1161  Economy / Auctions / Re: Btcfaucet.io for sale - Bitcoin Faucet on: February 08, 2017, 05:49:39 AM
Skepticism is good. There are a couple of reasons I am planning to sell the faucet.

1. I do not have enough time to manage.

2. With the increasing bitcoin price, the ad networks that pay in fiat is not profitable.

3. I have a deadline on February 23 to pay back a loan. I am not expecting this faucet to be sold and pay the loan, but that would be a bonus.

Like I said the profit is around 0.001 to 0.002, like $1 to $2 per day and then around $10 goes into hosting per month, and I do not have the habit of holding on to bitcoins so sometimes when the faucet is dry (bitcoin ad networks pay instantly), but other ad networks have a threshold and then I  have to convert rupee into BTC (fee included). The profit would be more if I increase the rewards and decrease the timer to 5 minutes.

Like the OP said it would be ridiculous to sell the faucet at this point especially since got approved by major bitcoin ad networks so I will wait till tomorrow, if the offer is good I will sell it or keep on running.

What are the auction terms?

I have decided the BIN yet, the auction will run till February 9. The last bid was 0.05. Currently negotiating with a couple of people so will post the BIN tomorrow or maybe day after tomorrow.
1166  Economy / Auctions / Re: Btcfaucet.io for sale - Bitcoin Faucet on: February 05, 2017, 03:13:01 AM
almost all russian traffic and almost no (0.5%) natural search traffic. i can offer 0.05 btc if you install it on my server

If you had run a faucet you would not have mentioned Russian traffic. Every faucet user or admin knows around 90% of faucet traffic is from Russia. I had run a faucet earlier, but it was a blog and then included faucet, http://bitckerz.net, you could compare the stats between these two. The point is  the domain name says what it is, it is a BTC faucet, zero content, only ads, getting natural traffic from putting some SEO efforts is still not worth it because it is a BTC faucet.
1167  Economy / Auctions / Re: Btcfaucet.io for sale - Bitcoin Faucet on: February 05, 2017, 03:07:49 AM
Alright. If namecheap Domain is included, with all registration that will be 100% changeable etcetera.

I'll start off with 0.01, also Pmed you regarding your script.

Domain, user database, faucet script (ePay, FaucetHub or Xapo option) everything included. Thank you for starting off.

How much profit from all your avertissements?
And how much total do tout pay your users?
Price?

I just changed the rewards three days ago, or was paying 210 satoshis every 60 miniutes, around 0.006 BTC pr day, and with additional pop ads around 0.001 to 0.002 profit per day.
1169  Economy / Auctions / Btcfaucet.io for sale - Bitcoin Faucet on: February 04, 2017, 04:59:16 AM
Hi, I am selling http://btcfaucet.io, it is a bitcoin faucet with a simple design.

Total users: 35953 (about 10 to 15% of these were proxy/bad IP users, so banned some IP's, if unban them then the traffic would increased by 20 to 30%, these are human users using proxy IP's, profitable to website, but unethical in the sense why one user should get all the satoshis)

Registered at Namecheap (I had bought this time domain for $33)
Expiry: August 19, 2017
Premium DNS

Traffic sources:

Since I have been running this faucet for a few months now, it has been added to all major faucet rotators.

https://www.similarweb.com/website/btcfaucet.io

Analytics: August 23, 2016 to today

Revenue sources:

1. Mellowads (pop up)

2. Coinzilla (pop up)

3. Coinmedia

4. A-ads

5. Popads.net (optional)

6. Short.est (optional)

If you are willing to take risk then btcfaucet.io is not adsense banned and you can use adsense on the faucet.

What will you get:

1. Domain

2. Faucet script with users database

3. Faucet list (I also have a faucet list on this domain which is somewhat popular, http://btcfaucet.io/list.php)

I have not yet decided BIN

1170  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: Btcfaucet.io - 355 Satoshis Every Day (ePay) on: February 04, 2017, 04:03:17 AM
I am planning to sell the faucet if I get a good price. Till that happens keep on claiming, added funds. The faucet would be sold only after all users have been paid, be it even 100 satoshis Smiley

Edit: Auction posted here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1777164.0
1171  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: Btcfaucet.io - 355 Satoshis Every Day (ePay) on: February 03, 2017, 08:41:38 AM
Hi

I just checked you faucet site. Design is pretty simple and good , there are only one pop up ad.
Only thing that I don't like is timer , 355 satoshi per day is pretty low .. Maybe you can add some bonus for people who came back every day. That will mean alot.

That is just my opinion.  Wink

I changed the rewards and timer once again Grin, 20 to 60 satoshis every 5 minutes. There are a handful of faucets using this minimal timer method and still making good profit, might be because apart from mellowads and coinzilla they have coinad. This is just an experimentation, hope I would not end up shelling $20 to $30 bucks out of my pocket in a couple of days Tongue
1172  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: Btcfaucet.io - 355 Satoshis Every Day (ePay) on: February 03, 2017, 03:29:54 AM
I have made a drastic change to the timer, first of all I do not have enough time to manage the faucet and with the increasing bitcoin price maintaining a faucet is not profitable anymore.

Increased the rewards to 355 satoshis, increased the timer to maximum 1440 minutes

Increased the referral commission to 10%

Removed all non bitcoin related pop ups

So claim 355 satoshis every 1440 minutes (every day) Smiley
1173  Economy / Services / Re: Is YoBit Sig Campaign Wallet Dry? on: February 02, 2017, 03:40:20 AM
Hi, for the last 3 days I have been trying to transfer my YoBit sig campaign earnings to the wallet, but "send to my BTC balance" is not working.

Their sign campaign thread is locked, but hilariousandco has mentioned.

Quote
Why isn't the send to balance button working?
It's likely because the hot wallet needs topping up. Sometimes this can take a few days to happen so please just be patient.

I have a low balance there so if the wallet is dry that ain't an issue, would withdraw when it gets refilled. I was just wondering if I got kicked out of YoBit campaign Grin. If someone in YoBit signature campaign could confirm this it would be really appreciable Smiley

Are you a participant for a long time now?

That is the usual happenings in the campaign and wallet has to be filled before you can make a transfer to your balance. Even you are kicked out as long as there are funds in your signature campaign earnings, you will get it no matter what unless (own reasons from Yobit itself). 3 days is still not alarming as in the past it tooks week.

If some cases that it passed a week then opened up again another concern. Better locked this thread for the moment.

Since I have not experienced this issue before on YoBit campaign thought I might have been kicked out so yeah going to lock this thread. One week wait is okay.

Simple Bitcoin Faucet Rotator and Faucet List

List: http://btcfaucet.io/list.php

I have tried ... quite simply ... and got 210 satoshi for one hour  Cool ...
Thank you ...
It's long enough to wait  Grin ... an hour later ... and 3000 satoshi minimum cash out  Grin Grin ...

With the increasing bitcoin price and having a shit load of ads on my faucet giving 210 satoshis every 60 minutes is still turning out to be a loss for me Sad, would be maintaining this reward for the next couple of days or would make some changes.

Claim 210 satoshis every 60 minutes Smiley

Yo dude, you just deleted my account because my password was to weak?

I can't reset it.

Bye clix4btc - just lost a user.

Today when I logged in I had the same issue, guess my password was weak, glad the admin changed it, received mail instantly with a new password. All my referrals and balance is intact.

1178  Economy / Lending / Re: [EDU] The Rule of "No Collateral, No Loan" - IGNORE AT YOUR OWN RISK! on: January 27, 2017, 02:41:30 PM
Facebook, Twitter, Steam, Localbitcoins, Paxful, cloud mining accounts, gift cards, collateral cannot get better than this Grin

More than a couple of years ago I had asked a loan as a newbie and got painted in red by vod. I did not had any intention of scamming when I asked the loan at that time, but the point is decentralization brings too much anonymity with it, even it takes some time to build trust with an identifiable object, and just jumping into lending section and asking 1 BTC loan does not scale anywhere on the trust factor. Now I have repaid half a dozen loans on BCT, it took couple of years to build some trust in an anonymous environment, but still worth it Smiley...So newbies if you just have "accounts" as collateral do not bother posting a loan request and be a bait for sig spammers Smiley
1179  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: CetoBeto.com is for sale on: January 27, 2017, 01:03:32 PM
I knew I shouldn't have upgraded my account and pay 0.01 btc.. at least I was able to withdraw most of it and now I have only 100k in my account which of course I won't be able to withdraw..
I don't know if the owner lies or not but I'm done with faucets. I'm sure faucet owners earn a lot, their sites are filled with ads from top to bottom and they pay like $0.000001? no thanks

Lol, then everyone should have been running a faucet, there is only marginal profit and sometimes the admin has to pay out of his own pocket and for a big faucet like ceto beto paying out of pocket sometimes can be too much. I am not vouching for donald, some faucet users had bad experience with his faucet in the past so if he does the same with this faucet then definitely it is unprofessional. First of all he needs to pay the users who have upgraded their accounts and then the free accounts. I would suggest that he lower the rewards and keep on running the faucet, remove additional features, keep the faucet alive, why pay out of your pocket when your faucet have 10000+ users, just lower the rewards, keep the faucet running and pay your users gradually.
1180  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: End of Xapo for poor noobs? on: January 27, 2017, 10:26:45 AM
Today, when I logged into my Xapo account I had a message from them especially for faucet admins/users. They are a popular bitcoin wallet provider and there are not many faucets that use Xapo, but still they do care about these faucets. First of all, from the time they were launched till their new fee policy they had provided fee less service, minimum 5500 satoshis to any bitcoin address without fee, was it possible with Blockchain wallet or Coinbase, no. Now with the increasing bitcoin price they are left with no other choice, but to add fee.

But when they finally decided to add fee they thought why not charge a fee for incoming transactions also Grin, 0.00025013 BTC. The fee limit is also low only 0.00037519, if someone really wants to send you less than 0.00037510 BTC to your Xapo account then he would to pay a fee and then you would also have to pay a fee to receive funds, too cumbersome process. As far as outgoing transaction fee is concerned it is 0.00025013 which is acceptable so now Coinbase is the only wallet that does not charge a fee for outgoing transactions.

And as far as Xapo faucets are concerned this fee policy is not going to affect them in any way, still Xapo to Xapo is free Smiley
