It's not as if he "accidentally forgot" to provide the VAT invoice(s) either - he is actively refusing to provide them. Highly illegal.

Bad dogie.

Give it a rest.
3  Other / Meta / Re: Staff Hypocrisy and Selective Enforcement of Rules on: March 31, 2015, 02:53:22 PM
(Speaking of hypocrisy, Tecshare has left at least three people negative feedback based on feelings alone.

That's nothing, dogie has been doing that since the dawn of time. Not only that, he asks his little band of followers to do the same, which is a clear abuse of the trust system. What's been done about that?

Nothing of course.
4  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [ANN] HashCoins - Cryptocurrency Mining Hardware Manufacturer on: March 28, 2015, 03:40:18 PM
Are you tied into hashcoins somehow?  Your post history just has a lot of focus on them.

I can't be the only one who find it a bit suspicious that 100% of hashcoins supporters/customers are noobs whose entire posting history consists of hashcoins related posts.

Shills gotta shill.

Yeah, this whole thread is chock a block full of lies, shills & dogie poop - & we all know why:

...we send our equipment to dogie.

....bought & paid for with free hardware, he'll defend them no matter how much they scam  Roll Eyes

deleterase ... nice ratings you have though.

Yeah, s0br & his aliases abusing the trust system because I commented in his obvious scam thread...... Roll Eyes

Laughable.
6  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [BitAffNet] How we're the #1 Bitcoin Mining Pool In The World (proof inside) on: March 23, 2015, 12:47:51 PM
I just have not seen on other pools the hash rate fluctuate like it does here and have worried about it for sometime now.

Maybe this is the cause of the fluctuation:

The stolen merchandise is with Bitcoin Affiliate Network in Las Vegas, Nevada. They are aware that the merchandise is stolen yet they ignore communications with us. We are in discussion with the Police.

Total shipment weight: 8, 487.8 lbs / 3, 850 kgs

S0br promised to post an announcement here many weeks ago:

I will publish a statement soon addressing some issues and concerns here. It's just a simple matter of providing more information.

....but still nothing.......why Huh

Following up on this, I have sent the following PM to a forum moderator in the hope that he will clear the matter up:

Hello gmaxwell,

I am writing to you in the hope that you can rectify some inconsistencies in BAN thread header page, in particular, this:

Payment System: PPS + 10% Bonus.

BAN stopped paying a 10% bonus a long time ago, but s0br has refused to change the pool description despite users pointing this falsehood to him on various occasions. I believe this is deliberate false advertising in an attempt to lure new miners to his pool under the impression that they will receive 10% extra payment - which clearly they will not.

I would also like to ask you if anything can be done about this statement from s0br:

We're transparent.

There is absolutely no support for miners on the pool thread whatsoever. Many miners have asked s0br to comment on his own thread about a number of pool issues, but s0br refuses to post anything, despite logging on frequently. I feel that instead of the above statement, a warning should be placed stating clearly that there is no support via the bitcointalk thread.
S0br has made his disdain for bitcointalk & it's moderators very clear previously, yet is quite happy to use bitcointalk as a platform to promote his pool with wholly inaccurate & misleading statements while contributing nothing to his thread & the forum in general. I think this is an injustice on bitcointalk & it's many members.
At the very least, correcting his inaccurate statements would help clean up his pool thread of posts regarding late/low/missing payments.

Thank you.

8  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: BITMAIN announces Antpool on: March 23, 2015, 11:18:21 AM

2 blocks in there with no transactions ...............

Edit:
For those 2 blocks (348622 and 348756) in both cases there was more than 70k of available transactions in default bitcoind (0.9.3)

@ Kano: Can you explain to a noob what this means & how it can happen? Thanks  Wink
In short
That means that Antpool is buggy
How can that happen
1. On purpose
2. Because it is buggy
3. 1 and 2  Smiley

They refuse to relay transactions that is all

So does that mean that there is a possibility that they are keeping Tx fees for themselves?

I fail to understand with multi-sig wallets how a pool operator can be so careless.

Clueless is right. Once is bad enough, but to have it happen again is just plain ridiculous, it makes no sense at all. It wouldn't surprise me if the pool operator had something to do with it - he's certainly got a history of scamming his miners.

YAAY!! King BAN Troll fire000 is back!!   Cheesy Cheesy

I love reading his rantings - they're completely mental, but funny as f*ck. This latest BAN thread was in danger of becoming intelligible - but fire000 jumps in to save the day with some classics again. Thank god.

This will be my last post in here....

Good. Thanks.
13  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: Whatever happened to Bitcoin Affiliate Network? on: November 09, 2014, 01:21:00 PM
The pool reward is pps so blocks are not necessarily paid at a 10% loss based on luck. PPLNS would be that way.

So when the pool is lucky it breaks even. When the pool is unlucky or has even luck it takes a loss. Over time it takes a massive loss. Several PPS pools went bankrupt in the past, even when charging fees.

If they have a trick or they think they have a trick to stay ahead of luck then it works until it falls apart and in the mean time I am happy with these rewards.

It's not illegal or a scam to throw away hundreds of bitcoins and pay miners too much. That's a whole different discusison.

I've only heard of one pool doing something like this before, and they were "investing" the coins in a ponzi scheme.

Asking questions here is not "stupid questions". Noone is a "complete noob idiot" for asking questions in a situation like this.

"A trick", "business structure" or "rewards in the blocks we solve" makes absolutely no sense. It sounds like a scammer talking.

Thank you DrHaribo - your knowledgable input is appreciated.

You sir are the reason why Children should not attempt this industry. If you are not 13 or still in high school, I feel bad for you. You have no understanding of business economics, and even less understanding on how to run a profitable mining pool. Please save yourself farther embarrassment and stop posting uneducated answers.

You need to learn a lot before you post such ridiculous and, i am sorry, but STUPID answers.

what i sense in you is a disgruntled teenager who was hoping to get an S3 but was never chosen as a winner and now is posting all he can in an attempt to tarnish a reputation. Sorry but that is what your post is screaming behind the scenes.
It seems you are unaware that DrHaribo is a respected and experienced mining software writer and pool operator that has been here with the bitcoin community for a long time. I suggest you reconsider what you just said in light of that fact.

Absolutely, well said CK.

@cyberpinoy: Assuming someone who has a relatively new account to be a "stupid noob", as you so eloquently put it, is fool hardy & reckless. I am heavily involved in Bitcoin & the mining scene & have been for some years now - my choosing to open an account at bitcointalk recently does not make me any less experienced, nor does it mean that I can be considered a target for insults from members simply because they have had an account here for a longer period than me, especially when all I have done is stated facts that you obviously don't like to read, for whatever reason.

I don't post very often, only when I feel strongly enough about something to do so, & the antics of BitcoinAffiliateNetwork (BAN) - it's owner, it's admin, it's methods, it's complete lack of transparency, it's lies &  it's many posts of hatred from fake user accounts against any user who questions it's feasibility/honesty is such an occasion.

Mine with them if you want, nobody is stopping you. But don't expect concerned members to stop questioning their behaviour by simply throwing insults at them - on the contrary - it will only make them more determined to get to the truth, much of which has already been exposed in their scam thread.
14  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: Whatever happened to Bitcoin Affiliate Network? on: November 03, 2014, 11:20:41 PM
The payouts were never an issue here I think - just the fake winners. I won't touch them simply because of that, I just don't trust them now.

Its worth noting that there is nothing wrong with those B1 PSUs for computer use......

No it isn't. Who cares if they might work on a PC?

Stop brown nosing up to your boss with pathetic posts trying to make excuses for them.

They're crap.  Roll Eyes

This is Tim Shao from Bitmaintech.

At last! A real Bitmaintech employee who can offer some real support, not a moment too soon either.

I hope he cleans up all the dogie poo left on this thread...... Cheesy

hi, dogie is the right person to help u with the operation guide and technical support.
please understand that sometimes customers may come across problems with your miners due to various combinations. And it did happen before we received the so-called faulty items or even the whole unit and found it was actually running well.
And if you found some hardware problems, like the faulty hashing PCBs, controller boards, etc, you can send an email with your RMA request to this email address: info@bitmaintech.com or contact Bitcoinwarranty directly. We will arrange a return accordingly.
Anyway, we will try to improve our aftersales service.

I would rather deal directly with Bitmain than go through a paid off messenger boy with a bad attitude who's committing tax fraud, thank you.

Can you tell us why you still haven't released the S2 firmware you promised 9 weeks ago to fix the security issues & update cgminer?

Why have you not fixed the latest S3 firmware that actually breaks the S3 & lessens its performance - surely you should take it off your support page?

Will S4 users also have to wait over 9 weeks for a firmware fix & so allow them to use a pool of their choice?

I notice Spondoolies are now issuing compensation payments to their customers for lost mining time & underperforming units - will Bitmain be doing the same?

Thanks.

Latest firmware? - there's only one.....No best share display or Gh/s(5sec) display?

So, they did it then. Glad they got busted. Fair play to the OP who stuck with the case despite the BAN shills abuse - the truth will always prevail. Well done!!!
