Good advice, but I would add-don't store your Bitcoin etc on exchanges or wallets on your PC, Tablet etc, use strong passwords-not the same one you use for email, social media etc and lastly use a hard wallet such as Trezor etc. I assume your anti virus and anti malware are up to date and your os is fully patched.
Thats right, don't use the same password for each account you have, because someone can hack a site and can get your account email and password there, and they have a kind of checker to see which accounts are suitable for the email and password you have, this is simple tips to avoid hacking |

If crypto does gain massive adoption and you are able to pay for things in crypto, there would be less of a reason for people to cash out into fiat. How would government collect taxes from crypto gains then? Also, if something like ETH becomes big, how is the government gonna stop people from making pyramids, ponzis, and scams in general?
There are many ways to collect taxes. For institutional investors, it is easy to follow the owner of the portfolio. Or the banks probably will store btc like fiat. Or maybe during buying or selling things. but is it the biggest tax the government gets from someone's income? if many people use bitcoin for their salary, then what is the state of the country's economy then ? that's our concern now. why adoption is slow because the government is trying to stop bitcoin in any way so that the government does not lose |

The only difference is that people usually buy useless sh*t during Black Fridays, while buying BTC at today's price is a golden opportunity. But, yeah, I know it's impossible to explain that to people who are skeptical. I know that because I was in their place once. The fool I was, I didn't even bother to research, I just ignored the message. What are your opinions?
For a long time I thought BTC stabilized at $6400, then boom!
I would like to get some views to help me decide what to do.
It has been a wild ride (to put it mildly!) It can be scary.
Just get popcorn and watch the price like a movie because nobody knows where the price will move. Crypto is so new and the technical analysis just depend on last 6-7 years. So in TA the analysis of the future according to the past and I do not know how accurate the analysis of the price movement we have not encountered in the past. In such cases you can make money with luck not with knowladge. Yeah, prices can still go up and down at any time, we cannot ensure prices will stabilize, because it is very possible after that prices will fluctuate again. but in my opinion TA plays a very important role in your predictions, TA with its various methods provides an overview of existing market conditions, so it is very likely similar to what will happen |

I was used to see high graphics for my coins back in 2017 so I was thinking it will happen again this year. I still hope it does
pump occurs if there are many things that support such as mass adoption, positive news, high confidence in the market, a positive trend and etc, but for this year there haven't been many aspects that support the price of bitcoin for pump. I think you have to be patient for longer. at least 2019 or 2020 will be a turning point for bitcoin |

What will be price prediction for ethereum in 2018 end ,

I am expecting ethereum to be under 150 dollar at the end of the this year and if this happens this is a very good buying opportunity according to me. Of course it depends on btc price if it rise, eth price can rise like other altcoins. Today there are many crypto prices strengthened and the price of Ethereum is still below $150. I think it's still not too late to buy. now prices are still very cheap for ETH compared to previous prices, so take advantage of this opportunity well |

I had that kind of experience as well, but I never play with big money, so I never loose big money  logically, so even if I lost everything I had couple of times the road wasn't so shameful to me. I don't think it depends on the amount of money you are gambling on? sometimes I play poker and sports bets with my friends, with low amount, but when I lose, that is enough to embarrass and make me shame, because my friend made a profit from me |

I can stop completely without gambling and can control myself.
How about you and how long you can control yourself for not playing these games?
for the past two years of me playing gambling I decided to stop since november 2017 since I don't have much source of income that time so I'm not eligible to play because I might starve later if I lose so I decided to end my addiction in gambling specially in poker. To save some money and start a new life without gambling now It will be a year on this coming december. Actually you did good thing since you realized that you are wasting your valuable money for fun purpose in the wrong place and keep your mind clean abot keep away from gambling if you still don't have income to gamble or not you can try gambling as before with limits on how much you can spend here. Come on man, everyone has their own thing to have fun? even my friends collect robots and spend more then tens thousands of dollars to buy various kinds of robots, it's not a problem because he likes and happy. and I think it doesn't matter if someone spends some of their money in gambling for fun? |

We have lot of games in gambling and each have different kind of probability of winning and their rewards also depends upon the probability level so on which game you got your maximum reward in signle bet?
So far my biggest multiplier hit is on sports betting parlay, if Im not mistaken I won around 35x my bet that time but I lost so much before hitting it. On my I only did 10x multiplier, nothing higher on that. I dont rely so much on luck based games  I also experience the same win, even the odds I have are around 50x and I win. I used parlay on soccer bet some time ago. unfortunately I only used bet amount 0.001 btc. so the benefits aren't too big. but I'm still trying again with the same strategy. wish me luck |

Unlikely to become the universal currency of the world. It's more likely that it will succeed along fiat however.
In a way, it has already become a universal currency. It can be used in any place of the world (where you have the Internet, sure). However, Bitcoin will never replace the traditional money, which is more convenient. Right, actually bitcoin is already a universal currency, as you say you can use bitcoin anywhere, and anyone from any country can use bitcoin. but to replace fiat as a conventional currency, it will never happen man |

Both have risks and their respective benefits, but only the methods are different. For those of me who don't like online betting, I immediately chose crypto trading, even though trading is now a little less expected because market conditions continue to decline, but at least we can avoid these losses by holding them back. actually not supposed to be gambling compared to trade, yeah this is a personal perspective but I don't think gambling is a method of making money like trading. if you use gambling to make money, then you have to get ready for bankruptcy because nothing guarantees you can profit there, because you only depend on luck? |

Going in vacation or doing a hobby of yours is not really a definitive solution to quit gambling. Sure it helps to go on vacation but as long as you have your cell phone with you , you can still gamble from wherever you are. Doing a hobby will keep you busy for a few hours but then after you finish you will be back in gambling.
True definitive solution is to ask professional help.
Professional help will only add to your expenses, and it will be useless if you don't have the desire to leave, which is cured is not your habit but your mind and heart. if you intend not to gamble again and commit to that promise, then you can definitely get out of gambling |

Well i don't think there are a lot of streaks that go 20 rolls, whether it's a win or not. If you have enough money to play for 20 losses, and that would be a considerably big amount, you have higher chances than most dice players.
Yeah losing strikes 20 times in a row maybe it really won't happen in dice, but who is the person who wants to risk big money to use that method? because the risk is very close to you if you use that method? you can just lose all your money in a short time with this method? |
