I have held my tongue on this issue for a year now, but I am finally at wits end. The liquidators have done a great job rounding up information, setting wheels in motion, and generally trying to clean up the mess. However, they are being stymied by MTGox's refusal to cooperate in any fashion, to the point of refusing to even verify account balances! Why? Reading the liquidators latest report, it seems evident they have provided everything MTGox/Karpeles wants, yet they still get no further towards the goal of returning funds to us, the victims.
Now, I don't want to cast aspersions on anyone, but not cooperating and keeping the Bitcoinica accounts seems like a great way to pocket millions of dollars.
If I am wrong, by all means, I would love to hear from Mr. Karpeles and his reasons for not trying to help those that are out tens of thousands of dollars because of this debacle.

I'll do $975 shipped for all 3 7970's, but provided they really are reference and not knockoffs, they are game stable, and have the reference style heatsink and turbine-style fan. Their pci-e 16x connector needs to have the 109-C38637-00 code on it too.  Also if you do agree, lets hope the shipping doesn't lose the package again  I have to bump to $1,025 for all 3 shipped........ |

Great If these cards were purchased quite a while ago (maybe 8 months or longer, just ballparking it here), they likely have the code. Newer ones are not pures. They got this green pcb with a different code. Non-working VRM temperature sensors, don't clock as high, just all around meh. They work fine at the advertised speed though. The code on the cards is 109-C00037-00 Still interested? That code indicated its a Radeon 5970. Are you sure you're looking at the right card? I am interested in the 3 7970  SHEEEEIIITT. I was totally thinking 5970......my bad! They all have the black PCB's with that code. |
