Upset bet of the day(more or less):

Oklahoma City thunder wins against Spurs. For some reason Oklahoma usually does great against big teams, specially Spurs, and get beaten by small teams.

Other good lines are Miami Heat, Pelicans(will be a funny game see DeMarcu's Cousins play against former team) and Boston Celtics
402  Economy / Speculation / Re: YORK's price prediction topic. on: March 31, 2017, 07:16:37 PM
BTC new floor created

Old floor :  579  EUR ($619)
New floor: 1000 EUR ($1069)

The price broke $1060 few hours ago and you call new support Huh

Also is kind of strange the price just float around the new "floor" just after the new floor has been defined Huh

What is the ceiling now?

" Os polacos expediam por correio as encomendas de pastilhas sintéticas que recebiam através da internet."

Como assim, eles faziam o download das pastilhas, imprimiam e mandavam pelo correio Huh Ficou meio confusa essa parte

E qual a vantagem de vender pela internet algo que se recebe pela internet?

Expecting a very big field this time around for the XIII edition

when do we expect to see the names go up on the leader board

XIII will be the next competition, this one is the XII edition

And the leaderboards are updated when the competition starts, usually a few hours before but bets are accepted only after the competition stars

Looks like weekends are pump time, wonder how big will we be pumped this time Huh

What is the number of bitcoiners around the globe?
Some say less than 1M, maybe 1M, 2M or 3M at most.

What if 10M new people enter the Bitcoin world? Not in a country or in a continent, anything in the world. The price would skyrocket, specially if they decide to invest more than the current average. With the Internet would not be an unrealistic scenario.

Bitcoin without precedent, so there is real usage and people that would benefit from it, so the odds are in favor of valuation, in my opinion

June is long term now?

u think price will be 4000 around june ?

gtfo

Last time I made a prediction here was june 2015,  one bitcoin was $200, I said bitcoin price would be $500 by the end of october, my comment was deleted and I was banned from bitcointalk.
I was right at that time, now I think I will be right again.

It is like the doge ate my homework plus a conspiracy theory about Bitcointalk deleting posts that predict correctly the future
412  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2018 World Cup qualifications, UEFA zone, discussion and information thread on: March 29, 2017, 08:20:01 PM
Sweden shocked the world with a win over Portugal as i never expected them to win the match against a team lead by Cristiano Ronaldo and that too in his home town ,João Cancelo is the villain here as he netted the third and final goal so that Sweden could win . Grin i am really furious that i lost a huge amount of money with this match as i expected Portugal to win the match.

Still this was frendly but schoking defeat in last minutes of match. Sweden did good job in this match no matter if this was frendly.

BTW we have first team that is qualified for WC next year its Brazil, so besides host nation they will be sure participant in the tournament. For this came fact that Uruguay and Argentina lost matches so they need only mathematical one point in next 4 games.
How do we know they will get 1 points in the next 4 games? Cheesy
All kidding aside it was quick, the games are still very early for Euro games does the latin america cup start earlier or is there less teams there? How is it decided so early in the season?

Argentina is in 5th place, so there is no warranty about them being in the top 4, they may have to dispute against the Oceania for a spot in the world cup, also Chile and Uruguay have both 23 points, so things are undecided in South America.

On the other hand, Ecuador has 20 points and Peru 18, so probably there will be no changes about who will be in the top 5, unless Argentina keep losing against teams like Bolivia
413  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What cryptocurrency is solving the scaling problem? on: March 29, 2017, 08:12:04 PM
none

others are OK because their market cap and usage is low, but if they ever grows closer to BTC usage then things won't be better with them regarding escalation and other issues
414  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Transaction not confirming on: March 29, 2017, 07:57:08 PM

options are wait for and unknown amount of time and double spend the transaction with a higher fee, but I don't know how this could be done

Coinroll aparentemente voltou ao normal em relação aos pagamentos, no tópico original não tem mais o asterisco de advertência

Só que eles só aceitam legendary ou gente com trust, então não é pra qualquer um, mas eles pagam mesmo se não postar

Atlanta -1.5 should be the play tonight phillys bigs cant hold down howard expect a big game from him tonight.

are you sure?

Atlanta comes from a narrow win at home against Phoenix and from 7 losses in a row before and the 76ers surprised many teams at home, last one being Boston Celtics

I think they have a decent chance of win today
417  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Game of Thrones - Who will rule? Odds and betting discussion on: March 29, 2017, 07:30:27 PM
what about the no one option?

the white walkers may kick everyone's ass and there would be no one alive to be king, or another power may emerge

also kinda dangerous for the sportbooks offer such line, people with inside info can easily grab some bucks if they already know the end

and if the power is shared Huh
418  Economy / Speculation / Re: Reason for current hike in bitcoin on: March 29, 2017, 07:19:08 PM
Many people want to try bitcoin because it is being used as a good asset to earn some money. The fact that it's price is increasing means that there are still users buying bitcoin because if the price dump that has happened last week. They are taking the advantage of the price while it is still in the three digits, but now I think it is not.

So I think some bitcoin users who converted their bitcoin into ETH are having a good dissapointed face right now. That panic will be really  lesson learned.

only if they don't know how things are working now, that is, Bitcoin rises, ETH falls, Bitcoin falls, ETH rises
.
so if one can predict when the price will fall, exchange Bitcoin for ether will be more profitable than just sell and buy back. Of course if you are right and the price indeed falls
419  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Price Prediction 2017 on: March 29, 2017, 06:52:10 PM
If Hard Fork takes place and/or so does BU, I don't see a chance for Bitcoins to be spiking over till that margin near $2000, because people would then split all their money in both the currencies seeing opportunities of earning through BU also.
You can take ETH split/hard fork as an example for how even after hard fork coin can survive and actually can get pumped hard..

When network will split people will dump all their free coin with less support while keeping coin in healthy chain. After few months of pump and dump, minority coin will die and the one which will have major community support will live forever.

but Ether was a still born at the time of the hard fork, with few usage outside exchange, and no billions of dollars invested in mining hardware and whole business based on Bitcoin

Bitcoin may survive a hard fork, but would be traumatic and some people would lose
420  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: March 29, 2017, 06:40:27 PM
Good morning Bitcoinland.

Still going pretty much sideways with just the slightest upward creep... currently $1045USD (Bitcoinaverage).

We're working on our 5th consecutive green daily candle (Stamp) but it's ever so short.

At least the panicking has subsided for now but it might keep going sideways for a while longer until the altcoin fad runs its course and the money flows back into Bitcoin.

Yeah.. I had been watching the daily candles pretty closely too in order to get a sense of our recovery from the correction to $900, but still pretty early to call today's candle, since there are still 8 more hours before it closes.

At this time, you are correct that the bitstamp candle is hovering around the turning point which is about $1043  and today's candle has to close above $1043 to be green.  In that regard, we had 2 out of the previous 4 candles as nail biters and 2 out of the 4 as clearly and unambigously green.

Even though we seem to be experiencing a decent amount of ongoing buying pressure at these prices, I would not be surprised either way about the direction of the closing of today's candle.

price now is 1021.08 on Bitstamp with no sign of a recovery for today. Looks like today will be the first daily candle clearly negative.

Wonder if this is a trend reversal or means more sideways Huh
