what can you advise for newbie in cryptocurrency business for start?
If I were you it is much better for you to buy bitcoin then hold in a long term mate, or if cannot stop yourself to buy altcoin try to buy Ethereum and Maid these two was good in a long term, then in short term I think Dent and vibe is good to hold in 6 months span of time. lol I think the $50 capital is too little to be used for investing in bitcoin, seeing the bitcoin price is very high right now, surely you'll only get a bit of bitcoin and a little profit with that little capital, I think it's better to use $ 50 for altcoin trading, bigger profits even in a short time |

I have been looking to invest into more ICO's but i'm having some trouble to find the ones that do not scam you. So my question is:
How do you guys find your ICO's and how do you know they are a scam ?
I found my ICO at here at bitcointalk.org i am joining in a signature campaign to learn and earn money. So if you think that some of ICO was scam dont try to join or before you joining at the ICO kindly please read properly there some suggestion or some comment because im that place you notice or you can know if the ICO was scam or not. A few red plags to me are: * celebrity endorsements by people who clearly don't know anything about the market * enormous hardcap * working together with known scam websites/companies * no working product * no record of the team accomplishing something * lack of transparancy/honesty * unprofessional website/social media I strongly agree, better avoid the ico that as you mentioned above, because it is a scam ico traits, but in my opinion the celebrity that endorse the ico its includes the seriousness of the dev to introduce their product #IMO, look at how expensive it is to endorse celebrity, it's a bit of proof that they have the seriousness to run their project by introducing their project to customers and potential investors by using celebrity |

Personally I have been surprised by Bankera, I bought into the pre ICO and every week they have been paying the ETH
commissions into my wallet, also looking forward to Electroneum and BQX......
my favorite coin would be bitcoin and etherium because these two were the most profitable and has a good potential on the cryptocurency world although i mostly used bitcoin than etherium to buy stuffs online and paying my bills to a bitcoin wallet. i used etherium only when trading altcoins. for the future i see Etherum still has considerable potential to have multiple prices doubled over the next few years, seeing many users of cryptocurrency or businesspeople still love the systems and platforms of etherum, so etherum will remain worthed even more expensive |

I think ICO Regulation is very good so there is no scam ICO and also no money laundry action. The regulated ICO will also increase the investor's confidence in the ICO project. And also can protecting investors from fraudulent acts.

dogecoin is more cryptocurrency than other cryptocurrency. Fast transaction, mass adoption, still has solid community in reddit, and most important part, it is used as payment. Just need a little update, to make sure this coin isn't abandoned by its developer. Still, although without the devs, it has future in its community.
Just my thought, dogecoin is better than those high tech special feature coins, in term of real cryptocurrency.

I just imagine the amount of potentials doge coin possesses and at the same time it just seems its not moving. In the past year, several coins have came out even after DogeCoin and they have even gone beyond the level that they were drastically but it seems DogeCoin is just crawling and I feel its due to not much activities around the coin, no token being created and the developers, I don't know what they are into. don't expect dogecoin to has high price. it's almost perfect as digital payment, because fast transaction and of course, its big amount. That's why it has big supply. If you looking for profit in trading, dogecoin is not best choice. It's not created to has high price or as crypto asset or as expensive trading commodity but how about the price of dogecoin that had reached 120 satoshi a few years ago? at which time the price of dogecoin pumps several times over the previous price, but seeing the current conditions may be a little difficult right ? if you expect big profits, true what him say, better look for another altcoin that is more potential |

I would say yes and no. Yes because ICO or let say the whole project it self is very promising and there are lot of good projects related to ICO. I say "NO" when we are talking about the whole ICO, as you said there are lot of ICO coming out, surely there will be a scam and sh*tcoin after the introduction. So make sure to do research, participate here to know more ICO can not be said to be safe because every investment or business must have risks, but ICO can make a profit for you and also can be a loss for you, it depends on how you do picky on ICO that you buy, thats right mate make sure before you buy you must do research on the ICO you will buy, so at least you can have a picture is that ICO will be a scam or not ? |

There are plenty ICO's that have legit teams and goals however there are also scams ICO's--like how there's a two sides of everything. We just have to do our due diligence and take extra measures since were investing money. And also as the saying goes: Invest only what you can afford to lose.
firstly when you want to invest in ico you have to be prepared with all the risks that exist, because the risk on ico is not just a scam, many ico are successfully launching and coin they are listed in the exchange but only have a very low price, it is lower than the price buy while still ico, so in addition to avoiding the scam ico you also have to be prepared with all the risks that exist |

there seems to be a lot of people who are interested because there is no need to think about the expensive of electricity costs because hydrominning uses electricity using hydropower so very cheap, very creative in my opinion, but the ROI is long time enough (8 months) #imo, and many people say about the bad mining future, what do you think? ICO regulation is very much needed. This will not only help in safeguarding investors from possible scams but can also give legit ICO a better platform by eliminating scam ICOs from the competetion. Hundreds of ICOs are coming every month and it becomes hard for ICO to marketise themselves well. With less competition, with a trustworthy reputation of being legit, ICOs can attract more investors.
lol but who will give regulation on ico mate ? you all know that cryptocurrency is decentralization, all things and risks are borne by each user them self, although bitcointalk applies this regulation but it is very likely that other ico could just do advertisement in various media not just in this forum only right ? implementing the regulation on ico will be hard to do #imo |

you wanna get the max out of your trades. Panic is your worst enemy . You need to understand how pump and dump works so you don't do any panic sell or rush to buy .

I am only familiar with VIA coin I can say that this is a good coin to invest into and project is also interesting. I've heard about Shift too but not too familiar about it. I will try to start reading about the other coins you have so that I will have an idea if its worth to invest into that coins.
i've also been trading with viacoin in bittrex a few months ago but I have forgotten what rate at that time, but see this coin still survive until now, because via coin including coins that already have old age, so I think still be careful, but do checking on viacoin price statistics in various markets before buying it mate! |

I mostly trust Bitcoin, because it is the leading crypto currency right now. Adoption matters and BTC has a lot of it.

well there are too many good options to invest for a short-long term.
Waves is obviously the best for a long term, maybe it can go to $10 before February 2018, it needs some time to raise but it is a very promising coin.

i dont think its the best way to invest because there are many scams in most ico today and many of them are roaming around the forum on altcoin bounty section so you better watch out before you join any ico and i can say that its better to invest in bitcoin or altcoins rather than investing on ico's that looks proming. yeah investing ico I think is more risky than investing in bitcoin or altcoin, but I think the profit you'll get when investing in ico will be much bigger when you invest in bitcoin or altcoin, when ico is successful in their project and successfully entered to the exchange market, then you will get multiple benefits, because usually the price rate in the market will be much higher than before when you buy in dev |
