361  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What does Gambling really mean to you? on: May 18, 2020, 01:40:04 PM
What are/is the accurate definition of gambling on you based on the definition above?
This is highly subjective. You will never able to find your final concrete conclusion for the definition of gambling. Because, basically all the people are not gambling for same reasons and we cannot find the actual intentions of a gambler why they are into gambling. But, the broad definition of gambling could be source of entertainment and source of income.

Personally I am making use of gambling for both entertainment and income. I am gambling regularly with the intention of getting big profits but mostly I do fail. But I never chase my losses because I am gambling only with my excess money after my life's need. The timing for my gambling is, only on Sundays and occasionally when I am finding myself too bored. If I get chances to make profits then I will gamble with that money for next week otherwise I will add new bankroll from my saving as planned. This way I am making fun and I'm not expecting big profits for living out of my gambling.
362  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling hiding, rules ignored. on: May 18, 2020, 12:14:08 PM
I dont understand these people there are online gambling games already that wont endanger their lives and the community but they still want to gambling in physical casino's. Well it's either they're really addicted to gambling that they can't think straight anymore or they just simply dont know.
Some people are always making their life itself gambling; those people are similar kind. Yes, I mean they want to make fun by breaking government guidelines and regulations. Other than that I could not find any reason why those people are going for gathering for gambling purposes when online gambling is available for everyone easily these days. This must be highly fatal situation and we should not encourage them for doing so.

In the country also people are doing violations for gambling purposes still I never involved any such kind of activities. When we are not being a responsible citizen then we cannot make anything good in our entire life and also if those people are caught by authorities that might be end of their good career. So, these things are not worth their lives in my personal opinion.
363  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin after the year of 2140 on: May 18, 2020, 06:33:42 AM
Bitcoin will have a really good future, if only the government is not going to do anything very stupid. If the government is not going to start looking for ways to take it down then it's going to be really good. I have been seeing a lot of people talking about Central Bank Digital Currencies (CBDC) and I'm not really in support of these, because I don't want the government to create something that will give them a reason to fight against decentralized cryptocurrencies. They might want people to only make use of centralized exchanges and not the ones that are decentralized.

OP is talking about $1M for one bitcoin in 2140 whereas McAffe kind of people are speculating the same level of value for bitcoin within this year or at lest within this decade. So much of differences. When people are having confident about reaching $1M then it will be reached quicker than expected so, $1m may possible at any time soon.
364  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Who owns the bitcoin trademark? on: May 18, 2020, 05:19:57 AM
bitcoin.org is owned by bitcoin developers.
bitcoin.com is owned by person/people who provide bitcoin services.

But who owns the "Bitcoin" brand?
I don't think the way you're seeing it is how it's really meant to be. Bitcoin is an open source and no one really owns it, unless you will Satoshi Nakamoto, since he's the original inventor of Bitcoin, but he's nowhere to be found and I believe he has made up his mind to stay just like that without revealing his identity. I see a lot of people who make use of the Bitcoin logo and they don't even ask for any permission to make use of it.

Some have printed it on t-shirts and they did this without having to ask for permission from anyone. So, it is owned by the community I guess, and it is a free world here. When no one asks for copyrights nor kind of any patents, those things will remain free to use as per my understanding from this wiki article: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Patent.
365  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Beware of lying project team on: May 17, 2020, 09:22:56 PM
Being listed on binance doesn't require all that much honestly. You need to have a constant volume and also need to pay them a certain amount of money, but binance is a business to start with, so if they think they could make money from you, they will list you, why wouldn't they list you if they think they could make money from you.

So, if you have a huge volume you will be listed. What would you need for a big volume? You need to look like you go up but go down as well and be volatile so that people could make money. That is not an easy thing of course because many coins basically get zero volume these days, but the best thing about volume is if you could manage it once, it rarely ever goes away, because people see that volume and come even more and create even more volume.
366  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Some good Dex Exchanges on: May 17, 2020, 08:04:09 PM
The centralized exchanges basically all have that power of volume and marketing because they are making a ton more money and they could use that money to get bigger. Think about it, all the money stays at CZ for binance, he gets all that money and he could just use it however he pleases, so he does marketing like crazy and he even gives away money to others via affiliate income if you invite some people.

It is simple to realize why the centralized ones beat over the decentralized ones years ago, its simple because they have basically billions of dollars for future profits if they continue this way, and they can spend it that way. Facebook literally didn't made the amount of money Binance did on its first 3 years, not saying Binance will be bigger but it certainly had a bigger start.
367  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin exceed 20k this year like in 2017? on: May 17, 2020, 07:26:45 PM
This year would be very difficult, however remember in 2016 we had a halving and right now we had a halving as well, and in 2017 we had the biggest increase and that shows maybe 2021 could be the biggest increase. I have always said that the bitcoin world is a cycle and that cycle always comes around, we had the same thing before as well and we are going to have it once more. Or at least that is what I hope will happen, I can't see the future so I can't say what will happen, all of these are my assumptions and predictions.

All of this missed out minus from mining profits will combine to millions of dollars even hundreds of millions of dollars so I think miners will try to increase the price as much as they can in order to profit like they used to, they can't sustain this level for too long.
368  Economy / Speculation / Re: The excitement is over, what's next? on: May 17, 2020, 06:33:14 PM
By around 2021 we are going to have another hype out of nowhere and that is when people will realize why the excitement could still continue forever. This wasn't one time deal, I am really shocked that bitcoin wasn't even going higher, I was expecting over 20k because bitcoin is a lot more valuable right now. Do you understand how valuable it is that we are not making as much bitcoin per day as we used to?

There will be a moment when bitcoin will be a lot more valuable because people are not making as much bitcoin as they used to from mining yet the price is not really that much. Are they still making a profit? If they have low bills and the cost is low, plus they need a good machine that is newer as well, if all of those really happens I am sure they still profit but they used to make a lot more.
369  Economy / Speculation / Re: Yet another analyst on: May 17, 2020, 06:02:22 PM
However we should not also doubt the power of bitcoin neither, sure there are many times when we all imagined price would go up and it didn't and dropped inside and I agree that we can't really got carried by any hype since hype itself doesn't really make the price go up, if you are hyping something you should also put the money in there as well. One thing for sure is the simple fact that even if bitcoin "could" drop, it also could increase at any time as well.

There are many days when nobody expected bitcoin to do anything but it went up 20%+ without any single sign, and that is the kind of thing it could do even right now. Which means yes be careful and know that it could drop very easily, however there is a chance it could skyrocket as well, so be wary about what you are doing in any direction at all times.
370  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Cashing out tips & strategies on: May 16, 2020, 01:43:06 PM
Sometimes we are lucky and there are also times that we are not. There are times you will invest and instead of prices to go up as you have planned, you can stay for like months and the price will still be declining and you will be confused as to whether you should continue to hold the coins or not.

You're going to be seeing a lot of analysis by some experts that the price would go up, but instead of the increase they have predicted, the price will only be crashing. That's why you're being told at first to always make sure that you're investing an amount that you can afford to risk and not what you can't risk. If you're looking to make money quickly, it might not work for you, although it did work for some people like that. You just need patience.
371  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 2 Bitcoin price questions on: May 16, 2020, 06:03:00 AM
How is it getting embed on websites? If you google "bitcoin" you will see its price. This number must be set by a person, right?
You see the price on Google but do you check the source it's coming from? It's clearly written below by Google – ‘Data provided by Morningstar for Currency and Coinbase for Cryptocurrency'. So, you already know who is providing those data you see on Google.

Although I have not really taken my time check out how the price of Bitcoin is determined, but if you have taken the time to check cryptocurrency exchanges you will notice that there is usually a slight difference between them; the same price you see on Coinbase is not the same you might see on Binance, Luno, and other exchanges. As for what determines the value, it's the rate of demand and supply and the trust we have in it.
372  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Corona virus exploited by some scammers on: May 16, 2020, 05:10:55 AM
I don't donate money to any Charity organization I don't know. Whenever I am donating to a charity, it must be one that I know very much and I'm sure they are legit. If it's to all these ones that are popping out from nowhere and expecting donations from people, nah I don't give to them. Any organization that wants to build itself must start locally and grow to a worldwide level.

You don't just come out from nowhere and claim to be a charity organization and expect people to donate to you, no it doesn't work that way. And most of the donations I make are to the charities in my locality and to orphanages. Sometimes I go directly to them to make my donations.
373  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: May 15, 2020, 06:19:17 PM
Testing the whole team and any team they played in the past weeks is a thing they have to do if one player turns out infected. But at the same time, I feel like there is not that many people who are infected anymore so there is testing going on which means maybe there are test kits available enough now that you could just use all the extra ones on the players constantly? That way you would basically be testing players constantly, which means if you learn that one player has corona, you would know if anyone else has corona at the same time as well?

Like you test 20 players all together, so if one of them has corona, the other 19 results will be decided already as well? So, I think that wouldn't really be a problem, you would constantly know if anyone has corona or not all at the same time.

Be very careful, Eth hot wallet is dry, users are not receiving their withdrawals.

Staff keeps saying will be fixed, going on 8 hours of broken withdrawals and eth deposits. It's pretty obvious one person runs the show and waiting for them to login, will report back when withdrawals are working, but this is mind blowing how they don't have staff around the clock for these issues.

How can you be a credible book, when you can't even have someone around the clock on for these issues?

We had a small issue.

ETH transactions are up and running Smiley

Sorry for the inconvenience peeps.

Have a lovely day!

Why are you lying to people? Still haven’t got my withdrawal! Small issues? Not receiving your money is small issues
I have been playing at stake or have been around stake for whenever they started, I have been at the early days of primedice, I literally remember when primedice didn't existed, I have been around for that long. And I haven't seen a single time this team didn't paid anyone who actually played legitly.

Either there could be an issue or there could be some rule breaking and so forth because I have seen plenty of times back in the day when people decided to double spend method and failed because stake basically do not give you the money that you won illegally, they are quite good at that and many people complained and the real truth comes out. So, either your issue will be fixed as well if you really think you did nothing wrong don't worry about it, or its just another scammer.
375  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🐺WOLF.BET - Provably fair Dice & HILO game 🎲↕️ 30% Rakeback💰$500 Daily Race🔥 on: May 14, 2020, 04:43:33 PM
There will be big wins that will set the house back eventually, just because there is a house edge to protect the house doesn't mean that house always makes money. Let's say house averages 1 bitcoin per day earning, sure it varies and sometimes its 0.8 and sometimes its 1.2 but let's say on average it is 1 for most days, and sometimes for once a month there is some guy who comes up and earns 5 bitcoin that session, that sets the house back anyway, even though they will recover thanks to house edge, those earnings and losses doesn't usually happen back to back. So, houses sometimes earns a lot more than the house edge, and sometimes loses more and they usually happen different time periods as well, so a casino has to cover the losses for long enough to eventually reach to wins as well.
I wasn't trying to say that its consistent, like no place makes same amount of profit every single day, there is variance obviously, but that doesn't change the fact that no matter how much whales get lucky, even if you set a casino back for YEARS, eventually house will profit for the long term. Even the biggest casinos have been doing not so well because they have a lot of costs as well and they need to have a lot of wagering going on and sometimes they still lose money because whales get lucky.

Casinos can be like trading, they could lose money time to time and win time to time, what matters is put a day in and after set period of days check if you have more, doesn't matter if you lost between those days, as long as you win more to make a profit that still works.

I'm their lawyer so you shouldn't expect different behavior from me. It's my duty to protect sportsbet.
I wantes to be first in the list but... It's now quarantine so I needed extra work and I'l new employee, maybe that's why I am last in list.

Edit: Joke of course.
It is interesting to see how people really think they are actually capable of having so much power when they do not. Sportsbet literally puts their name on the Watford jersey, a team that is playing on the most watched football league all over the world, literally premier league, probably every game there is at least a million people watching all over the world, and on most games a lot more. Paid 6 million dollars for that sponsorship as well. Have been running for YEARS now, thousands of dollars given away, done a ton of charities as well.

Some newbie account comes here and says that "sportsbet is scam, anyone who defends them will be on this list and I will make a reputation topic about it as well!!". You know why? Cause you can't sue anyone when there is nothing wrong going on, so you think a bitcointalk topic is a big power move that you can do, which NOBODY would care about. Why don't you help us and tell us in detail what you think is wrong and we can work together to help you out and that way you will be happy and that is much better isn't it?
377  Economy / Gambling / Re: MintDice – Bitcoin Casino With Online Slots, Bitcoin Crash & Bitcoin Investment on: May 12, 2020, 03:48:22 PM
Ah, fair point. To that, I can just say that a lot of the cool and interesting things to say will mostly start happening around the time we are able to release all the new features. I'll make some more posts to that point when things are on the close horizon.
Yeah, no doubt you guys will be great for sure, hence why I said you should come here more often to chat, because you know how gamblers think and you basically just get excited about the features like we do, and that is basically the thing that makes mintdice unique. I have one more sportsbook that I will not name that is like this, they are basically in love with sports like crazy, so it shows on the promotions and so forth as well, they get hyped with the gamblers together, so do you.

So, I do not even doubt that v2 will be cool, hell v1 is cool already enough. Probably needs a bit design change but that is about it, anything above that is extra scoop on top of it. Me wanting to chat with you has nothing to do with mintdice though, you are just a cool person to talk with.
378  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Take profit on: May 12, 2020, 03:12:13 PM
There are a lot of things that you can do if you're not sure about these ones. If you're going for masternode, which coin exactly are you going for? There is a fixed ROI you can make from any masternode you go for.

Just like DASH which was the first that started this, the return you can make on your investment is 6.45%, then there are other coins that can give you more, like the PIVX coin, which gives a ROI of up to 12%. Then as for staking, it's not something you just jump straight into, you've got to learn about the coin you're interested in and how the staking works before you go for it. If not like that, then it's best to stay off. And I think masternodes yield more profit than staking. Other means you can consider are interest bearing accounts like BlockFI and Celsius Network, and holding Dividend-paying tokens.
379  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How much have you earned in one year on: May 12, 2020, 01:30:09 PM
I imagined how most bounty participants and trader who are below the senior rank most especially those who do not know how to choose good/high rewarding projects if they would would have even made up to $1k in the past 1 year. How would they feel if they have nothing meaningful to withdraw at this pandemic period and just looking at their wallet helplessly. How much have you been able to cash out in the past one year.
First, why would anyone be depending on just the earnings they are making on bounties? Unless you're already making lots of money from it and you're sure that it's going to be enough, but if it's just a small amount, then I don't see why you should be relying on it unless you want to end up regretting.

This shouldn't be considered a main job, you should have another job you're into and this bounty campaign can serve as your side income so that you can be making enough money to take care of yourself and your family. And moreover, whether the money we have made is enough or not is not a question we should be asking now, because if yours is enough, there are still people that do not have anything at all.
380  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Be a professional gambler on your own way. on: May 12, 2020, 10:15:59 AM
There are some gamblers who believe in superstition. Every time you watch or read something about gambling, the hero of the story goes on a winning streak as soon they bet on their lucky number, or keep a lucky clover close to their heart. If you think these things work, don't gamble. As you can read on this article that explains how to win at Blackjack every time you play, superstition has nothing to do with your success rate at the table.
Depends. I have my own experience where superstition helped me to get me profits. Blackjack and sportsbetting are know for its skilled way of gambling hence superstition definitely has nothing to do there. But, on all gambling types where your luck factor playing the role of deciding and finalizing everything then you may go for superstition. Superstition is know for maximizing your luck but like luck factor, the outcome of following superstition cannot be controlled. It means superstition may work or may not; exactly similar to luck factor.

All the above, by simply following superstition no one could reach the heights of professionalism in gambling. If you notice, professional gambler are existing only on skill based gambling.
