521  Economy / Speculation / Re: How do miners affect the price of Bitcoin? on: April 03, 2020, 08:58:07 PM
When they say that Bitcoin cannot be controlled, I don't think they are referring to the price of bitcoin, it's Bitcoin itself; what I'm trying to say is that no one can shut down Bitcoin or give any orders on how things should be done, but as for the price, there are lots of factors that will always affect the price of Bitcoin. But, we all believe that demand and supply is the main thing when it comes to what plays the main role on the price of Bitcoin.

Just like you have mentioned the news as one of the things that controls the price of Bitcoin - bad news can affect the price of Bitcoin creating panic which will then make investors to sell their coins and cause a decrease in the demand of Bitcoin. So when you break down everything, it's all still demand and supply.
522  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: We are having the difficult time, are you still a Bitcoin HODL? on: April 03, 2020, 07:56:47 PM
Yes, everything is getting hard, but selling my bitcoins is not something I have in mind haha Grin. I have been holding my coins for quite a long time now; I bought some coins in 2018 after the price dropped and I also bought coins around April 2019; I have been holding these coins without plans to sell them yet, though I initially planned that I'm going to be selling them if the price of bitcoin should go up due to the halving that was said to take place on May.

As of now I don't really know what I'm going to do next, think I'm just going to leave them there till the right time to sell them. Even fiat has been turning to a disappointment as of recent, and bitcoin seems to be a way out I think.
523  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to improve the usability of bitcoin? on: April 03, 2020, 03:26:22 PM
Where you talked about making it easy for people to use Bitcoin and with low risk, what exactly are you referring to?
Do you mean the volatility of Bitcoin or were you trying to say that the basic use of Bitcoin is a difficult thing? As for the Bitcoin having a volatile nature, there is nothing you can do about that as for now, but I have seen people say that when more investors join the community and as the community keeps going it will become stable.

I am going to wait till then, if possible, to confirm if what they are saying is the truth. And as for making use of Bitcoin, I don't see any difficulties there. There are lots of instructions online for anyone that wants to learn about bitcoin. The problem with some people is they don't do research and ask questions, it's not good.
524  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to protect bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies from hackers. on: April 03, 2020, 10:52:26 AM
There are ways you can stay safe from all these hackers. Securing your cryptocurrency wallet is a task that's left for you, you have to do the right thing when securing your wallet. As for the best wallets, paper wallets are the most secure, but I don't think there is any wallet that should be considered as the best because they all have one way or the other that they are not so good at. Your paper wallet if you're not careful you can end up storing it in the wrong place and water might touch it, or rats and roaches? Lol.

You can have three wallets; hardware, paper and cloud wallets. Cloud wallets will be for a regular use while paper wallets will be the main storage and hardware wallets can be used to store some too, and make sure that your private keys are store different from your wallet. And when you want to generate your paper wallet, make sure to scan your computer for any malware.
525  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Binance after Coinmarketcap on: April 03, 2020, 09:10:36 AM
I agree that binance is a huge team and they will definitely make a lot of things better, that is true. However, what you guys are forgetting that cmc does affect binance as well. So, let's say one day volume of binance starts to fall, do you really think they will show that? I mean we are basically talking about calculating how much binance is making right now if they tell you the truth, it is way too much data to breach if they get other places information as well.

All the above, binance will make it better but they will also not make it truthful, it will look better and feel better and be better but in reality it will be fake, which is why if cmc is purchased by binance I will stop using it, there are better alternatives anyway so I will simply move to them instead.
526  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The current world market situation. on: April 02, 2020, 07:44:01 PM
Things are going to change soon. One thing I love about Bitcoin is that after all these things are over the coin will still increase in price.

I was really hoping for some good increase this year because of the halving that was going to take place in May of this 2020 and this pandemic has affected everything and caused markets to experience some heavy falls. But what I know for sure is that after all these things are over, Bitcoin is going to be going on a bull run for sure and the increase will likely be a huge one.
527  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Covid-19 Question on: April 02, 2020, 03:17:28 PM
Coronavirus keeps getting outta hands in countries like Italy and France and others, things keep getting worse with the disease every day but I surprised me is the affectionate to crypto, it seems to stop affecting crypto already what do you think?
It’s not only Bitcoin , there are other assets and stocks that seems not to be affected by the Covid-19 situation any longer. Most of them has been recovering. I noticed that gold has increased and the current is somewhere around 52,000 dollars. And silver has also been going up a bit after falling from over 580 dollars to 380 dollars; the current price of silver is $462.

So, some stocks and assets has been recovering from the fall and Bitcoin has gone from the low price to over $6600 dollars. I hope that it keeps going up like this , just wish there is going to be a huge increase after May.
528  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🚀 Sportsbet.io - Main Club Partner of Watford FC ⚽ Fun. 🏀 Fast. 🎾 Fair. 🏆 on: March 31, 2020, 04:21:39 PM
Shocked to not see buwaytrees in the last table, don't even know if he joined the poker game or not but he looks like he is one of the people who is constantly around and was straight up expecting him to win it all, or at least be in the last table, maybe he wasn't available at that time and didn't join I don't know.

Congratz to streamtyme, it is not easy to beat all that many people and be at the end in a poker tourney, I have joined a quite good amount myself and I can tell you that it is quite difficult to beat one person let alone beat so many person to be standing at the finish line. Steve it would be wise to make it a consistent poker tourney, after all it looks like everyone will be stuck at home and sports look like they are not coming back soon, so anything to keep people around would probably benefit in the long run.
529  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bounty hunters and Investors, Who values Cryptocurrencies More? on: March 30, 2020, 03:12:23 PM
Investors do not decide on which currency will be liked more than the others, bounty hunters are the real ones that decide on that because when a project has no bounty hunters or nobody that really does anything you will not really see that project or hear about it.

It means there could be some bad projects that gets millions of dollars worth of investment all because bounty hunters worked for them and promote it everywhere, whereas some amazing project may not get funded fully because they actually couldn't get any promoters and didn't get heard by enough people, which means investors do not invest into stuff that are good or bad, they invest into stuff that is hyped, which means bounty hunters are the real people who gives projects that value.
530  Economy / Gambling / Re: ♨️🎲 WINDICE.io 🎲 Wagering Contests 🔰 Progressive Faucet💰 Jackpots 🎁❤ on: March 29, 2020, 07:44:48 PM
What happened to big promotion contests of the past? You used to do 0.2 bitcoin contests almost every week and there was a point where it peaked literally at 30+ and after that you guys just stopped it. I assume it wasn't as profitable as you imagined? Like maybe those people who wagered over 100 bitcoin total for a competition maybe didn't give you over a bitcoin in profits but gave you losses because some of them actually ended up winning?

I can't think of any other reason why you would stop it, there was so many people gambling so much more than what you are offering that "on average" you should have been making over 5 grand per competition according to house edge, maybe would be a loss once or twice but the average looked like you would profit a lot. Why did those stopped?

When on WinDice click the CONTEST button here:

There's almost always a contest running on the site. Yes, the prize pool is lower since recently, so maybe you are right, it wasn't profitable, idk. But they are running chat trivia, apart from other things, and they have thousands unique players during a given week, which is not bad, imo.
Yeah I know where the contest button is, that has nothing to do with what I was talking about at all. I simply said "you guys used to had 0.2 btc, why is it 0.03 now" and that's it, knowing where the contest button is basically doesn't even remotely answer my question. About the other part, they used to do it weekly as well but just wasn't specific intervals, for example first few contests were all starting on Tuesday/Wednesday and they kept it up.

I think this last 30+ bitcoin one actually ended up rodolman at profit, so he both made quite few bitcoin profit AND got the free money as well on top of it. That is probably the only thing I can think of right now that caused them to stop giving away that much, otherwise the more people wager the better it should have been for them.
531  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Would you market a project if it paid you this much ? on: March 29, 2020, 06:34:09 PM
you have to read the entire conversation from previous comments to understand, but without a fee it would be very easy to abuse this system.
Doesn't matter what you are providing with or not. If people are forced to pay up beforehand and use it after they paid, that is not going to get too much affiliates, maybe close to zero, at least the affects of it would be close to zero. No true affiliate would pay up beforehand because they know that what they are bringing to table worths money, there are literally places that pays upfront for some good affiliate marketers.

So, how are you planning on getting affiliate marketers who are so good that they are getting money offers to work for them before they even invite anyway, when you are telling them that they need to pay beforehand, that will never work. I have worked as an affiliate networker for years now and I have never paid a single cent to anyone, only got paid. That is how it works, no matter what the system is.
532  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: March 29, 2020, 06:04:18 PM
Doris Burke is the new name that got Corona, I am not entirely sure if she got it from anyone NBA related or not but this is the trouble with the virus, you could get it at anywhere at anytime and you would have no idea, you can just be walking down the street and some fans may want to get a selfie and you could basically get it right there and then. Hopefully she and all the other people will get better because it was first the basketball players who were young, now casters who are not so old but still older than players, next stop is literally coaches who are old and I do not want to hear Greg Poppovich has corona, I can't take that.

New York Knicks owner James Dolan has corona and he is about 60 or so, definitely above 60 if I am not wrong, I hate the dude but I hope he gets better as well, maybe realize life is too short and he only has like 20-30 years maximum even with the best medical attention, so he tours with his band and sells his team and lives a rockstar life or something and stops annoying NBA fans.
533  Economy / Gambling / Re: FreeBitco.in-$200 FreeBTC⭐Win Lambo🔥0.2BTC DailyJackpot🏆$32,500 Wager Contest on: March 29, 2020, 03:17:01 PM
Can we multiply this x3 reward points with extra reward points to get it maximum? Usually in casinos when there is promotion it says that no promotion can be on top of other promotion. However, I just wanted to make sure since there was no warning about that one here. I could use my reward points to increase my reward points and simply took x3 times whatever reward point I use and reach to like x15 if I want to, is that possible?

Because if that is possible, I will literally stay awake for 24 hours and just grind the hell out of this in order to reach to that 100k reward points, that seems like the only way I can actually reach, it has been so hard to get there. I want to use the reward points for something but nothing I can afford is actually worth anything so I rather go to 100k.
534  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake.com | Crypto Powered Sportsbook and Casino | 🎰 🏀 ⚾ 🏈 🎾 🥊 🎲 on: March 29, 2020, 02:22:31 PM
Less than 5 hours for you guys to collect the raffle's tickets, you can share here as well on how many tickets you owns so far and wish you all the best of luck for the draw. Hope to see the winners are familiar names from this forum. 15 prizes to grab starting from $500 up to $10,000. What will you do if you win the main prize ($10,000) if I may ask?  Grin
Honestly, do not even worry about how many tickets you end up with, as long as you participate, every single ticket has the equal chance to win it all. There is another website that does lottery weekly and from there I know that have millions of tickets versus just 100 tickets were basically shown that it doesn't matter how many tickets you have, people with 70 tickets would win over someone with a million tickets, that happens quite frequently there.

Definitely, if you have millions of tickets you have a better "chance" but it is still chance so you can still end up losing and would be the biggest possibility since even having that much means 1-2% chance at most. Could they end up at top? Sure why not, like I said equal chances so they do have chance as well.
535  Economy / Economics / Re: Can cryptocurrencies play the role of real money as medium of exchange? on: March 29, 2020, 01:52:18 PM
What do you think are the main problems of cryptocurrencies that stop them from becoming real money and real medium of exchange (volatility, etc.)?
Lol Grin cryptocurrency are already playing the role of real money, they are already a medium of exchange and that’s the main purpose they were created.

The problem is that people don’t really trust cryptocurrency, it’s still new and they don’t understand how it works yet and plus the fact that it is volatile is making lots of people to be scared of making use of it since they are likely to lose their money due to how the price fluctuates wildly. Some people have said that cryptocurrency (bitcoin) will become stable, but I don’t think that’s going to happen any time soon.
536  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin fall on: March 29, 2020, 10:39:24 AM
Honestly, it keeps on going higher and then going lower, just do not panic when it does whatever it does, it is something usual by now and you should be customized to it already. Not like this is the first time bitcoin is going through some sort of up and down, it does this all the god damn time, sure we would love a steadier higher ups and less downs but at least we got that ups to be thankful about during the falls.

We peaked at around 6.8k levels or so just yesterday in some exchanges, averaged around 6.6k or so, now it is 6.2k so basically it is doing whatever it wants every single day, tomorrow we can see it at 5.8k or 6.8k and they both equally would be no shock, that is how bitcoin works, a 1 thousand dollar difference and nobody feels shocked about it.
537  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is 12K USD is the next target? on: March 29, 2020, 07:35:44 AM
It is very strange now to read and realize how dramatically the situation has changed.
The market was simply turned upside down, the situation radically changed the position and attitude of people. Today I read an interesting article about conspiracy theory and that the current situation in the world was prepared in advance. What do you think about that?
A pandemic, the collapse of the oil market, and in general the collapse of all financial markets, including cryptocurrencies ... In fact, little has changed ... Is this all artificial?
Yes, when the price gets closer to 11k after reaches above 10k, people are hopefully about reaching 12k because it is very close and one push could get it to over 12k and they are mostly right because those things could happen and has happened before as well.

When the price falls down to 5-7k levels people are still optimistic due to price basically bottoming out and not going down anymore, so they see the price going up as the only direction left (well when you don't go down, the only way is up) so that makes sense too because that has happened before as well (remember the 3.5k times?).

So, both of those people are right about reaching 12k and being in vicinity of that price plays a big role, if we talked about 20k that would be different but 12k is still doable if you ask me.
538  Economy / Economics / Re: Btc going to 2k or 3k or 7k or 9k on: March 28, 2020, 05:55:14 PM
I am not going to believe anyone that’s saying there is going to be another dump in the market, nah I am not going to believe that sh*t, Shocked. The way I’m seeing the market right now it is just going to be remain stable for quite some time and after that the next move is going to be up, and yes there is going to be a little up and down, that’s a normal thing.

I am believing that the pandemic will soon be fully under control and things will get better. And moreover it seems that bitcoin is no longer being affected because it has been recovering, the price is currently at 6,600 USD plus and the bulls aggressive in defending it at this rate.
539  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Which will be the best altcoin to invest now on: March 28, 2020, 04:14:42 PM
It is definitely better to divide your money into multiple stuff when investing, however crypto as a whole is one thing you should divide into, not which crypto. So, to make it more clear, if you want to divide your money, it should be stocks/gold/crypto and one more thing if you can, not btc/eth/ltc/eos type of thing, because in the end big cryptos almost always move the same whereas other stuff do not move all together usually but even when they do at least you would be divided between them all.

This downtrend was in all of them, all stocks, gold, all crypto so if you were divided you would have still lost money and that is understandable, but do not go into crypto thinking you can divide your money into 10 different coins and make different profits, they all go up and down together.
540  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Another crypto ban again? on: March 28, 2020, 09:11:11 AM
I don’t know if they did, but if that’s true, there is no way that they can identify cryptocurrency users, if there is , then I am not aware of that. They can only be able to stop cryptocurrency exchanges by issuing out orders to their banks to not offer services to cryptocurrency exchanges. Without banks there is no way that cryptocurrency exchanges will be able to function.

Most people prefer to make use of centralized exchanges and when there are no centralized exchanges they will lose interest and stop trading cryptocurrency. But, there are people who are die hard and will continue to buy and sell cryptocurrency through decentralized exchanges; those are the people you can’t stop.
