1121  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Hold or Trade - Which is Better? on: February 12, 2018, 02:04:16 AM
You can do both.Hold when you know that you will not get any profit or you will loose your money and you can trade if you think that you will get your money back and will gain from the original price.
I think the best option is to holding. no need for any skills, no need for any special analysis, because if you look at bitcoin history price. the price will definitely go up after the price drop (dump), so do not cutlose just for continue trading. maybe it will give you more loss dude, better be patient and wait. trust me the price will definitely recover back soon
1122  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I was bought some bitcoin by sell my land on: February 12, 2018, 01:54:40 AM
in my opinion you have made a terrible terrible terrible mistake by doing what you did, but it's all in the past now. I really feel hesitant about giving you advice because the stakes are so high for you. but I really believe that the price will turn around.
Agree I have a lot of investment. but I would not sell an investment just to raise capital in other investments. I mean real estate or property is a good investment and the price keeps going up each year. I would not sacrifice this investment by selling my property just to raise capital to buy other investments like bitcoin. I think both have different financial manageability dude. I think it's too risky if you sell your property just for buy bitcoin. better find another fund from your salary or your savings to buy bitcoin
1123  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: More traders.... Good or not? on: February 11, 2018, 02:12:25 PM
I’ve been wanting and taking my time to enter the trade game. But before I do, just wanting to know the prod and cons of having a lot of new traders coming in.

Trading is much more safer and easy to learn. I’ve been preparing myself for months now and wanted to start my journey here in bitcointalk. But like me? New Traders are comming in fast. Will it be a good sign to our world of crypocurrency? Or will it affect the competition inside?
I think there will be bad influence and good. First increase in traders will certainly increase marketcap and demand of course it will make the market more crowded and the price will be higher. but with the growing presence of new traders who still have little experience and little mentality will probably make the market more volatile. because most traders newbie easily to panic
1124  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Congratulation all we touched the bottom on: February 09, 2018, 09:48:52 AM
Good news for all of investors. The best time for buying. if you bought bitcoin at $19800 don't sell and buy again the same amount. So you can sell the half of your BTC at $11000-$13000 the next month.

I think this is the bottom for this correction so its time to buy.
The profit has come to us by droping this market to its real value last year. Now time to recover and we should buy and buy again.
we see in the next few days may be MA20. if bicoin price is not back weakened maybe yesterday is the bottom line for bitcoin prices. and it does not matter to buy some bitcoin just in case if in the near future bitcoin price can pump. because it might just happen right ? let alone the price is still stable around $8k. and you see marketcap getting bigger gradually, 'I think very likely the price will return to $10k or even more
1125  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto ATM - Would you use them? on: February 09, 2018, 02:53:52 AM
Lately, I have been seeing many crypto ATM that converts cash into crypto. I am having a tough time understanding the logic behind such machines. I mean, why wouldn't I just go to an exchange and buy crypto? I see no added benefit other than the rather high fees being charged.

Would like to know if any of you have used such an ATM? If so, why?

If you have never used such an ATM, under what circumstances would you consider using it?

As far as it doesn't require my personal informations to be given for using it, then i wouldn't be having any problem in using it.
for now it seems that the most widely circulated in different countries is bitcoin ATM. in my own country there are 2 ATM bitcoin. and it's far from my town so I myself have never used it before. but I think ATM for crypto would be very helpful especially if you need cash immediately and you have bitcoin or altcoin of course you can get money quickly using ATM. yeah of course on condition they do not ask for identity or the like
1126  Economy / Economics / Re: buy high and sell low. or hold which one is it? on: February 08, 2018, 12:00:12 PM
buying at a high price and selling at a low price is a bad decision because it will only make you lose, better if the price goes down you better hold it and be patient because the price will definitely rise again
but sometimes doing cutlose is also the right thing if the price continues to decline or in the downward trend, after the cutlose you can wait until the price stops and then you can buy bitcoin again at a cheaper price. but do this with a careful calculation. because it is very possible after you do cutlose precisely the price recover lol. it sometimes happens to me because of wrong calculation and bad analysis
1127  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How long do you think will the dip continue for? on: February 07, 2018, 12:46:40 AM
Well, it seems almost all coins have started recovering, but we cant tell whether this recovery will be sustained or it will fall again. We just hope that even if it doesnt rise significantly,it should just recover slowly and never drop again. Grin Grin
I hope so. I heard that some governments are beginning to coordinate how to regulate bitcoin rather than by prohibition. because they already realize that cryptocurrency can not be stop. hopefully this is a good thing for the market can re-recover. hopefully the strengthening of this cryptocurrency market can continue. maybe end of february we can see the result
1128  Economy / Economics / Re: do you think bitcoin is controversial ? on: February 07, 2018, 12:34:59 AM
It isn't controversial that is what the mainstream media would have you believe. If you had to ask yourself what is the #1 currency used for illegal activity in this world what would you say? If you say Bitcoin then mainstream media got you gooooood, but if you correctly answered the US dollar than you correctly did not fall for their BS narrative. You gotta think for yourself man, there is zero controversial here in that regard.
I think all currencies are used for illegal activities, it means all currency is controversial? I think people will not interpret it that way. bitcoin becomes controversial in the eyes of the media because bitcoin has no legal protection from the government. bitcoin is not a country's currency. so when there are some people using bitcoin for illegal stuff they say that bitcoin is controversial currency
1129  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What I do before buying an altcoin! on: February 06, 2018, 03:13:24 AM
Main rule in altcoin trading is don't buy at peak price and never sell on dip being panic as well as don't go with hype over chat rooms in exchangers.
You should have to do a deep research for the coin in which you want to invest and have to wait for it for a few weeks to monitor its volume of trade on exchanges and its potential after that try to invest there.
Seek advice from experienced cryptocurrency investors.
good advice and reasonable. but we also have to learn which alt which we will buy, at least a year back how the alt movement.
Yes thats a basic rule when trading an altcoin or before buying certain coin. We always tend to panic when price suddenly drops but that's a bad habbit when trading an altcoin. Always research, observe the flow in the market because this will always help you to decide.
Everyone knows that we should do research first before buying altcoin that we choose, maybe the next question is how to choose a potential altcoin whereas there are thousands of altcoin available? of course you will not do deep research on all existing altcoin because it will spend all your time right ? randomly choosing ?
1130  Economy / Economics / Re: Facebook accepts Bitcoin? on: February 06, 2018, 02:14:43 AM
its not sure yet but if Facebook develop their own coin its a good thing
for now its just a hear say  no one can ever tell if that will going to happen
I also did not hear about it actually the problem is people use to spreads fake news about crypto currency but if it is true than it is great news really! Because this thing will increase the price of bitcoin more and more so in future it will not be hard to make income with bitcoin, I am bitcoin investor and hoping to have high profit out of bitcoin Facebook is the really a famous website and social media so it is really a great news.
if facebook can accept bitcoin of course it is a very good development for bitcoin. but the news spread in the media is a facebook developer banning ads bitcoin on facebook. it was circulated a few days ago when the Indian government also banned bitcoin and it makes the market go awry again. this is the news https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/the-switch/wp/2018/01/30/facebook-bans-misleading-advertisements-for-cryptocurrencies-including-bitcoin/
what do you think ?
1131  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: why bitcoin illegal in asia? on: February 06, 2018, 02:08:29 AM
each in the Asian country has a different understanding about bitcoin.
leaders in Asian countries are afraid if bitcoin could damage the country.
I think that fear should be eliminated from the great leaders.
currently bitcoin image can be said very ugly you know. the government really makes the public view of bitcoin become worse. the government is running this scenario in order for their local currency to survive from the attacks of foreign currency and to avoid the rise of online crime. that's what they told the media why they banned bitcoin. you're right I think we need takes a great leader like a famous investor to tell the media and the world that bitcoin is not as horrible as the government thinks
1132  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is bitcoin really gonna be dead? on: February 05, 2018, 02:41:29 AM
I heard that BTC is going down and will soon gonna be dead. Is it still a good idea to invest in BTC?

No one didn't know future and they didn't predict what happen to the bitcoin in the future. I think bitcoin gonna be dead just because of right now almost everybody knows about bitcoin like some businessman, and traders who knows bitcoin and they understand properly so that bitcoin never gonna be died.
This speculation that has been mainstream since a few years ago "bitcoin gonna be dead when bitcoin prices go down very deep" did you guys not tire of hearing this rumor all the time after bitcoin prices weakened? this speculation has been circulating over years ago and you can see until now bitcoin is alive? so do not be silly to believe bitcoin will die just because bitcoin prices weaken
1133  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: People, why are you so scared? on: February 05, 2018, 02:20:09 AM
Unfortunately, people do not make money well. If fear is a waste of money will mean that fear in the world will be a lot because there is a drop in every moment, but the patience gained better looking patience need
I agree on your point mate, well we have many reasons to deal such thing in our life. To feel a fear is just normal all of us here in crypto currency community especially during downfall situations. On my part, I believe someday it will back to stabilize value but in a long term investment which it will depends on each and everyone of us prerogative decisions.
Thats true, fear is a normal thing to be felt by everyone. even I'm sure big traders have a fear when extreme price changes like today. fear is reasonable because of your likelihood of loss from money you have but the difference is the way people manage they fear. usually great traders will not use their fear as the primary choice to determine a thing. like today they will not follow their fears and sell all their bitcoins because afraid of losing more. they will surely be patient and make the right choice with a careful calculation
1134  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Can ethereum reach the top? on: February 02, 2018, 01:55:02 AM
Price of Btc is keep going down.
which one do u choose?
BTC or ETH for ICO?
[/pre]

I choose eth, since bitcoin get down I should do some action to protect my asset, and finally exchange all coins become eth is the right one. Besides that, many project more accept eth than bitcoin and I still don't get it why it happen? because bitcoin transactions too much delay, bitcoin price too high or something else. This time ( 2018 ) is ETH year, it will not beat bitcoin but I'm sure eth will become the best second coin.

Ethereum platform has a great platform for smart contracts and its prefered mainly because of its steady growth and several ICO's using the ethereum blockchain.
but although most ICOs use Ethereum platforms but that does not mean Ethereum will be the number 1 coin in cryptocurrency. I think bitcoin will still be number 1. because the mindset has been implanted in almost all minds of users or potential users that bitcoin is their main coin. they will be more confident in bitcoin cause of first cryptocurrency. Ethereum will only be the second or the only alternative.
1135  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: why all coins are going down..? on: February 02, 2018, 01:45:50 AM
why all coins are going down..? can i sale it or hold.
The reason why almost all of them are on a downwards spiral are currently unknown, I have no clue and there isn’t any negative rumors about the cryptocurrency world to make all of them to go down in such manner.

A drop in bitcoin prices could cause investors to lose confidence in bitcoin, a drop in funding for bitcoin start-ups, and a wave of large-scale closures by some bitcoin start-ups, eventually creating a vicious cycle. These will cause the price to drop.
Of course because of fud, speculation, and badnews about the prohibition of crypto in major countries such as Korea, Japan, China, Indonesia. let alone these countries have a very large bitcoin users. of course it is very influential on the market country and make the market a mess because many users are afraid of the news. now the condition is quite improved but that most of the coins have not happened recover the price yet, including Bitcoin
1136  Economy / Speculation / Re: bitcoin now slowly drop should i sell? on: February 01, 2018, 12:57:22 AM
It's your choice to sell or not but I will advise you hold cos it will definitely pump soon

Yes, it is his choice whatever he do with his bitcoins. But i also advice him, it is not a trader habit that you sell you coins in a dump price, being a practical and hold it for a time, bitcoin 100% will rise and when it will rise then we have a good time to sell our bitcoin in a profit.
But sometimes continuing price drop makes you feel even more scared. I know all traders must have experienced this. it is impossible that they are not afraid when prices go down especially if they hold dozens or hundreds of bitcoins. but it's true what you say is stupid if you sells at a dump price. do not think negatively because it just make you scares and panics and worsens the market. think positively! bitcoin will pump soon, I would advice to hold. same what I do
1137  Economy / Speculation / Re: 2018 end of the year BİTCOİN price on: January 31, 2018, 07:53:36 AM
Why people don't speculate when the price is increasing. Everytime it is not possible for any market to keep on increasing the price, so there is huge chance when the price is decreasing.
we must accept the fact that the price will go down always after it rise.l because of some reason.  But we must wait for it cause there's always a correction at the end because there are no permanent circumstances,  so much better to wait and buy more while the price is cheap to gain more profits when it climb again.
Sometimes many people predict prices will go down after price going up. but precisely what happened the price continued to rise? like a few moments ago between november-december. many people predict prices to stop rising at $10k? but prices continue to rise to over $17k.
the point is we don't know when the price will stop moving up or when prices will go down. there is no situation where the price will always go up. like some time ago, then the price drops due to correction
but not forever the price will go down. so even though the current price is still down trend. surely there will be a time the price will rise. so prepare yourself
1138  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How Do You Secure Your profits? on: January 31, 2018, 07:17:03 AM
To secure my profit i will cash out some of my profit every month from crypto for daily needed and also to make investment in others asset like gold and house because this kind of asset more safe than crypto because low volatilitas , and i hold some potential coin in long term to.make other profit. So make investment in many kind of asset will minimize the risk.
That is good idea, withdrawing profit is on of the best ways to secured our profits in the future, therefore using multiple wallet is also a good idea to protect our profits from the intruders and hackers. In my sight all people have a different opinion in terms of securing accounts and income that's why we need to respect it. For now securing of accounts are depending to us because anytime there's a possibility to hack our account.
Im not too focused on hacking issues because my bitcoin can be store in a safe place with high security and myself have never experienced theft, my focus is on securing profits so that the profits are not lost or gone, (lost in the sense of being used for risky investments and then losses, or lost for being used for spree) do you ever felt that you've been long time in this business and you think you've gotten a lot of money but after calculating, your bitcoin amount does not vary much different with your capital before? then where is our profit? sometimes i experience it, I was thinking how to secure our profit? right now I'm share between profits and capital in different wallets maybe it will help, or you're right with cashout on the profits that you get, it will secure the profit.
1139  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 5k to invest in crypto . on: January 26, 2018, 02:22:28 AM
hey guys , i have 5k to invest , i dont know which coins or token should i invest in , i think i missed the party , because most of the coins price is too high right now , what do you guys think , iam planing to hold untill mid 2019 , i want to get profit like 500k , i know its big number , but i heard alotta ppl did that b4 , thank you .

If I am having $5,000 with me, this is how I am going to invest:

Bitcoin: $2,500
Bitcoin Cash: $1,000
Ethereum: $500
Anyone among LTC/XMR/ZCASH/XLM/WAVES: $500
Any one from the new coins, such as XVG, KMD.etc: $500
Using most of your money on bitcoin may not be a problem because it will provide greater safely. but I do not really agree with the allocation of funds for altcoin. let alone the allocation of funds is too large for bitcoin cash. I myself was not too interested in coin from the fork. I prefer to allocate funds on coins that have the potential to have a high price. maybe the strategy will be like this.
50% on Bitcoin, 20% for Ethereum (because all users agree this coin has a great future), 30% for coins that are still growing like Waves, Ripple, Digibyte, BTDX
1140  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: I have $20k ,how do I invest on: January 25, 2018, 01:36:03 AM
I think you should spend 25 percent to buy bitcoin ,25percent  to ethereum, 25percent to buy other cryptocurrency and  25percent to buy a very good ICO.

In my opinion, 25% in BTC is not a good call. You should not invest more than 10% in BTC, coz 2018 will be the year of altcoins. You can only have max 2x growth(if everything goes smoothly) on BTC, whereas altcoins like NEO, Monero, Kucoin etc can get you 5x+ return easily. Moreover, decreasing dominance of BTC in the market is also not a positive sign to invest in BTC anymore.
There is no denying that now altcoin is getting more popular, altcoin is becoming the most popular investment right now, you can see the marketcap on every altcoin is huge, it's rise a few percent of the altcoin marketcap a few years back, I agree with you. last year ICO became a favorite investment, but I think this year altcoin became the most desirable investment because besides its cheap price, the possibility of profit to be obtained is very big with short term also. so I think the allocation of funds may be 50% in altcoin, 35% in bitcoin and 15% in ICO #IMO
