521  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: A shocking truth! on: June 04, 2019, 02:09:27 PM
My advice: Stop thinking there's gonna be another last bottom (it's a 50/50 bet which can go either way), and just buy /invest into anything you think it's good to buy...Procrastination is a thief of money (crypto version Smiley)
We keep on doing this, we give so much advice to people and yet very few react positively on this. Its not our loss anyway but we have to help each other, now let's encourage everyone again to buy while the price of bitcoin are still on $8k level. This is the truth, bitcoin will not stay below on this level because it will start to grow if you haven't heard the news about facebook coin try to research that because it can help the price of bitcoin to pump, so try to invest more now.
we know that the market is in an uptrend conditions now and that requires us to take advantage of the best possible opportunities, especially when the price corrections and falls. because not long the price will definitely rise again. I think that continuing to buy when falling prices are a good thing also, an uptrend will make price keep rising
522  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading as an entertainment thing on: June 04, 2019, 01:58:25 PM
There are a lot of companies calling me at least every 2 days to ask me if i am into trading and if not why not and why i don't and so on..
Is there any kind of entertainment if doing online investments or trading?
Enlighten me!

Trading is entertaining in a sense that whenever you earn through investing, it makes you more excited and ethusiastic and makes you to invest more. What's better than earning money through your hardworks though? All becomes worth it and that makes it entertaining.
Yeah, I think trading isn't a place of fun, but if you have skills in trade and making profits it will certainly give you fun and enthusiasm, but if you want to find only fun, trade is not the place. trade is not a place to playing, trade is full of risks and if you just play you will only get a loss
523  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Can you actually profit from bot trading? on: June 04, 2019, 01:46:20 PM
I'm planning to trade crypto by using bot while I work. I'm curious if it could be done in a way that you profit with minimal intervention to the bot? For the mean time, I'm studying TA and other fundamentals regarding to trading.
if you are good at programmers, and you have a good strategy for every condition on the market. and implementing it in bots, you can just make a big profit from that bot, there are advantages where bots are far better than ordinary humans, because bots avoid emotional feelings, bots won't be able to panic selling because of fear. so I think the bot is worth trying
524  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The Definition of Winning in Gambling on: June 02, 2019, 11:15:02 PM
LOL, as sad it is to say...

"Not losing money" Wink

Most of the gamblers will agree.

But there are some that will not agree with this since they will say that they are having fun. Some of my friends do the same, even if they lose or win, they still think they won since they are gambling with us and having fun with it. For me, the definition of winning in gambling is learning something and that is usually that gambling will not take you anywhere since you are dealing with infinite risks.
because the gambling goals of each player are different, therefore the meaning of a winning is different for them. for players who are looking for profit, of course smaller losses and bigger profits are absolute wins, but different for other players that looking for fun, like you said
525  Economy / Speculation / Re: Correction coming in the coming weeks? on: June 02, 2019, 11:09:01 PM
but this "correction" you are expecting already happened!
when price shoot up to $9100 and they cashed out their profit immediately crashing it down to $8000 that was a 10% profit in a couple of hours and was the correction that we had.
right now we have a nice slow upward movement starting from before May in $5k range and it is not showing any signs of reversal or even slow down apart from the hiccups we have from time to time.
I think that has happened, yeah the previous price has touched $9100 and oversold has made the supply increase very high and make prices fall back to $8500, corrections like this will continue to occur during an uptrend, every trader will do it for securing profit, but certainly prices will go up again, and now will return to $9k
526  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: You Can't Be Jobless And Be Participating In Bounties on: June 02, 2019, 11:01:31 PM
Yes,we need to have a job with stable income then only we can concentrate our spare time into bounties to earn more or nothing depends on which projects we were choosing to promote and also youtube campaign or translate campaign might give more rewards than other kind of campaigns.
you are right, for youtube and translator campaigns maybe getting a reward is greater than the other campaigns, but it is too difficult to be able to enter the list of participants in the campaign. moreover to choose a really good bounty and pay, it's very difficult.
You know, nowadays work is not just being an employee, going to the office in the morning and going home at night, it's work that is too mainstream and boring. Getting job according to what you like, if you like crypto then focus on that job. expecting stable income only for coward. if you are a brave man, work on what you like, whether it's crypto trading, youtube or anything else
527  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Regulating bodies on: June 02, 2019, 10:51:48 PM
Online gambling is very popular nowadays, specially those who also uses crypto for playing. With this popularity, there's ton of gambling sites/operators available. But the problem is who to trust? who plays fair and pays fair?

Are there any regulating bodies that verifies, rates, and promotes gambling sites that is genuinely fair to its customers? Not just on fair plays but also gambling sites that protects its customers identity etc. Thank you.
every gambling site has a provably fair and that guarantees that they have a system that suits what they say. for those who verify, of course each player can do that.
because in crypto there is no regulator like the government, anyone can verify gambling site, assess and rate that site. You can see it in some review about gambling sites in google
528  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are ICOs dead? on: June 02, 2019, 10:44:04 PM
If you compare the time of raising funds through ICOs and now that IEOs is in play, you will have every reason to believe that ICOs are gone or instead dead.
ICOs caused more harm than good both to investors and the crypto space, but with IEOs now, everything is getting better.

It's very useful for the arrival of the IEO at this time with complaints from people about ICO that did not produce anything and did not improve the slightest profit. Hopefully this good thing will continue to increase in the future and many investors will again buy new types of Altcoins.
This is what we need an intermediary between the investor and the project itself. The developer will not be able to use the funds
collected from investors, before certain conditions must be met. so investors will not be cheated and scammed because of the shit project
529  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: HAVE YOU EVER MET ANY SUCCESSFUL GAMBLER on: June 02, 2019, 10:22:18 PM
So i was just wondering, aside the times i see the names of rich and successful gamblers during my google search, i dont think i have personally met anyone who made it big in gambling. Its possible there are  but i know more of those who have lost more than those who have made it.
Please note that by been successful, i  do not mean those who make this little and minor winnings on a daily bases(NO). I mean those with Big records, like who have won over 1BTC from gambling. If you know any either in an online or offline casino please dont hesitate to share their story, you can include the name of the site they made their wins, i am sure someone would be encouraged. Lets go guys Roll Eyes
To meet directly I never have, because in my place gambling is still illegal, for online gambling I only see history in their profile, but
never see who is behind the account personally because of anonymity. I often see big win in Primedice, 777coin, or crypto-games, they use very large capital to gamble, they are very brave people I know
530  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you still bother to engage non Bitcoiners? on: June 02, 2019, 10:10:55 PM
I have tried my best to popularize Bitcoins among my friends and members of the family. But a lot of them are concerned about the legality of Bitcoin. To be clear, Bitcoins are not illegal here in Indonesia. But due to a lack of clear regulations, most of the people are afraid to deal with cryptocurrency. And to make matters worse, there is a lot of negative propaganda going on in the media, labeling it as a ponzi.
Seeing that the government has a large influence on society, we do not deny that legality is very important for the process of adoption and dissemination. You will find difficulties when involving outsiders to join Crypto, because of course they will ask about the regulation and validity of this business.
531  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Facebook plans to launch 'GlobalCoin' currency in 2020 on: June 02, 2019, 11:28:33 AM
I am Just see a news.
And i am existing for it.
Facebook like to launch a cryptocurrency!

I think this project successful easily. Becuse, Facebook is most public social site. Many many people use Facebook for communication.

I see this news on: BBC News
Link: www.bbc.co.uk/news/amp/business-48383460

Wow!! thats a very great news for all crypto lovers. I think this news will be a bomb exploration in crypto industry so that those still does not loving crypto coin must think about this. No doubt that all big company and site also be a part of crypto just time being.
Facebook is free social media, I don't think the cryptocurrency they create will be automatically used by all users, because most Facebook users only use it for chatting, which is free. I don't know it's good or bad news, because it can be a threat to Bitcoin itself right?
532  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: When Do you realize a Crypto project is scam or Fraud? on: June 01, 2019, 04:28:17 PM
At a point the team start given excuses to abide by what they promised to do or stop communicating with the community then I can sense the project is scam. How do you determine a project is gone bad and won't fulfil it promise? What criteria do you use ? or you wait for years thinking all will be well ?
Actually there are a lot of signs they are becoming a scam, seen when their team starts rarely active, does not provide clarity on the future of their project, rarely responds to investor questions at ANN Thread, most of that signs are visible when the end of the time of ICO
533  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are You Happy And What Are Your Plans Next? on: June 01, 2019, 03:46:09 PM
We have now seen if prices start to grow, bitcoin has price of more than $ 8k and ethereum $ 240 or maybe some of the altcoins you hold also have price increases, so do you plan to hold it all or will it sell at price now? or do you still plan to leave Crypto? or maybe you regret not buying a lot when price drop yesterday?
what I still regret is not using more capital when low prices are still on the market. What is my plan, of course keep collecting. if you are a trader then selling when high prices are certainly the main choice, because prices will fall any time right, taking profit will be much better. Moreover the price will fall after that, because there is too much supply.
534  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Don't be too quick to judge ICOs on: June 01, 2019, 03:32:03 PM
I personally do not believe this statistics that 99% of ICOs are scam, because some ICOs fail do not mean they are all scam. I usually tell people that starting an ICO is like starting a new business, it might succeed immediately, it might fail presently but have a great future and it might fail totally beyond redemption. So because a project is failing to perform presently or fail totally do not mean it is a scam. Don't get me wrong here, I never said there are no scam projects but the rate is not as high as alleged. Judging a project based on its first few years is wrong, give it time to realize its potentials.
Of course not all ICO are scam, many ICO are successful for example Ethereum, and failing to have a high price does not mean they are scams, not all projects qualify for exchange, not all projects will have high prices immediately, but that does not mean they are scam, you just lack of lucky to be able to sell faster.
535  Economy / Economics / Re: Big risk ,big results. on: June 01, 2019, 06:39:19 AM
There is also another reality. Big risk, big loss, don't forget that possibility. Many think that everyone can do trading and make money from it but the truth is that trading is not for everyone. It takes a lot of experiences, knowledge and skills to become successful trader who can also afford big risk with possibility of good earning.
Yeah people sometimes forget the negative consequences too, they think a big risk will produce big profits, but the possibility of losing is even greater. You have to consider it well if you use this method. indeed if you do not have high skills then it is better to use only a small risk, You must emphasize the possibility of profit too dude.
536  Economy / Economics / Re: Supply and demand curve analysis, why Bitcoin does or does not change price. on: June 01, 2019, 06:17:16 AM
My prediction is Bitcoin will be quiet steady for today. I expect the price might fall down a bit, do not expect any drastic movement in price to go up, because there is quite an elastic supply for 2.5k bitcoins.

I quote you so we can see the images, it seems like there has been a massive selloff in the last few hours, after hitting $9.100 bitcoins are now down on $8200
Of course it will happen, it is not possible prices will continue to rise, its not possible demand will continue to rise. supply will definitely go up, because the crypto market is filled with many traders and investors, they will definitely sell when they see high prices on the market. price reductions will occur but not in large percent #IMO
537  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Are you following your gut instinct in trading? on: June 01, 2019, 05:57:19 AM
We were advice during my forex trading by trading expert that we should not depend only on technical and fundamentals indicators alone in trading but we should focus our mind in the third indicator which is our gut instinct and we were told that it can not fail us but making us rich and build our confident in trading.  However. I think about 80% of traders don't know how to hear the voice of their instinct during trading!  Can one get this gut instinct training like others investments tools?  Is it even truth that we have something like gut instinct?
When I was a beginner in crypto, I used to follow my intuition but then I realized that this is what mainly gets me in trouble. Gut instinct is trading with emotions; that is not good for us traders. What we should do is study TA and trade objectively. If possible, use trading bots to maximize profit also to trade without emotions.
I believe so. Trying to follow your gut instinct involves your emotions that is not really good for trading. I usually trade through my own research and analysis. I do sometimes follow what my gut instinct says but i also see to it that it will not end up like gambling just like what most of the traders have experienced.
Instincts will not produce maximum results, because the instincts will be influenced by your feelings and instincts can say to sell for fear of losing more, but the analysis may say differently. do not follow gut instinct, this is not gambling mate. use your skills to analyze and make choices
538  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Are you secretive about trading currency? on: June 01, 2019, 05:49:29 AM
What? Is the attitude changing? You do not sell drugs, but cryptocurrency. My friends have not changed their attitude towards me.
Maybe OP don't want to share this secret because it can make anyone to be rich in no time if they knkw how to do it.
Actually anyone of your friends will dont care and will not change their attitude even though you are a crypto investor. I think OP is only jealous if their friends will be more successful than himself lol. Different from me, I tell about crypto to all of my friends, but most of them refused it
539  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2018-2019 on: June 01, 2019, 05:37:11 AM
Thoughts on CL grand final? My hearth and brain says Liverpool.

This is such huge chance for them to end the season. I think all non english fans will cheer for Liverpool.  Grin
Maybe there isn't just me here who thinks Livepool is the UCL champion this season. I, too, think of the things I talk to each time on this topic. 65% seems to be very favored Liverpool. I want to see the reaction of Tottenham fans here, whether they believe they can win against Liverpool.
65%? I just saw them talking about Liverpool here which means maybe that is a high percentage maybe 99% of the community here are favorites for Liverpool to get the CL title this season. If we look at the last 5 matches between Liverpool vs Tottenham then we find where Liverpool get 3 wins with a draw once and lose once. It was an interesting match because both teams were very ambitious to win the match by creating many goals at least over 2.5 goals. So even though it's a CL final match by playing the English team but that doesn't make the CL final uninteresting, because both of these teams are very ambitious to get the CL title because this is a very good opportunity for both teams.
Statistically, Liverpool are at the top of Tottenham, and if we look at the data of players who contributed to Mo Salah & Mane's team is the top scorer of the English league this season.
This is soccer dude, you can't ensure a win only with the match statistics of the team, anything can happen is in football. there will be many possibilities that will occur in the final. Tottenham came with full trust because they were the first time quilify to the final, while Liverpool with their experience wanted to win this tittle. the end result will be quite difficult, but I prefer Liverpool to win !
540  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Your opinion on Player Vs Player Sports Betting on: June 01, 2019, 05:25:12 AM
We recently created the fairplay.live platform where players can bet against each other on sport events.
Our introductory post  was quickly moved to the Altcoin section so we didn't get the chance to receive as much feedback as we wanted from people who actually bet on sport events.

If you have some time to give us  feedback we would really appreciate it:

- Do you actually like the concept of betting against another person to take his money or do you prefer betting against a bookie
- Would you use the platform to bet against strangers (as it is now) or would prefer it if you could create bet events yourself to bet against your friends (in private) ?
- What do you think of the platform as it is ?
- Are there any sports events you would like to see available for p2p betting ?

If you'd like to have a chat with us please join our Discord channel .

Thanks in advance.

Me personaly i like the p2p betting, its like our traditional way of gambling when we are young betting on something with our friends.
I would use your platform for sure but ill wait for more feedbacks before going in.
The site itself is quite good just need some retouches all are smooth  and user friendly so no worries for me in platform itself.
For sports almost every sports that gets the attention of most of us is already in your site so for me its fine not to add more
But this gambling system seems slow because you have to wait for the odds agreed by both parties right? this indeed reminds us of the
old way, and I still gamble with my friends for soccer betting too. there are still rare gambling sites that use this kind of system.
