1002  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Bitcoin e-store on: May 06, 2017, 02:22:16 PM
Guys I m building an online store. I want to integrate Bitcoin and other alt coins payments. I myself am not much into coding, i work mostly with wordpress. I m currently looking for devs who can help me with this or can guide me
I believe this will add more value to Bitcoin and crypto as a whole and make it more acceptable as a currency.
Any help is always welcome. Cheesy

There are a few bitcoin payment gateway plugins for wordpress. Gourl is one of the most popular. You can also try Bitpay. You do not have to be a coder, these plugins are easy to install and activate.

As far as other altcoins are concerned, both coinpayments and coinify can be integrated into woocommerce.
1003  Economy / Auctions / Re: btcgal.com domain for sale on: May 06, 2017, 03:11:53 AM
0.005

It has been 48 hours since I PMed Argwai96, he has not been online since since May 3 so this auction continues.

Minimum bid is 0.005

If Argwai96 is still interested in this domain and he comes online before someone else places a valid bid then Argwai96 would be the winner, if someone else places a valid bid then he would be the new winner.

Auction ends 24 hours after a valid bid has been placed.
1004  Local / India / Re: What to do if BitCoin Exchanges are forced to close down on April 20 on: May 05, 2017, 02:28:07 PM
I am reading the whole thread on 5th may 2017 no body said anything about government stand after april 20 discussion in this forum   . Whats the future for bitcoin in india . there is no clarity on that

The inter-ministry committee would give their verdict between the 15th and 20th of this month. The possibility of bitcoin getting a legal status is high, but it would most probably come at a heavy price in the form of taxes. Strict RBI guidelines, FEMA act, strict KYC regulations, in short RBI would eventually take away the decentralization factor from BTC.

1005  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Alternative to xapo? on: May 05, 2017, 10:59:14 AM
I heard a few months ago that coinbase do not have any fees of transaction so in my mind it was a best alternative of xapo but now members here are saying that coinbase will charge some fees so I want another alternative to xapo with which I will pay to some micro workers without any fees.
Please recommend me a secure and trusted wallet if there is any existed.

Since you have mentioned the purpose is payment to micro workers why not try microwallets. FaucetHub is the most secure, but they do charge 1.5% fee, like 0.00015 for 0.01, not much.

Epay is free. You can also try Asmoney.
1006  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: [b]What if, we advertise bitcoin on T.V.?[/b] on: May 05, 2017, 08:13:34 AM
TV can be good media to reach wide range of possible bitcoin users but running tv ads will cost so much and nobody want to pay those money from their pocket.

There will be no any incentive for the one who will pay for those ads. However I think we may see some tv ads in near future from bitcoin related local services in few countries to promote their services.

Absolutely, since bitcoin is open source, no one in particular is going to make any profit  promoting bitcoin through TV ads solely as a currency. The legality of bitcoins is an issue, in most countries bitcoins has not been declared illegal, but still they have not accepted it as a legal currency. Might be due to this even the most die hard bitcoin enthusiast with some spare bitcoins would think twice before going forward with bitcoin as a currency TV commercial idea.

But, promoting bitcoin as means of a payment system through TV ads for services is safe. For example this Bitpay ad, https://youtu.be/Rm7wgmwKiAk

Bitcoin even made a special appearance in Deadpool. So bitcoin is catching up.
1007  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: Overview of Bitcoin Advertising networks on: May 05, 2017, 03:22:57 AM
I think you should also add, https://bitcoset.com to the list. They are also a bidding based bitcoin ad network. Their rates are a bit low, but legit.

Apart from banner and pop up ads you can also earn through URL shortener from Mellowads.
1008  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How Lock Bitcoins For a period of time " Deny self access " on: May 04, 2017, 03:24:46 PM
That's interesting, I do not think a gambler would take such a drastic step Grin Secondly, I myself have thought that if I had not traded bitcoins for small marginal profits and instead holded on to them then I would have made a good decent profit now. I am not aware of any fixed duration bitcoin storing schemes, like banks do, but still if they exist they are a couple of risks involved.

1. You asked them to store your bitcoins for 1 year, but there is no guarantee, site turns scam, coins gone.

2. You asked them to store bitcoins for 1year, price is stable for the first 6 months and then the price starts to collapse, you cannot do anything, you have to wait for 6 months. And in this situation your storing venture would end up in loss.

Why go through all this hassle, just have a bit of self-control Smiley

1010  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: The easiness of creating a scam site on: May 04, 2017, 10:33:11 AM
I'd just like to say a warning for many people new to Bitcoin, this: http://prntscr.com/f2kfd8 is how easy it is to make a scam site, so stay vigilant

The nature of bitcoin is like that, it is one of the most used currencies for scamming purposes. You know how to build a basic website, you can scam, you do not know, you can buy cheap ponzi scripts for scamming. Even basic conning skills is not required to pull off a bitcoin scam. Just a good looking website, a small quantity of bitcoins to lure the ever ignorant, never learning herd of stupid bitcoin users. Even after so many cloud mining, HYIP, investor based games scams, new websites based on these exact working models pop up daily. Thanks to some of the ever ignorant bitcoin users for fueling it. Caveat Emptor.

1013  Local / India / Re: best and worst bitcoin exchanges around india on: May 03, 2017, 09:33:49 AM
For about 3 years now, I have been using Unocoin for buying bitcoins, there have been couple of slight delays in processing in the past, but apart from that their service is reliable and smooth. I usually use Zebpay to sell bitcoins and have also tried Trybitcoin twice during bank holidays and bought BTC through Paytm. All the three are good, but I would choose Uncoin as best since I have been using it for a long time now.

This is really nice to hear . Well Unocoin has the highest % of fees as compared to anybody in India. Zebpay has 0% fees.  Also why do you sell on zebpay and not on Unocoin since you be using it for so many year now?

Yeah there fee is indeed high, like I said since I have been using them for some time I just want to stick with them for buying BTC, the KYC process for some exchanges is really bothersome.

I use two different bank accounts for buying and selling BTC. The selling bank account is linked with Zebpay, do not want to mix things up.
1014  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: What's your favorite Bitcoin affiliate programs? on: May 03, 2017, 06:25:42 AM
From my personal experience, I would suggest reliable bitcoin PTC sites, you can make a decent profit if you have a good amount of referrals on these PTC sites, Btcclicks, Btcvic, Bitter, adbtc, world-of-bitcoin, Clix4btc, ads4btc.

Also you can check this old thread https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1211353.0
That you can prevent bots and vpn users. or tor users..
YUP, yesterday i coded and installed getipintel, however for some reason i gained a huge amounts of requests, which was over the daily limit, which got me autobanned.
I am now looking for alternatives, but its hard to find some. The .htaccess is far from effective, it doesn't work. Any other suggestions? I saw nastyhosts, but i have no idea how to integrate it into my site. Any tips?

There you go, Nastyhosts, place the code on top of header.php or the main faucet page, it will block 95% of proxy IPs

Code:
<?php
$result
file_get_contents("http://v1.nastyhosts.com/".$_SERVER["REMOTE_ADDR"]);
$result json_decode($resulttrue);
if(
$result["suggestion"] == "deny) {
    die("
Banned");
}
?>

1018  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin digital gold or digital cash? on: April 28, 2017, 06:44:28 AM
There is digital gold currency or DGC or e-gold which is somewhat equivalent to digital cash. On the other hand bitcoin ain't digital gold, but digital cash. Compared to bitcoin, digital gold definitely has much more stability. But as digital cash, bitcoin outweighs DGC because apart from being an investment it cannot be used for wider purposes.
1019  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What was the value of 1 Bitcoin when you first mined/purchased? on: April 28, 2017, 03:18:35 AM
I purchased bitcoins for the first time in Sep 22, 2014, 1.52 BTC, 1 @ $394

Should have purchased more, would have easily made a profit of $2000 with a couple of bitcoins now.
