Yes, I am in the USA
242  Economy / Computer hardware / 6x Cointerra IV - various defects on: October 27, 2014, 08:32:12 PM
I have six Cointerra units with various issues.  Through my trouble shooting, I have verified all ASICs are fine.....they just need either new thermal paste or PSU repairs.

Each one hashes on one board, so 800 GH/s.

The right person can easily bring these back to 100% and get a solid 9.6 TH/s for their effort.

I would like to sell all of these in a package, in order to simplify the process.

Looking for 7 BTC + shipping.  OBO.

Seems like my miners are back connecting......but website is still down

I have a Titan with 4 cubes which are working for a few seconds each at 260 watts but jump back to about 7 watts and don't really mine much. Firmware 1.03 or 1.04 with class 10 SD card doesn't change anything.

Is there any way to get the cubes back mining? Maybe by increasing volt for every die which are currently at -0.0366?

At this point, I think we have firmly established that the Titan is a bonafide piece of shit, that does not work, and has a very good chance of catching on fire.  No amount of work by the customer can change that.

KNC is shipping defective gear, obfuscating the issue whenever possible, deflecting and delaying legitimate complaints, and is in blatant violation of EU law.

I for one cannot wait until their "BFL moment", when the whole thing comes crashing down and these assholes get whats coming.  And it is coming.

Some very good legal professionals are already after them, and the numbers are multiplying.  Pretending they are exempt from the law will only work for these dip-shits for so long.

Anyone have shipping updates with their order #'s?

Mine is 198** and still showing nothing but paid.

Don't you just love dealing with these Douche Nozzles?

are all merged proceeds converted to LTC for payout?

I ordered a Titan on day one...about 8 hours after the press release dropped.  Order number 1990X (X to provide anonymity).  For those who have received their titan orders....what was your order number?

It seems as if KnC built the miners sold to customers promised Q2/Q3 (which actually means Q3) delivery, then delivered within the last few days of Q3 to meet their previous pre-sales promise, but they are dragging their feet!!!  They must be mining Scrypt, something fierce.  Seriously, when is my Titan going to be shipped?

They are in the 196xx range at the moment.

I know this for a fact.
248  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: ANTMINER S4 2TH/s, Batch 1 on Sale this week, shipping before Sept. Ends on: September 24, 2014, 07:17:46 PM
Still a render, no photos.
Also need power draw please Bitmain.

Right from hashnest.com -- > https://www.hashnest.com/uploads/hash_introduction_file/hash_introduction_file/image_file/1/umisoo3.jpg

This looks very close to the rendering and they have built there entire mining farm using these.

Typical... Mine using your own hardware for months, then when the ROI is bad dump the overflow inventory on the consumers.

Fairly certain that those are all S2

What a ridiculous price.

typo

you can use 5V or 12V
but amperage must be at least 12W so 5V 2.5A or 12V 1A

Can one use 12v 2A?  Or just stick with 12v 1A?

essentially, will this work:  http://www.amazon.com/Amamax-Wall-Adapter-Power-Supply/dp/B006GEPUYA/ref=sr_1_6?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1411076631&sr=1-6&keywords=12v+power+supply

As previously stated, the hardware is in the US -- Arizona and New Jersey, to be specific.

Not looking to make money off shipping; interested in simply finding a new home for hardware that is being replaced with newer, more efficient equipment.  We would make money by taking a % of mined BTC on the back-end.  Ideal opportunity for someone who has available & cheap power/space.

I am in NJ.  I will pick up however much you've got.

I'm in NJ and can help you load your truck...

I can fly out and help load your truck.....

OK,

sign me up.

PM me with exactly what hardware is to be given away, address(s) where I can pick it up, and I will arrange for LTL or FTL transportation.  I will personally travel to your data centers with the freight company to gather the equipment.  That way you do not have to hassle with shipping.

assuming 3 tubes can be plugged into one controller......does each tube need a individual IP, or just one for the controller?

I can confirm that 3 tubes work off one controller. You just need to set them all to the correct ID's and chain them correctly and they'll come up.

chain them to eachother?

I am trying to avoid that.

I want to plug three tubes directly into the 3 ports on the controller.

Hi

I would test each hashing board indyvidually (only hashing cable to controller)
one faulty board can give results you have.

Please also use only hashing cable socket closest to ethernet socket.
Other ones does not work.

Maybe controller is faulty. I got same results with bad controller.
Controller PSU if is weak (amperage) can also not detect boards.

Good luck, man!

sonofabitch

you win.

Had to plug it into the port nearest the ethernet.

Shoot me an address.

Ahem... Check my last post...

Shiz, totally missed that.

you are correct sir.....you win.

send an address.
Send it to Sean's outpost please

will get er done tomorrow when I am back in the office.

thanks for the help.

Doesn't look wrong at first glance... Post screenshots of other sections

The other sections show nothing of interest.  "Test Status"  is blank, and "statistics" just show it not hashing.

A blank test status IS of interest...
Controller doesn't see any boards.

suggested steps?
