Doge used to be one of my favorite altcoin but it seems that it's not gonna recover to it's former state.
Is their hope for Doge? What can you say about the big drop of Doge?
I read recent article that Doge might pump soon. Didnt know the reason but we all know that when someone or a group is hyping, it could come true. I think doge is a great altcoin just like litecoins and others, doge have been having a great time and golden era before, there are forums that specialize in doge, doge gambling sites, online shop payments with doge, etc, I think it will not go away instantly. they have a huge community and users, I'm still convinced that doge will survive, and have hope wait for the pump |

Let give more detail. if you have 10 eth. should check some token - centra, kickico, real, autonio... I think 10 eth will look very little if you just hold it ? Not all , it's not regulated in some countries , like Russia.You can still join in some icos .I have to tell you ico is harder to be listed in exchanges, that means ico is far away from quick profit . thats true, i think just because one country forbids ICO circulating in their country does not mean the future of ICO is over, i think it is a misguided generalization there are still many countries that do not prohibit and have regulation like china. besides that the ban from other country will not any mean to another country |

ETH platform wins because of the features.
Waves is not ineffective, definitely succesful but still early for Waves, it should fix something and need some improvements.
of course the etherum platform will look superior because they are already in a good stage, while the waves are still young, and the platform waves still need handling and deeper development of the dev, but I'm sure in the next few years waves platform can talk much, lets wait |

Right time to buy alts is when bitcoin is at long term lows and nobody is talking about it. Picking up LTC @ 0.002 kinda prices etc. Right now people are very excited about crypto its best to hold bitcoin to preserve your crypto wealth with the least effort. Holding alts right now means you'd need heavy research daily.
currently bitcoin has continued to strengthen since news from china some time ago. after bitcoin has increased and re-gain I see altcoin lot in market experiencing stats "red" lol. so it's true what you say that, when you want to buy altcoin maybe you should also see the condition and situation of the bitcoin market |

In your list I Havr only qtum coin . 1k dollars is goo amount and for sure if you choose good coin you will earn a lot of profit. More coin is good because they have chances to earn big and preventing loses because if the coin decrease you have other coin. Choose wisely bro and for sure you will earn a lot of profit in the future. You can make a research so you can know what coin is best for your 1k dollars.
Thanks! I should probably start a new thread or update subject and first post. I invested the $1k+ across a few coins (hence the coin growth in above post versus initial post) and now I'm going to add an additional $2k today on the aforementioned coins (ARK, NEO, STRAT, QTUM). Try and reinvest the profits you make from your original investments into the next coins you are interested in taking a position in. That way if a crash happens, you only lose what you didn't have before you started Good luck! i usually do that when I get a profit from altcoin trading, then that profit 80% I'll use to look and buy for other altcoins that have the possibility and potential to have prices go up in the next few days and it keeps on going until the assets I've got are big, you can pull everything when you feel is enough and you can enjoy the results |

Im a N00b. I noticed that most of the top altcoins price went down when btc price went down. I bought some bitcoins so i can buy some NEM. I was wondering if I should wait a little while for the price of btc to go back up or would that mean that NEM prices would most likely go up too?
All this altcoins are depending in the Bitcoin's price generally. Bitcoin is the first and the most used , and the most valuable crypto currency ever, so it is normal that all the other crypto currencies values get affected by the bitcoin's price chart, either going up or down. i think it will be different if the altcoin is compared to the fiat price in the market, for example etherum / USD, although bitcoin price rises does not mean the price of etherum to the dollar will decrease, i think it will depend on the exchange rate you will choose, because it is very possible when bitcoin prices fall instead of etherum strengthened in dollar, not always affected by bitcoin rate |

Yes I agree that ETH is very good to be made as a long-term investment because the fundamentally is very good. ETH as a smart contract platform that use many ICO project, this will increase demand so that the price will increase in the long term. Also the volume and marketcap almost closer to Bitcoin. my prediction of ETH could be the price to go to $ 1000 this year.

I did search and found several threads on this topic but still haven't located a direct answer.
I currently have small amts of the following tokens: BTC, ETH, LTC, XRP, DGB, WGR, Waves, XEM, DOGE, SNT, XVG, BTS, MAID, SCL, BCN. I'm thinking about purchasing the Nano S as I'm currently storing in the exchanges which I know is heavily frowned upon.
Question
1. What are thoughts on Nano S vs Jaxx vs Exodus
2. Will Nano support all my above coins
3. Are exchange storages really that bad i.e. Coinbase, Poloniex, Bittrex

for number 3 I myself use the exchange to store a lot of altcoin I have because I think it will be much simpler and certainly easier when you want to sell the altcoin you have, but the lack is from security, you will not have a private key, and doesnt high security |
