61  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] CRAFTCOIN [CRAFT] COIN FOR HANDCRAFTED GOODS AND COSTUMIZATIONS on: October 14, 2017, 11:59:09 AM
Hello all. first i have to apologise for being absent for this long. Had sort out some real life issues.
Craftcoin project is not dead!
We have started to work on trading platform as previously intended.
Another major news are that craftcoin will move to a new blockchain with more secure algo. New chain will be with longer pow period and POS percentage will be higher.
You will be able to exchange your current craft to new Craft V2.
All this will happen in October, november, so stay tuned.

You meant Oct/Nov 2017? lol
62  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: RISE | DPOS | APPS & DAPPS | Mobile App Store | Blockchain Incubator | Rewards on: October 14, 2017, 02:10:33 AM
But of course no one addresses the questions about slack closing, peoples coins disappearing, and the lead going to OXYcoin who already did a sleazy moving dumping their Ark before hand. They probably doing the manipulation with Rise also.

Why don't you just read the last 500 pages of the thread? ok? See how many times people like you come into the thread with accusations and spread FUD.

I've seen people address your question about Slack "closing". I'm also in Slack now and not seeing any cause for concern.

I can't comment on people's coins disappearing, I don't know about that and haven't experienced that. I have a good friend that is invested in RISE that also hasn't complained about this. Even with the price droppoing, he's making a great return from voting with his RISE. Something I don't even do and have yet to even learn about.

I also can't comment on Oxycoin, but I can say that most developers are working on multiple projects. Whether they be Bitcoin devs, Ethereum devs, or any other cryptocurrency developer. They advise, invest, and contribute to multiple repos. In fact, that's what informed investors would prefer.

You would need to be a developer to understand.
63  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: RISE | DPOS | APPS & DAPPS | Mobile App Store | Blockchain Incubator | Rewards on: October 14, 2017, 02:02:32 AM
how do i join a staking pool?

You have to vote for a delegate. A vote costs you 1 RISE, which you will earn back quickly if you have a decent amount of Rise in your wallet and choose a nice pool.

You can see the delegates list here: http://rise.delegates.tech/risevotel.php
And a tutorial: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0OiO5E2avYI

The wallet was updated after the video tutorial was made, so it is a bit different, but no worries, you should be able to find everything they are talking about.

Good luck!

is there a way to earn RISE faster, maybe with a node or as a delegate? I have around 180k rise tokens...

180k will get you into a 100% pool and earn you a good monthly return.

the fact there was no response is what makes it clear there is significant disagreement.

i dont doubt you are in profit - i am too. however to get the coin to new heights, say 100 fold from now, some recycling has to be done. sell and reinvest at a bit higher than before. no one objects to profit taking along the way, it is expected and is healthy for the long term price.  allow some little folks a bit of profit too rather than squeezing the life out of them and the coin will be more secure and there would be a much tighter spread between buy and sell prices.  little folks will stay for life and support the coin from its foundation and it becomes unshakeable.  as it stands it can be wiped out in an instant, and many little folks prob bought in at the top. if youre not careful they will cut their losses too never to return and pay attention that there is not much price support unless you want to provide it.

and im not saying sell everything necessarily lol.  im telling you what is required to make more money.  by all means continue as you are, rip the life out of the coin and take as much profit as you can and all you will get is lower prices, less faith and many more accusations of scam leading you nowhere fast.  its short term thinking. legitimate projects recognise that sacrificing a little profit is an investment in itself.  when i sold i could have taken much more profit but chose not to as corrections are healthy and goodwill in the market helps boost faith amongst those that actually understand, as well as those that could not afford the thinly traded high prices that were being maintained.  you want these people in and sells give them the opporrunity. you want to build a community right and make more money? youre risking it all for less money than risking less lmao.

i actually want the coin to succeed which is why i didnt maximise profit and left plenty on the table for others. and i will help it succeed whether im in or not as i believe in the idea.and i have a few at least so you cant reject me for no skin in the game.

so if you believe in your product relax. the big boys will come if you arent too greedy - they expect you to take significant profit - but not  entirely at their expense and they need to see sufficient profit potential themselves.. their risk profiles will not allow exposure to such obvious risk, which is why you see crickets out there right now instead of them being all over this loke they could be.

or be just another altcoin and be a market tyrant.  we all know what happens to tyrants in the end - cutting your nose off to spite your face is a mistake imo and holding too many actually show your fears and lack of faith in the product because essentially your saying if i cause the price to go down im worries it wont go back up.  so you fall victim to your own fears because others see that, and so you make them come true.

its a good product but the best product doesnt always win you need adoption. ask sony about betamax.  im not saying it wont necessarily be a success either way, but it will take a lot lot longer your way imho if it even gets there that way.  look at btc...ots been successful because traders have allowed swings.

the reason i was looking for a response is because debate is healthy for the coin also - faith will increase if people can see that the right thing is being done and issues are being considered as they are placing money in your hands and need confidence.  all currencies require faith and confidence and if you think you can tell the market hiw it is rather than the other way round you are in for a shock most likely. it might be a steep learning curve for you but it will benefit you in the long run.  we can learn the lessons of life the easy way or the hard way my friend.

you obviously ignored the comment about selling a decentralised system but controlling it centrally being a bit of a contradiction!

im not going to cry either way from the sidelines anyway.. its not like i havent missed profit opportunities in the past many times and ive made plenty here. i had hoped all involved would do well but im happy just paying it forward in life, it has always served me well.

It's more likely that we're impatient and can't be bothered to read your walls of text.

obviously many people think i am wrong so please tell me how im wrong if i am, and if youre right i will be quiet and let you get on with it.

Am I missing something? You wrote 3 posts in a row and nobody even responded to them.

Are you just trying to get your post count up?

The current price, right now, is 100x what the price was a year ago, exponentially affected by the rise in BTCs price. I'm running nodes, not selling. Why would I sell pure profit?

I will risk losing it all. Why? Because I can.
66  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Bitcloud 2.0 - BTDX - PoS3 - Newest Masternode Core 12.2 - Quark on: October 13, 2017, 03:12:29 PM
How many coins do I have to buy to run a masternode by myself? And on what exchanges can I buy BTDX right now? Is it possible to buy with ETH or only with BTC?

10k

Cryptopia

No, only with BTC for now. There are LTC and Doge markets but nothing to them yet.
67  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Bitcloud 2.0 - BTDX - PoS3 - Newest Masternode Core 12.2 - Quark on: October 13, 2017, 01:14:59 PM
I see very good work. Next masternode coin is ready!

Devs please add in the first post:

New exchange cryptopia!
https://www.cryptopia.co.nz/Exchange/?market=BTDX_BTC

and masternode calculator?
https://bit-cloud.info/masternode/

keep in mind these calculators are highly inaccurate due to the low liquidity.  somebody drove the price up on cryptopia trying to buy a MN, and it looks like this coin is mooning.  but the highest buy orders are down at 7000 sats, meaning that there's no liquidity for any large hodlers to dump, and this thing will shoot right back down as soon as any of those buy orders are filled.

looks great on paper tho!

The price has been going up to 15k pretty regularly for the last month or so. Cryptopia is a new and better listing.

Personally, I have already made quite a bit of profit off of Bitcloud, but I mined it...

I can say that I regret the coins I have sold. I'd rather have the masternodes I could have had.

$10,000 marketcap... Poor guy trying to buy a MN on Cryptopia lol.

CMC listing is incorrect.

Can the dev contact coinexchange and help them further. This is not a matter of waiting, they need guidance! It is coming up on 3 weeks down. This is unacceptable ! Many people, including me, have a large amount of coins stuck there.

I've raised a ticket with them over the stuck coins the the Bitcloud wallet generally.  I suggest everyone with stuck coins do the same (you have to register for a new account on their support site, not use your CoinExchange details).  Ask that they either fix the wallet (update it) or manually return the coins you sent.  If you purchased coins on the exchange then, since you can now buy on Cryptopia, I suggest selling them (unless you are going to make a big loss) and buying from Cryptopia instead.

Update from CoinExchange to my ticket:

Quote
Due to an overwhelming demand and the current high volume we have been receiving we are currently working on urgent system upgrades, please bear with us until we have resolved the issues. There are a few wallets that need attending to with updates, fixes and re-syncing but we have literally not had the time as the system is the crucial priority. We apologies for any inconvenience, please be assured we will get this asap. Pending transactions will process once the active again.

Sincerely,

CoinExchange.io Support Team

Thier loss. We've waited patiently for a long time. Now we trade elsewhere.

Kinda pointless to mine solo during instamine protection blocks, no?

agreed, I obviously didn't read the OP

Can't blame you, they all started looking the same a long time ago.
72  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] LUXCoin — New PHI1612 PoW/PoS Hybrid Algorithm — Parallel Masternodes on: October 11, 2017, 03:27:37 AM
I like to solo-mine on the first day of coins... but I guess lots of people were already mining by now (I was at work when the coin launched at 10:00am Dallas time)

pointing 200 MH/s to Altminers.net Smiley

maybe I'll get my AMD rigs in too...

Kinda pointless to mine solo during instamine protection blocks, no?
73  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] LUXCoin — New PHI1612 PoW/PoS Hybrid Algorithm — Parallel Masternodes on: October 11, 2017, 03:11:11 AM
I'm trying to understand... has this coin been launched for 12 hours,  lots of people can't sync the wallet still, and no pools have mined a single block yet ?

My wallet is synced, dev released a new version recently, and I have been mining for hours.
74  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] LUXCoin — New PHI1612 PoW/PoS Hybrid Algorithm — Parallel Masternodes on: October 11, 2017, 03:10:43 AM
Finally I am able to mine now, luckily I did not spend much time during launch, looks like the launch was not running smooth. Anyway, all of us are waiting for block 501  Grin

Won't have to wait much longer. Block 383 now.
75  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Bitcloud 2.0 - BTDX - PoS3 - Newest Masternode Core 12.2 - Quark on: October 09, 2017, 03:04:19 PM
When exchange?

We have too wait..Sorry.  Undecided

Kind Regards Christian

What have you actually heard from them , because it doesnt seem like they know what they are doing? 2 weeks of waiting is ridiculous for maintenance

I have received a ticket from cryptopia...

"Administrators will review the coin/code and begin the listing process as soon as possible."

I think we have asap a good solution for the bitcloud project.

Kind Regards Christian

Sounds great.
76  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN]Bitcoin Project X [BPX][POW][SHA-256D] on: October 07, 2017, 10:17:07 AM
Vivo again didn't work for me. I don't know why, but when I point a rig to it I get ridiculously high hashrate on the rig, 10-50 times what I should, no exaggeration. Then the rig stops working. I tried with 3 different rigs owned by 3 different people and 2 had the same results. The other just didn't hash there at all.

The other pool from the OP, hashing worked. I hashed for 45 hours on that pool and never received a single payout.

I do not recommend either of the original pools that were posted.

Bearded opened their pool last night and I switched. Now things are working as they should. If you want to mine this coin, do it on Beardedpool. The others are not working properly.
77  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN]Bitcoin Project X [BPX][POW][SHA-256D] on: October 06, 2017, 07:22:45 PM
Seems like a waste of hashpower. 2 blocks found overnight, no blocks in 5 hours now?

Are we really only at block 152? I started mining at block 150 about 12 hours ago... I'm the only person on the pool, one of the pools from the OP, and I have an ASIC pointed there. The other pool is dead too.

I can see why if no blocks are being found.

bpx.gcpool.eu currently states "under maintenance"

Blocks are being found at a faster rate than every 5 hours as you can see on the explorer: https://vivocryptopool.com/explorer/BPX

If you want to continue mining, please switch to one of the other pools listed.

I did not use gcpool. I used the 2 pools from the OP. One of which didn't pay out anything, and the other paid me 5. The funny thing is the one that paid me 5 had about 20 mins of hashing because the rig messed up and couldn't/wouldn't hash. The one that didn't make anything hashed for 36 hours and either never found a block or never got paid.

Vivo is the one that paid so I'll throw another 72 hours at it and see how it turns out. Thanks.

Does anyone know where the net hash power is coming from? All mining pools that i found so far have all below 1GH/s hash power.
I'd like to join a pool with some decent  pool speed.

Multiple people have asked, no answers have come.

I would mine this but it appears the pools have either delisted the coin or not found a block in a long time. I'm not sure what happened with this coin, but I'm still interested in mining it if there is an active pool. If not, whatever. No shortage of coins out there... lol
