every squad has at least 2-3 Indian batters who are ready to open the inning for their respective franchise, same with the spinners.
On budget i think BCCI should increase the overall purse, let's say additional 30% if not 50% because they earn shitload amount of time but with IPL they are into only business, that's it. Yeah it does help players on many account but its purely business. This brings another point if some players are not available for full season then they clearly don't deserve big amount, no matter how talented you are.
Yes, that's correct that all franchise has a habit of overspending on some undeserving players be it overseas or local but it also true that their value would go down drastically if they don't deliver, unless they are extremely talented. Remember its not a charity but investment for the franchise.
Overseas players are often bought with a lot of money but a lot of time we can see that they leave because of international duty and many other reasons. I think the other reasons can be forgiven but if the IPL knows that someone will have to leave because of international competition then I think they shouldn't be bought for or the money for him should be less. Manchester United are in a really serious condition now. They need to gather themselves up as quick as possible. They made simple mistakes recently and got two draws in a row. Normally, they must have been able to defeat Burnley and Southampton both in those matches. But still they are a solid team and they have just the players to start making things better for themselves. And tonight, there is a nice chance for them to do it. They are hosting Brighton and this isn't going to be an easy match. But I think that the Red Devils will win this.
If in the match with Middlesbrough and Burnley, Manchester United had a problem with the implementation of chances, then with Southampton it was just a difficult game, because Southampton are now in great shape. It is logical to expect Manchester United to win today, but why is the odds for their victory growing, in the morning it was 1.7 and now it is already 1.8? Atletico Madrid are going to play their missing match tomorrow night against Levante. And this is one of the most comfortable matches for them. Levante are literally the worst team in the league now. They have got only one win so far and they are the number one candidate to relegate from the La Liga. Atletico Madrid should be able to win this match without a problem. I know that they are having a troubling season but this is still a must-win match for them.
Atletico Madrid 5th place are up against levante 20th place tomorrow night and without any doubts this should be a comfortable win for Atletico Madrid because they need to win this tie to go ahead of Barcelona who are currently on 4th position. Atletico Madrid used to be the team with the best defense but not this season because they are among the 8 teams who have conceded more goals this season, something must be wrong. If Atletico Madrid is able to win this match they are going to move up the table and leave Barcelona behind. But then Barcelona will have one match in their hands to return the favor. Right now if both teams are on the same points Barcelona is going to be ahead of Atletico Madrid in terms of goal difference. And I also agree that Atletico Madrid should easily win this match because their opponent is not the hardest and also not having a great season so far. |
