801  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake.com | Crypto Powered Sportsbook and Casino | 🏀 ⚾ 🏈 🎾 🥊 on: January 19, 2020, 07:10:00 PM
Stake is offering the best odds on the McGregor fight this Sunday, we've cut our margin on this to 0% so if you're looking to take a punt on it we are offering the smartest way to do so.

https://stake.com/sports/mma/ufc/ufc-246-las-vegas/4360725-mcgregor-conor-vs-cerrone-donald

Even I bet on it Cheesy

I lost but it was fun 30sec Smiley
I honestly wasn't expecting that fight to be so quick. Of course, McGregor is not a bad fighter and he was favorites to win this fight however I wasn't expecting him to be as good as how he used to be. Both because he got older, of course he can't be as good as himself 5 years ago, however he did looked like he didn't aged much, plus he wasn't fighting for the past 15 months so I was expecting some rust.

These type of good hitters usually look great on quick games tho, like if they can get their hits in, they are very good, whenever time goes longer and opponent stays around for one round or two, they start to get tired and start to have bad punches and get beaten. That is how Khabib beat him, took the punches and tired him out. Lets see if McGregor and Khabib will be fought again or not.
802  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Will Reach $400,000 After Halving, History Dictates on: January 19, 2020, 06:50:56 PM
the question is when is this halving?because i am sure this is not 2020 lol, exaggerating value that 400k$ ,so if thats the case so McAffee is almost right? about His 1 million prediction?

lol yeah it is indeed that we can have this after halving but not this year, maybe the next or another?no one really knows.
I don’t know how people making all these dumb speculations. But, do you believe that Bitcoin will reach $1 million this year? He must be joking about that, because it’s never going to happen. It’s some foolish influencers that are fond of telling their followers that Bitcoin will reach up to $1 million, and by doing so they deceive some noobs into thinking that price will go that high. They will all rush in with such high expectations and at the end they will be disappointed. So, people should stop all these high speculations, even if Bitcoin is going to reach that price it is probably going to take a very long time.
803  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is the altcoin market being manipulated in 2020? on: January 17, 2020, 05:36:48 PM
Do you think the situation has changed in the year 2020?  Huh
Is it safe to trade ERC-20 tokens and is it possible to earn something else?
That’s how the case has always been for alternate cryptocurrencies, they are mainly a disappointment. The only cryptocurrencies that don’t disappoint are Bitcoin and all the top altcoins. There are lots of new projects that are being released every time and most of them at then end they fail. This is what is causing a lot of people to be giving up on all these new tokens.

Manipulations have always been and will be and this is not only in the crypto sphere. I really hope that erc-20 will move off the ground in 2020 but I prefer to trade bitcoin and ether.
I don’t think there is going to be an end of manipulation in the market, as long as it’s a volatile token or coin, it will always be manipulated. Cryptocurrencies are mostly decentralized, there is no Central control unit, so people can do whatever they want to do.
804  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Let's talk about backed (and not) Stablecoins - GOLD token 100% backed by gold. on: January 17, 2020, 03:02:43 PM
You can't really "redeem" gold can you, I mean you can redeem "gold" on paper but when it comes to actual gold that you can hold in your hand, that would take a lot of time and effort and cost to actually redeem.

So the idea is amazing, hopefully it will take off and the company behind it is not as shady as Tether, however you have to understand why people are not entirely certain about how it can be backed by gold when its something physically possessed but digitally attributed to your name instead. Don't get me wrong, I really think the idea is a very valid idea, I wish all stablecoins would be backed by commodities instead of fiat because fiat always loses its value whereas commodities keep on gaining value over the years, yet that doesn't change the fact that people could still have doubts for a project like this.
805  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin still bigger in 2019 from all other Commodities on: January 16, 2020, 05:14:46 PM
The superiority of Bitcoin's profitability over all other precious metals and commodities can be explained by the fact that the cryptocurrency market is still very young and has a relatively small capitalization. As a result, the volatility of Bitcoin is strongly influenced by news, as well as both positive and negative actions of regulators in different countries.
in its age bitcoin is still said to be the investment that has the youngest age compared to other metals and minerals. but with this young age bitcoin provides potential and price movements that are quite good compared to other investments. Even though the risk is high, investors who choose to invest in bitcoin are also quite a lot, and certainly every year will provide an increase in the number of investors.
The number of investors is always in the ascending manner if we compare from the year 2010 and that is actually what is driving the price of bitcoins higher and higher. We all know the price of each cryptocurrency, including bitcoin depends on the demand and supply factor.

Supply is constant but demand keeps on rising which drives the price for bitcoins on the all time high peak each time. Investors would never lose their faith in bitcoins no matter how hard dump it takes, investors would utilize that dump to buy again and it would again drive the price upwards keeping bitcoins again on the top list as stated by OP.
806  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Ideas Needed for Easy and Passive Monthly Income * REWARD * on: January 16, 2020, 03:51:24 PM
Why not try creating your own listing? You can earn easy and fast income just by inviting a group of friends to join your community.
Users can vote for their favorite blockchain projects(which could be yours) and help get your community listed and earn together.

In fact, there is already a community listing now till 17 Jan.

You can check this link to learn more: https://www.digifinex.com/en-ww/listing/apply
How would these kind of listings help us in earning a revenue? I do not really think that earning profits from such listing platforms might be an quick and effective way to earn a passive source of income. You might perhaps be promoting such platform and might be suggesting OP to use such kind of platforms because you are among the owner of a listing agency.

How much profits have you tried to cover by today's date? Also do you earn revenues from advertisements on your platform alone or you get payed from the projects you list on your platform? Because, I think there already are a number of such platforms and projects might not really be paying such platforms to get themselves listed over there.
807  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Opinion on "bitcoin, XRP and crypto in general are scams" on: January 16, 2020, 03:14:23 PM
Bitcoin, XRP and Crypto?

Do you mean Bitcoin and Shitcoins?

It is a common thought when something is profitable, we call it legit and once it made us desperate, we call it scam.
Even I did not take the efforts to finish reading entire OP only because of what the subject stated. Bitcoins, XRP and cryptos in general are scam? What would actually that mean? Is OP trying to compare Bitcoins, XRP, to all other ponzi coins launched in the markets? Or is OP considering entire crypos as scam? That might be because he/she might not have made any profits out of the cryptos only because of lack of knowledge and it might be something which might scare OP from investing into such coins and hence he/she might directly consider them as scam.

This might be the case with most of the investors who really can't afford to spend their time in gaining immense knowledge about the crypto investments and it might make their faith lack in those coins.
808  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: January 15, 2020, 04:51:28 PM
It was insanely easy games last night, both Inter and Lazo destroyed their opponents, Lazo specifically played a team sooo much under their talents, Inter played cagliari which is not as horrible as cremonese but it was still way below Inters levels. 9 goals total as well.

I feel like this year will be Inter versus Juventus year, don't know where they will face but if anyone has even a small understanding of marketing they would put them in the finals (don't know the bracket really) and that way you can generate a lot of views and a lot of money for the final, not like all finals are watched that much. I still think Juventus will win, I know demiral is injured but dude wasn't even in their plan at the start of the season, they had de ligt as their real defender and demiral just took the jersey, they will probably just go back to how things were and that's it.
809  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: January 15, 2020, 04:07:25 PM
Yeah, what Jazz is doing has absolutely nothing to do with Clarkson in the sense that he is not a player that can turn a team from a losing team to a winning team, he is not talented enough for such a change, however at the same time if you bring in a player who is just enough good for a role he could change so much dynamics in a team that they can become a winning team, not because of him but thanks to him kind of situation.

He even has worse shooting in three and free throws so far which means he just hit the "needed" spot and that's about it considering he is not really that great help stat wise. I feel like Ingles is a bigger impact, dude has been on a role and with Conley playing he wasn't getting the ball that frequently but dude is a great PNR player with Gobbert so I would say that probably helped even more.

811  Economy / Economics / Re: Europe is against Libra. Who else? on: December 18, 2019, 05:32:52 PM
My question is - will launching Libra change the statement 'cryptocurrency is not money' in better way or it'll make worse?
Well, that for sure would always be their reaction. When Libra was first announced, Wall Street and Banker's comments were all filled with skepticism. Since Libra is an unregulated cryptocurrency, the government has been against the idea.

If the project is successful, I know for sure that it would be one of the most competitive cryptocurrencies there is, and it might be up to the level of competing with Bitcoin for the number one position. Facebook is already a big platform and they will be able to push the coin. And adding that they partnered with a major players in the payment space, like PayPal, it will help cause the coin to be adopted quickly.
812  Economy / Economics / Re: How many bitcoin is enough? on: December 18, 2019, 02:51:31 PM
If you're buying Bitcoin just take it that it is a money you're not going to get back and if you're lucky and the price should increase, then that's dope. It all depends on your goal, but the problem is that goals changes; you achieve your first goal and then another goal comes up.

So, you should just be buying and putting in an amount that you wouldn't worry about if the price should crash. You're no longer a newbie, so maybe you should start with 1 BTC (0.01 for a newbie) and you can Hodl it till the price increases. Next year, after the halving we can't really tell where the price will be heading to, but I believe there is a higher chance for the price to go up next year.
813  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Whales keep getting richer and richer while everybody else is losing... on: December 15, 2019, 07:57:59 AM
Don't react to the sudden price changes will be the best possible solution to save ourselves from the whales manipulation.Whales are also taking risk but they got what they wanted from the traders by immediate reaction on buying or selling.
If you read what the OP said, you'll understand that this was not about reacting to the new sudden change in price of the crypto market but getting people informed about the right procedure in other not to be the whales prey.
With that been said, the current change won't save us from the whales for knowledge and simultaneous research is what we need.
This is why holders are the smartest people when it comes to bitcoins because if I have 1 bitcoin there is no possible way any shark or whale can take away from me that no matter what. But, yes for traders the big sharks can always manipulate the market create a particular panic either for sell or buy and make small traders fell into it.

The market is still very much controlled by some big people and as long as they hold more than 5-10% of circulating coins, they can easily make big waves into market and sustain that for quite sometime. More people getting in crypto means more liquidity and hence a better market.
814  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin go to $8000 soon look this fractal on: December 11, 2019, 07:03:37 PM
Uncertain about this specially we are yet to start the last month of the year. Because usually price starts to change at the end or in the middle of December. I am not saying it is not possible but the thing is, it become norm to the point that it happens every year. Though still hoping for market's fast recovery. Pushing upwards ain't that tough since halving is near to come.
I was anticipating the same as you, the price increase by the start of December and then some steep hike until January after which it gradually goes down to an average higher value.

Talking about the fractal I believe while its indicative that the price should recover quickly but I think it's not necessary that it will be touching the heights as expected by the fractal. I am quite sure by the end of this month we will see a good price on the market, but since everyone is anticipating this hence it might not go as high as it usually does. Just my own speculation.
815  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin halving 2020 prediction on: December 11, 2019, 05:14:45 PM
any prediction is not a problem. but this is the crypto world. anything can happen. I personally still believe bitcoin will have a value of more than $ 10,000 after halving occurs. yeah, they think like that. because for the past 10 years bitcoin has no important function other than just for trading and transactions. so the more difficult bitcoin is mined, it can make the miners not continue. This is in my opinion about the statement you wrote.
I get what your concern is, but the more difficulty in mining BTC means the higher price of bitcoins and hence the miners will be compensated in either ways, if miners were earning 25 BTC per block and reduced to 12.5 you can see still there's no problem about miners because the price increased and sorted the issue.

That's the actual reason why bitcoin price rise when halving occurs because the miners reward is decreased to half ( as suggest by the word halving) and hence the price tends to go up.
816  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Martingale and Roulette on: December 11, 2019, 03:11:11 PM
If you open dice site, roulette, or any other lucky based game, and for example you bet just on odd numbers its some kind of strategy. You can bet two times on red, one on black, two times over 51 one time under 49, there are many strategies in luck based games. Luck based games are just patterns, to win you need to use right pattern in the right time, everything can be worked out to be strategy, and my experience tells me that you need to be flexible and to change the way you play as much as you can, that gives us more chance to win.
You know, roulette usually have the worst edge because dice offers 1% edge but in case of roulette its much higher. You have numbers from 0 to 36 and they are mixed as red and black mostly. But, the number 0 is the house edge, you cannot bet on it in most roulette games and the edge becomes around 3% because of that.

I tell you something here, the roulette games that are not provably fair are sometimes rigged, I remember playing somewhere where the green number 0 would come almost every 15 rolls while it is supposed to arrive much lesser. So, martingale on roulette is not the smartest strategy.
817  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 100% FREE 100% guaranteed gambling strategy 100% no-loss ever on: December 11, 2019, 02:29:40 PM
At first I felt very cheated when I opened the thread and saw what was written but actually you made a long discussed-point into a small line, don't gamble if you do not want to loose. It's true that we cannot win with gambling but if I was expecting some arbitrage advice or some similar strategy where we can find different bookmakers favoring different teams/players or say over/under in goals and we can advantage of that.

Another thought I had was that there might be some advice like betting on the underdog and cashing out or placing some wager of the favorite once the underdog performs well. But nonetheless, I agree with your point.
818  Economy / Gambling / Re: MintDice – Bitcoin Casino With Online Slots, Bitcoin Crash & Bitcoin Investment on: December 10, 2019, 07:25:22 PM
I think having a community manager is one of the big costs of many casinos and mintdice never required it because theskillzdatklls (lol) never let us be and he helped us out all the time, we don't really know what costs they have in staff, we know there must be some costs technologically of course but we don't know who is in the team and how much people are paid and what other casinos pay to compare neither however at the same time we all know that they have been doing marketing properly so far, they have been doing proper games as well, they have been doing whatever they have done properly which shows how legit they are.

There is no way we can't trust and like mintdice because they have done more for their community than any other casino I have ever seen.
819  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Dump - The Worst Thing on: December 10, 2019, 05:48:45 PM
It's really out of our hands since Bitcoin is the market leader it's inevitable for it to influence other coins in the market and it can trigger selling in this crypto as well which makes all coins result into losing all of their value. And why do you think a dump is a bad thing? In the trading world there is no such thing as a "bad thing" as traders can take advantage of all scenarios whether it is going up or the prices are going down, the most important thing about this is you need to position your money right for it to be in your favor. When prices are going down it's better that you have offloaded your position before hand and buy them later when it has bottomed out. When prices are going up it is better that you have already positions at the bottom so that all you need to do is to trigger a sell order for your crypto.
Completely with you on this, actually dumps are good in one way at least that it gives opportunity for those who want to buy bitcoins but want it to drop a bit before they make a buy order. For example if I want to buy a certain coin, I personally follow it for weeks (in case of alt coins) and once the price falls down by some value, I then execute my order.

And to be honest, someone who gets worried by a dump does not deserve to have the benefits when the price goes crazy and everyone wonders why they haven't bought some when it was cheap. I mean you got to have faith in something for them to pay you back!
820  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Daily Living on: December 10, 2019, 07:09:22 AM
There are lots of things you can do with cryptocurrency, most of them are not direct. I make use of cryptocurrency sometimes, and it's mainly for receiving money. Bitpay has made it easy for us to be able to spend our bitcoins nowadays, the VISA debit card allows users to be able to withdraw their bitcoin as cash from any ATM that has the VISA logo.

Apart from the debit card, the gift cards are another great feature of the Bitpay wallet, as users don't need to leave the site, they can easily convert the Bitcoin to gift cards and buy whatever they need, whether from Amazon, booking on Delta and a lot more.
