361  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bounty alone is not enough on: July 07, 2019, 03:52:21 PM
Totally agree with you. Bounty is a good way to attract extra attention for the project, but there should be fresh news, announcements about partnerships etc. to make people interested in the project.
Of course, investors won't be interested just because someone put an ICO ads in someone's signature. they are interested because of the innovations they bring, bounties will not be enough to attract and make people interested, the actual function of the bounty is so that people know about the existence of that project, for interest depending on what the project brings
362  Economy / Economics / Re: Cryptocurrency, KYC and Terrorism on: July 07, 2019, 01:56:56 AM
it's just a presumption, and not necessarily the truth.
you are right, they could have misused investor identity for illegal activities such as "terosisme". therefore we must be more careful.
So that is no longer a presumption, because with misused KYC it is very possible for them to be used on the black market and the worst is for terrorism activities. This is a concern for many people because even I have read these rumors which seem to be the case, so with such a valuable personal identity we should be more careful and if they have a project that has a good reputation then giving KYC maybe will be safe even though nothing guarantees that 100% will be safe.
It is up to the person if they want to send their personal information to the public just for a small pennies. Doing some research is a must if one would want to make sure that he's not played out by some random guys behind the internet. It would be possible that they can sell our personal information to the black market but we have the power to prevent it first by not giving it to the wrong hand.
Yeah who will guarantee the data you provide will remain safe, we are on the internet where we don't know who we are dealing with, we don't know their intentions are bad or not? I myself away from the project that requires KYC for whatever reason, my identity is far more important
363  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Doge coin is good or bad for investment ? on: July 07, 2019, 01:51:32 AM
hi friends now the current price of doge coin is very low and i want to invest in doge coin. So please i need your suggestion that i need to invest my money in this coin or not? And now the price of 1 doge is 31 sat please give me suggestion.

Doge coin is a good coin and one of the most potentially to stay stronger as popular coin at coin market cap but is difficult to predict if their price can back again into their last price high. So learn well before to decide for your good, for me doge coin is for long term hold.
This coin is very old, I have been trading on this coin since I first joined in 2013, the price goes up and down, which means it is still suitable and profitable for trading and holding, although the potential is not too big like another new altcoin, but doge is still worth to buying
364  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why was $13,800 unsustainable? on: July 06, 2019, 02:42:34 PM
It doesn't mean unsustainable, that just happened we're into corrections period right now because of group of hodler who choose to sell. After that no need to worry; market will recover back what has been lost. This is the trend of volatile market, it sometimes up and goes down like a roller coaster ride. Just go on with its flow and you'll be better once everything will be back to green days.
Yeah, just because prices are reversed, that doesn't mean there's unsustainable, the correction is sure to happen on every pump,
so don't assume that the price increase is over, the road is still very long mate, believe me you will find lots of price increases ahead
365  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What type of challenge do you face when you want to buy or sell bitcoin? on: July 06, 2019, 02:36:01 PM
Hello, everyone.

I have a few questions. Can you help me with?

1. What type of challenge do you face when you want to buy or sell bitcoin or any other crypto?

Of course price fluctuations in the market, it is the only challenge that will be faced by every trader, prices that go up and down are sometimes unpredictable making the risk even greater, and it requires you to be smart in analyzing and researching, if you are not smart then chances for the loss will be even greater
366  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Who Says Bear Market is BAD? on: July 06, 2019, 02:07:39 AM
Bear market is the best time for the investors or those that Holding some alts that having a good value in the future. Every great investor take advantage of bear market. Many that invested in the 4 quarter of 2018 and 1 quarter of 2019 bear market are now smiling to the bank. But bear market has a advantages and there are also a disadvantages.

See the current conditions where prices rise very high, and we begin to dream of prices getting back weaker so we can get another
chance to buy more, finally many people realize that bearish is not entirely bad right? it is actually a golden opportunity to collect and buy
367  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is your most weird betting experience? on: July 06, 2019, 01:56:58 AM
I considered my past year experience as weird betting experience, because I only used small btc amount that earned luckily on dice games. But, I find it enjoyable at first then suddenly all my wins was vanished due to I failed to make it again after such a long time. The weirdest thing about it, I wasn't able to control my excitement after winning situations came.
it's an experience that must have been experienced by all players lol. players getting excited when they won then continued playing
and finally he started to experience a losing streak and lost all of his capital, I also experienced that
368  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it just me or is the market dominance of BTC dangerously high? on: July 06, 2019, 01:52:57 AM
It is really high but according to my understanding it shows the strength of btc and probably indicates that market is going through btc bulls phase which was long awaited by most of the hodlers and seems like the rally will continue from here on.
Almost all of people are paying attention to the bitcoin after a bitcoin ETF already approved by US regulators. they are all taking altcoin as an alternative way when bitcoi's volatility is very low and doesn't enough to give them all profit. PnD for altcoin at this moment is a real thing dude.
Indeed, it is only natural that the dominance of bitcoin is very high lately, especially since the fantastic price changes in bitcoin
certainly make investors switch to buying bitcoin, so that the dominance is above 60% now, that is normal for me.
369  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sportsbetting odds, which do you prefer? on: July 06, 2019, 01:39:16 AM
I would like to hear some of your comments based on your experience here.

Sports betting is one of the favorite games in gambling and I always wanted to experience a long term winning.

Therefore I'd like to get some of your opinion based on your experience, which is odds listed below gives you a better chance of winning?

a) over 2.00 or b) less than 2.00

It depends on the match and the team you choose, the odds don't fully reflect the chance and strength of the team you want to choose. for example when Man City vs Liverpool, odds for liverpool win around @2.00 and man city win around @1.89 then I will still choose Liverpool to win
370  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The "how to" of building a gambling site on: July 06, 2019, 01:32:54 AM
There are books on how to build altcoins but I don't see any in-depth guidance on how to build a gambling site.
It seems to be all trial and error.
If you know of any technique or site or forum I would appreciate hearing about it.
which I know you need a lot of capital, A lot! to create a gambling site, small capital will not succeed and provide benefits to you, even just bankrupt, the risk of making altcoin is much smaller than gambling houses dude. there are many things that must be prepared, the team of programmers to make the system, the marketing team to market it, and so forth
371  Economy / Economics / Re: Big Bankers Say Cryptocurrencies Do Not Threat The Global Financial Stability on: July 05, 2019, 03:47:49 PM
This is not just the big bankers. This was recently announced by the G20 countries on the results of the summit in Japan. In addition, it was stated that cryptocurrency can have a positive impact on the global financial system. This means that the states will continue the process of cryptocurrency legalization and we are expected by the general regulation of cryptocurrency at the level of intergovernmental organizations.
Really? because these conference was attended by many heads of state including my president and American president, very special if they also discussed about bitcoin. in my opinion, bitcoin does not threaten anything, but bitcoin improves the world economy, there should be someone who said that in that forum
372  Economy / Economics / Re: Crypto Scams are a global issue on: July 05, 2019, 03:41:23 PM
The scams in crypto is a great concern which needs to be tackled if we ever dream of seeing global mass adoption of cryptocurrencies. The reasons why most people don't trust using cryptocurrencies to make transactions is because of the numerous scams that surrounds it.
This is a shared problem, scam is a problem that will continue to exist in the crypto business and investment, all we can do is be careful on every project and coin you want to buy, it is rather sad that many scams make potential investors run away, but we don't have the power to stop the scam anyway ?
373  Economy / Economics / Re: Can not believe 5 years ago you could of bought one whole bitcoin for this much! on: July 05, 2019, 03:37:08 PM
For $651~ you could of got yourself a shiny whole bitcoin on coinbase plus their $6.66 fee.
I wouldnt of mind paying this fee on top regardless.
Even if they were asking 10% of the purchase amount at the time which is probably more by now. Wink

Even I have experienced and bought bitcoin at a price of $200, bitcoin users who have joined since 2013 certainly have experienced it, Smiley Experience up and down prices to almost touch $100. unfortunately many of us don't save it for the long term Sad
374  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How much money do I need to start investing on bitmex? on: July 05, 2019, 01:34:09 AM
If you're talking about exchanges like BitMEX, I don't think "investing" is the right term to use. It's more of "gambling" like jostorres said.

If you really want to speculate or "invest" in Bitcoin, I heavily suggest to just straight off buy Bitcoin and just keep it for years to come. That's a more non-stressful way of doing it, and could end up being more profitable if you hold it long enough(especially as an inexperienced trader).
moreover he uses a leverage strategy, of course the risk will be far greater. You have to adjust the capital with the skills you have, you understand the right allocation for yourself, because you know the level of skills you have, you also have to consider your courage to accept losses and your financial abilities
375  Economy / Economics / Re: Crypto Insurance on: July 04, 2019, 03:56:07 AM
What are your thoughts about having a compulsory insurance when someone wants to do some ICO so that investors are safe and the participants are also safe? So if ever they want to scam people, people are secured.
Then thats insurance agency will bankrupt, because they will bear all the investment costs that you spend, because many ico become a scam. I'm sure there won't be an agency that will guarantee you safe in ICO investment, if you want to be safe then don't invest, basically all investments have risks, so face it dude
376  Economy / Economics / Re: The Risks and Rewards of Cryptocurrencies on: July 04, 2019, 03:50:04 AM
Do you want people to put on headsets and listen to this podcast for 28:33 minutes? why would people do that? I think you should listen to the podcast and then summarize what they said and post in this thread the summary you made

I would love to know your thoughts about where we are going and how you think the landscape will change.

if enter a lot of money in the crypto market, I believe that the volatility will not be very high as it is today, at least we will not see high increases and followed by very large falls

I also hate listening to a very long Podcast, sometimes some opinions are out of topic, I prefer reading an article, but if it is a very people in the crypto like Satoshi I'll go for it, better just summarize it, going back to your question, until we don't have a regulation we will still going to have an ups and down, but I prefer unregulated because everyone will do his own assignment.
So you think regulation can make fluctuations disappear? in my opinion it's not a factor that will make prices stable. although regulations and legalization are made for crypto. the market will remain fluctuating, that's what makes cryptocurrency special afterall
377  Economy / Economics / Re: Is bitcoin volatility here to stay? on: July 04, 2019, 03:41:56 AM
What happened in the last two years is real evidence of why people join the cryptocurrency community.  Those who invested until 2016 now have a fairly good profit, especially considering the growth in 2017.  And the desire to get rich is still present today and that is why volatility attracts people to Bitcoin.
That is right, volatility is what really attracted lots of people to cryptocurrency generally and not only bitcoin, people are here in the industry to make money and have not yet fully embraced the main reason for creating a cryptocurrency technology. Volatility will not complete disappear in the cryptocurrency market generally, it has come to stay, it will only be reducing in some coins as time goes by, because the more we progress in this industry, the more new projects are being created and new volatility being created also.

Bitcoin volatility will eventually disappear in future, although not completely, but at least its volatility will be 90% gone, by then, it will automatically turn to an expensive stable coin, and people will be using more of satoshi then.
My question is what factors make fluctuations disappear? do users increase, marketcaps increase or what? I myself do not think that fluctuations will disappear, fluctuations are part of the crypto market, as well as bitcoin. prices will always go up and down quickly even though sometimes experience occasional slowdown in movements, but fluctuations will continue to exist in the bitcoin market
378  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Did you earn from the lastest bull run of BTC 3k4-8k3?? on: July 04, 2019, 02:37:25 AM
I earned just a little but not that much. But that's fine, even if it's just small amount. Even though at the second post, the graph shows that you can earn 158% by investing at the bottom. Well, I just invested at $5400 to $8000. I enjoyed the run and will probably try to put some money again.
Actually the bull run signal was seen a few months ago when prices rose significantly from $3800 to $5500 in a short period of time, people who bought after that were smart people and now they must be get big profits, because after that prices continue to rise.
379  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to make an effective crypto portfolio? on: July 04, 2019, 02:28:39 AM
Lol, bitcoin is one of the best performing assets and you say you don't have it in your portfolio?

As far as I know, majority of hodlers put like 60% or more on bitcoin to sit on their wallet for a long time and don't want to touch it unless they hit their exit strategy and then sell.

You said you need to add bitcoin, then do it before it's too late.
Agree, you see the market price movements today and a few days before, bitcoin is one of a coin that has the best price movement, the price has doubled this year. Bitcoin is the most potential coin, so don't turn your eyes on bitcoin, you should to have it in your portfolio
380  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cryptocurrency In The Gambling Industry: All You Need To Know About Bitcoin on: July 04, 2019, 02:24:59 AM
One of the main reasons why people use cryptocurrencies for gambling is because they can remain anonymous and they can play even from countries where gambling is restricted. Another advantage of using crypto for gambling is because all deposits and withdrawals are processed in a very short time and most important they work 24/7. Gambling with cryptocurrencies becomes more and more popular every year and I think soon many popular fiat casinos will start using Blockchain technology on their online platforms.
Thats the point! I also gambled because of crypto. what is the problem of the world of gambling currently in the world? Yeah, regulation. it makes it difficult for many people in some countries to gamble using their fiat money because of restrictions, with crypto they can gamble anywhere. crypto will become the future currency for gambling
