I'm in agreement here. The floor problem bothers me the most. You are still pro-gaw right? Do you own a bunch of hashstakers? How do you handle the idea of being stuck with them for 3-6 months when the value of paycoin2 is so low you can't possibly make a profit on it? Do you see any hope at this point? I've always said I was fairly neutral about the whole thing. I do like to bust some chops every now and then (I do so at HT too.) I converted all my primes into the expiring kind to try and extract as much as I could in 6 months. Cashing out at the market rates just wouldn't have cut it. I don't see how any of this paycoin thing is going to work. I sincerely doubt I'll be able to get out in 6 months and hundreds of others will be looking to cash out at the same time. I'm stuck.... but I'm doing my best to get out. So... if things get better in the next 3-6 months... great. That is smart. You are doing the best you can. Stay positive and keep alert. There will probably be a few exit points were you can get out with ROI or even make a profit. These do seem to pop up now and then. Just keep an eye out for them. |

My vote would be "The Way We Live Now" Yes, it is one of those "Tea & Crumpets" stories that my wife likes so much, but you have to appreciate the similarities between the slippery con man Augustus Melmotte and Josh Garza and the near perfect fit of Melmotte's Scam in creating a Railroad Company for a railroad that is never meant to be built and whose only purpose is to bilk investors out of their money and what is happening with Paycoin. The way all of the investors get whipped into a cultish frenzy is eerily similar as well. Just have to substitute a boom industry of today (Crypto currency) for the one of then (Railroads) and *poof* instant modernized story. No idea if there are any ill fated love stories happening behind the scenes with the Paycoin saga though.... lol dont give any ideas on here cause maybe know we might have a interview with the vampire movie, but will be josh in the 1700s suching peoples wallets dry. Or are you actually saying that only certain kinds of censorship are bad, and this site is good? If so, you need to be a lot clearer about that. There is some censorship here , no doubt about that ... I think the point he is trying to make is that there is a lot more censorship and banning at HT. Not to mention locking threads when it doesn't go the GAW party line way. I've written a couple of negative and questioning posts, and never got banned. When a thread is locked it is often because the same question is being discussed on a different thread. I've been attacked here a lot worse than on ht, including posts deleted and being insulted (which I don't really care about, but shows the culture). Please don't defend the shadow ban capital of the world. Most of us were users on HT at some point that asked the wrong question and got shadow banned (a despicable form of censorship if there ever was one). This forum and the users here is what has forced gaw's hand to decrease the amount of censorship on HT. If not for us, you and many others currently speaking out over there currently would be banned, no doubt about it. But you can believe whatever you want. |

Enterprise quality there for sure.
PHP would at least have a chance to work. It will likely be some kind of buzzword soup like node.js sockets and stuff. Look at ZenCloud. And how could they possibly have it tested without bitcoin blockchain is beyond my comprehension. You'd think for a release like that you are not going to set up the server at the last minute, you'd have it done and running well before and just swap in the IP/VM/whatever at the scheduled time. But what do I know, I'm old school. You would think huh lol but I guess this is cowboy development at its finest. |

If the site isn't up somewhere where some insider users are testing it heavily as we speak (which means the connections to the exchange should already be online) I just don't see it happening any time soon. You can rarely just turn these things online and have them just start working out of the box. I wouldn't be surprised if we wake up tomorrow and they are still working on it.
